Astrea was walking alone through the woods with her silver hair flowing behind her violently. Tears were dried to her soft fair cheeks as she continued to run through the forest. She had gone to the lake were she would usually find her friend, no lover, but something had changed in his attitude. She had arrived there with a smile on her face, until she was ambushed by an army of soldiers. He had betrayed her…he had told everyone at pandemonium of her secret and had intended on exterminating her. She remembered the image of an android coming after her with a gun and then pulled the trigger. Luckily the bullet only grazed her skin, but she was still bleeding profusely from her right arm.

The red blood stained her white sundress and as she ran she would occasionally fall and stain her dress green and brown from the grass bellow her. She came to a stop once she felt that her lungs were going to explode and then she turned around to look behind her and check to see if they were still on her trail, but luckily they lost her. She let out a tiring sigh and then collapsed onto the ground leaning up against a tree. She winced in pain as cool air blew by and irritated her bleeding wound. She knew that if she were to transform into a dragon right now that the wound would heal faster, but she didn't want to take any risks so she stayed put and relaxed on the forest ground. She suddenly felt dizzy and tired, but she knew that she couldn't stop and sleep, not now.

As Astrea struggled to open her eyes she saw the blurred image of her older brother looking down at her. She let out half of a sigh as she looked up at him. “Y-yes.” She murmured through her pale lips and then closed her eyes once again. Everything was such a blur right then and there; she could hardly notice that her brother was by her side. She had lost a large amount of blood and with that she was majorly disoriented.

“I can’t move.” She muttered again trying to open her eyes and not wanting to drift into unconsciousness. She could still feel her warm dragon blood dripping down her right arm and she tried applying more pressure to the wound so it wouldn’t bleed anymore, but she had grown too weak to leave her hand there. Her brother then bandaged it with a piece of his shirt and she felt slightly relieved. She was happy that her brother was by her side helping her. She didn’t even want to imagine what would happen if he wasn’t there to help her, but even though he was there she was still losing blood and she was in desperate need of medical attention. She could go to the infirmary in their village back at Reateria, but it was too risky to walk that far and for so long. She could die on the way there.

During this time Astrea could only hear murmers and she couldn't open her eyes at all to see who it was. She then felt herself being lifted up off the ground and being carried probably by her brother. She let out a small moan once again trying to speak...she wanted despretly to speak to her brother and who ever else was there, but she of course was too weak.

Rynus rose and eyebrow at the man. The blood wouldn't stain? Yeah right. Well, if the man didn't mind, then Rynus was really in no position to correct him. He carefully strapped his sister in to the seat. After he was sure that she wouldn't be going anywhere, he jumped up front and buckled himself in. He said, "She is in there as tight as I can, so we can head out. My name is Rynus, by the way. Thanks for the help. We needed it."

"Hmm... Well, I might have been exaggerating when I said battalion. There was at least 200 men there, that I could tell. Didn't really get the chance to look." Rynus look around on the main road. As a dragon, he had never really had occasion to travel in a car. In fact, he had never been in one before now. As fascinated as he had always been by technology, cars were not made with massive dragons in mind. It was a lot smoother than he had always pictured, and now that he had a human body, he would really need to find out how to drive one of these things.

"And yeah, they did just open fire. On Neutral ground. As to why...? Honestly, I couldn't even hope to guess. Were they looking for something? Or securing an area? Those come to mind, but as I said, those are shots in the dark. Who knows, maybe they were there just to kill my sister." He laughed at that, knowing the ridiculousness of the statement. No one sent that many troops against one person. Even a dragon.
