Fears:
It has come to the point in his life where nothing matters anymore. He fears losing purpose to staying alive.

Personality:
On the outside, Donatello is the type of person that always speaks his mind. But it's because he can. He knows he has authority over people, and uses it. Often appears as cold, bitter, and sarcastic. He gives off a very "I'm better than you" kind of attitude. Although not the best person he is a well respected man. He shows no sign of care or ability to love. Always finding a way to ruin people's happiness. His past has made him a sadistic sociopath that feeds of the misery of others.

In the inside, He's a broken man. He has lost so much to be at the top. And now there is no reason to stay. Donatello is just a very confused man who needs to sort out his priorities. He tries to hide his emotions by seeming heartless. He can love, but doesn't want to. He doesn't think it's likely anyone could think of loving him anyway. The only times he isn't cold is when he is alone, in his mansion.

History:
In his early ages, Donatello lived in the lower classes. His family spent their entire lives as beggars. They we're wealthy back in Japan, but where not aloud to leave because of the fortress. So he studied old medical texts books. And later on helped make the formula to create the Venus pill. But the path he took to get there costed him his husband.

As a child he was ignored by his family. Surviving was the only ting they focused on. He was a very lonely teen until he met an older boy named Scott. Him and Scott fell in love. He was satisfied with his life. They married once the were 16. His father joined the company that was working on the Venus pill. So they were rising out of the lower class. Donatello continued his studies and found a formula that could contribute to the company drastically. He saw an opportunity to get him and Scott a quicker way to a better life. So he left Scott, and went to the laboratory.

He lied about his age to be allowed to work with the higher scientists. But his father knew of this. Donatello couldn't risk being fired, so he poisoned him and killed him.

After many years , him and his partners made the Venus pill. He was of course overjoyed, and everyone left the lab for temporary release to see their families. Once he came home, the first person he wanted to see was his husband. But when he opened his door, a different family was there. They told him that the man who previously lived there was taken away a few weeks ago to the hospital. Donatello was later informed that Scott had died from depression a month ago.

Donatello now lives alone in a mansion. Many times he was invited to inspect the students in nearby schools. He goes every time, but never found anyone to his liking. He still works as a scientist trying to find a permanent cure. Although they found out his real age, they dropped the charges and allowed him to continue. Not many know of his past, but there are many rumors.

It was cold and damp in this abandoned building. People around me sob and whimper as we are all forced to stand in a straight line. "Hello," who had captured me beings to speak," I and my fellow friends have brought you here to have all your wildest dreams come true, perhaps. Soon a large group of Upper Class people will come to examine you, and if lucky you'll get picked to marry them." A smirk wiggles across his face indicating he is thinking something more sinister within.

Looking from side to side I can tell he's collected all of us from different forms of life. There's a short girl with large green eyes dressed in a summer dress, a large boy with nothing but tags for clothes, and then there's me wearing nothing but lingerie. I feel naked and disgraced. I hate my job, the clothes I must wear, and I especially hate being seen this way. Mentally I know no one's looking at me, but inside I feel like all stares are on me hiding me. I cross my arms around my chest to try hiding my chest some, my legs automatically cross themselves and my face burns. I feel my whole body burning in fact, like a thousand fire ants biting at once. This feeling isn't new though, I'd came across it a few times at work, but this is much worse. This embarrassment is almost unbearable and the fear unrealistic.

"And," the man continues, "failure to be picked will have you sent off into the red light districts to gain me and my associates money." His grin is wicked and so unfair. "They'll be here to inspect you soon." The cries and weeps grow louder as my body begins to tremble. I don't know how to think correctly if I were to try to run I'd most likely be killed and if I'm chosen I'll be wed and if not it'll be nothing knew. Two large limos pull into this waste land. From each limo a large man with black glasses and a sharp suit on comes over to the large line and begins inspecting. Taking in a deep breath I stop my trembling, if this is a test on beauty I know I can pass, well at least I think. Sooner then I thought the men arrive at me, they both take off their glasses and begin touching me. One starts on my thighs while the other my waist, their hands both gloves but cold. The feel of their touch is awkward, but doable, nothing I'm not use to. The one at my thighs pulls out pen and paper and starts writing something down and once done he feels around my chest, face, and hair and gots more things down. "Out of line." He says to me placing a gentle hand on my right shoulder he pulls me kindly over to the limo, it is shocking how gentle he is being, the first kind thing that's happened so far in this trashy place. "You'll be perfect." He tells me with a smile. "The rich will be here soon and for sure you'll be one they pick." Pick? I thought this was the rich ones, but I guess my thought was wrong.

Dull. Everything is dull.

Donatello lied on his leather sofa with his head on it's arm rest. A vinyl of Tchaikovsky's sixth symphony filled the room. 55 rooms and he chose to use only 3. The closet, the bathroom, and his study. The other rooms were only touched by the maids for sanitation. He felt empty. He lived 8 years alone in the mansion. But 6 of those years had a purpose. Now it's just him using his intelligence to please others. There's no fun in that. He took a sip of whiskey and tried to be nostalgic. But every sweet memory left a bitter feel. Donatello released his rage by throwing his glass cup at the record player. That would be the fifteenth replacement. He took a drag from his cigarette, and wiggled his fingers through the smoke. He was aware that it was bringing him closer to death, but saw no wrong in it. His thoughts were interrupted by his butler's knocking.

"Master Suzuki, A man on the phone has another selection of spouses. If you are interested, he said to go to the usual location"

"Get, the chauffeur" Donatello stood up and walked over to the mirror. He re-adjusted his suit and slicked back his hair. I have nothing better to do.

The limo ride was short. Donatello handed his cigarette butt to the chauffeur and the moment he stepped out, he lit himself another. A man, who looked like a beggar compared to Donatello, escorted him to a room filled with other upper class citizens. Some he recognized, some he didn't. He took his usual place in the front. He was a powerful man, and many were afraid of him so they tried not to annoy him by sitting too close. He was about to take another drag, but then he heard a group of voices behind him.

"Isn't he that Suzuki man?"
"Yeah, I think so. I heard he killed his entire family to get his wealth"
"I heard it was his wife he killed"
"Really? I thought it was that he killed his partner to make the Venus pills"
"No, I heard he did that all but killed his dad, and ate him to hide the evidence"

That was all that Donatello could handle, before he stood up and walked toward the pesky group. "May I suggest something" He rhetorically asked with a curled grin, "Instead of believing every ridiculous word you hear, start using that little brain of yours. Either that or give it to a hamster, since that is the only animal compatible to your size"

"Now that's uncalled for! We ju-" Donatello blew a cloud of smoke right in the man's face. While the man was coughing, Donatello picked him up by his collar. "Never, think you are even the slightest bit worthy to talk back to me!" With a cold glare into his eyes he says loud enough for everyone in the room to hear, "Everyone in this room knows me. But who are you? Just another insignificant brat trying to find another pretty little spouse to fuck"

He dropped the man and walked back to his seat. One of the workers tried to apologize him for the trouble, but he excused him. This better be worth it.

Synclaire

She chuckled and looked over at the man who caused a little but of a scene. "So you're Suzuki." Turning in her chair to face him she smirked. She had liked the scene he caused and the way he had stood up for himself, "You're the reason most are still alive." She stated as she put a pink class of red wine to her lips and taking a small sip. "I've heard most of those things myself, but I never believed them." She was being a tad cocky, she was annoyed that he was getting attention for being himself, he was famous, but still she wanted to own the room. She could have done something to claim her attention back, which she would do later.

Turning back around she faced the front, but continued talking. "I find it odd that someone like," she paused for a few seconds to call more attention to herself,"you, would need help finding a spouse." Getting excited and turns back around to face him with wide eyes and voice growing louder to express her new mood, "You must have suitors lining up at your door waiting to marry you. I mean, you're one of the richest-" she cut herself off realizing how she was over reacting to this man, giving him to much praise he hadn't earned and would never deserve. "people in the world." She finished calmly and collected as if she had never been so caught up in the moment before.

With a small cough she flips her hair over her shoulder, showing how she felt like she was owning the room. "Now I beat you're wondering why I'm here." Synclaire figured he most likely hadn't cared, but still she wanted to talk about herself to pull more attention to herself. "I leave a lot, but people I know I don't like, but coming here I can pick one, sometimes buy as many people as I want, and they can never leave me." She bit her lower lip after finishing her last sentence, she knew it made her sound like she couldn't get anyone for herself, but that wasn't true. People that knew Synclaire didn't want her, she was rude and mean and controlling. She knew that, but she was beautiful and thought that was good enough to get someone, but she was wrong, but hand picking people was easier: you buy them and they can never leave you.

Donatello didn't even bother to make eye contact. He just sat stared straight ahead, while the girl continued rambling on about her life. But she got his attention when she asked how he never bought anyone. It was true, this was his 48th time. He took every offer, but always came home empty handed. It had never really occurred to him that he needed a spouse. It had been years since he last had sex. And he even was offered the children of upper class citizens. The need to have another person in his mansion, was never felt. Just emptiness, maybe that was it. Having a spouse would be something, but loving them would be a completely different thing. Will I ever be able to just forget Scott.

When he noticed the girl hadn't stopped talking he took a glimpse of her. She looked vaguely familiar. Probably some brat who never has to lift one of her well-polished fingers. But what really made him interested was her attitude. There was something about her that was screaming for attention. He laughed quietly. How pathetic. Many people thought they were significant. That their society had something to depend on them. He however did. What if he stayed with Scott. There would be fifteen times as many piles of corpses lying on the streets. The research of the scientists would be behind by centuries. But what did this girl do, other than look pretty for her precious daddy. Pitiful. He blew a large cloud of smoke at her face, and with a bored look asked loud enough for everyone to hear." Who are you?".

Synclaire

At his questioned she glared at him with hatred. "Everyone in this room knows of me, I'm Synclaire Amy Lewis of the Lewis house hold. I don't care how important you are, but I'm very important-" before she could finish on the stage in the very front a person began to speak.

"Hello everyone, we have the greatest bunch of people for you guess to pick from today. We have the most attractive of the bunch of Lower Class people ever." With a sigh Synclaire got comfortable in her seat to listen. "When ready you all may come check out who you want, at the end you all may bid on the person of your liking, the highest bidder gets their choice." The announcer man smiled and most people got out of their seats to check out who they might like.

Synclaire jumped out of her seat and took off running to the stage, she loved to always look first. On all the Lower Class around their necks were pieces of paper that told their names, weight, health, age, and body measurements. Synclaire only liked the best of the best and find two she was already interested in, and she finally stopped at one male. "What's your name?" The boy took a moment to reply, but when he did he told her his name was Emery and she smiled. She liked the way he looked and wrote his babe down on the people she wanted to buy.

She she was done looking she went back to the seat she had been sitting at before and wondered if Suzuki had found anyone, she had just met the man, but he seemed to have very high expectations like herself and wondered if he had met anyone that came to his own.

From where she was she looked for him, maybe she could get a sense of who he wanted, she already knew someone like her he wouldn't choose: beautiful and confident. With a sigh she gave up and relaxed. Synclaire got bored easily and waiting for him to return was boring, all she wanted was someone to talk to until she got her new spouses.

Donatello smirked. The poor thing's delusional. Thinks she's important. He looked at her with pity. "Lewis", He knew of the name. At least he knew of her father. He smiled as she scurried to the spouses like a hungry squirrel. Now Donatello may not be the kindest, but he always maintained his dignity by being sophisticated. He slowly got up from his chair and calmly walked to the stage. After the scene he caused, some people actually stepped out of his way to let him through.Cowards.

He never took the bids seriously. What he would do was first look examine them. He would stop every time he saw someone who looked interesting, then ask random questions to startle them. To most the spouses were items, little trophies to make them look good. The type of things that are best when silent. So allowing them to talk was unusual. He only saw two that were worth speaking to and all had nothing interesting to say. Then he walked to a little boy that looked about 17. He had a face not even a mother could love, and almost every facial feature of a pig. Donatello raised his eyebrows "Now how do they expect to sell you with a face like that?". The boy started to tighten his face to hold back the tears. But Donatello didn't like that, he looked at his tag and held his face up by his chin. "Well James?". He began to sniffle, which led to sobbing. Deep, deep, deep down in his heart, he knew it was cruel. "suck it up kid, not everyone's is going to try to spare your feelings". He looked over to see the other upper class stare at him uncomfortably. So he moved along and looked at the next boy's tags. "So, Emery. What do you think of what I said to little porky over there?"

Emery

He looked at the attractive man in front of him. He knew the smart thing was to agree, but he couldn't bring himself to it. He thought that probably hurt the boy greatly, Emery had trouble seeing people unhappy. "That was mighty rude of you, sir." He replied to the Upper class as he looked down at the mans shoes. He regretted what he said, but he had strong beliefs and liked standing up for them. "I'm sorry I don't agree with your statement." Emery's voice was weak, he had the fear of dying, a thought he didn't like to much. He raised his head to look at the man, Emery had seen his face before. "You're Mr. Suzuki." Emery said I'm awe. He had heard a lot about this man when he was with his mother, for his mother us to sell his magically medicine. So many people were still living because of this man, but Emery's mother had died because of it.

He managed as he started into the mans dark eyes. "My mother use to sell Venus at the hospital she worked at, she extended so many lives because of you." Emery gave the man a warm smile. "It's honestly an honor to meet you." Emery had honestly wanted to meet this man, he was a huge fan of science and history.

Emery's smile soon faded as he released how he was meeting one of his idols: dirty, shoeless, shirtless, and only wearing shorts that were far to inappropriate that came to his mid-thigh. His face caught flame as he began to think more of the situation and his eyes soon darted back to the ground, he could no longer look at a man of such stature dressed as, as the stripper he was. "I'm a huge fan of science." He told Mr. Suzuki without looking at him. Emery was highly embarrassed. He usually looked so much better when leaving home, he was a very classy person. This whole new situation for him, he'd only seen pregnant Upper Class women really before, and none could compare to this man. "I'm sure you hear that all the time though, Mr. Suzuki." As he talked he looked up at the man with a nervous smile and flipped his hair from his eyes so he could see this anazing man more clearly.

The reality of all that was happening still really hasn't hit Emery in the crowded room. It was loud and full of desperat people. It was warm, but at the same time cold from what was taking place.

Emery

The chaos that had taken over the room was crazy. Emery quickly came to the side of Mr. Suzuki, "Are you ok?" He said in a rushed worried tone. Emery was surprised some random Lower Class would do something so stupid. 1.) The room was heavily guarded. 2.) If she gets caught she'll die. 3.) If it weren't for Mr. Suzuki most people in the world would be dead. He felt urged to run over to the girl and slap her back, violence is never the answer, but karma is. "It doesn't look like it hurt to bad." Emery had let out a small laugh to fill the uncomfortable moment. Being down over the man he smiled, "The red hand print should go away soon and it doesn't look like that kick left any damage." Walking around him Emery cuffed his arms under his and helped him to his feet.

Looking around the room it no long had the awkward strange feeling from the start, it was replaced with the hope and fear of others. From the conor of his right eye he could see the monstrous girl being caught. "Good." He said turning his attention back to Mr. Suzuki, "They caught the girl." At this point it was obvious she had been anti-Venus or something along those lines and most likely had planning something like this for weeks. This was the first bidding he'd been to, but he had heard stories about situations like this, usually the antis' were killed or imprisoned for strewing up trouble in what was suppose to be simple and happy. This was no longer so simple.

Most of the Upper Class had left, probably from the fear of being killed or injured from the rampage of Lower Class that wanted to escape or the Upper Class that was trying to reclaim there purchases. Emery had had a few bids on him today, and in the crowd he could see all of them leaving the scene, meaning he was now his idols. He was happy that the one he was going to live with he already knew about, if made him calm, but Emery had his father to worry about. With a sigh Emery pushes the thought of his father away, his father did need his help, but Emery couldn't depress himself with the thought of it, he didn't want to ruin him self being purchased with a bad mood.

That wasn't expected.

Donatello may be a genius, but he wasn't very strong. Emery helped him up, but anger was still boiling in him. Before he returned from the stage he went to Sara-lin. "If brains were made of gold, I would be far more rich" He got his cigarette and pressed it on her neck, leaving a burn. "You may know me. You may not either way. I am the reason people are still alive and breathing" His voice turned low and husky. almost as if he was whispering, " Don't assume, I enjoy that they are. You have no idea what I did to get here, and how much of a waste it is". He walked a few steps away and smiled and looked at Synclaire. He walked back to Sara-lin and whispered in her ear "Don't think you've fooled me".

When the the bidding began he sat in the chair bored. People screaming out names and numbers, it almost gave him a migraine. But he became lost in thought of what had just happened. It seemed almost like a dream, except that his stomach was still in pain. Not many people disagreed with the idea of Venus pills. Mostly because everyone was blinded by the idea of life and death. One was good, another bad. Which one was which? He smiled. Maybe they were meant to die young. He heard of the time where people lived to 100 years, not long ago. But if nature just decided to shorten the human's life-span. That would mean. I invented a cheat from death. But that wasn't as important as what Sara-lin might actually do. He looked around, a girl with that much moxie, would be a little more intelligent. The atmosphere changed completely, it felt as if something was going to pop out of nowhere.

He lost thought when the man shouted Emery's name. Donatello looked up with confusion. Something overcame him and he shouted, "3 million dollars". His eyes widened. He didn't even think about it. 3 million wasn't much to him, but why did he buy someone. What was wrong with him.

Emery

He watched Mr. Suzuki talk to the girl who'd kicked him, it was obvious it wasn't a friendly talk. Emery wanted to follow, but he knew that's be out of order. Soon guards came over to all the Lower Class and helped them straighten up the line. "The biddings will start soon." An announcer called over the intercom in an excited voice to help build good excitement. Looking out into the coward he could see the sparkles fly across the crowd as they waited for the biddings to begin.

"Who wants to start the bidding for Amy Coll!" And then the yelling wars began. He heard the yelling and the names and random numbers being called from the Upper Class trying to claim the prize they wanted. It was now nosier then it was when people were trying to escape.

"Now who wants the handsome Emery?" The crowd was in hysteria when his name was called. He could hear woman yelling from the range one thousand to possibly to five thousand, but then over all rang the three million out burst that came from Mr. Suzuki. For a moment it was like the whole room was in shock that the man had bought someone, something Emery knew he'd never done. "Sold, for three million!" The announcer said as a grown of sad women filled the silence and then the biddings and yelling started once again.

Emery was escorted by a man to the back stage behind a curtain. "You're new owner will come back here to get you at anytime." He was told and then the man left him to go back to the front part of the stage. Taking in a deep breath Emery sat down in a chair filled with happiness that he was bought. To him it was surprisingly quiet behind the curtain, it was more relaxing. With a smile glued to Emery's face he waited for Mr. Suzuki.

Sara-Lin heard glass shatter. Perfect. Everyone looked around, confused. More glass shattered, then all hell broke loose.

People poured in from every opening in the building, carrying weapons. The fake guards let her go and tackled the Upper Class. Sara-Lin saw the only man that stopped at her spot. The yelled out and tackled him. She flipped him over and put her foot on his chest.

"You really thought I was that dumb, to attack you in a room full of guards? You have always thought you were so tough. I could crush your windpipe and kill you right now. But I'm not," Sara-Lin motioned for a fake guard to come over. "Do whatever you'd like with him,"

Sara-Lin walked out of the building.

Emery nodded his head and sped up to catch up with Mr. Suzuki. Emery wasn't use to limos, for he'd never been in one because only the Upper Class had them. Walking faster he did as was instructed and sat down on the edge of the limo seat and then scooted farther within to give his new own space. Looking around the inside it was obviously large than a normal car. Most of the inside was black and shiny like the outside was. In front of Emery were bottles of different types of drinks in a chest of ice and a row of multi-colored glasses. This was honestly the first time he'd ever been in the car, well the first time he could remember. The seat was so soft and comfortable and Emery found himself relaxed on it. Pulling his legs up to his chest he crossed them to make his sitting way much more comfortable.

He was very thirsty and hungry, he hasn't eaten since yesterday morning and was kidnapped before he had the chance to get food and he's kidnappers weren't kind to giving him anything. He began eyeballing the bottles and cups that were taunting him with their liquidy goodness. Emery wasn't for sure if I'd be wrong for him to get it or not. This was he's owners limo most likely and he was now his owners, so didn't that entitle him to be allowed to have some too? His mouth was dry and stomach empty, so he did what he wanted. He glanced over at Mr. Suzuki and then reached for the bottled that was marked water. Pulling it from the ice he opened it and then took a blue glass, pouring the water into the glass he could feel his mouth wanting to water. Closing the bottle securely he put it back into the ice and drank the whole glass within seconds. Looking back over a Mr. Suzuki he frowned. "Sorry," he told him for 1). Getting it without asking and 2). Chugging the whole glass of water, which was rude, "I was very thirsty." Placing the glass back where he got it he realized that had all taken place before Mr. Suzuki had even entered to sit next to him. This was all so new to him and he didn't know how to react. He was use to thinking someone was better than him, but he was hoping he'd get over it with his new life, that he hoped would be go. Emery then gave off a sweet smile of happiness.

Emery

This building was huge and glorious. Emery hadn't been anywhere nice in years and found his new home to be amazing. He was being escorted by the maid to get something different to wear, and he loved the sound of that. He's outfit, well shorts, were not the best things to wear for such a long time and were way to revealing. "This way." The maid told Emery with a bow as she held a door open for him. Emery walked into one of the three bathrooms. "Wash off your face and hair and dry off with one of the yield over there," she said pointing, "and when you're done will get you new clothing." Emery shut the door and walked over to the sink. He turned both of the knobs, getting the right amount of both temperatures he rubbed it over his dirty face and hair, but those weren't the only places with dirt.

When Emery had finished hand bathing himself and dried off he returned to the maid, who lead him to another room with clothing.
"I'll take your measurements real fast and have an outfit picked out for you in no time." Jane had said with a warm out come.

"Is every room this big?" As he asked the girl had taken out a tape measurer and began to measure his legs, hips, torso, chest, and then his shoulders as she mumbled out the numbers.

"About so." She replied as she walked over to a section of collared shirts.

The girl, Jane, rummaged around the shirts pulling out one or two, holding them up to compare, then placing them back where she'd gotten them. "Ha!" She said pulling out a light blue collared shirt made out of light looking fabric. Emery knew a lot of things, but fashion wasn't one, he could dress and look nice and knew some types of fabrics, but it wasn't his best subject. "This would match your eyes so well." She told him without looking at him. Taking the shirt off the hanger she handed it to him and then started looking at some pants and shoes.

Emery took off the coat Doni had lent him and gently place it on a purple cushioned chair next to him. He then put the shirt on, it almost felt like wearing nothing against his skin due to the lightness of the shirt. It was nice, and even though he didn't know much about fashion he could tell it was expensive. "Here." The girl told him as she held out a pair of blue jeans and two black dress shoes with a pair of black ankle socks.

"When you're done just come out into the ha-"

"Do I really need the shoes?" Emery cut her off to say. "Oh, I'm sorry for interrupting, but shoes are pointless indoors."

"Um. Well, most people do, everyone here does." Jane replied kindly.

"A home isn't a home unless you feel relaxed enough to take off your shoes." He chuckled at what he said, but he meant it.

Jane bowed and quietly left the room shutting the door behind her. What Emery had told her he felt was true. He didn't like wearing shoes much, but wearing shoes in his old home would have been off for him and this was now his home. Emery pushed the thoughts of shoes away, set down the pants and shoes to the floor, and finally took off his uncomfortable shorts, leaving him wearing only his briefs and new shirt. Picking up the blue jeans he slid them on to his body, they were a perfect fit. They weren't to big and weren't to tight, they felt nice, but not as good as going panties. Bending over he regained the shoes in his hands and placed them back where Jane had gotten them. Before leaving he picked up Doni's coat, then left the room shutting the door behind him.

"You look much better now." He was told by the maid.

"Thank you," was his reply along with a smile of friendless.

"Where would you like to go now? You can go almost anywhere."

"Wherever Doni is." He told her enthusiastically and took off to the room where he'd seen him last.

"Wait," Jane said grabbing his arm, "this is usually his alone time. Anywhere else?"

With a chuckle Emery gently pulled away, "Wherever he is, is where I want to be."

Continuing his walk down the hall he'd been in he arrived to the room where he'd seen Doni. Knocking on the door twice he then opened it and went over to where Doni was. "Here's your coat back, thank you for letting me borrow it." He told Doni as he stood over him with his arm out with the coat.

This was the largest room in his mansion. He had it custom-made. It's size was about eight times bigger than the other rooms. There were shelves after shelves of books. Mostly literature, science, and history. He didn't let anyone in his study, so it was never cleaned or organized by the maids. Just a bunch of dusty books scattered around or in piles. Everything was hazy. A light cloud of smoke hovered almost every inch of the sofa. This was the room Donatello just sat in and thought. Sometimes it was a place were he was allowed to not think. A place where he could get drunk. But he became so lost in the absence of thinking, he didn't hear the knocking, or the door opening, or the footsteps that echoed though the room. When he saw Emery's blurred figure, He still wasn't thinking. He took his coat and lied on the arm rest. He couldn't think, even though something inside him wanted to yell at Emery he couldn't. But that little demon inside of him let out a few words. "Why are you here?" it wasn't much of a question, more of a demand. He liked the silence of his study, the emptiness. He stood up, kicked the empty vodka bottle aside, and tried to walk to his desk which was covered in piles of papers, leaning on it for support. But no, he slipped and tried to hold on to Emery. Instead He brought him down to. They landed on the sofa. He tried to get up but Emery's weight didn't let him. The alcohol had taken complete control of his body and he kissed him. And after 5 minutes of making out, Donatello fell asleep.Great timing.

Emery

When Doni had started falling Emery had done his best to catch him, but the force of the man was to great and the falling was to sudden for him. He landed on top of Doni. "Sorry." He told him as he was about to get up, but before he did Doni kissed him. Emery was shocked by the kiss, he'd never been kissed before, so this made it his first. Within a few seconds he found himself kissing him back. His lips were warm and soft. In honest Emery didn't want to stop kissing him, it gave him a warm and good feeling inside while they were doing it, but Doni had fallen asleep. With his arms he pushed himself up and sat on the couch and looked over at Doni, It's going to be amazing living here, he thought to himself as he stood up not knowing what to do. Finally deciding what to do he picked him up and walked with him out of the room. For a short time he wondered the halls trying to find Doni's room, until he found Jane cleaning something. "Jane, where's Doni's room?" He had asked and all she did was slightly bow and started walking down the left of the hall. Emery assumed he was suppose to follow her, which he did.

"Right here." She told him as she opened the door for him.

"Thank you." Was his reply as he walked into the room and she shut the door behind him.

Once entering he went start for the bed and laid him down. "You're kinda heavy." He said with a chuckle to the sleeping man. Gently pushing Doni over some Emery sat on the bed next to him and watched him sleep.

In the pit of Emery's stomach he felt bad, he had entered the one room he wasn't suppose to. It wasn't like he did it because he knew he wasn't suppose to, he just wanted to be with Doni, and even though he knew he would have gotten scolded for it he didn't care, he just wanted to be in the same room as him. Emery was a smart boy and knew if Doni hadn't had been drunk things most likely would have been more severe, but instead he was questioned and kissed. Emery had found it cute how Doni had fallen asleep so quickly, it was extremely cute to him. Even though he'd only known Doni for a short time he could see himself falling in love with him.

Emery

He signed what he was suppose to and then turned his attention to Doni. It was clear what ever that call he wasn't to pleased about. Emery had the urge to ask what was wrong, but knew it was better to not. So far Emery had seen two different sides of this man: angers and drunk. For short periods Doni had seemed a little happy, but not enough to count as a whole emotion he was witnessing. Slightly leaning over his body he kissed him sweetly on the lips. "You seemed stressed a lot, just relax." Emery had always been the type that hated to see others upset, and he especially hated to see anger on this mans face. "If there's anything I can do to help you feel better, I will." He told him as he laid back and rolled over to his side to face Doni.

Emery wasn't really a noisy person, but he was the very curious type and he did want to know what the conversation was about. He wondered what name had gotten his new husband in such a fuss, was it a old friend or a family member? Emery did know a lot about Doni, things he had read throughout the years, but he didn't know everything and the things he did know were just work related. Emery had never read a piece of information about Doni's family, which wasn't to important to his work most likely, but Doni's family had never really been mentioned.

The room fell silent for a few minutes until there was another knock at the door and the girl Jane entered. "Dinner's ready." She told them and with a bow shut the door behind her. A pit of relief filled within Emery; he had been starving. Not eating in a while was hard, he'd done it before it wasn't anything to drastic, but he was still famished. With a look of pleasurement he's eyes radiated joy. "You hungry?" He asked Doni calmly even though he was amused with the thought of food. With a few fast thoughts he realized him and Doni really have talked much, they had small conversations of random, but not talked. "Can we talk some before we go eat?" For Emery was hungry, but laying here looking at this man made him happy and the thoughts of food somewhat vanish from his main thoughts. He wasn't sure what the answer would be, but he desperately was happy for a 'yes'. He liked to hear Doni talk to him, he enjoyed his voice greatly.

Donatello didn't know what to say. He just stared at the ceiling. 8 years of silence was hard to break. It was always him alone. "what about?". He'd give it a try.

Jane walked in right after. "Master Suzuki, There's someone at the door".

"If it's the Government, tell them to fuck off"

"No. It's something more..... urgent"

He got up and made way to the front door. And there were a bunch of maids huddled around something. He walked through to see a little girl drenched in blood. Just great. Some poor person probably left it here expecting me to take care of it.

"Put her out of her misery"

"What?!" the maids said in unison.

"Shoot her in the head. Break her neck. Find a guillotine for all I care. Just get rid of it"

One aid cleared her throat to get his attention, "This will only ruin your reputation. Which is already a bit unbalanced."

He sighed. He couldn't care less about what people thought of him, but with the attacks this was safest thing to do. "Clean her up. Call a doctor. And once she's fully healed I'll see about it". He watched as they picked up the girl and ran to bathroom, all at the same time. Like they were a school of fish. He took a moment to look out the door. Who would just put a kid on a doorstep and run. There was a small ruffling sound near the bushes, he stared at it wonder whether he should look or not. He walked outside and looked around not finding anything.

"You don't have to worry anymore!" He yelled hoping that the person was there. "I'll take care of her. I'll try at least. I'm sorry for your troubles, but I assure you she'll be okay"

He walked into his study, lit a cigarette and started massaging his head. He turned his head to the papers on his desk and sighed. "Master Suzuki, we're finished cleaning the girl wounds". He growled, "Go away". So much had happened in the day, he wanted to just shoot himself. He lied down on the couch and began drifting away in the silence.

Emery

With a sigh that was on the thread of Emery being upset from Doni's lack of interest in him, but Emery being Emery he was still happy and wouldn't get unhappy yet. Slowly dragging him out of the bed he walked into the hall. "Did Doni go to his study?" He had asked a random worker and got a 'yes' in response. With the answer Emery balled his hands in fist, hesitate, relaxed, and then kept walking until he found the large door that he was suppose to enter. He had already been in there once even though he wasn't suppose to, but luckily for him Doni had been drunk and didn't get to upset at him for entering. When he had entered he really didn't understand why he wasn't allowed in there, it didn't seem like there was anything to important in thee besides books, but Emery knew that was probably wrong.

Bring a fist to the door he knocked and began speaking in a louder tone so he could be heard. "I'm not sure what's wrong, but when you get mad you just can't go to your little fortress or solitude anymore." In the back of his mind he probably he was saying all the wrong things, but he didn't like being left like he had been. "I mean, when you're upset it's best to talk about your feelings. I don't understand why someone being at your door made you so I mad! When I was younger I use to help my mom take care of injured people all the time, helping people is fun. Like you choosing me helped me out a lot," taking a small pause he had to think about his next words he wanted to say, but wasn't sure if he should, "like meeting you helped me. Like..." Emery was very unsure how to finish his sentences, there was one thousand hundred things he could say in this scene, but choose known. "So, if you're ever upset just talk to someone about it instead getting mad," he let a small chuckle of pleasure and unsureness slip past his lips, "you could come to me, I'm a very good listener."

He knocked on the door again, hoping that Doni had gotten the message from his small speech instead of more stress. Harshly sighing he gave up the hope of the door opening so he opened the door himself without stepping in, technically he wasn't entering the room like he was suppose to. Looking he saw Doni laying on his couch, all alone. He knew Doni wasn't lazy, but why did he like to be alone so much? Emery began laughing, "You're a strange man." He told him as he watched the cigarette smoke create small clouds. Emery wanted to walk in the room and sit with him, but he didn't feel like getting yelled at. "Why do you like being alone so much... it's so lonely." Emery had always had a fear of being alone, he found it creepy to not have someone with him.

"It's so lonely"

"Spend eight years of it, you'll get used to it".He let out another cloud of smoke. "Haven't I helped people enough. But no. Always so selfish. You help decrease death. Then they want you to cure it completely. then they want everyone to live the same amount of years. Now someone drops a child in my door step, because they can't take care of it themselves. Expecting me to help. Haven't I done enough. No one cares what I want. It's all for the greater good they say. Bullshit".

Donatello looked up to see Emery, his patience was wearing thin. Usually he'd throw something at anyone who came in his study, but this was Emery. Too delicate. He was going to have to get used to having company. He stood up and walked to his desk. Old photographs scattered around it. Anger filled him and he push them off, and flipped the desk over. He walked out of the room to Emery and looked straight into his eyes. "Why doesn't anyone simply expect the fact we are to die. Death is as natural as life. So why doesn't everyone stop trying to run away from what's inevitable". He smirked, "It doesn't matter if I talk about this to anyone. It's not going to change anything. The rumors won't stop. Have you ever heard of what they say?".

He looked to his right to see one of the workers trying to get his attention. "The child is speaking". Donatello looked back at Emery with a fake smile and gave him a kiss, before calmly walking to where the worker was leading him.

Once he saw the girl, he noticed she looked familiar. Now he wasn't the type to ever be found near children, but the girl's face didn't feel right. He cleared his throat and went right in front of her looking down, he asked. "Now what's a little thing like you doing near a gunfight?"

Meredith looked at the man in front of her. "I don't remember," Meredith lied. She looked at the man. "Who are you?"

"Wendy" sat in the waiting room, when her vice leader came through the door. "How's it going with your leg. By the way, Dr. Matthews did a great job on your face. You still look like Meredith, but don't look like yourself," He said. "When are you going to pick her up?" He asked. "To be honest, I don't know. I'm going to tell them some nut job kidnapped her and shot her, and probably left her on the doorstep. It sounds shady, but it's a story," "Wendy" sighed. "I've gone by a lot of names, not knowing my real one, but Sara-Lin is my favorite. I've been Mia, Lisa, Shirley, Amelia and Cassidy, but I liked Sara-Lin the best," "Wendy" sighed. "I'll pick Meredith up in two days,"

Meredith leaned forward and closed her eyes. She folded her hands together. She needed to pray. She prayed for awhile, before a voice asked, "What you praying about?" Without hesitating, Meredith answered. "Everything,"
