The Last Travel - Nobuo Uemastu

Long ago, when I was just a boy (Says boy, but try to replace that with girl please!)
So alone that last of my kind in the world
I believe futures could be reborn
I would go back in time
Change what’s to come

Hunting, searching for futures I’ve dreamed
Ever chasing, believing visions unseen
Hearing that hope is futile
Only inspires me not to give up

Valhalla is calling me to the end
I can hear now the beating hearts of lost friends
Urging me to not forget them
As the last hunter
I’ll find the key

Seiri Xu

Seiri was up early that day, but she was helping clean after her little brother who couldn't really do things on his own. Although the guild did matter a lot to her, she had to put her younger brother as priority. Since he was a mute, and was blind in one eye, it was hard for him to do things on his own. Leaving him at their little house even got her anxious, despite him being old enough to take care of himself.

Seiri tied the sash to her unique outfit around her waist, turning to look at the little child sitting at the table, eating his food and watching her leave with his large blue eyes. It sent a little shock of tense and nervousness up at her as she struggled to force a smile and wave, "I'll be back soon, Kohaku. Take care of yourself, make sure not to answer the door to strangers, don't go out alone, don't eat too many sweets, be careful not to spill anything or break glass under your feet, oh yes, and-"

She stopped her sentence, seeing how her younger brother was grumbling at how many things she asked him to do. It was all out of her motherly nature for such young children, or anyone actually, and it was very hard for her to contain such motherliness after what happened to their family in the past. Nevertheless, she shook her head, put on a regular smile, pat her little brother's head and said gently, "I'll come back. Just don't get into any trouble without me, alright?"

Her little brother, Kohaku seemed to have put on a small smile as he nodded, getting off his seat and rushing to put his bowl into the sink. He was responsible, perhaps more than a regular 10 year old child should be, but that was good, because he would be able to take care of himself when his sister wasn't around.

After a last good bye from the two, Seiri shut the door behind her, walking out into the sunlight. She took a deep breath of the fresh air and look upwards, "Well.. its sun rise. I supposed that means the guild is up and early then!" She giggled, wondering what trouble they could have been getting into while she stayed back to look over her family.

Seiri headed for the guild, Fairy Tail, the guild she belonged in, the guild she hoped her brother to join, the guild that was also her family. Fairy Tail meant everything to Seiri, which was why she held it so close to her and why she wanted to protect it so badly, although apparently Gitana was already handling that job. But she didn't really care, as long as they were safe and being their-selves, "Then if that's the case, everything is perfectly fine." She told herself with contentment.

She finally reached the guild after around a minute or so of walking. She heard some loud noises coming from inside as she reached to open the door, but after hearing that, she was a bit reluctant, 'Are they causing more trouble...?' She wondered to herself, but reached out and opened the door anyways, regardless of what she thought was going on inside that insane yet happy guild she was in.

For some reason, Seiri wasn't very surprised to see some sort of a riot going on. She put a hand over her mouth and said in a soft tone, "Oh dear, not again..."

Seiri wasn't the type of woman to get involved with riots, especially with the guild since things tended to get big, and she was a pacifist after all, so she was a bit afraid to go and state out to stop someone and end the rioting, or at least attempt to. She held a finger up and opened her mouth, but then shut it a moment later, regretting the thought. But after a little while of thinking, Seiri inhaled a deep breath, yelling without even realizing, a sort of motherly trait coming in, "All of you, quit this fighting at once! It's too early in the morning to be creating so much trouble!"

It probably sounded like a teacher lecturing a naughty student, or a mother talking to her child who did something bad purposely, something along the lines of sounding like a matured woman who wanted to be heard and listened to. She probably even sounded like a sergeant yelling at their soldiers to push themselves further in some way with how strictly she yell it out loud towards the guild members who were rioting.

A moment later, Seiri let out a tiring sigh and fanned herself with her flabellum, frowning a bit sadly and disappointedly at the ones who took their part in the riot, "My, my... Here I was expecting a peaceful day... but then again, you little ones always seem to surprise me." She laughed quietly and took a seat at one of the tables, still fanning herself and not really caring if her orders worked to stop the riot or not. Since the guild always seemed to throw her expectations off balance, it wasn't that bad. Seiri found it fun in some ways actually.

Damia was scarred. He had never won a fight against Gitana. He saw the 'help me' look on Aletheus's face. He took a second to think about it. 'If I fight with him maybe she'll share the beating. Yeah. Individual beatings are worse than combined one's. He walked up to Alatheus and was back to back to him. Completely zoned out. "Hey dude how long do you think she'll beat you this time. 10 minutes. 10 days?" The serpent of Ruby teased at him. He was frozen. It might have even been that his mind had decided to die on him because of the shock of everything. 'Best.....Day......Ever.' He thought to himself as he looked up in the sky hoping for a miracle. Apart from Gitana's chastising words, he also heard, Seiri yell too. At least he thought it was her. He only hoped that she had talked to them first and not Gitana. Things would've probably been different.

Back to back with his buddy he turned around to him and said, "Don't worry man. If we die, we die together." He said in his noblest pose. He looked at Gitana who gave a wink and a smile. Direct.... Direct female contact....... It was over. Stomach aching. Eyeball twitching. Ruby laughing. He couldn't take it when girls winked at him. To many bad memories. He fainted on the spot.

He saw his friend get punched and go flying and with the last of his strength took a white napkin out of his pocket and laid it on the ground. Defeat.

Damia stood up, thanks to Gitana of course, and was still groggy. "Hahahahaaa. Then she picked you up like you were a wolf cub. That's funny boss. Gitana a million times infinity, Damia, none. Hahahahaa." Damia snapped out of it as he realized everyone was going inside. "Shut up Ruby. You talk to much", he said to the voice that was talking to him. He brushed the dirt off his clothes then proceed to Alatheus. He was standing still. "Hey. Hey Alatheus. Come on bud." He looked at his eyes. "Dang it. Now I have to carry you inside." He picked up his friend and tossed him across his shoulder. It was a hard hike, those forty-five steps to the bench where they ussually sat at felt like a trot through snow. He set Alatheus down and ask the bartender to dump water on him. Not because he was unconscious but because it would be funny to see him wake up all wet.
He then proceeded to the Guild master whom he hadn't talked to all day. "Hey GMP," Which stands for Guild master Posco, "Are we going to hold a Fairy Tale welcome meeting for the new people?" He asked as he stretched his back. "We have to give them the rules and their stamp. But mostly their stamps because we have our own ruled." He said jokingly.

Alatheus was extremely out of it as Gitana pulled him out of a fall and back onto his own feet. His legs felt rubbery, his head was pounding like crazy, and he found that he couldn't quite recall how to think. He faintly heard Gitana speaking to him, a pat on the spot he was hit causing a spike of pain to stand out from the rest of the dull throbbing. He stood there, still slowly swaying back and forth as his mind attempted to work through the fog.

He felt himself picked up and slowly moved around. He was beginning to work his way back towards consciousness when he was sat down. His eyes slowly starting to work back into focus when suddenly water came splashing down on him, jarring him back to consciousness. Immediately the first thing he felt was the throbbing pain on his jaw and bottom lip.

"What'd you do that for, Darren?" he whined as he gently rubbed the developing bruise on his face. Seeing the man motion over towards Damia, Alatheus' eyes narrowed as he vowed payback. Hearing something about a welcome party coming from Damia, Alatheus groaned as his head dropped into his hands, flinching as he reminded himself about his hurt face. A party meant lot's of food. And that always meant lots of cooking for him. It was one of the many things he did to help out the guild, usually quite happily. At the moment though, he'd've preferred to sleep the day away.

Damia joined in the welcome cheers and decided to leave the area. He felt sort of threatened by the girl Posco declared to be his sister. Surely she would be as kind as him but she seemed a little on edge. He never had luck with woman. At least to his standards. He couldn't talk to the girls he liked because he was too shy and to the girls who he thought were beautiful but just wasn't mentally attracted to, he always found himself running through town to escape him. Bruno had it easy. No girls ever bothered him. He let out a sigh as he thought about this. He had a bracket for girls. There was the crazy type, like Sarah whom he was glad was gone on a mission because she would never stop touching him and hugging him. There was the drunk type like Mio who's grandmother was said to also be a hard drinker. There was his type like Seiri Xu, who was nice and polite. She was more of a big sister to him though, but he liked girls that were elegant and refined, maybe even a little shy, like her. Then lastly there was the Gitana type. She was also his big sister figure in the guild. Reminded him to much of his mom though, who is a major factor of his phobia. He wrote the similarity to his mom and his mom wrote back telling him that she would write Gitana a thank you letter. He of course wasn't happy at the joke. If it was a joke. All in all, he didn't know what to classify the new girls as yet so he decided to keep his distance. The purple haired girl, what was her name, he pondered. Oh that's right Arianna. She came off as a little shy. No. Lonely. No. 'What is her deal anyway?' He thought curiously. Then he decded to leave it for later. He saw Seiri Xu was now in her usual spot and decided to greet her. He like talking to her cause she was nice. He even had a little crush on her when he first joined the guild. He like her brother too. He was independent like himself. He walked up to her and said, "Goodmoring Seiri. How's Kohaku doing." He sat down across from her waiting for a response and caught the weird glimpse of brotherly Posco giving his sister matching stamps.

Arianna Hasani

"But of course!" Posco turned to the members of Fairy Tail and called loudly, "A meeting has been called for," Posco boomed, the whole guild instantly quieting. "We have two mages joining us! Miss Arianna and Miss Ari! Now dont go scaring them off," he warned as he pulled the two mages atop the bar with him, Arianna reluctantly climbing up there and averting her eyes. "You two have been accepted now into this family, but the true question lies. Are you prepared to join?"

'Yes,' she thought, bracing her heart against the sense of excitement bubbling up in her stomach despite her wishes. "Yes," she answered, her voice devoid of the excite she was struggling to suppress. "Where would you two wish your stamps to be placed?" Posco replied, holding up the ink stamp and ink of various colors.

Arianna gestured to her upper left arm and watched as Posco placed the stamp on it, leaving behind a appropriately purple tattoo. Arianna admired it for a moment and was filled with an overwhelming sense of pride. Tears came to her eyes as she looks at the guild and then back to Posco, opening her mouth so say something.

But she when tried she was hit by a familiar, yet excruciating pain coming from just over her heart and her chest constricted. Eyes shooting to her hands she could see they were shaking and her vision began to blur as she felt a sudden lack of strength. 'Curses! I-I wasn't prepared!' She thinks in alarm as she attempts to look at Posco and she manages to stutter,

"T-Th-Than-ank-k Y-You-" before her knees give way and she topples off the bar, landing head first on the wooden floor of Fairy Tail, still trembling violently though it seemed that was the only movement she was capable of.

Posco Sebhat

Posco jumped rather high when he heard a crashing sound next to him, but when he looked down, he had known exactally what happened. He had been around, seen a lot, learned even more from all the other, much older Masters. From the way Arianna had been acting and what was happening now, it was easy to figure out. But he needed her to confirm it. Posco was quickly jumped from the bar and scooped up Arianna, dashing back to the medical room. It was a small thing really, barely enough room for a broom, hypothetically speaking. The beds remained neatly covered, with a thin film of dust covering them. With one hand, Posco threw off the first sheet and laid the girl down. "Nows the time Arianna to be a little more open with you Guild Master. Your not the only rare mage here, so I know one when I see one. Tell me exactly who you are." Posco was dead serious now, but not the kind where it would scare someone silent. More of a concerned father serious, a seriousness that was part of his ever day person.

Ari Sebhat

Ari stared as her 'brother' swept the other newcomer from the ground and rushed her off behind the counter. Was she seriously that nervous? What a disgrace! There was nothing nerve racking about this place, not the people, nothing. It was a shame how much time Ari had prepared for something so simple. But if Posco was running it, it was bound to be. It was quiet in the guild, the slam and lock of a door had echoed. Suna stood awkwardly, looking up at Ari with worried eyes. Ari herself must have looked like a 12-year-old who had gotten her most favorite thing taken from her, not sad, but blinded witn fury.

"Maybe we should go," the wolf-like dog whispered to his Master.

"So your Master Posco's sister. Its nice to ..." Before the man could finish, Ari snarled, yes snarled, at him. He stood in shock, who knows why, as she leapt from the counter and dashed out the doors of the guild, Suna in quick persute.

"What a waste," she yelled, earning glares from passerby, "All those years are wasted!"

"You musn't judge a book by its cover, Ari. They are one of the strongest, most famous guilds. There was no mistake! Nothing was wasted. I could feel the energy of that place. Its just what you need. You cant leave."

"Dont have much of a choice now do I," Ari exclaimed as she pulled her shorts enough to reveal her new, firey red tattoo. "Knowing the lunatic, leaving is 1000x as hard as entering! I just ....... I just need to blow off some steam." The small girl sat on the edge of the walk way, not caring what others thought of her at the moment.

Seiru Xu

"A meeting has been called for. We have two mages joining us! Miss Arianna and Miss Ari! Now dont go scaring them off."

The guild master's loud voice almost caught Seiri off guard, making her jump a bit at the sudden booming, but eventually relaxed again and remembered what he said, repeating it in her head and seeming to have smiled a bit. Although she wasn't yelling out with enthusiasm about these new members, not that she disliked them, she was quite happy to see more people join the guild.

Unlike those who were cheering these two on, Seiri simply clapped, one of her ways of saying "Congratulations" without words. She, perhaps, was a little too mature to go all out on things like that, and she'd find it a little embarrassed for a grown woman to be doing such. She wasn't a child, but she was far too matured for an adult, that was certain.

Nevertheless, she still was thrilled to see these two girls join the guild. Perhaps she was too thrilled, despite her not showing it was openly as the others, that she didn't hear someone call out for her until nearly a whole minute later. Or maybe that was just because of the noise level that she was so used to. Seiri did have trouble hearing people, even herself, when the guild got loud and excited. This was one of those times.

For a while, she didn't respond to Damia until she recalled what he said a second time once things quieted down, just a little, "Goodmoring Seiri. How's Kohaku doing."

"Hmm?" Seiri stopped fanning herself before noticing someone sitting across from her. She was glad he was bit patient with her since she took a while to even notice someone seating their self right in front of her. But as usual, she gave off a smile and said, "Good morning, dear." She always referred to people that, no matter what age. It was just her motherly habit, "Kohaku? I'm glad someone else worries for him." Seiri said with a hint of relief since not everyone knew about her brother, "That boy's doing fine. I'm just nervous something may happen when I'm away, which is why I may stay home more often. Honestly... I think it's bad for an older sister to leave a poor 10 year old boy at home all day long..." She frowned a bit at the thought, beginning to think if she should go back and check on him, until a loud noise was heard, making her jump from her seat, a second time.

When she turned her head, she saw someone who entered the guild, just... not in the exact... normal way... A wagon was burst straight through the wall. The first thing she thought was that someone was injured, or it someone was in the ride along the way. Just another one of her maternal traits kicking in. The second thought of hers was that this person had drove their vehicle straight into the guild, making a big hole, "W-who's going to pay for all this now... A-and who's the driver? My goodness, are people letting children drive this early?" Seiri had first though it was a child, or a young teen driving, just from intuition since she kept on thinking that all adults were capable of driving.

She began to fan herself with her flabellum, and shouted over the noise and tried to reach the driver of this wagon that had just busted a hole in the guild building, "Are you alright, dear?" Of course that was the first thing she'd ask. If Seiri wasn't overly-motherly, then she obviously wasn't Seiri.

"Kohaku? I'm glad someone else worries for him." Seiri said looking rather relieved to Damia. "I wouldn't say worry. He's a good kid and even with his conditions he seems to also be good at taking care of himself. I just like to make sure he's fine is all. Hehe. It does seem worrisome huh? Well he is practically like my family too sis." Damia said to his big sister in the guild. He called her sis out of love for helping him cope with the guild when he first answered. "That boy's doing fine. I'm just nervous something may happen when I'm away, which is why I may stay home more often. Honestly... I think it's bad for an older sister to leave a poor 10 year old boy at home all day long..." Seiri replied. "Well that's good. Tell him he can always come over to...." Bam. A loud thump hit his ears.

He looked over to the counter where Posco was congratulating the members. It seemed Arianna fell unconscious. This of course made him get out his seat to go and help. His saphire crystal had the power to heal and it could have helped. He was too late however because Posco rushed first and took her to the infirmary. He contemplated having Ruby sneak in and eavesdrop on the conversation they might have been having. Posco looked serious and it interested him. Then, out of nowhere another sound, maybe an animal came from where Posco left his sister. Was it her dog? No. It was her. She had that look on her face. She then walked out the guild hall.

He didn't want to go after her. She was like a mini-Gitana, at least, as far as he could tell with her facial expression. Then he thought about how Posco would feel if he came out the medical room and his sister was gone. The same Posco that gave him a family. Shouldn't he have the right to be with his family to. 'Yeah. More than anything.' He thought to himself as he headed after her.

Exiting the guild he saw her sitting on the edge of the walk way. She seemed to be minding her own business. 'Oh. I guess she wasn't going to leave after all.' He thought. He decided to head back inside when he saw a carriage coming in fast. Too fast for someone sitting down to dodge. And she seemed to not even see it. He quickly dove grabbing he in his arms while taking out his Emerald crystal. "Emerald. Protect. He said as he pulled the girl tighter to increase the protection area. The carriage crashed through them tearing at the seems of the protective barrier that was now around them. When it seemed to past, Damia quickly dropped Emeralds power and asked, "Are you okay?" Smiling that he made it in time.

Koru Hoyicho

Koru couldn’t help but shake his head at the chaos around him. First Posco had done the exact opposite of what he had suggested, Koru couldn’t be surprised by it though. The guild had never turned away a wanting member and it wasn’t the type of group too actually use such things as caution, it didn’t both him all that much in truth. He had expected such a reaction just because he knew them all. As everyone moved into the room he stepped near the back of the crowd, letting the other members gather around to great the newcomers. A small chuckle erupted from him as Arianna fell over the bar, pain obvious over her face. Koru wasn’t happy or amused by the suffering but rather from the fact that he had been right, something was actually going on and he wasn’t actually paranoid about things. As Posco swept her away to the tiny little hospital room Koru moved forward, flitting between people as he moved near the door. On the way he had swept up a drink in his hand, looking like he had just moved forward to great the remaining new comer. Who wasn’t exactly being very receptive to it all at the moment. He leaned against the door, listening in on the conversation. He didn’t hear a whole lot though before Ari ended up leaving the guild hall, that caught Koru’s attention first until he heard a strange rumbling sound.
As a wagon crashed through the wall of the guild Koru couldn’t help but move away from the door, the noise and ensuing chaos causing more than a little noise and making it impossible for him to ease drop anymore. Stepping forward he looked at the scene, a strange man in the wagon and the guilds number one motherly figure rushing to his aid. To say that Koru was a bit confused was a bit of an understatement. Stepping quickly he pushed by Gitana, he whispered to her as he moved by. β€œWelcome home, is this more like the welcome you were expecting?”

Hearing a loud crash, Alatheus lifted his head out of his hands and looked over at the source. Seeing Purple Hair shaking on the floor, he stood up and started rushing over. He slowed to a stop though as Posco rushed her over to the infirmary. He sighed as he stood still, looking towards the closed door. He was worried, of course. But really, Posco would get annoyed by an interruption, and there wasn't really anything that Alatheus could do to help someone that was injured. Plus, he really didn't know what happened in the first place.

Suddenly hearing an odd noise that was growing louder and louder, Alatheus looked around the room. A large wagon at that point crashed straight through the wall of the guild. People started diving out of the way as the wagon barreled straight through the room. Alatheus' eyes narrowed at the wagon heading straight for him. Clapping his hands together, he then reached out with his right hand toward the now dangerously close wagon heading for him. Instantly, dozens of tendrils, seemingly made out of light itself, reached out of the ground right in front of Alatheus. The wagon still racing forward, crunched to a sudden stop as the tendrils grabbed the wagon, instantly bringing it to a halt. His right hand then reached out, extra tendrils snapping out of the existing one, catching the drivers that flew through the air after the wagon's sudden stop. The tendrils slowly grew around the mas Alatheus' hand closed into a fist. Soon the tendrils reached their heads, and slowed down, creeping forward until it almost started covering their mouths.

"Now then," Alatheus started, his voice filled with barely restrained anger. "Would you like to tell me why you saw fit to destroy my guild's hall and endanger everyone's lives? I don't like when non-guild members do something like that."

Posco Sebhat

Posco listened carefully, remembering every detail down to the breaths. The X on her chest was proof enough for him. "Well," he started as he leaned back in the chair, "you have come to the right place. Every person in this guild will back you up. Thats a fact." Posco stood, ruffling Arianna's hair slightly. "If you need help, with anything, come to me. I may be an old man, but I know a thing or two about defeating people stronger than me. Doneit plenty of times. Only reason Im Guild Master ..... at least thats what I think." He placed his hand on the doorknob, continuing to look at Arianna. "This is going to be hard. I know my Guild mates, they will ask questions. It up to you whether or not you answer them. But Ill tell you this, you are in for one hell of a journey." As he twisted the knob, his face, along with the air in the room, changed. "You should stay with a team, since you're new." To anyone outside, their conversation was about anything but what they spoke about. One of Posco's better abilities. "Ill get some water for you, Arianna, food too."

When Posco stepped outside, he never expected to see what he did. The guild hall was usually trashed ..... but was there always a wagon in the middle of it? A giant hole sat in the wall, all Posco could think was, Who plans on paying for that? He carefully made his way to the side of th wagon, where some of the members were already gathered. Seiru was hovering over the driver, conveying her normal motherly concern. Posco bit his thumbnail and puffed up his cheeks. It was his way of not murdering someone. "Can someone explain to me," he said in a calm tone, "why there is a gaping hole in the wall and a wagon inside our Guild Hall?"

Ari Tunnelly

It might have been the fact that depression had deafened Suna and Ari, but the wagon barreling towards them didnt register until someone had grabbed her, made her pass through it and spoke to her. "Are you okay?" Suna had been just far away enough that he saw what happened, somewhat shocked. Ari herself lookeds up to meet an unfamiliar smiling face. She quickly pushed away, grabbing her guitar strap outof habit and glared.

"I could have dodged that! I didnt need your help!" Suna turned his head quickly, snapping out of his shock and moved over to her.

"You would have been crushed. You should be thanking him." Suna smiled the way dogs did as Ari turned red from trying to hold in her protests. For once, she couldnt deny it.

"As if! Thank him for what?! Scaring my half to death? No thank you." She looked up at the boy. "You're from Fairy Tail. Well, Im Crawler! This is Suna. If you've lived here in the past, you probably already know me. Everyone did. No one liked me but everyone knew me." Ari stood tall, which didnt amount to much, and pointed angrily at the boy. "Prepare to get crushed cause Im gonna surpass all you wimps! Especially that idiot Posco! After I get through with this Guild, none of you will want to show your faces ever again!" Ari proudly smiled as she stood with her hands on her hips.

"My apologies," Suna butt in, "She's a little high strung. She means no harm, truly. Her dream is just that, a dream. She wont be challenging anyone anytime soon."

Takeshi slowly dug himself out of the rubble. The suit had a tear, the thieves were surrounded by mages, and he was in a heap of trouble. His motorcycle was as good as junk by now, making Takeshi forget about escaping. Not that he wanted to, but he needed to apologize...

That would have been easy, of course, if he wasn't within arm's reach of some of Magnolia Town's best mages. He has heard stories of people who crossed their paths, and suffered the consequences.

"I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry!" Takeshi cried out, bowing again and again as he repeated those words. "I was trying to stop these thieves from getting away from a crime! I never intended to make their escape vehicle crash into your headquarters! I tried to stop this from happening! Please, don't kill me, please!"

"Now is a good time to run..." he thought.

As was inevitable, it wouldn't be long until the Fairy Tail members were back to their chaotic selves. What Gitana couldn't predict, however, was some group of total strangers deciding that the guild's headquarters needed a drive-through – Quite literally.

She was late to react, then again that did not matter in any significant way – Probably because every single mage in this building was pretty capable of handling minor situations like this. Just, for one day? Couldn't Gitana take a break for one day, in the guild mind you, and have no interruptions whatsoever?

Honestly it was a daily routine to clean up the mess, anger was, indeed, overflowing again – As was emphasized when an empty glass bottle was shattered dangerously close to one of perpetrators.

Standing up from her seat, the woman slowly walked up to the general direction said crash was taking place. Again, the quick reactions of the others were reason enough to take it steady and slow, although Kuro found it a necessity to rush by her and ask if this was more akin to her kind of welcome.

Gitana did not respond, merely took up a position near Alatheus, who had single-handedly managed to tame the giant bull crashing their comfortable home, and simply... observed. Either that, or the S-class was still amazed at her little brother's actions. Though mostly skill. He had grown again, hadn't he? The corners of her mouth managed to sneak into a smile, turning to face Alatheus briefly.

However, said smile instantly dissipated as more troublesome troubles were at hand. If these goons were actually dumb enough to make a foolish move, every single member of the Fairy Tail family would be at their throat. β€œCat got your tongue? Speak up!” Gitana demanded, inching closer to the debris that housed most of the people that had done the deed.

β€œI'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry!” Came a response form a figure dressed rather... Weirdly to say the least. β€œI was trying to stop these thieves from getting away from a crime! I never intended to make their escape vehicle crash into your headquarters! I tried to stop this from happening! Please, don't kill me, please!”

Gitana raised an eyebrow. Kill? Went a little thought through her mind. She believed, far worse punishments were going to be set into motion. However, decisions weren't up to her at this point, that was left to their Guild Master...

Arianna Hasani

Arianna nodded as Posco got up and left the room, turning her eyes to the window. Her expression was carefully blank but there was a faint sense of turmoil. Had she done the right thing? Telling him everything just like that?

Well, then again, Posco was her new guild master and she wanted everyone to trust her. And trust was built on the truth, painful as the truth may be. But though she felt it was neccessary to tell her new guild master, was the alright to tell her new guild members yet? They seemed friendly enough but they wouldn't be as open minded as Posco was. How could they be? She was new and had probably already left a not-so-good impression on them. And it wasn't their job to take on new comers with open arms, though it did seem that they made an effort to. Perhaps it would be best, at least for the time being, that she kept mostly to herself and didn't answer too many questions.

Nodding slightly to strengthen her resolve she took a few tenative breaths, feeling the protective stone coating over her heart reform and the numbness in her body fade again. Once she got a firm grip on herself she pushed the covers aside and slowly got out of bed, once again a blank slate. She glanced at her mark and though she felt pleased, she allowed herself no more than that. Confident once again that she would be able to hold her own she faces the door and leaves the room.

Though she was emotionally prepared for anything, she hadn't exactly expected the sight she saw in the guild hall.

First thing she noticed was a gaping hole in the wall, second a man standing on topof a cart being yelled at by all the guild members and desperately begging for forgiveness, and thirdly the air of a soon to be riot. 'I can't let a riot break out on my first day in Fairy Tail.' she thinks, still standing unseen against the furthest wall, somewhat in the shadows. Raising her hand she makes a small sweeping gesture, thinking, 'Emotion Magic; Tenderness Spell. Peace.' casting a mass spell on the guild which would simply calm them down again. Quietly, as she preformed the spell, she said, "Everyone, please calm down..."

Posco Sebhat

β€œI'm so sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry!” Came a response form a figure dressed rather... Weirdly to say the least. β€œI was trying to stop these thieves from getting away from a crime! I never intended to make their escape vehicle crash into your headquarters! I tried to stop this from happening! Please, don't kill me, please!” Posco grinned a little. So that was the type of guild people thought they were. It was amusing to say the least. Only really the people of Magnolia knew who they were .... well, not completely. Posco's happy smile was replaced with a rather downcast one, once again remembering the gaping hole in the guild.

β€œCat got your tongue? Speak up!” Gitana said. Ah, Gitana is home. How nice, Posco thought. Gitana was an amazing mage. He had always been suprised he had been chosen as Guild Master and not her.

"Well first things first," Posco said, rubbing his temples out of annoyance. It got somewhat quiet as a wave of serenity hit, effecting most, and Posco sent a glance to where he knew Arianna was hiding. Huh, he thought. "Bruno, Misery, if you wouldn't mind removing said criminals from here and take them to the proper authorities. Alatheus, my boy, how about you show off your strength and get this out of here," he motioned to the wagon, then looking at the masked boy. "And you," he started, letting realistic anger seep into his voice. "You better thank the heavens I'm in a wonderful mood at the moment. I don't have to explain what would have happened if I wasn't. I'll let your little imagination run wild with that." Posco pointed to the hole. "Have it fixed by tomorrow morning. Or else." As Posco's cheerfulness returned, he looked to the rest of the guild with a smile. "And all my little brawlers out there. If you wouldn't mind straightening up everything you thoughtfully smashed, it would help." It was all he had to say, so he made his way to the back of the guild and pat Arianna on the head. "Now how about that food?"

Ari Tunnelly

"Wait a second." He said wiping fake tears from his face. "You mean your that Crawler? The one that everyone talks about." Ari nodded, arms still crossed, but her face dropped at what he said next. "Never heard of you." He then said laughing a little more. "I just entered the guild a few years back. Never hear of a Crawler. I did here stories of a baby who looked so cute when she crawled, however. Let me think. When Posco talked about her, what did he say her name was. Oh that's right. His little sister Ari. Isn't that your real name. Heard it myself at your introduction. I think people liked you from the stories I've heard. Hehe. My names Damia." He said, taking out a bunch of .... Crystals. "This is Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. Ruby's the only one capable of talking at the moment."

"Howdy." The Ruby crystal spoke. "Awwww. Your just as adorable as Posco mentioned." He teased, causing Ari to bite her tongue to hold back the anger. Damia laughed at the Crystal's comment. "Alright that's enough out of you." He said, putting the Crystals back into a cases. He stuck his hand out to shake hers. "Welcome to the Fairy Tail guild." He said, once again giving a friendly smile. Ari was breathing heavily, digging her nails into her palms and continuing to bite her tongue.

"You can shove that hello right up your--"

"Ari," Suna said sharply, interrupting her.

"Ass," Ari shouted at the two as she swatted Damia's hand away. People stared. They can all go to hell. Ari crosse her arms, glaring intently at the guild. "Your going down first, stupid." Her eyes flashed to Damia so he knew she was speaking to him. "Come on Suna! We're going to talk to Posco about this."

"No," Suna said simply.

"What?"

"You heard me. I said no. You're ruining your chances at a normal life in this guild by making people hate you. Now be nice."

"Ari! Ari," Posco was shouting through the hole in the guild. "Come give us some music!" Posco ran out and grabbed both Ari and Damia, pulling them back into the guild. "Everyone has to clean, so you should keep it up beat with a song! I guess you stayed with your gut and decided to become a Songstress!" Posco let go of Damia and pat the bar, signalling for Ari to stand on it. But Ari dodged the task by spotting Arianna and pulling her back into the infirmary. Slamming the door and locking it, she turned to Arianna and looked her straight in the eyes.

"What do you think of this guild? Please tell me Im not the only one who hates it here."

"You can shove that hello right up your--Ass," Ari said to Damia. He didn't know why but for some reason she had hostility towards him. Towards the guild even. 'Hmmm. tow mysterious girls come in today. One's obviously has a sadness or loneliness or whatever about her, the other has an anger, or hate, or whatever. So, in final judgement, I should..... try to give her a pound instead of a handshake and give the same to the other new girl. Pounds are more friendlier than handshakes.' He thought to himself.

Just as he was about to go for the pound, Posco's voice called out her name. "Ari! Ari," He said, "Come give us some music!" Afterwards he proceeded to grab both Damia and Ari and carry them back to the guild. 'What type of music was he talking about. Damia learned how to play the violin from his grandpa but he didn't think that he would enjoy playing it in front of people he didn't know. Especially girls. "Everyone has to clean, so you should keep it up beat with a song! I guess you stayed with your gut and decided to become a Songstress!"

'On second thought playing the violin does sound better than cleaning.' He thought. 'Wait?......' "Songstress!!!?" He blurted out loud, quickly covering his mouth to suppress the laughter. 'Hey boss. Crawler must be her idol name.' Ruby said in his mind. Damia was almost about to pass out from the sheer force of air being blocked by his hand, trying to escape from his nose and mouth.

As soon as Posco let them both go, Ari bolted towards Arianna, who was just as out of it as always, and headed back into the infirmary. 'Why does that girl look so strange to me?' he thought. Then he turned to Posco. "Hey Posco, why is your sister so," He had to find the words to describe his sister without making Posco angry or worry, "so........so........ummmm..........rough around the edges? I mean she wanted to be here but now it seems like she doesn't want to." He explained. He couldn't really tell how, but he knew that both girls deep down wanted to be apart of the guild. Even if one was angry and the other was ....... awkward, he could still tell that they belonged there.

Posco Sebhat

"Hey Posco, why is your sister so," Damia paused for a second before continuing, "so ........ so ........ ummmm .......... rough around the edges? I mean she wanted to be here but now it seems like she doesn't want to." He explained. Posco looked off to where Ari had ran off and dragged Arianna away. It was obvious it was all his fault.

"You see Damia," Posco said as he sat ontop of the bar. "Ari felt like I abandoned her when I left to join Fairy Tail. Especially since it was the guild she had grown up around. I'm sure she expected something .... bigger. Some of the things she hates most in life is the concept of family and fun. When she saw this, I guess she was bitterly disappointed. She masks any eotion she feels with anger. That's what makes her so cute," Posco tried to finish off on a lighter note. He was going to definitely have to talk to her about it all.

"She didn't hit you with her guitar, did she? I remember when she got that thing all she would do with it is beat the crap outta me." He laughed slightly, but still felt a twinge of guilt for not living up to what his little sister wanted him to be. But being an evil dictator wasn't that much of a better option. "She'll warm up in no time." Then he turned back to Damia. "So you can talk to her without fainting? That's good! I would hate putting anymore pressure on you."

"You see Damia," Posco began explaining as he sat atop the bar. "Ari felt like I abandoned her when I left to join Fairy Tail. Especially since it was the guild she had grown up around. I'm sure she expected something .... bigger. Some of the things she hates most in life is the concept of family and fun. When she saw this, I guess she was bitterly disappointed. She masks any emotion she feels with anger. That's what makes her so cute,"

"I guess." Damia said. "She kinda cursed me out, hehe." He rubbed his hair around in embarrassment for being verbaly beaten and mentally beaten by two different girls.

"She didn't hit you with her guitar, did she? I remember when she got that thing all she would do with it is beat the crap outta me." Posco laughed while saying this but Damia could tell just from knowing her that Posco wasn't just joking. "Nah. I saved her life sort of, so I guess she spared me." 'Although she didn't say thank you.' Damia thought as Posco brought up a most asked question. "So you can talk to her without fainting? That's good! I would hate putting anymore pressure on you." It wasn't a really strange question for him. He didn't really know how to explain it himself but he's lived so long with it he thought he could say something to make sense of it.

"Well," Damia began explaining, "She didn't do anything to remind me of my mom or the type of girls I'm ... ahem... uncomfortable around. It was nothing really flirtatious like a wink or a kiss blow, plus the fact that I kinda saw her as a younger person. She doesn't really seem like a indirect person, but let's just say she's too direct to cause a reaction. Yeah... I think that's right. But, don't worry GMP, I think of you as a big brother and if she's part of your family then she's part of mine too. That goes for the other newcomer as well. hehehe. I'm more than willing to help them get accustomed to the guild." Damia said. His chest was a little puffed out for taking up the responsibility. Secretly, however, he was really thinking, 'Oh man I hope he doesn't make me form a team. I've gone years just bouncing off of random teams and I like it that way and there's the fact that handling two girls at once just might kill me. Scratch that, Ari might kill me and Arianna would probably just watch. Oh no I can see it now.' Unknown to him, the more he thought about it the more he looked like he had seen the most horrible thing in the world. His expression of fear wasn't even hidden to the man infront of him.

It soon changed to an expression of a man who just had the best idea in the world. 'I know. I'll just snatch a mission and take about two weeks doing it and I'll say I was attacked by bears or something. Yeah, That'll give them time to form a team of their own and I can still run solo. Hehehe.' With the laugh inside his head, he look rather menacing at this point. Anyone looking at him while he thought would've thought him to be a villain. He turned back to Posco.

"Anyway. Hehehe." He laughed awkwardly, finally snapping out of his own thought process. "I'm sure both girls will grow accustomed to the guild. Remember me? It took me almost a month, but then you guys showed me that I had people that cared about me. When people care about you it's hard not to feel at home." He said, flashing Posco a wide smile.

"And you," said a man Takeshi assumed to be the Guild Master, "You better thank the heavens I'm in a wonderful mood at the moment. I don't have to explain what would have happened if I wasn't. I'll let your little imagination run wild with that." The Guild Master pointed to the hole. "Have it fixed by tomorrow morning. Or else."

"Yes sir..." Takeshi replied, hopping off the rubble and looked at the hole. He crashed into the main entrance, so he had a wall and a door to worry about.

"Let's see what I have here..." Takeshi said, bringing out his deck of cards from his right pocket. "Hmm...Flame, Aqua, Root, Flash...oh, there you are!"

He held out a card with a muscular being with assorted tools. "Lend me our power...Hesphaetus the builder!" he chanted. A holographic copy of the card emerged and grew to Takeshi's size. Takeshi passed through it, and the image transformed into a backpack with six mechanical arms and a tool box and tool belt. Takeshi's helmet gained a hardhat and safety goggles, too. He looked at the broken wagon and some of the rubble.

"Let's do this..." he told himself as he started to work on the wall.
