Introduction
A group of friend begins receiving strange and ominous visions along with a small leather bound book. After months of various visions, strange occurrences, and studying of the book, the group comes to a conclusion to what it all means; The world will end and their only chance of survival is finding and freeing a savior. At first, most of the group denies it, believing it to be completely random occurrences. As the visions continue, more often and more extreme, the group investigates farther until they finally begin to believe that what they concluded at first was right. The group would dive deeper and deeper into the 'prophecy' until they see a man who fits their visions. Believing that this man would be their savior they would kidnap him. Purchasing a home with their combined funds, they would stay their with the so called 'savior', cutting all ties as they pushed the man to prove them right, to save them from the end. Despite what the members of the group believe, they are no where near prepared for the war that will follow.
This role-play will focus on the various members of the small group, their friendships and romances, along with the truth behind the savior as he begins to learn who he truly is.
The actions of the characters, the sate of the savior, and the time it take to fine the truth will all factor into who lives, who dies, and what becomes of the world and its inhabitants.
Characters
When submitting your character please include a photograph of the character along with a short bio. When entering a character, make sure the character name is his or her first name alone, leave the last name for the actual profile.
*There can be multiple characters that fall into this category. (Meaning there can be more than one extremist, follower, ect)
#This character can be either male or female.
Characters that we need filled the most.
Characters we need who take the most commitment.
I may allow characters that do not fall into any of these categories once the important ones fill up
The Savior: A seventeen-year-old boy who lost both his parents at a young age. The group kidnaps him in an attempt to save themselves from the end. He is strong-willed and refuses to co-operate with the group, acting out violently against the members of the group and taking any chance he can to escape.
The Leader: She leads the group in her escapades and believes in the prophecy deeply. She is level-headed and kind but she does what she must to make sure the group succeeds in their task, sometimes acting out of character to make sure that everything goes off without a hitch. She is protective over the savior, spending nearly all her time with him, but may allow things that hurt him and put his health in jeopardy.
The Impostor: He does not believe in the prophecy at all. He has only followed the group because he has feelings for the leader and has joined in an attempt to win her over. He dislikes the savior and the attention the leader gives him, leading to him treating the savior badly and taking any attempts that he can to hurt or kill the boy. #
*The Moralist: She believes in the prophecy deeply but refuses to sacrifice many of her morals for it. She is strong and quick to interject, pointing out when something is wrong. She believes in the savior but refuses to do a lot if it seems immoral.
*The Romantic/ The Rebel: She believes in the prophecy but cares more for the savior himself. She is hard headed, commanding, and generally angry. She treats the other members of the group rather badly even though she cares for them. She begins to care for the savior as a person not a means to an end, defending him wildly from the other members of the group. She spends the most time with the savior, attempting to make him comfortable and calm him down when he is upset. She is one of the few that doesn’t fall for his tantrums, either trying to calm him down or just telling him to shut up. She refuses to allow the group to do anything that may hurt the savior.
*The Follower: He believes in the prophecy more than most but does not have the ability to interpreter it himself/herself. He will blindly follow whatever the leader tells him to do as he fears what would happen if he didn’t. He is meek and quite. He doesn’t share any feeling for the savior other than those of the leader. #
*The Inquisitor: He believes in the prophecy deeply and is willing to hurt and torture the savior for answers. He spends most of his time examining the savior and running various tests on him. He is dead set on finding the truth behind the savior, not caring at all for who he hurts. He would let the savior die if it meant he could find the truth. #
*The Friend: She believes in the prophecy enough to stay with the group. She grows close to the savior and treats him as a friend, caring for him and his well being but still refusing to free the man. It is unclear if she would choose being saved or the life of the savior. #
The Extortionist: He is only here as the group paid him to stay silent. He doesn’t care about the prophecy at all, believing they are all insane. He uses his power over the people to force them into things they normally wouldn't, using the kidnapped boy as leverage. He will not release the savior, as it would mean that he would not be paid. #
*The Extremist: He believes the most in the prophecy. He will do anything and sacrifice anyone if he believes the prophecy asks for it. He lives and acts by the book, word by word. He is extremely violent and fanatic about the writings. He would readily sacrifice the savior. #
The Citizen: He is a police officer that stumbles upon the happenings of the group. He remains quiet as what they tell him of the prophecy seems to make sense. He uses the greater good to justify what they are doing to the boy and uses his position to avoid suspicion. He cares more for the greater good then the savior, readily sacrificial him if it meant others would live.
The Tempter: He believes in the prophecy but he twists and turns the meanings of the book and the visions to get the members of the group to do what he wishes. He is highly trusted and his word has weight, usually making or breaking a decision. He is often turned to for answers. Is is uncertain if he would kill the savior. #
The Visionary: He doesn't have a opinion on the prophecy, he simply receives the most visions and portrays to the group the different passages of the book as they appear. He is hardly ever seen, spending most of his time on the roof of the home as he believes it makes his visions clearer. He would have nothing to do with the saving or killing of the Savior.
*The Others: They are the driving force behind the 'end', these characters may or may not be introduced depending on the character's actions. If you are interested, please let me know and ill send you the details.

After checking with me on this topic, please submit a bio for the character you chose using the 'Characters' tab.
Also, please submit an approximate schedule along with your timezone. We may be having scheduled chat sessions for the faster paced scenes in combination with longer forum posts for the slower moving / more critical scenes.
Last note, i'll be needing a Co-GM. If you are interested, please contact me and let me know. Id prefer if the CO-GM be reserved for someone playing a pivotal character (The Leader, Impostor, Extremist, Lawful, ect)

Re: [OOC] Convictions of the Faithful
We may have to end up having people play multiple characters, but i dont really mind it. If anything, i prefer it. Less writers means better collaboration. If you could take either a Romantic or a Extremist as well, it would be greatly appreciated. Lets wait and see what other characters people show interest in before we choose.
For now, ill reserve you the Leader.
