After pacing back and forth in the hallway, sitting on the ground clutching her head, and silently fighting with herself to not go after KK, she went after him. Silly decision, she scolded herself, trying not to think about how she was going to deal with not being around him when it hurt her head so badly. Though she was able to brush the thought aside quickly, deciding to deal with it when that came along. For now they were just at the school, and it wasn't that terrible for her to be tagging along a bit.
Deciding that the birds were probably reading a book, or at least sitting somewhere, she headed off towards the books area. If KK was any kind of smart he probably would have made the same decision. Her thoughts were confirmed when she saw him, and she made her way to his side again. "Are you sure they're in here?"

"Psh, you wouldn't be able to force me." Quickly, she stuck her tongue out at him before laughing. Though his next words stopped that, and a smirk pulled at her lips. "I only like you because you're cute, duh." Returning his wink, she recrossed her arms over her chest and tried not to laugh.

Her comment threw him off for a moment, and he had to think for a bit before replying. "I am desperately hoping that is a joke. Please tell me that that was a joke." He was never comfortable with these things, and had never had a girl give him such a compliment before.

Her smirk broke into a grin, and she couldn't help but throw her head back and laugh. "Oh my gosh, really? I'm surprised you're not blushing." For a moment she felt like moving closer, and she even seemed to lean forward a bit, but she stopped herself. "It really was not a joke," She shrugged.

He looked down and took a half step away. "Thank you..." He said awkwardly. "I-I find you quite pretty as well." This had taken an unforeseen turn, and he had no idea how to handle it. Also, it made him wonder what kind of girl would take a stranger home, cook for him and tell him she thought he was cute. It was rather strange.

Though she blushed, she continued to pretend that she didn't. But noticing that he'd gone quite awkward, she sighed and frowned slightly. "Still want to be here?, or are you wanting to go home now?" Okay, so maybe that was rude. She obviously didn't want him to leave. It was just her being stubborn, like usual.

At her last words, a deep fury rose up in him, "Is that what you were trying to do?" He glared at her, his voice calm, but seething with anger, "You don't want me here, so you put me in an uncomfortable situation in hopes I'll leave? I was wondering why you kept asking. If you really don't want me here, say so. Just quit messing with my emotions like I'm a toy."

Erin was slightly taken aback at the sudden change in his attitude. Taking a shaky breath, she stepped back towards the table and sunk down into one of the chairs, crossing her arms and refusing to look at him. "I didn't mean to put you in an uncomfortable position." She said slowly, trying to stay calm. "I honestly think you're cute- handsome. And I don't want you to leave."

"That isn't my fault!" At this point she was shaking, like her own arms wrapped around her were the only things keeping her together. She would never admit it though. "I'm just not good with people..." When she heard footsteps she assumed he was walking away, which left her rather surprised when she felt him beside her. Her eyes found his and she tried not to blush, ending up taking her bottom lip between her teeth and holding tighter to herself. "Thank you."

Erin shook her head, looking up at him with a small smile. "I'm sorry, I'm being silly," she rolled her eyes before sniffling, completely aware of his hand on her shoulder. "C'mon, let's do something. Anything. I'm bored," the girl teased.
Snow nodded slowly, eyeing the two birds before glancing back to KK. The boy had taken a book from the shelf and before she could even open her mouth to ask him what he was doing, the boy was walking off towards the birds again. Her eyes went a bit wide and she stood staring at his back for a moment. Should she follow him? What if the firebirds didn't want them there? Why did he have to be so... boyish, just marching over to them. They were probably talking or something! Without thinking, Snow quickly went after him, only slowing until she was a step behind him.
