"The pain in my body overwhelms the pain in my heart. Sometimes."
She has countless rings along the curve of both her ears, two sterling studs in the dip of her collar bones and another two below and above her navel.
She has the sun tattooed on the back of her neck, just below her hairline, and a dozen sets of various blades from medieval swords to modern daggers shaped like intricate butterfly wings unfurl from the centre of her spine to curve over her shoulders and brush the edges of her hip bones, covering nearly her entire back.
She has the cycle of day and night - from the rising sun to its peak, from the descending light to the creeping moon and so on, repeated over and over, curling around and around her left ankle from her feet. The cycle stops on the evening of the third day. One phase of the sky for each loved one she's lost. On her right leg is a similar spiral of the sun and moon, remembering each person she's killed. She isn't proud of it, but she feels she deserves to feel at the very least, the guilt, when they lost their lives and their families lost the ones they loved.
Eve has Shakespeare's words, "Hell is empty and all the devils are here," tattooed on the inside of her left wrist. On her right, "Go hard or go home." Extending from the studs at her collarbones are two black ravens, the sterling studs being their eyes.
Physical Description
"It matters less what you look like than what you do with yourself."
Take away her tattoos and multitude of piercings and you would have a fragile, porcelain doll. Eve has very delicate features, each dip and stain of colour like a carefully pieced together figurine. Her naturally full, crimson lips rests against the silk of her milky white skin. Her large, feline eyes are an odd combination of otherworldly colours, the left a piercing and sharp citrine and her right a dark blood red, as blind as it is eerie.
Her long ginger waves ripple like a waterfall down her back, their colour scattered by strands of gold, pink and vivid red. Eve's body is long and willowy, almost boy like with its muscles had it not been for her generous chest and full hips. Her smooth skin is lined with countless swirls and lines of ink. Years of ballet have taught her to move with a quiet elegance, keeping to the edges, the corners and shadows to avoid drawing attention to herself.

Eve's greatest strength lies in her swordsmanship but it is easy to kill with the sword even if you don't mean to so she favours a lipstick she uses her power to transform into a whip instead. She only uses weapons when absolutely necessary, preferring to not leave any permanent damage on her victims. She's also skilled in firearms, particularly handheld machine guns and submachine guns. She also carries an assortment of knives she mostly uses to pick locks.
Eve doesn't quite need to carry weapons as she is able to create most basic weapons like bows and arrows out of the matter she is able to manipulate with her powers. Most of the time she keeps her weapons beneath her skin using her powers.
Powers
(Only two at most)"comment from character"
Asterokinesis - Eve is able to manipulate the energy generated by stars as well as their electromagnetic, gravity and radiation energy. She is able to perform an unusual type of photosynthesis whereby she can absorb and manipulate energy generated by stars, quasars and dark matter. Her powers range from generating stellar winds, solar flares, cosmic storms and invoking meteor showers to turning into a human torch and directing fire from the sun. She's supremely powerful outdoors but indoors, she runs on a battery. Her powers originate from the galaxy and if she is ever trapped in a room with no windows and holes outside for extended periods of time, she will have no supply of power besides what she has stored. Unless, of course, she uses her own life force.
State transfer - Simply put, she is able to turn art into reality and vice versa. She cannot, however, manipulate living organisms. She can "transfer" plants to an extent but she cannot, for example, pull a tree out of her spine. Her artworks must be the size they appear in reality and it only works with inanimate objects. It is most effective for storing and withdrawing weaponry. When transferring a real object onto another surface, it will stay its real size. The more complex an object, the harder it is to manipulate. When trying to create an object, she must draw or paint it in amazing detail, right down to the little kinks in it or the curve of its shadow. The more well drawn an object, the better it will appear in reality. She herself does not have to create the art. Eve cannot give life, she can only transfer the state in which the object is in from 3D to 2D and vice versa. The objects she creates are not infinite and after a period of time they return to the state in which they once were. She can, however, indefinitely keep an object within a surface as displayed by her tattoos.
Personality
"What separates the brave from the cowardly is what they choose to do with that fear."
Eve is the one of or not the most driven, stubborn and determined people on earth. She has dedicated her life and death to one cause: freeing the world from the Primes and ridding it of the disease that ravaged the nation of Misato, Colourless. It is the reason she wakes up or stays up, the reason she breathes, fights and lives. If she were ever to let it go or fail, she would be as good as useless.
She doesn't live for herself because there is no her left to live for. Evening died along with the rest of her loved ones when they did. Purple is the only family she has left and she isn't about to let him go. Yet she knows there're bigger things in the world than those she cares most about. One cannot afford to be selfish in this war and many people - especially those who do not know her well - think her to selfless to the point of ruthless. She will sacrifice lives for the greater good. At least, for the goal of the Colours which she believes to be good. When she believes in something, she feels it strongly and she is impossible to deter.
Eve prefers to keep to herself, that way she can stay more or less objective when it comes to saving the world. Besides, she doesn't have the time to chit chat and bond so she leaves organism communication to Hei Eos. That isn't to say she isn't a good leader, however. She's undoubtedly an inspirational and motivational leader that some respect. She's just never around, preferring fieldwork to commanding others and planning behind a desk unless it's a vital battle.
Despite her stubborn, unmoving determination and sarcasm, she's an incredibly caring and compassionate person. Although she maintains the facade of being unapproachable, cold and even heartless, she is remarkably kind and gentle although she no doubt does what needs to be done. That isn't to say she doesn't feel the guilt, she simply understands there're bigger things, more important goals and worries than her morality at stake.
Once upon a time, she was outspoken, reckless, rude, lazy and simply put, had no particular reason for living. That all changed when she met Eien and he took away the one thing - or rather, person - she lived for. She lives to carry on the legacy of the one she lost. She's not entirely successful in trying to be him. She isn't as kind as Hei, as optimistic as Shounen, as outgoing as Elysia, as calm as Kanaede or as patient as Kacey. Perhaps what she best represents is the resilience of mankind.
"I don't have time for petty relationships when the world is ending."
Once upon a time, she loved - still loves - someone more than life itself. She lived for him, giving him every last drop of herself. So perhaps her heart died along with him.

History
"Buddha believed life was a never-ending wheel of pain. Maybe I should convert."
Born in a small village in the area that is now Kana, she and her family didn't have much. Her parents, however, were infinitely loving and she was happy climbing trees and racing down hills. Her mother was a dancer who'd performed in front of King Kato himself. It was said she was so beautiful in her youth that even the King fell in love with her but she rejected him for Eve's father, a simple farmer. They had a dog named Snowy whom she loved dearly. Eve was a playful and cheeky child but her world came to a nauseating halt when she found the mutilated corpses of both her parents whens she was 6 years old. To this day, their murder has not been solved.
She spent some years in the orphanage until a couple from what is now Alcor adopted her. It was after her parents' death that she started calling herself "Eve" instead of "Evening" because that was what her parents always used to call her, their beautiful Evening, their precious Evening, their dearest Evening, to represent when the two first met. She was distant and although her adoptive parents initially attempted to coerce the angrily silent child out of her pit of death, they eventually gave up.
When she was 12, she gained entrance through a scholarship for gifted children to the capital of then Misato, now Seele. She was never a hard worker, in fact, she was possibly one of the laziest people alive, but she was absurdly, abnormally, undoubtedly and easily the smartest child in her year level. When she first entered the day and boarding school, she was teased and bullied relentlessly, for being a soulless redheaded minority, an orphan and a poor one at that. She didn't have a penny on her. Her uniform was secondhand, her casual clothes a patchwork of what she sewed herself and hand-me-downs.
A few months into school, she was, as per usual, being taunted and shoved around but this time, they snatched her schoolbag and pushed her so hard, she tumbled down the stairs and twisted her wrist and ankle. Then, she met her knight in shining armour who would become her dearest friend and confidant.
She watched in awe Shounen Misumi, delinquent and Mr Popular, yelled and lunged at her abusers, receiving injuries himself. When her enemies had scattered, he'd knelt down to help her to her feet. She, being the quiet black hole of rage and pride, slapped his hand away with a "I didn't ask for your help."
That day marked the beginning of their rocky, strange and unusual friendship. The school was shocked to see the two, so different in their status and personalities, spend time together. Or rather, as she liked to recall it, him stalking, she ignoring. He tried, relentlessly, to coax her out of her shell but she'd apparently decided she hated him. She was especially cruel to him, countering every attempt at conversation with a snippy, sarcastic remark.
No special day marked when they eventually became... Friends? Bickering siblings? But soon they were hanging out together every lunchtime, after school, him looking and grinning at her every time they passed each other in the hallway and her repressing a smile and turning it into a scowl. He called her "tsundere," she punched him in the face. It was a lovely friendship. She even met his family and everybody told them how cute and inseparable they were, so she started replying that he was her slave and dog, and not a friend.
She'd always been a big eater and he would always warn her on her shocking calorie intake, stating that she was a girl and should be thin and worried about her weight, and in response, she began her ritual of stealing all his food and devouring it all.
When, one day, a stunning blonde beauty strutted about and bled the noses of men, she told the pretty girl, "Nice dress, Shou." She was the only one who could tell it was him, even when no one else could. After all, he did make a very convincing female.
The weeks leading to his birthday, she hunted high and low, saving every penny she didn't have to buy him a doll that was Mayu. She gave it to him with a, "I saw this lying somewhere and thought 'that idiot Shou would probably like something this childish.'" This was after she'd snuck into his bedroom in the middle of the night for the first time, climbing under his blankets and curling against his body after another nightmare plagued her dreams. She'd clutched him for dear life and for the first time in years, wept and mourned the deaths of her parents and her precious dog who died with them.
Having danced since she could stand, she continued to all through middle school and high school. It was when she was 16, her previously scrawny frame now becoming slim and elegant, twirling and leaping, that she heard the echoes of a beautifully played piano. She'd crept to the door and watched as a young man played the familiar tune.
"You can come in, you know," he'd said abruptly and she'd jumped in surprise. "I promise I don't bite," he'd said when he'd turned in his chair, revealing two rows of gleaming white teeth and the most stunning smile she'd seen in her life. She was never one for cheesy, cliched love stories, but truly, it was love at first sight. When their eyes met, his grin faltered and they stared for what felt like an infinity. She remembered, then, that he'd seen him before. Of course she had. He was Shou's best friend but they'd never been in the same place at the right time, always missing each other by a fraction of a second despite both being so close to Shounen.
"Jin," she found his name.
"Eve," Jin had whispered in reply.
Her hours with Shou grew shorter.
They spent everyday together, watching the sun that revealed the gold in his name and the evening in hers set and rise. She loved Shou but there with Jin, in every breath and gentle whisper, every brush of their lips and grasping of hands, was a love she'd never known.
A year later when Colourless ravaged the lands, they disappeared. Without a word to either of their siblings, to Hei or Shou, they left.
Jin had always been empathetic but he'd found that he could go as far as manipulate emotions and from his body were invisible changes, as if walls and spheres of electricity leapt from his skin. He was as terrified as Eve was horrified when she realised what she first thought was a need for prescription lenses, was her right eye slowly but surely becoming entirely blind. It was as if blood had invaded her right iris, washing away the pure citrine and replacing it with an eerie crimson. Her body reached impossibly high temperatures, as if she'd become a magnet for the sun's heat.
When Jin and Eve touched, they were jerked apart by his electricity and her fire. They could no longer stand within a meter of each other.
They found others like themselves throughout the kingdom and they called themselves Colours, survivors of the Colourless. They taught each other to control their powers and sought to protect those who were ridiculed for surviving Colourless. Jin hoped to free the world of tyranny, to eradicate the borders that restricted and divided the kingdom.
One unlucky night, Jin, leading his pact of Colours with Eve, had been searching the edges of the kingdom. One of the Colours approached a young man with a question and was swiftly killed. The man tore through each survivor like a virus in a program. It was barely a struggle. Jin, using his powers of energy projection, formed a shield around the last three remaining survivors of his team - including Eve - and put up the fight of his life against the killer, Eien.
Eve had shoved against the shield, struggling to protect everything that mattered to her but the two members of her group held her back. "He's lost whether we help him or not, Eve," they'd said. "We have to go. We have to run."
Eve watched, horrified and helpless, as the darkness engulfed the love of her life, and devoured the light in his eyes. She watched as horror she'd never known, not even when she found the corpses of her parents, gripped her and Jin's limp body crumpled to the ground. Her fingers were pressed so hard against the shield that her knuckles turned white and her fingers purple. She heard a horrible wailing, like an animal slowly being slaughtered, and realised it was her own deafening scream.
Then the shield shattered.
One. Two. And the survivors on either side of her were dead.
Eien turned away and she asked, her voice stony and quiet, a sick contrast to the avalanche in her mind, asked, "Aren't you going to kill me too?"
"They were useless garbage and one even dared to touch me. You, I just don't want to waste my time," he replied and before she could gather her actions, her thoughts and her words, he was gone.
Eve had clutched Jin's ruined body to her heart for a long, long time.
Eve told Hei her brother was dead and together, they gathered Colours, Hei being the face and she being the sky without a face that no one could touch. She tossed aside her name and became Red instead, the faceless leader of the Colours who was simply that, just a Colour and whatever you wanted to or needed to believe in. She watched Shou from afar, and let him believe the Eve he loved never came back.
It wasn't a lie.
Red sees everything and everyone. Except Eien. Red watches the Primes, urges and feeds the rebellions, gathers the allies and wrecks hell on the system the Primes have created.
The Primes are watching your every move, and Red is watching them.
But Eien remains untouched.

"Some secrets are kept for your own good."
It's the first day of spring
And my life is starting over again
Well the trees grow, the river flows
And it's water will wash away my sin
For I do believe that everyone
Has one chance to fuck up their lives
Like a cut down tree I will rise again
And I'll be bigger and stronger than ever before
For I'm still here hoping that one day you may come back
For I'm still here hoping that one day you may come back
There is hope in every new seed
And every flower that grows upon the earth
And though I love you and you know that
Well, I no longer know what that's worth
But I'll come back to you in a year or so
And I'll rebuild, be ready to become
Oh, the person you believed in
Oh, the person that you used to love
For I'm still here hoping that one day you may come back
For I'm still here hoping that one day you may come back
