|| APPEARANCE ||
"You know you wanna get with all this sexinss."
Danny's lean and lithe, with a head full of messy brown hair that he never fixes, an upturned nose, amber eyes, long limbs that his body never seemed to fully grow into, and scattered with freckles and moles everywhere.
He can always be seen wearing his glasses -- except during games -- and fidgets with them when he's nervous. He also has a habit of wearing beanies, his favorite being a faded blue one. Most people joke it's because he's too lazy to fix his hair.
He always dresses comfortably, in faded jeans and gamer tee shirts, sometimes throwing on a button up over it. He kind of despises shoes though, and will take them off at the first opportunity.
|| PERSONALITY ||
If anyone could describe Danny Jacobs with only one word it would certainly be "asshole." He has a uniquely cocky confidence about him, one that keeps him from shying away from hardly anything at all.
Risky to the point of idiocy, Danny is completely impulsive and jumps into things without thinking them through. At all. He's a smartass, by nature, full of dark wit, horrible innuendos, and mischievous smirks.
Under the snide comments, Danny is incredibly cheerful and mostly fun to be around. Naturally friendly, eventually the things he says get brushed off from being rude and become more endearing than anything else. He's a brilliant friend, loyal and extremely supportive. He's clingy, flirtatious, and irritating to the core, but there is nothing he wouldn't do for his friends.
Danny has a problem of not caring what others think of him, which is a fine quality within itself, but sometimes can get him in trouble. He mostly doesn't have a filter on his mouth, letting out whatever he thinks about when he thinks it. This trait can make him bluntly honest if nothing else, but he's just as loose with compliments and praise.
Fiercely competitive, Danny loves dodgeball just as much as his friends. Hyperactive to the point of almost annoying, he's probably got A.D.D at the very least, but it makes him incredibly good at his position.
He takes his studies only about half as importantly as everything else.
"I may or may not dodge a lot of balls."
Major:
"Working through Criminal Psychology. If I don't go bankrupt first."
|| HISTORY ||
Family "Oh right yeah them..."
Danny doesn't talk about his family that much. He has an older brother named Liam that he's close to, but that's about all.
Friends "Friends are like the family you get to chose."
Boyfriend "Yeah. Right."
Single and very much looking.
Known Languages:"English, duh. Conversational Spanish. And American Sign Language."
Danny doesn't really have anything in his past that he finds worth talking about, so he doesn't often bring it up. If asked directly he won't avoid the question, but it's a common known fact he doesn't particularly like the subject. To put it simply:
Danny was born in a small town in Texas to a poor but making it family. There was seven of them all together, and Danny's jammed somewhere in the middle. Growing up he was constantly pulled at to either get a job or help take care of the children. Ironically enough, given how little Danny seems to care about his grades, he fought to graduate highschool.
Always eccentric and seemingly into everything, Danny's relationship with his parents has almost always been strained. While his mother was partial to him and usually on his side, it was his father who couldn't seem to stand looking at him, much less dealing with him.
Danny made terms with being the family disappointment years ago, but that didn't stop him from being totally crushed when his parents themselves labeled him a such. The night the big gay bomb was dropped. Danny never consciously hid his sexuality, but apparently bringing a boyfriend over to dinner was too much. His father basically disowned him, and though his mother tried to be supportive she obviously just didn't have it in her anymore.
Danny made it through the last three years at home by simply pushing through. His older brother, Liam, stepped up and became everything Danny could possibly need, but otherwise he focused on the little ones. Especially Isobel, who had trouble speaking so much that the two of them sat down and learned sign language. He hasn't seen her since he moved out, though.
College became an option he picked as a safety net more than anything else. He's never had a clear idea about what he wants to do with his life, but he picked the most interesting topic he could and has since been floating by. He's surviving off of scholarships (notably Dodgeball) and should really care more than he does.
