"You know, burning stuff? It's more fun than reapin' souls!"
Marsaili, for lack of a better term, is a child demon. Trapped within a child's body, never to grow old or mature. She loves it. Marsaili is immature, childish and mischievious. Well, what else would you expect from a hell spawn?! Although very much a child, Marsaili is also strangely knowing and wise at times. She can be insightful and honest. Although most of the time, she's lying through her little white toothy smile.
Her attitude means that she can be easily offended and can be quickly threaten to drag someone to the depths of hell although most of the time, she'll forget your grevious deed by the time lunch has rolled around. Although, offend her too bad (steal her teddy or pull her hair) and she will cry to her daddy. And Lucifer may not be as merciful as his baby girl.
Marsaili, for all her faults, is a little girl, despite her less than angellic nature. If she falls and scuffs her knees, she will cry. If you tickle her, she'll laugh. Make her mad and she will have a temper tantrum.
She'll just incinerate you and probably throw you into Hell during said temper tantrum.
Ah, details.
Marsaili is a demon "baby", a child of hell. She walks the earth to cause mayhem and generally carry out her father's work.
Think chores but with a bit more...pyromaniacism.
Marsaili is a protector of the fire king, yes, but she has no intention of slaving away forever for some petty human, no matter how pretty his orb is. Nope, this little demon is biding her time, waiting for her chance to shine. For her chance at ripping peace into shreds and dancing upon the burning entrails.
Because, at "heart" she is a little daddy's girl and what would make her daddy prouder than his baby ripping the seams of peace and balance apart?
Other: ~Marsaili, as a direct result of her parentage, does have Demonic abilities such as telekinesis and enhanced strength and endurance. However, Marsaili is still just a child and these powers will be patchy at best and down right impossible at worst.
~Our little demon wonder also cannot feel emotion yet expresses it readily. She bases her reactions off what she thinks is social norm and as she has done so for so long, it has become a part of her. However, do not be fooled as any emotion is faked and her true feelings are always hidden.

"But daddy!" Marsaili whined, arms wrapped snugly around her favourite bunny rabbit. She ran her fingers over his broken seams. Maybe she should fix that. His ear looked kinda sore. She tugged lightly on one of his dropping ears. He didn't seem to mind. The little girl cackled and hugged the plush animal to her chest.
"Marsi." Her father answered, his voice soft as he looked at his daughter. Well, soft may be the wrong word. It wasn't as harsh as it could have been. Marsaili pulled a face and violently ripped at her rabbit's ear. Oh dear, it fell off. Pity. A black smoke whirled around the stuffed toy and the ear was replaced in a whirl of brimstone. The young girl eagerly inhaled the scent as if it was a rare perfume and she let out a little contented sigh. She let out a happy little "Thank you, daddy!" Before remembering why she was pouting in the first place.
"But I don't wanna go up! I wanna stay down here! And play games with the souls!" The child groaned, her orange eyes looking up at her father with a pouty lip and a pleading expression. Lucifer sighed heavily as his daughter stood in front of him, clutching her rabbit.
"I know, Marsi, but you had to go up sometime! You're a big girl now!" The King of Hell tried to reason with his pit spawn of a child. Hell be praised, he was proud of her. A little manipulitive monster using every weapon she had from her big eyes to her cutesy posture. No human could say no to that face.
"But I don't wanna be a big girl! I wanna stay down here, where it's warm and it doesn't smell funny and it is full of weirdos who do "nice things". It's just icky! Why would you be nice?!" The little girl exclaimed, her blonde locks swishing behind her as she jumped on the spot. A skull beneath her cracked as she stamped her foot. The demon child pulled a little face and her shook her little black shoes free of bone. Daddy has got to redecorate. This silly skulls are all fallin' apart!
"Besiiides! I've got a very important operation going on right now! I'm trying to see how quickly a soul will go insane if you just leave it in the lime! So far it is three years but it's still a really important ongoing experiment!" The little girl whined, a lisp slipping into her voice and crocodile tears gathering round her eyes. Lucifer had never felt prouder. His little girl, growing up, just like the little manipulative demon she was born to be.
"I'm sure Jezebel can look after it for you! Now, Marsi, it's a reward to go up! You get to cause all kinds o-"
"But I don't waaaaaanna. I don't want smelly Jezebel looking after my experiment. You know, I think she saved a kitten three hundred years ago?! What if some weird "pity" or whatever it's called gets her and she lets my experiment go?! Then I've lost a lot of valuable research! I wanna stay here. With you." Masaili shrieked, her head thrown back as she made her opinion known to the whole of Hell. The screams and moans quieted down a little as Hell's child had a little temper tantrum. Lucifer pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Marsaili, you have to go up. You know what?" Marsaili carried on screaming the ceiling of Hell down, proclaiming that Jezebel was just a demon pretender, that she was a hidden angel and a fricking virgin to boot. Then she moved onto each individual demon, claiming each had at one time saved a fluffy mammal, taken pity on someone or was just a prude. She wasn't quite sure what a virgin was but it got a lot of surprised gasps from the demons so must have been a really spine curlingly good thing.
"If you go up and cause enough chaos for me, I will let you rip apart souls to your heart's content for the rest of millennia!" Instantly the screams stopped and the demon child's bright orange eyes were fixed upon her father.
"Really? In any way I want?" She ventured, rabbit clutched tighter to her chest as she leaned forward. She had always wanted free reign over soul shredding but her daddy had always said no because she had to practise on the weaker souls first. And the weak souls were always so easy to break.
"Really! I'll even let you use the Rack!" The King of Hell was downright pleading with his daughter now, just praying from the screaming to stop. He may be fond of yelling in agony but temper tantrums were not his area of expertise.
"Really! The Rack?! You don't even let the highest demons use the Rack!" The little girl gushed, mind alight with the thoughts of torture. Oh, it all looked so fun!
"Yes, even the Rack! You just have to go up for a little while and cause a little trouble and I'll let you play until you are tired of mayhem! Does that sound good to you, Marsi?" Lucifer asked, hoping that it was enough to console his daughter. He really did need her up there.
"Sure! I'll bring the whole kingdom to its knees and even kill a couple of nobles! Easy peasy! Then I can play some fun games!" Marsaili almost sang, all previous rage forgotten. She danced merrily with her rabbit.
"Wouldn't this be fun, Mr Glasgow-Smiles?! We'll get to play on the Rack soon!" Her voice was filled with a childish glee that seemed eerily out of place in the depths of hell. Lucifer looked at his daughter, smile on his face.
Oh, she was going to cause some bother from those pesky Kings, alright.
Marsaili looked at her father, Cheshire grin sneaking onto her face.
"I better get ready to go then, huh, daddy?" The little girl giggled and with a flare of hellfire and a disturbing cackle, she disappeared.
Lucifer grinned, black teeth gleaming in the red light.
Oh yes, his baby girl was going to cause quite a stir upstairs.
