Down the muddy hall, past the two cloaked figures, and through the vault door strode a man the blackest cloak of all those around him.
"Sir Veris, what have you brought to the vault today?" Asked the small cloaked figure with a face as white as ash. Veris then pulled out a small dagger.
"The Dagger of Assassins, straight from Algrags tomb." Said Veris as he pulled out a small glowing dagger, with to small ravines for what seemed to be poison.
"Good. I'll make a space for it." Said the vault keeper as he hurried to make space for the dagger.
"I need to get into that vault. I'm almost certain that they have an artifact that pertains to Aurain."
A man bumped into her on purpose ,knocking the book out of her hands. The ancient text fell into the mud. Yvette gasped and picked the book up. She began to wipe the mud off the book with her white robe ,staining the fabric.
Now walking through the walkway, Veris spent his time looking around. While it was messy, this swamp was a perfect haven for worshipers of the Duke of Darkness. Light rarely got through the trees, making a necessity for most to set up dim torches, and other than that it was just a miserable place to be, which kept most other people out. No one seemed to want a house that could sink into the ground at any second, but those who lived in the swamp all knew just how to counter things like that.
Finally reaching the small hut that he had purchased some time ago, Veris pulled a key from a pocket that none could see. He slowly puts the key into the slot, but something begins to nag him. He could not tell what it was, but it was just something.

"People of this humble town, come one, come all. Time has graced us all with life. Life is a banquet. Aurain the goddess of time has patiently awaited you all to follow her lessons."
Yvette preached as loud as she could. None of the passing villagers even stopped to notice her preaching. She continued to preach, increasing her volume with every person that passed by.
Most people of the swamps cared little about what anyone had to say, only about the volume. Some who passed Yvette may have even said "Darkness silence you." It is a common phrase in the swamps when one person is telling another to quiet down. However, Yvette seemed to only care about becoming louder.
Veris locked the door to his house and withdrew the key inside of his cloak. With an irritated gate, the shadowmancer approached the preacher. "Would you mind quieting down? We have come to the swamps to get away from the noise of the cities, and most here would like it to stay that way." Veris said with a significant amount of seriousness to his voice.
