"Well now, we simply can't let those poor defenseless animals be manipulated by that vulger little girl now can we? It simply won't do," said Ivory girlishly before changing to a more suggestive tone, "Besides, if anyone's going to do any domination around here then it's going to be me."
Smiling seductively at the gingerbread head she set about searching the folds of her dress.
"Oh my, how very forward of you," she said, "We've barely met and you're already asking me for a little sugar. I don't even know your name. What would my mother think of me?"
At last she found it, the toffee apple that Argilla had given her on the way to the forest, it was so sweet how each member of Seven always tried to gain her favour. Apples were her favorite and having them candied made them even better, she had been saving it but perhaps it would prove to be more useful for her new...friend. He'd certainly be more entertaining if he had his entire body rather than just a head.
"Do you think this will do?" she asked, tracing a finger down his cheeks and showing him the apple, "You know, there's a lot of symbolism behind the sharing of an apple, people might begin to talk about us."
Inwardly I vory smiled to herself. She hadn't even begun fighting and she was already having fun. Certainly her gingerbread companion was proving to be a fortunate discovery indeed.
All that remains of a once beautiful land. The Fairy Woods are now the battlegrounds between Good & Evil. Will you fight to protect the remains of a once peaceful Fantasia?
Ivory had been watching the battle for a while and still hadn't decided on who to fight for when something came flying out of the fray to land at her feet.
It was a head but not like any she had ever seen before. This one appeared to be made out of gingerbread and was talking to her.
"Which side am I on?" she repeated flatly, picking up the head and placing it in her lap, "I hadn't decided, shall I leave it to a toss of the coin?"
She sat silently for a moment, pondering the situation, brushing crumbs off the face of the gingerbread head and gazing into its molten eyes.
"Actually, I don't think I'm going to need that coin," whispered Ivory with a slight smile, "I have to say, you're very peculiar and I find that fascinating. Never have I seen eyes like yours, they're quite stunning. Just let me know how I can help, I'll be more than happy to cause a little mayhem."
She didn't know if the gingerbread head fought for good or for evil, she didn't even care which side of the battle it was fighting on. All she knew was that she found it interesting and helping the head out would certainly provide a rush.
"You may call me Ivory," she said, her smile darkening, "Better known as Snow White, now who needs to be dealt a little death?"
"I have no intention of getting near darling.." the mistress' voice floated idly into the suddenly hyperactive scene, and she lifted a slender hand with a bent wrist in invitation for Thumbelina to find a perch. "And do stop flitting about, it's terribly distracting.." Aurora, despite appearances to the contrary, was rather moved by the concern of the tiny thing for her safety, as she tended to be with anything that made her the center of attention. "I'll need somewhere quiet, and away from the chaos of engagement to see clearly.." In the event that they had not yet come to be aware of her gift she'd qualify without vanity. " If you get me close enough, I may be able to see their intended course of action in attack plan. But it will be useless without muscle on the front line, and a way to communicate what I've seen to those agents."
The woman's amber gaze drifted to the place where the siblings sat, before murmuring again to the fairy. "They are coming..fear not. The thrill of the hunt runs too deep for such a pair, to be denied." Aurora stood to her feet. "We'll get no further sitting around and talking about it..And every minute we delay the situation becomes more dire." Her gaze flickered Hansel and Gretel's way. "If you both are quite done in taking comfort from each other..it seems we have a mission to complete."
The sweep of her body toward the entrance of the headquarters would be their only warning that she was prepared to go, and few might be attentive enough the see the slight glaze to her golden gaze as she sought with her ability, to see that place which could be the perfect base of her operation.
Resting her hands upon the table, the blonde slid from her chair as the Queen concluded the meeting and started for the doors of the War Room. Her blue dress bounced along with her fat, golden curls. She resembled a little girl, but she was much older than she appeared. She stopped when she heard the low voice of The Frog Prince, it sounded like two stones grinding against each other. Her sapphire eyes rolled like two orbs to the corners of her eyes as she turned one over her shoulder to regard the putrid creature seated like a stinking bridge-troll upon the table. His title as a prince was the only thing she would agree with. A prince of frogs and toads and nothing more seemed to suit his status.
βAnd frogs should remain in the bog, not trouncing around claiming to be princes,β Goldilocks retorted sweetly in her child-like voice.
If the frog prince had brows in his frog form, they would be furrowed as he still managed to retain his smug smile.
βThe rebellion is nothing but a game. My pets have bitten the hand that feeds, and they will now be punished.β
Goldilocks marched past Peep without a word. What was the servant going on about? Did she think she was participating in the battle? The Queen had not commanded her to go.
Frosch watched Goldilocks leave and then arched a froggy brow at Peep. βWhat use is a chambermaid in a battle? The scum around my pool needs to be scrubbed.β
The Frog Prince hopped down from the table and with his amphibian servants springing behind him and took his leave. He uttered a deep croak and yawn. A nap was in order.
