He supposed sooner or later, he may as well accept his fate here, as the so called 'Resistance' was futile. There was no saving humanity from this catastrophe, and there certainly wasn't any hope for him.
His blonde hair had grown wild over the past few... weeks? months??? He no longer had a concept of time. Within these walls, within the clutches of these creatures, tme was irrelevant, and seemed to blur. He stretched and yawned, rubbing his eyes, trying to rejuvinate his tired body. It was of no use, but nothing could be done. As stated, he really should have been awake quite a while ago. He was already risking his neck enough... quite literally!
Slowly, he rose and moved towards the door, heading out into the hallway, looking eagerly for some chore to occupy himself with.

"Hey, there, humans! Don't just stand there and watch! No, don't even try helping me and run," said the man with the white hair. Edan shrugged. "Kay," he said, walking off. Cable followed behind him at the same pace. Jerry rushed past, trying to get as far away as possible. As soon as they were out of view, Edan lit a match, and threw it into the alley. "Edan," Cable said. "That dude - whatever he was, saved our life." Edan shrugged. "He might survive. And so might the other one, who knows?" he replied, walking off.
Before all hell broke loose, Kathy thought. What time was it? No way of knowing. Nevertheless, she proceeded to get dressed in her holey boots and dirty apron. Her purple hair still lay down, free of any preparation.
Tiptoeing so as not to disturb the others, she made her way past all the beds, crammed together, to the door. Kathy did her best, but she couldn't help but see the distressed sleeping faces of people who she knew. Sally Mark. Was the most popular girl at her school. Montserrat Navarro, a foreign exchange student from Mexico. Carissa Jones, a geek. Now all bore the looks of people who lived off of fear and work. With no future. Sally would never be a model. Montserrat would never be an English major. Carissa would never be a computer engineer. She...she would have to remain as she was. A slave for the most evil creature that would ever walk this earth.
He laughed at the sight, and then some blood dripped from his palm, so he licked it up, and grabbed his sword with his other hand. "Well, you probably thought they would make it out of here completely intact, right? Wrong." He laughed. Noticing that Rondine's head was the only part of his body that was unprotected, he swung at that, not wounding him that badly, due to the angle and strength of the attack but was able to make him bleed a little bit. He cleaned the blood on his sword with his tongue. "Ah, interesting. You are not completely human, but you are not completely vampire either. I figured as much. Dhampirs like you always follow the false philosophy that you can unite the human and vampire race. Mutts." He hissed.

"What is happening here? You want a fight or ?
He looked at all of them and rolled his eyes. If his mother or father will see this, they will be very angry...Anyway, he stand in front of them with superiority and waited for an answer. And he hoped that it will be good..
“Pardon me, lord,” she muttered, bowing low.
“Just watch where you're going, filth,” the vampire sneered, and pushed me out of the way.
“Yes, sir. Sorry sir.” Kathy quickly bowed once more and made her way to the kitchen. Noises of pots and pans filled her ears, and she opened the door to face another slave, whose name had slipped her mind. Kathy was only allowed to speak to a few select slaves, and this girl wasn't one. Kathy didn't dare say anything; you never know who might be listening. Instead, she gave a slight nod and it was returned by the other girl.
Kathy's stomach tightened when she saw what the girl was preparing. Human sausage. Kathy did everything she could not to throw up as she made her way past her to the dining room.
Then, she did the job that many would rather die than do.
The stone steps echoed her footsteps, each matching the pace of her heart. The smell of infection and cries of hunger and pain where close to overwhelming. She lowered her head, and felt ashamed of what she was about to do, even if she had no choice.
A certain section held slightly better prisoners. Kathy received several glared from the prisoners and one ever muttered “traitor,” as she walked past.
The keys were heavy in her hand, and she reached the cell.
It held a woman, in her mid-twenties, and a child, a boy, only four years old it looked. Another child rested in the young woman's arms. Her lips uttered a silent plea, begging me not to. But what could Kathy do? She hated herself more that they hated her. She opened her door, tears pouring down the woman's dirty and bloody face. She clutched the child in her arms, and it was then that Kathy realized the baby was dead.
She nodded and rose, taking the hand of her child. “Please. Please don't let them kill Marco,” she whispered, gesturing towards the child, almost dead from hunger and exhaustion. I nodded and led her upstairs, still holding her dead baby in one arm, her boy in the other.
We made our way up to the bathroom. She stripped and lay in the bathtub. The Queen got angry when her breakfast was dirty.
When she was clean, she dressed in an outfit matching mine and I took her to the door.
“I truly am sorry,” Kathy whispered, but how could she make this up to her? She couldn't.
I knocked on the door.

"Stupid.Bats!" Edan hissed, swiping them with his hands, and shooting them with his gun. Jerry was tryig to hit them with his sword, and Cable was using his limited knowledge of Kung Fu to keep the bats from killing him. Edan heard the vampire mention something about a half vampire/human hybrid. Of course. Why else would a vampire help a human - or three?

Chase looked at Nicholas and laughed. He was annoying.Chase rolled his eyes and walked away.Nothing interesting there. Not for him.He started running back in the courtyard. The palace was in front of him showing it's secrets..Not all of them, yet.In the palace, the dark was raising and the secrets were spreading quietly and faster..He entered in the main building and shouted for a slave. He was hungry. But he was not like his brother, to terorise weak humans for their blood. She closed his eyes and he threw himself on the big couch, still waiting for the slave. His fangs were raising and his hunger too.

"Fuck off, bats!" he hissed, knowing that the bats wouldn't listen. He shot at the vampire, not really caring if he missed, as it would just hit the hybrid dude or that other vampire that had just turned up. Jerry was swinging his sword like a maniac, killing bats here and there, and as soon as he got the chance he ran, the bats following behind. Edan took a match out of his pocket, lit a small twig on the ground beside him and threw it in the general direction of the vampires. Presumably, it would catch onto one of there clothes, igniting them and the others in the process. He took out his grappling hook and shot it at the roof, and he flew up, landing on his feet on the roof. He rubbed one of his bites, hoping they weren't infected. He sure as hell didn't want to become a bloodsucking leech.
He flew into one of the castle windows, transformed again. He saw his brother on the conch. "Ah, your fangs are longer than usual. Hungry? You know, if you got their earlier, you could of drank from the girl I killed. But that's not you. You're always tardy for everything." He chuckled.
“What is it, Kathryn?”
Kathy curtseyed low. “My lady, your... breakfast.” She choked the last word out with effort. She kept her eyes off of the woman beside her and took her boy's hand. She choked back a sob.
“Thank you, Kathryn. You may go inside now. There's much to be done.”
“Yes, ma'am. Right away ma'am.” Kathy walked inside, clutching the boy's small hand. “This way, Marco.”
“No, wait. Leave the brat. I'm more thirsty than usual this morning.”
The woman automatically fell to her knees, sobbing and begging, “No, please! Not my son! Kill me, kill me, please!”
“Get off me, you human bastard! I will do as I please!” She kicked her face and I heard her neck break. Blood seeped out of her mouth as she lay motionless on the floor. “Mama!” The child cried, reaching for his mother.
“Silence or you're next, brat. Get him out of my sight and to the butcher. We need more meat anyway.”
Kathy's eyes brimmed with tears as she picked up the boy and stepped over the woman's body. “Yes ma'am.”
She ran the child down to the butcher where another human by the name of Damian worked. “I have another recruit” she said with sign-language. He nodded and took the boy out the door and to a trapdoor that led to a tunnel of complex passages that lead to the resistance. She knew he would be safe there.
Many a time she thought of running away too, leaving to the safe places, but I played an important role.
"Y-You called, master?" Lora stammered, walking into the room where Prince Chase sat. Suddenly, a swarm of bats flies through the window and forms the shape of Prince Nicholas. Lora gave a squeal of surprise and jumped back, before she realized who it was and gave a small bow. Prince Nicholas didn't seem to notice her. "Ah, your fangs are longer than usual. Hungry?" he commented. "You know, if you got their earlier, you could of drank from the girl I killed. But that's not you. You're always tardy for everything." He gave a small chuckle, and Lora walked backwards slowly, trying not to be noticed.

"That was...eventful."
"This is all your fault!"
"What?! How the hell is it my fault?"
"If you had followed orders, we wouldn't have been in that mess!"
Edan rolled his eyes. They were walking towards the butchers, where they knew there was a tunnel to the underground. "You can't order me. I'm not a recruiter, I'm a fighter, remember?" Edan pointed out. "Not a very good one," Jerry muttered. Edan glared at him. They entered the butchers and the smell of the dead overwhelmed them. Edan nodded at Kathy. They began down the tunnels, when Jerry stopped. "What?" Cable asked impatiently. "We forgot about Lucifer!" Jerry exclaimed. Edan cursed and headed back up the tunnel, the other two close behind.
