The largest of events in Serena's history was the death of her best friend that has the effect to haunt her to this day. They were only 8 at the time and Serena can remember it all too vividly. While playing on the cliffs, which were their "special hideout", she slipped from the edge and at the bottom lay the crumpled lifeless corpse of her first friend. All Serena did was flee and to this day avoids association with the accident.
She considered becoming a psychologist or youth worker as a career but found even in school subjects, it stirred too many emotions for her to bare.
