Ash tilted her head to the side, "Alright...But you have to remember not to harm the messenger in any way." She replied, brushing golden hair out of her eyes. He's so not going to be smiling when he hears this. Ash thought, making as face as she looked at him.
"I'm pregnant." The words slipped out of her mouth before she could think about them too much, which was probably good, because Ash might've found a way to make that really long and awkward. Her weird expression stayed on her face as she watched Daniel's face for any signs of his reaction. She honestly never thought she was going to say those words...And always thought that if she did, they would be a joke. Sadly, this was no joke.

Aaron rushed towards the doors of the school as soon he he could manage to get out of class, get his books, and go. The nurse had made it clear while she was looking over his nosebleed that he was not to by any means play sports for the rest of the day. Aaron had suggested that she tell that to his coach, he was assured that the soccer coach would be informed that he could play the next day, which would mean double drills for Aaron. It would also mean that coach would try his hardest to not only embarrass, but humiliate him in every way.
He grinned slightly, at least he wasn't going to be the one to have to tell coach. That would be a nightmare. He shook his head, at least he had more time to get his homework done. That was a plus of going to the nurse's office and to think, he never would have gone if Georgie hadn't forced him to. He chuckled slightly, what had happened was slightly funny, though it made him feel bad to think of it that way, it was his fault for running into the pole. He shook his head as he stepped through the doors, noticing Ellie and her loud-ish car. He waved only slightly awkwardly as he walked past, realizing then that he hadn't seen her all day. Though he was glad that she hadn't seen the ultimate level of uncoolness that was him running into a pole, because then he would live out his life under a paper bag for sure.

Partial days of school annoyed the crap out of Craig. If there was going to be school than they should just go to a full day and actually get something accomplished, all half days did was make people think about the fact that school was getting out early and therefore classes were pointless. After the bell rang Craig made a point of going to each of his teachers to get any assignments they wanted done in the next month. Most of the time teachers only gave out what they wanted to give out, when they wanted to give it out, but Craig had made a reputation at this school so the teachers generally had a packet ready for him at the start of every month.
This was how he got a work out during the school year, lugging his backpack around all the time, but it got in the way when he tried to catch up with people after school. Today was worse than normal because of the partial day. While he had been getting his assignments all of his friends had been running out the front doors in a stupid hope for it to still be summer. By the time he got out the doors Georgie was almost to the parking lot already, which didn't surprise him when he saw Ellie parked out front of the school, and her head probably hurt still so she wanted to get home. "I'll call her when I get home," Craig thought, not paying attention to where he was walking. "That should give her enough time to get home and put all her stuff down. She'll probably want to go over audition stuff tonight..." Due to his lack of attention he almost ran into Aaron.
"That was close," Craig said, trying not to laugh. "Probably wouldn't do you a whole lot of good to fall down the stairs after beating up the building earlier." Slugging Aaron, very lightly, in the shoulder Craig kept walking out to the parking lot.

Daniel's smile didn't fade but on the inside he could feel himself screaming. He laughed and leaned back in his seat. He was unusually calm and he was look at the window. He was staring at his reflection and he was unsure how to feel. He couldn't believe that she had said those words to him. He had the money to take care of a baby, that wasn't the issue. When he looked at himself he only saw an upset and unstable man. He wasn't ready to take care of a kid. He didn't want his child to grow up and hate him like he hated his own parents. Many people don't see him upset too often but when he is upset he runs away. He goes to a different country for a couple of days or weeks. The first time he left home he ran off to Paris. Of course he was staying in their summer home. His parents came to get him but he refused to leave.
"Why are you doing this to us Daniel?" His mother sobbed.
"I'm sick of you both! I don't have a life anywhere...I don't want to have anything to do with you."
"Then don't come home." His father with a stiff face stated. "We will send you money to help you out, you will keep the Paris summer home. But don't come running back to us."
It's not that he didn't have money, He was afraid karma would come back and hit him hard. He stayed faced towards the mirror. Face blank, with no expression. He just studied his reflection. "I'm not upset with you." He figured he should let her know she was the one carrying the child so it would be harder on her. She needed support. "I'm not going to leave you alone during the process. How far along is the baby?"

Ash just stared at him for a long time, not quite understanding him, "I'm waiting for you to start freaking out. I'm freaking out. Why am I the only one seriously freaked?" She asked, looking around like she wanted to walk away.
"This makes no sense, honestly.." Ash sighed, touching her head like she had a headache.
Mistake, mistake, mistake... Wasn't that what she was called when she was a kid? Ash suddenly felt guilty.
Finally, she answered Daniel's question, "Not long at all. Don't ask me, Daniel, probably two weeks. I'm not a genius." She mumbled, more upset now that she told him.
