Age: 16
God/Goddess Ancestor: Eros, the Greek god sexual love and beauty. He was also worshiped as a fertility deity. Known as Cupid in Roman mythology, he is known to have wings and to shoot arrows of love at people causing them to fall for the first person they see. Anyone can be affected by this, even gods. Eros eventually falls in love with a mortal named Psyche and after much turmoil and adversity from Aphrodite (who is Eros's mother) and Psyche's sisters, Psyche eventually is able to become immortal herself and marry Eros. Eros is known for being a mischief maker.
Gifts from the God/Goddess: Bow and arrows- While they don't cause anyone to fall in love, they do help the holder in shoot better. Elysia was already a fine archer, but this made her 10x better. She's also blessed with the ability to fly.
Personality: Elysia may look like a typical blonde, but she's actually pretty smart. She's pretty clever too. She's very observant and tends to be a matchmaker. She herself though has never really found someone. While she is a total romantic, she is pretty cautious at times now because boys in the past start to annoy her with their antics and she felt they didn't have enough spine. While a bit shy at first, once she gets to knows someone, she turns into a pretty outgoing person. She tends to be very curious and this behavior has gotten her into trouble.
School: 10th grade, Honor student (Mostly A's, some B's)
History: Elysia grew up in an upper middle class setting in the suburbs. She's the youngest of 4. Her father is a vet and her mother is a stay at home mom. Elysia was babied a bit and grew up a sweetheart, although she did get into mischief with her tendency to be too curious for her own good. She grew up listening to fairy tales and became a big romantic because of it. When she started to see that the world wasn't always a nice place to live in and that people were unhappy at times, she started to see if there was anything she could do. When she reached Junior High, she started helping her friends with girlfriend and boyfriend problems and eventually earned a reputation of being a matchmaker. Of course she sometimes meddle too much and several didn't like it all that much. One of her favorite activities is archery and she also loves to read romance novels.
