a character in “Elemental Rage”, as played by BlueWind_22

Description

Image
Name: Ember Wolfe
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Role: Metal Element

Personality: Ember looks stoic, cold, and distant, like she's not really there, but in truth she just doesn't feel. She wants to though, she wants to feel emotions, to feel adrenaline and even fear. She wants to mess with fire and even laugh about something she actually finds funny, but she just doesn't see what other elements and people see. She doesn't fully understand their emotion. Although she can't feel or even sympathize, she does understand anger and sadness more than people think she does. Ember can seem strong willed and even independent but it all just an act for her to seem normal and even though people ask her if she can feel the power she holds, she lies. She doesn't have an aura so it doesn't worry her that the spirit wielder might see through her. She can feel the power she holds.

Dislikes: (She doesn't dislike things, but these are things you won't see her around alot)
  • Human contact ; She will understand being touched by another Element wielder but normal people just don't seem... right to her. So she tries to limit her exposure to them especially to the ones that like to mess with her alot like asking her qustions.
  • The other Elements ; She can see how they feel and show their emotions. She almost envies them, but finds it better to be on her own, even in the house.
  • Birds ; Animals that fly don't like her, and she doesn't know why. She's been attacked by several, mainly blue jays, and she's even killed a few on accident but she just doesn't know anything about her Element.
  • Mirrors ; She doesn't see the light she sees in the other Element's eyes.

Likes: (She doesn't like things, but these are some stuff she likes to do)
  • Working with her Element ; She is her element, but she can't see it but is insanely attracted to using it, and is known to have a loose control on it.
  • Learning ; She wants to seem as normal as possible to others and she wants to know how to be.. That way. So she learns and "likes" to read books and even work books about biology. She just wants to feel.
  • Chocolate ; It tastes delicious to her and is something she "likes" to eat alot.

Element Control: Ember has alot of control issues, in fact it might be a great thing that she doesn't feel emotional because if she did, alot of people might have been killed on accident. She doesn't have a tight control on it, but when she moves around physically, metal objects would sometimes kind of levitate toward her. She sometimes uses it on purpose to do things like turn a T.V. on but mostly finds the T.V. breaking. So, she knows her power destroys alot of things and doesn't find a problem with breaking things... In fact she secretly agrees with the idea, but won't admit it.
Power Range: You know from the paragraph above that she's already killed a few birds and even breaks alot of things but she does have some benefits of her power. She can levitate and move several types of metal like iron and titanium, but she does have a tendency to use too much of her power. When she first tried to levitate a spoon it flew through the roof so you could say she needs alot of work on this.

History: Ember was born in a little happy family, but they died when Ember first tested her Element. She caused a car crash and she only survived because she had instinctively formed into her True Aspect which is pure metal or titanium, anyways her True Aspect form is undestructible as they all are. So, she was left under the care of her Aunt who leaved her dearly. Until the Element Mentor found her and took her from her aunt who agreed to the idea. So, now here she is.
Other: Nope.

So begins...

Ember Wolfe

Ember Wolfe. It was the name her fake birth parents gave her when she was created and unveiled to the world, and it only seems humanely fair that stay her name, right? Her long golden brown fur, known as hair to humans, fell down her shoulders in waves, ending right before her waist line. Brownish eyes stared down at the liquid metal pooled in her hands and then she was closing them. Behind her eyes, she imprinted the design she had thought of earlier when undergoing another Lecture from the big man, known as Sam, just for trying to to lift a metal pan off the floor inside the house. She knew why she wasn't allowed to practice in there anymore, possibly because of the time she tried lifting a spoon that had shot through the roof causing some problems whenever it rained, but that didn't matter right now. Push it all away, she inhaled trying to focus and imagine the feel of forming metal under her palms.

Ember licked her lips and tried to imagine how emotions would feel if she actually had them. To know how it would feel to... Well, really feel. The liquid metal disappeared, but then a sound of sqawks interrupted her thoughts. A blue bird was diving for her, yet again. Instinctively, the still forming liquid metal in her hands stopped and turned into another shape as it shot through the air and... Right through the little blue bird's chest. She blinked and felt a surge of something but as soon as she felt it, it disappeared, leaving her suprised and angry, but different. The dead bird, still impaled by the pencil sized spike gently levitated toward the ground. A shame the bird died, but it was... Expendable in her mind, besides, she had read that Blue Birds weren't rare, but common in places like this.

Ember stared at the skewered blue jay and thought of her flower design for the metal that now imbedded itself in it's chest. "You ruined my idea, and now I can't use this metal anymore. It was a tool in your death. I am... Sorry." Her voice sounded monotone, as she pushed the dead bird off the metal spike and watched as it fell to the floor. The metal spike fell into her waiting palm before she strided toward the house.

Carded lied asleep in the large bathtub he occasionally called his bed with a pair of board shorts. His neck was open with three slits on either side as he slept silently under the water. An alarm clock laid at the bottom of the water, the gears and clamps waterproofed for him. The clock struck 10 am and the metal clappers beat against eachother, causing the water to ripple as the boy under the water slowly woke up, stretching with his skin not the slightest bit pruned. The boy lifted his fist up to his eyes and rubbed them and yawned. His sapphire eyes stuck out from his pale skin as he sat up, his scrawny upper body showing as water beaded away since he was completely moist.

He yawned once more and slipped from his once warm bath as his gills retracted into his neck and he looked almost like a normal teenager. He wandered out and shook his head like he was a dog to get rid of the few droplets in his hair before he grabbed his clothes he had laid out the night before and started to dress.

He emerged ten minutes later fully dressed with a white shirt and a pair of jeans and went to his closet and slipped on a black jacket which helped enhance his silver hair. He started to the door when he heard a small splash and turned around to see his cheerful cephalopod moving around trying to get her master's attention. Carded chuckled and walked over to the tank to pet Blip. The squishy head made a ticklish feeling to the boy's hand every time. "I'm guessing you're hungry." he said then grabbed a small bottle containing her feed and dropped it in causing Blip to dart towards it and start to open the bottle.

Carded pulled his hand out slowly thinking she should be fine as he absorbed the water on his sleeve making it dry as a bone as he made his way downstairs. He saw that Sam was gone and Ember was on the couch. "Morning metalhead." he said with a smirk as he walked to an armchair and plopped down.

Keeping a rather energetic rhythm with his feet, Lucas jogged gently through the natural land that surrounded the house. It was common for him to have a morning job, it kept him in shape for his other sports, and now and again he did try his hand a cross country. Being in the shape he was, his pace was quick, and he had managed to cover a fair distance in the short time he has been out.

Jumping out from some undergrowth near the drive of the house he watched the tail end of Sam's truck disappear. ' Yes.. free house' he said meaning that Sam would not be around to monitor him, though in his excitement, he gave a little fist pump, setting his hand on fire. ' Damn it i gotta stop that'. he thought wandering into the house as he put his hand out.

Once inside the house he wandered through the living room towards the kitchen, giving a nod to metal, before smirking to water " Sup fish boy" he said moving into the kitchen, pouring himself a glass of water. Coming back into the living room he looked at the TV, but shook his head slightly " Where did the old guy head off to?" he asked to no one in particular.

Ember Wolfe

Ember glanced at the people appearing in the kitchen/living room. The house was too small. The walls closing in on her, suffocatingly too close. Snap out of it! She shook her head before standing and removing herself from the environment by going out onto the protected deck. She sat down on the swinging love seat to the side, and stared out at the lake. Why was she so different? She saw how the others acted around other humans, how they expressed emotions and actually felt. She closed her eyes and listened the sighing of the wind, the swishing sound of the lake, how like a mother soothing her child. Ember inhaled the scents of the water, the grass, the trees, and the smell of freedom. If only I could feel and actually feel the feeling of being proud and happy, joy, pleasure and even pain of the soul. I'd do anything to feel. The thought reminded her of her project, she pulled out the liquid metal in her hand that temperarily been formed into a solid block, but it instantly fell into a puddle in her hands at a single flick of her eyes.

Ember pulled her hands close, to levitate the pool of silvery that promised hope. She inhaled, echaled, and concentrated on the image, and feel of her project. She felt a surge of power run through her, pulling back like a tide, and rolling forming into a killer wave as she let it loose focusing on the metal in her hand, coaxing the aggressive storm inside to change what she held. The feeling of being powerful came back again, and this time she experimented with it by encouraging it to swell and filled her to her toes. A bright flash exploded between her palms, the metal liquid curled around itself and unfurled itself, actually turning and taking a form of a flower, it's petals moving with the wind like an actually living flower. Veins were etched so detailed from petal to stem. It was a lily, a silver metal lily.

Ember opened her eyes and actually jumped up and laughed, her eyes burning bright with... Joy? Glee? No... Power... She ran inside and actually went to Nirvana, the spirit user. The metal flower levitating after her. "I did it! I did it! I actually did it without hurting anyone!" She let go of the girl and turned to looked the flower she created and smiled, but then couldn't help it. She hugged everyone in the room, even the fish boy, and laughed again... Except this time she laughed the T.V. made static noise, the mircowave actually turned on and the frigarator stopped making that whirring noise it always made. The lights also went out. She stopped smiling and looked at everyone. "Oops... Sorry, I forgot..."
