Jinny Pearle's Story

Jinny got off of Crow's back.
"I tire'...", he said, leaning against a tree.
"Don't worry, i have plenty of food and water in the ship. I'm going to pack a bunch of other things besides medkits".
Just then, the angel walked up to Jinny and said, "Hay, do yo know wha' Love i?", curiously.

Jinny was stunned. Why would someone not know what the word "love" means? Despite being shocked, Jinny just smiled and said,
"Yes, i do". Jinny made up to the top of her ship, to the hatch, and entered her password. She called out to the angel behind her,
"to love something means to care about that thing very much, very passionately. It also means to have a strong spiritual attachment with something. As they say, 'A loving heart is the beginning of all knowledge'".

"i hope that answered your question", Jinny said with a kind smile. The sky started to become dark, and Jinny could see the faint light of the moon. "We better hurry up". Jinny opened the hatch on the top of the ship. She looked over at Crow and said, "You can come in if you like". Jinny jumped through the large hatch, started to walk, and then remembered something. She poked her head out of the hatch, and said to the angel, "that's right, i still don't know your name. I don't think i properly introduced myself either. I'm Jinny Pearle". Jinny put her hand out for Crow to shake.

Crow

Crow's eyebrow raised up in confusion. So to love something meant the same as to like something, only...greater.

Jinny's voice interrupted his thoughts and the Angel looked up at the girl. "Oh, Mah name i' Crow, evn dough I dink i' Chike oh somepin." He repeats from the first time he met Kara. "I li' Crow's. Dat's why I go' dis name." He says with a smile before flying up and grabbing hold of Jinny's outstretched hand. After a second or two, he only held her hand not knowing what else to do since she offered it to him so he shook it slightly in a bit of confusion before flying into the ship and out of the cold weather.

Gray

Gray somberly walked through the temple before the pattering of footsteps could be heard behind him. Gray looked behind him and saw his trusted messenger, a dark Angel by the name of Xerxes. He to had a cloak like robe on him but it concealed his entire face to anyone making him look similar to the Grim Reaper. The angel with huge white wings stopped in front of the large man and bowed his head a bit before speaking.

"Gray master, there has been a tremendous amount of power coming from Mount Cheyenne." Gray raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Is that so...?" The dark Angel nodded, his black cape blowing a bit win the wind making his appearance even more frightening. This didn't phase Gray though. "Hmm...What sort of power?" Gray said with a hint of interest. "Dark power, I sense it is from the powerful Dervish. Angel of-" "death. I know..." Gray interrupts in annoyance. Xerxes steps back a bit before continuing. "I think it may be from the Dervish Pandora..." Grays eyes widen and his head darts up at Xerxes. "Fool! Why didn't you tell me this sooner!" He snarls before putting a hand up to his head. "Ugh...When is she getting here?" He asks with interest of his former follower. "Any moment master..." Gray's eyes bolt up at the ceiling before he smiles. "Great...Then I shall prepare a feast for the Angel of Death herself."

Xerxes was a bit confused and by the way he talked you could tell he had his eyebrow raised. "A feast Master?" Gray looks over at the giant winged Angel before sighing. "Yes, a feast. She must be hungry after all those years in that cursed box..." He says with amusement. "Oh, alright then master." Xerxes says before walking back down the hallways while Gray looks down the corridor that holds the kitchen. "Yes, now I must prepare the feast..." He says to himself with a smirk before walking down the corridor to prepare for Pandora's entrance.

Jinny let go of the side of the hatch and her feet touched the ship floor again.
She reached for the door to close the hatch, and slammed it.
Jinny's ship almost looked bigger on the inside than the outside.
Jinny's control panel consisted of a ball pad controller, and many touch screens circled around a huge cushiony chair.
Behind the control panel lied an orange hammock, a grey medium sized fridge, orange countertops, and a tan circular couch with some sort of communication device in the center (almost like the hologram sending machines in starwars) The inside of the ship was very bright despite the fact that the inside looked dark from the outside.

"Crow?....that's a nice name. hmmm......" Jinny grabbed a big orange backpack (orange was her favorite color) and started packing it with medkits located on the orange countertop near the fridge. As she packed she said, "Crow, you can help yourself to anything in the fridge". She patted her hand on the fridge, just in case Crow didn't know what it was. To cease the silence, Jinny asked Crow, "So, how did you first meet Kara?"

Crow nodded a bit and opened the fridge and was amazed as cold air rushed into his face. "Whoa!" He says excitedly before rummaging around in the fridge. He was always hungry in the forest. A few fruits, bugs, and vegetables weren't going to cut it. Especially if the boy was just hitting the line of puberty.

Crow dug into the back of the fridge unsure of what most of these foods were. In curiosity, he picked up a bag filled with small slices of yellow stuff. Almost orange, in fact. He looked around the bag for a second or two. In big print in the front it had, 'S-H-A-R-P C-H-E-D-D-E-R'. Well, that didn't do him much good because, he couldn't read. Crow raised an eyebrow and began to twist the bag around in his hands trying to find a way to open it. He eventually had to sit down out of exhaustion of the flight, but he continued looking.

At the moment he was barely listening to Jinny because of his preoccupation but managed to hear the question nevertheless. "Huh? Oh, I found her near duh bi' black shootin' stahr." He says to Jinny. "She wa' very wet an' very sad dat her frien Sam, I dink, die'..." He says sadly before his eyes rested on the bag on his lap. He immediately picked it up and began searching for an opening. He had no idea what kind of food it was but he was going to find out.

Crow started to get a little frustrated before growling and throwing the food at the wall of the ship. "Dum' food!" He growls before pouting in defeat and dismay.

A shooting star? Crow must've meant the ship that crashed. For a second, Jinny thought about all the other friends Kara had that died in the crash. Kara must've been devestated. Jinny could relate. She was almost as hurt as Kara when her parents had died.

Jinny was done packing the medkits. She put other things in the backpack like flashlights, rope, a pocket knife, glasses for eye protection, a big blanket, some matches, foldable raincoats, and extra bullets (just in case Damien ran out or if Kara had a gun).

Jinny was about to pack the food, when she heard Crow shout, "Dum' food!"
Jinny laughed, picked up the food lying next to the wall, opened it, and gave it to Crow, giggling.

She looked in the fridge and packed MANY bottles of water, trail mix, and many packaged and canned items.

When she was done, She slung the backpack over her shoulder and said to Crow, "Alright Crow, when you're ready, let's go meet Damien and Lara......sorry, I meant KARA......gosh, i am so horrible at remembering some names....". She muttered the last part of the sentence.

"I would drive the ship into the jungle, but looking at all the crashes in the Serakin jungle, I don't want to be another victim. Plus, i heard there was this 'demon-triangle-thing' that crashed a whole bunch of ships back in the day. i forget what it was called....."

Jinny

"Alright Crow, let's go!"

Jinny made her way to the hatch, opened it, jumped through, and stood on the ship. She waited for Crow to come out of the hatch. There were no sounds anywhere from the plains the ship was located in, but as Jinny waited for Crow, she swore she could hear some faint noise. From where she was standing, It sounded like the sound was coming from the south......from the jungle. Another ship crash? No, if it was a ship crash, there would be more sound. So what was it? Jinny paid more attention, and assumed the sound was screaming. If it was screaming, whatever it was that was making the screaming was angry. She feared for Damien and Kara's lives.

Pipa and Piper

It was a peaceful night for Pipa and Piper as they flew their dragons across the starry sky. Pipa made plans to hunt on the seashores of Serakin, since the girls had never set foot on a soft beach before. Since summer was coming, marine life was in high demand, and the twins didn't want to miss the oppurtunity to strike a fortune. Pipa proposed a plan to reach the beach at night, camp out, and then hunt in the morning when the sea creatures would be out.

When the twins finally found the seashore in the dark, the landed their dragons, and lit their lamps. They both felt the gentle touch of the sand for the first time. Pipa jumped around in it, while Piper cringed with every step.

Pipa ran out to the water, eager to feel the coolness of the waves, when suddenly, she noticed the hundreds of ripped tails, The touch of red blood on the flowing waves, and even some of the mermaid carcasses, resting on the sandbars.

"Evom ot siht tops....",("Come here...") Pipa called out to Piper. Piper ran quickly over and saw the chaos as well.

"hoog, morfil thaw a dreh, a tha teh shretaw an teh eros dow eb tsuj sa spik sa teh dahns."
("gosh, from what i heard, i thought the waters on the beach would be just as clean as the sand.")

"Piper, ese mermaids eeva neeb slaed tsuj wun."
("Piper, these mermaids have been killed just now.")

The twins looked at each other with a serious glare. The decided to look for survivors.

"HELLO!!!!", Piper shouted, "CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?!?"

Crow

Crow nodded and flew outside, stuffing the bag of food in the inside pocket of his coat as to protect it from the rain. He then looked towards Jinny, just as a sound pierced the pitter patter of rain and hail. Crow shudders in anxiety and the cold before scooping up Jinny in his arms and leaping into the air and slowly, tiredly, flying into the air with a steady beat of his wings. He panted a bit for air before flying straight over the forest. His feet barely touching the tips of tall trees. Nevertheless, his eyes were like a hawks, scanning the forest floor for the shooting stars. His eyes then spotted the black chunks of metal between the trees and growth. He sighed before tilting towards the wreckage and downward toward earth.

After a small amount of time passed, the two eventually landed on the forest floor safely.

Nereus

Nereus roared as the ice beam made first contact with his scaly skin. It instantly froze almost half of the serpents body including the sea around it. He growls and gapes his mouth. A blue light emanating from the serpents maw and back of throat before it tilted it's head toward the frozen part of the sea, near his body. In a matter of seconds, a bright blue beam of energy blasted from the serpents mouth making his head bolt back a bit. It made contact with the ice in the sea and water, causing it to crack all around it's body before the ice started falling off the serpent in massive shards. It looked over at the direction the mermaid went and growled before his eyes looked up at the sky. There he saw two dragons landing near the beach shore a good ways away. they either saw him or not but right now, Nereus was ready for a late night snack, and dragons just happened to be the best animal that's suitable for this massive beast.

Nereus let out another growl that sounded much like a moan underwater. He then dipped his head into the sea followed by his incredibly long body. After his body was completely submerged, he began to scope the area of the beach, looking for a deep enough spot where he can nab those dragons. At another angle though, he realized there were another creatures there as well. Quite to small for him to eat so he ignored them whilst getting into position. He let his body sink to the floor except his head, half of his neck and tail. He used his serpentine body to keep him moving so it appeared as if he was rested on the bottom but he was actually hovering just above the sea floor. Head pointing directly at the dragons.

Unlike most serpents, Nereus was smart. So smart that he pushed up the sand around the beach waters making the water appear murky and hard to sea in so his body was concealed by the dirty water. He also managed to kick up the sand around the other parts of the beach during scoping, so it wouldn't appear suspicious that only one part of the beach was murky. His whisker like tentacles on the bottom of his jaw felt around his head and on the sea floor making sure he kept a good enough distance away from the floor. A moment later, all four of his bright blue eyes opened before he opened his mouth, making the water collapse into the serpents mouth before his massive head broke the surface.

Jinny

When Crow landed on the jungle floor, Jinny got off his back and said, "thanks again, Crow." Jinny reverted back to her serious personality. Even though Kara and Damien were close by, Jinny sprinted anyway. It seemed as if Damien had changed Kara in an oversized jacket and huge cargo pants. Kara was cuddling next to Damien, and Jinny couldn't help but think, "lovebirds."

She squatted next to Damien and opened her backpack. "I brought a ton of medkits, as well as food. Help yourself." Before she gave the backpack to Damien, she grabbed a raincoat for herself and put it on. She pulled her hood up, tucking in her pearly-blonde hair, and started to nap under a tree.

Pipa and Piper

Piper's scream when she saw Nereus was blood curdling.
Piper had dropped her lamp on Pipa's foot, but Pipa didn't notice; she was pulling out her bow as fast as she could.

"FITE NOSITOP!!! WUN!!!"
("FIGHT POSTION!!! NOW!!!")

Despite her fear, Piper obeyed, and the two started to shoot their arrows towards the beast. Did the sea monster have ONE or TWO heads?
Was it in the water, or bursting through the sand? Was it REALLY that big? Was it a dream or reality? Pipa and Piper didn't know, they just kept shooting.

Despite Piper's brilliant shots, the monster still seemed to be alive. Was he too far away? The twins had no idea. As the booming sound of the dragon's roars hit Pipa, the purpose of the monster finally dawned upon her.

"PIPER!!! TRIMPS UT TEH DRAGONS!!! MIA UT TOOSH TA TRIMPSINGAL!!! YERT ROFAL TAUGHT GHINT'S GIWO AW!!!"
("PIPER!!! RUN TO THE DRAGONS!!! TRY TO SHOOT WHILE RUNNING!!! AIM FOR THAT THING'S GLOWING EYE!!!")

Piper nodded upon getting Pipa's message. The twins kept shooting at the monster while sprinting with all their strength towards the dragons. Pipa wasn't worried about the dragons getting hurt, but about the dragons being lost forever.

Nereus

Nereus roared in anger as annoying little arrows collided with armory skin. He growled and looked towards the way the arrows were coming from and found that it was the two smaller creatures shooting them. Nereus hissed, spraying water out onto the sand before more of hid neck lurks out of the water before he dives toward the smaller creatures only for his massive head to hit he sand. The elves had already run towards the dragon and because of how his eyes were placed on his head he couldn't have seen them.

One of Nereus's weak spots you would call it. The serpent slowly pulled it's head off the beach and looked towards the dragons. He wasn't fast out of water, but in water, he could probably beat the elves to the dragons. Before the serpent had moved, a small little arrow had lodged itself right into the serpents right eye. Nereus roared in agony and anger shaking the arrow off. When he opened his eye though, nothing could be seen but a blurry red cloud. He roared once again. Oh well, Gray could fix this and for now, he would have to rely on the second right eye. Nereus shook the pain away before snaking his way into the water.

Passing the elves by mere feet, the serpent bolted forth out of the water, once again gaping his mouth, only this time, nothing but a blue beam of shear energy burst out of his mouth. He wasn't aiming at the dragons(He preferred his catches alive) but at the jungle in an attempt to scare the elves away or block their path.

Crow

Crow nods and heads over to a tree, with fan like branches. He slowly crawls under a low hanging one and shifts the branches above him so that their big leaves would shield Crow from the rain and hail. When he was through, he sits down on the soft moss, taking out his now favorite food, and stuffing himself on the delectable taste.

Damien clasped his chest piece to his back piece, but left his helmet off, then walked around the inside of the Helicopter, searching for anymore gear he could salvage while Kara was unconscious, stopping to check on her now and again.
He sat down next to her, but felt her stir and then pull herself closer to him, cuddling up against his torso. Damien slipped an armored arm around her, keeping his cybernetic arm clasped on his Spit-Fire. Noise at the door startled him, causing him to lift the Sub-machinegun as a figure came through, but he relaxed when he saw it was Jinny bringing medkits.
I brought a ton of medkits, as well as food. Help yourself.", Jinny said before leaving the helicopter to nap under a tree.
Kara slowly got up and walked just outside the helicopter, about 10 feet away and still in Damien's view.
Hey, Damien.. Do you think that me and you..-", Kara begin to say, but trailed off.
Damien looked down at his hands and smiled, but the smile faded when he heard a click of a weapon being readied, and began to get up. Damien was startled by a nearby earsplitting scream of pain, his stomach dropping when he realized it was Kara. He leaped out of the helicopter and aimed his Sub-machinegun at the hooded figure's back who had just dropped Kara on the ground. He saw the gaping hole from Kara's back to her chest, and let out an inhuman scream of rage he didn't know he was capable of, breaking the wall of discipline he had worked his whole life to build, and unleashed a torrent of shredder rounds from the Spit-Fire towards Kara's assailant.

"Mortals irritate me.", the figure said.
Damien blinked when the Hooded figure dissappeared. He felt a presence behind him, but before he could spin around, he was struck in the back with enough force to knock him on his face. He instinctively let go of the Spit-fire and caught himself on his hands, pushing himself back up, only to get struck again on top of his shoulder. The impact was jarring and knocked him onto his knees, thankfully his impact plating absorbed the most harmful part of the strike, but it still caused searing pain in the injury he had received from the Spider.
"Just lay down and die. Your presence isn't needed.", she continued.
Damien dodge-rolled forward and spun around as he finished the roll, facing his attacker. He pulled out his survival knife, flipping it in his cybernetic hand and slid his P28 out of it's leg holster, but paused when he saw the hooded woman healing Kara.
"It's better to watch them suffer. Although you prefer to end it quickly.." , she smiled at a Damien, a cold smile as it was.
Damien realized he was over-matched, but he couldn't leave Kara, the best he could do was distract the powerful Serakin until Jinny and Crow arrived.
The soldier lifted the pistol up and fired several rounds at the Hooded woman, and lifted his survival knife up in a defensive position.

Jinny

Jinny woke up right when Crow was creeping into the shadows.

All throughout the battle, Jinny swung through the trees and tried to get a charged shot of plasma at Pandora, but to no avail. After one of Damien's bullets hit her, Jinny saw tornadoes. Many tornadoes. She breathed hard, and she felt her muscles start to get tense. She felt like she was about to fall out of the tree she was in. Jinny had post-traumatic stress disorder, and out of anyone, Jinny suffered most from her fear. She was just about to faint, when Crow's dart hit her, and the tornadoes were gone.

Jinny regained her composure, and kept aiming. Suddenly, the monster made two fireballs in her hands. "It's time to play..", she said, looking directly at Crow. Jinny gasped. She didn't think Crow would be able to dodge those fireballs. However, Jinny knew that when the monster striked at Crow, she would have her chance.

When Pandora's fireballs almost hit Crow, Jinny swung down from the tree, got behind Pandora, and shot her plasma beam directly at Pandora. Being fully charged, the beam should have killed or at least paralyzed her. To be safe, Jinny quickly switched her pistol to whip mode, and wrapped her coil around Pandora's neck. (almost like a lasso)

Pipa and Piper

Pipa had just made it to Hyoushi when the sea monster passed the elves and dragons and shot a blue beam of light at the jungle in front of the elves, setting fire to some trees. This didn't scare Pipa, but for Piper it was terrifying.

"PIPER!!PEEK TRIMPSINGAL!!!!"
("PIPER!! KEEP RUNNING!!!"), Pipa shouted. Piper obeyed. Pipa started to fly on Hyoushi. When Pipa started to fly, Piper made it on Rawzah. Rawzah started to fly as well. Pipa was about to shoot Nereus from above, when she felt that she had no arrows left.

"PIPER!!! YERT ARAVAIN!!!"
("PIPER!!! AIM AGAIN!!!")

While Hyoushi started to spout fire at the beast, Piper got out her bow again and aimed at the monster. With only 4 arrows left, Piper became worried. She calmed herself down, and thought to herself "aim for the eye, aim for the eye." With one clean sweep, Piper aimed for the eye. She didn't know where the arrow went because she covered her eyes after she shot the arrow.

Astrad was startled by the sudden appearance of the winged creature as it dove behind him. The Woman before them looked similar, most likely the same creature. Astrad turned his cold, steely gaze at Crow then turned back to the fighting. He kept ever so more defensive as he clenched his fists ready to strike if attacked. Seeing the magic performed however, reminded him of his training. They said be wary of magic for it is unlike anything here in Nexis. Astrad wasn't worried he would be prepared to go in and take out the assailant. In fact he was going to have too. These people may have answers to his questions and that is an opportunity he cannot let go off. Watching the woman carefully he was planning his next course of action. Should he attack? Or Should he stand by? The answer unknown to him. He felt that the first option should be the only one. After all he has reasons for placing himself in harm's way not to mention it felt like it was the right thing to do. Maybe he should use the Gun on his back? That could do the trick. Once again though more flashbacks occurred once he thought about the weapon. He doesn't even know much about it aside from it being very powerful. That might not be the best course. On the off chance that the Nex Mucro would end up harming both parties. Astrad would have to do something eventually, after all this woman may notice him sooner or later and by that time he would have to be the first one to strike.

Then Astrad noticed a new fighter has arrived as the new woman made her attack against the winged one. From her appearance and weaponry, she too was from Nexis. Astrad once again saw more projectiles fired at the assailant as the newcomer wrapped a whip around the flying woman's neck. Perhaps this is Astrad's opportunity. Maybe the woman's attack will succeed? Just to be safe he prepared to attack once this encounter has come to a conclusion.

Nereus

Nereus chattered deep within his throat, almost sounding like chuckling as the fire from the dragons seemed useless. He began to growl in annoyance and gaped his mouth exposing his two rows of teeth, he bit down in an attempt to nab one of the dragons but his actions were too slow. His whiskers which were oddly on the bottom of his mouth, felt around the air but even this didn't help.

After about 5 seconds, this was becoming very annoying to the serpent. His tail lurched out of the water and began swiping at the dragons, moments later, the worst thing happened to the snake like monster. Another arrow had lodged itself right in the middle of the serpents eye. Yet again on the same side its other eye had been hit. The serpent let out the most ear splitting roar anyone could hear before it shook its head violently. The arrow though remained in its eye.

It began to hum and whine in agony. the other arrow wasn't so deep, this one though was through his pupil. He roars once again in yet another attempt to take the arrow out by thrashing his head around. This though used up all of his energy and the serpents head collapsed onto the beach, its nostrils flaring up and down with each massive breath. Out of fatigue and frustration, Nereus let out a hissing moan of defeat.

Crow

Crow was shaking to death. He clasped his hands on the mans pants legs not even daring to peak at the battle scene. What if Kara dies? Heck, what if we all die? Crow didn't want to die like this. He was hoping he would die in a more peaceful way, like in his sleep in a small clearing on a soft bed of moss...That was how an old deer died one time. Crow was gathering berries when he saw the graceful beast. It's antlers towered high and proud and it's fur was stained white. It's eyes even looked tired and worn. Crow watched as the deer fearlessly approached Crow and licked some of the berries out of his hands. After that day, Crow had found a new friend but after that, when he returned he saw that the deer was resting in the middle of the clearing breathing soft sleep like breaths.

Crow didn't disturb the deer and watched in shock as its last breaths were drawn. Yes, Crow was saddened. Very saddened, but he continued on his day even burying the bucks corpse in that very clearing. Now, once dyeing now thriving papaya tree grows fruit that's larger than Crows skull hat.

Anyways, back to the battle.

Realization hit Crow when he looked up at the man he didn't know at all. Instead of asking who he was though, Crow kept his yap shut and covered his head with his wings from the mockery, fire, and blood.

Pandora cried out in pain, and flipped over. She felt the shot of plasma in her back, The bullets spraying her and then choking on her neck. She shakily moved one hand up to pull it off, and then the click of a gun was heard. Pandora turned her head slowly towards the noise.

In the time she was given to recover, Kara had forced herself to her feet, picked up her pistol, and crept over to Pandora. She pushed the gun against Pandora's forehead, and quickly turned off the safety. She smiled to herself, some of the dried blood cracking and falling off. She put her finger over the trigger, and it back.

"Dodge this, Bitch."


The Angel's head exploded with the force, and Kara smiled at Jinny. "I don't think we got acquainted. Thanks, by the way." She said, kicking the body over.

Jinny
"no prob." Jinny said with a half smile to Kara. She was certain that Kara was dead, but Kara had recovered, and shot the evil angel in the head.

Jinny looked over at the angel's body when Kara had kicked it. "I'm scared that girl is gonna get back up. Go check on Damien. make sure he's okay. It looks like he passed out or something during the battle. As for me, I'm gonna go look for Crow. If you need a medkit, it's in my backpack. I think Damien had it last."

Jinny sprinted into the bushes without hesitation, but fell over. She bumped into something, or someone. She looked up from the ground to see the big, tall man that looked like a zombie.

Pipa and Piper

Piper couldn't believe her luck. She had hit the monster's eye, making the monster use up all its energy until it collapsed on the sand. The two dragons flew as fast as they could away from the defeated sea serpent.

Pipa and Piper completely forgot about hunting. They were concerned with the mass murder of the mermaids in the Serakin sea. Did the sea serpent work on it's own, or did it belong to someone else. Questions raced through the twins' heads as they flew farther and farther down the coast.

When they felt they had gotten as far away as they could from the incident. The twins landed their dragons and made a campfire. Hyoushi had small cuts from when Nereus was swiping at the dragon. However, Piper was able to fix this with herbs she always carried in her pouch. Pipa started to make a campfire. There was still light left in her lamp, so Pipa used the fire to light the wood. The two stared into the fire, recollecting the events they had just witnessed in their minds.

3 arrows left. The twins were nervous about this. They didn't know if they had the raw materials to make good arrows in the wild. Also, there weren't any shops around for miles, so they couldn't buy any arrows. Despite this, Pipa and Piper decided that instead of hunting for seafood, they would try to find more about the killing of the mermaids in the morning.

Astrad looked down to his left to see the woman that held the winged one in place. He looked at her and before she could speak he said, "Whatever you're thinking, don't raise that gun at me." Astrad warned as his haunting voice echoed as his cold, grey eyes pierced the very darkness. Astrad moved back to reveal that Crow was hiding behind him. "I believe this is who you are searching for?" Astrad spoke as his deep voice rumbled. Astrad looked towards the others as he noticed the woman who blew off the Angel's head was covered in blood. "I don't think that was all from the winged woman's head, she must have a serious wound." Astrad thought to himself as he looked over towards the other woman. "Maybe you could answer me some questions..." "...you are from Nexis, right?" Astrad asked. Astrad awaited a response as he watched all around him. He never had a serious conversation with another person, he worried that she might shoot at him. He warned her against but if she did then he would have to defend himself and that could get messy. And if she did attack then most likely those other soldiers would too, he really didn't want to kill them after they survived such an encounter. Still he would have to forgo his desires in order to survive. So it all rested on how they react to him, sure it is hard to speak to someone like himself and be calm. Yet, he just hoped for once that Nexinian does not immediately attack him on sight. He already knows what it is like to kill another person, it was terrible, horrible, atrocious. The very though made him upset, disgusted. Astrad then immediately tried to bottle his emotions but that was about as hard as bottling an active volcano.

He knew if he exploded right now he would lose whatever sense of comfort or trust these people have. Then it would come down to what he feared, killing these good people. That was something he had to avoid but the memories started to flash in his head of older encounters. He clenched his fist in anger but he loosened his grip and relaxed himself once again. He then continued to watch these strangers as he hoped for the best.

Jinny
Jinny got up on her feet.
"Don't worry, i wasn't intending to raise my gun at you. I would never question the life of an innocent person."
Jinny brushed off some of the dirt on her suit and looked up at Astrad in the eyes. He almost looked like frankenstein.
"Yes, that's Crow behind you, that's who i'm looking for, and yes, i'm from Nexis. I'm assuming you are to. Do you have any more questions? If not, i have some for you as well."

Pipa and Piper
It wasn't much, but Piper managed to make another three arrows out of three sharp rocks she found in the water, 3 sturdy sticks from driftwood, and some rope. She tested them a little bit, and gave them to Pipa. Piper prayed that they would at least do for now.

After about 10 minutes Pipa said,
"Minus ut ag ut nooze"
("time to go to sleep")

The twins shut their eyes,but after about 3 minutes, Piper tiredly said,
"Pipa, A tnow....."
("Pipa, I can't.....")

Without hesitation, Pipa pulled out her blue ceramic ocarina from her pouch.

"Aires, telli a atemisi ee om-gine....."
("Here, let me play you something.....")
She said. The song she played on her ocarina was a lullaby. It was a traditional elf lullaby created by the elves of Laguz, the group which the twins belonged to. Pipa and Piper had learned the Laguz culture from their mother and their tribe until they were both 14 (in elf years), when a notorious group of bandits had murdered the elves to drink their blood (elves live TWICE as long as regular human beings, so drinking elf blood can make you live longer) The twins escaped the attack, and became the last surviving members of the Laguz tribe.

The lullaby that Pipa played was soothing enough to put anybody to sleep. Piper immediately drifted off into the clouds. When Pipa could hear her breathing deeply, she put her ocarina away, rested her head on a log of driftwood, and closed her eyes.

(ooc, just some backstory on the twins because i don't think i really put any on their character page.)

Astrad looked at the woman as he was surprised she didn't attack him. Usually one look at him and they either run in fear or harm him. Still he was defensive as he was unsure of he motives. "Yes I...was from Nexis...", Astrad paused, "...Are you from that ship that crashed right beyond these trees?" Astrad asked as he pointed to the fallen ship. "If you are then did you drop me off beyond this...Jungle?" Astrad asked as he wondered. He hoped she was a crew member he really wished to know why he was here. If only he could remember! It frustrated him that he can't seem to remember much of anything! He remembers being in labs back on Nexis, still those memories are hazy at best. Astrad remained in control of his anger as it still threatens to show. Astrad didn't wish to frighten her, obviously he found someone willing to talk and this could be his only break. Astrad stood and hoped as he awaited the woman's answer.

Astrad noticed the woman that killed the angel stumbled upon him and the others here. Astrad was surprised she didn't try and attack him as well, all of them were capable. Maybe they don't fear him, which is a good thing. For far too long as he been looked upon as an monstrosity. It was nice to see that others view him as something more than just a freak. Still he felt tense as if things were not all right but this probably because of his nervousness. Nervous that he would do something wrong and make these people hate him. He didn't want that as they may end up shooting him after all and judging by the kindness they are showing it would be difficult for him to defend himself. If they were like that in the beginning then it wouldn't be any more troublesome. Astrad yet kept himself calm as the woman asked him a question.

"You might have been in the crash? What's your name? Marcus? Or were you our pilot?" She whispered hopefully, staring into the man's eyes.


"No...I..." Astrad rumbled as he paused, "...my name is...," Astrad hit a blank. He doesn't even known what his name was. He shook with frustration. "WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER MY OWN NAME!?" Astrad thought to himself. Astrad began to growl deep in his throat as he felt his anger swelling up. Yet apprehension began to envelope him as he looked at the others. "There probably thinking I look strange now." Astrad thought as he relaxed himself. "I'm not sure....it wasn't Marcus..." Astrad spoke as he tried to remember. Then a memory sparked inside as he remembers seeing the words A,S,T,R,A,D together. "Maybe that is my name?" Astrad thought to himself as he looked towards the woman with the tags that say Kara Mai Crawford. "My name...is....Astrad?" Astrad spoke with uncertainty.

Astrad then began to answer the next question, "No...I don't believe I am a pilot." "I was...ejected from a ship at the edge of this jungle." Astrad spoke as he pointed towards the way he came. "Did you throw me out of the ship?" Astrad asked Kara. "And if so...why am I here?" Astrad spoke slightly raising his voice.
