It's the same dream every night. I'm running from a something or someone in a forest and I don't know where I'm going. Ignoring all the branches that cut my skin and the dirt that smears my body from falling a few times I keep running. I know what's going to happen next but I can't make myself stop. Tripping over a root from a tree I turn onto my back trying to catch my breath. Hearing leaves crunch I look up to see a pair of red eyes staring down at me. I try to move but my body fails to obey. Seeing the feral smile that appears on the man's face fear coursed through my body. As he closes the distance I begin to let out a scream until he saves me. The man with red eyes runs and when the man who saved me turns around...

Waking up Isoya Asuka is panting and glares at the clock that says 2:00 am. Laying back down she stares at the ceiling. It's the same dream every night. I don't know who he is and I don't understand why he saved me but for some reason I think he's meant to find me. Sighing Isoya closes her eyes in hope of getting some sleep before heading off to school. This has been going on since she turned fourteen, which happens to be the anniversary for her mothers death when she died ten years ago. Isoya hates her birthday for that reason, she refuses to celebrate it although her father tries to get her to change her mind. She is now eighteen and the years have been kind to her. Red hair with fair skin but not too pale to make her look ill. Steel grey eyes and curves to compliment her form along with the fact her body is well toned from exercise.

Finally giving up on sleep Isoya climbed out of the bed and headed to her private bathroom at the other end of her room. Grabbing clothes from her closet she walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. Removing her clothes Isoya stepped into the shower welcoming the hot water. Proceeding to clean herself off she was lost in thought about the dream. Why is it that I never get to see who saves me? I don't understand. Shaking her head Isoya finished her shower and grabbed the towel hanging on the rack. Stepping out she dried herself off and threw on a black lace bra with matching underwear then put on her red skirt with a white t-shirt. Grabbing the black stockings that reached her mid thigh Isoya slipped them on and reached for the belt that topped of the skirt. Walking out of the room she looked in a full length mirror and nodded then walked back over to the closet to get her boots. Grabbing them she walked over to the bed and sat down to put them on. After fastening them Isoya went back to the bathroom and looked at her damp hair. Shaking her head she grabbed the brush and proceeded to remove the tangles. Once all the tangles were removed she kept her hair down knowing it would dry and stay straight. Leaving the bathroom she headed downstairs to see if anyone was awake. Hearing nothing Isoya went to the library and found a book to read to pass the time.

The morning was slowly taking the night's place and the orange beams announced that sunrise will arrive very soon. Feride slowly woke up. It was still early, but the girl didn't feel like sleeping. She got up, made her bed, brushed her teeth, washed her face, put hereveryday clothes on and combed her dark brown hair.

Feride looked at a project she was working on - a small robot that takes small orders. It was already tested, but it often made mistakes. Feride wondered how to change that without having to make too much changes. "Probably there will be something in the library" she thought. The girl headed to the kitchen in order to make some breakfast. Her parents were there. They were talking in Turkish, but it will be written in English. "Why does your head always hurts? How come? Every night!" her father started arguing. "If you have spent more time helping me with at least the cleaning, my head would have been just fine!" replied her mother. "Mom... Dad... Good morning..." This was everything Feride could say. "My child, you're up early! What do you want for breakfast?" her mother asked akwardly. "I'll take something from the fridge, don't worry about it, mother." Feride replied. She put some grapes in a plastic bag which she put in her school bag that looked small, but many things could fit in. She made it when she was eight.

Feride took a flying board (which she also invented) and went to the library. She started looking in the "Mechanic" section. "Maybe this should work" she thought and took the book she has chosen. Feride noticed that the library was nearly empty. Only a few people were reading some books.

Alex shifted in his sleep, and cried out in a jolt of terror as he fell from the couch he was laying on. Hitting the ground hard, he smashed his head on the wood, and his elbow on the coffee table. "Lucian!!" his words echoed through the house, and he sat up slowly, his black hair falling in front of his eyes. "Your couch bucked me off again!"
"That darn couch," came the sarcastically humorous voice, along with a taint on laughter. Blue eyes looked the young male on the ground over. Lucain stood in front of his friend, hand on his hip, holding a starbucks coffee. "Why must you have stayed with me tonight, Alex? You and my furniture have such a bad relationship."
Scrambling up when he spotted the coffee, Alex snatched the drink from the taller boy and grinned. "Because I knew you missed me. Just wouldn't admit it. "
The pair grinned at one another.
Alex got the shower first, brushing his teeth in it and washing until his hair fell in silken waves down his neck. He stepped out, shook his hair like a dog, then grabbed his pair of dark jeans, a popular band tee, black jacket, and stepped out. Sitting on the couch that he slept on, he pulled on some socks and laced up a pair of black combat boots. Scrounging for his keys to his car, he waited for his friend to come out from the bedroom
Lucian brushed his teeth, paying extra heed to his slight fangs as he cleaned. He had already showered earlier that morning, and now changed into a white button up shirt over a pair of light jeans, leaving the shirt untucked. Grabbing his designer boots, he slipped them on over his socked feet, grabbed his and alex's coffe, and hurried out with the boy to the car.

Alex stepped from the vehicle, his green eyes searching around him for the other students. Not many came this early, and he sighed. Grabbing his coffee from Lucian, he walked into the school, heading for his locker near the library.
Lucian slipped into the courtyard and sat under a tree sipping his coffee as he leaned back, closing his blue eyes.

Isoya left the library in her house and headed to the kitchen to grab a granola bar. Finishing it quickly Isoya ran upstairs and brushed her teeth then headed back down stairs. Grabbing the keys to her car Isoya opened the door and walked out of the house. Walking over to her silver camaro and put the keys in the ignition hearing the car purr to live. Smiling Isoya drove out of the drive way and headed to school while listening to music from her ipod. Drumming her fingers on the steering wheel Isoya kept thinking about the dream and bit her bottom lip in frustration. "I wish that stupid dream would leave me alone." Isoya was pulled out of her thoughts when she saw the school come into view. Pulling into the parking lot she found her spot and parked. Grabbing her bag that contained all her school books Isoya placed her ear buds into her ears then pressed play. "Tonight" by Seether filled her ears as she climbed out of the car locking it and setting the alarm. Bobbing her head to the music Isoya was walking through the halls heading towards the library to see if there was anything new that had recently came in. As Isoya was walking she saw a boy at his locker and tried to recall his name, What's his name....Alex I believe... Glancing at him one more time she debated if she should say hi but didn't as she walked passed and opened the door to the library. Walking in she saw the librarian wasn't here yet so she went over to her favorite spot in the far corner away from everyone and sat down pulling out her notes from her Chinese History class.

After Feride gave back the books, her dissapointed face looked down. "I didn't find anything." she thought. The girl took out the flying board, stepped on it and started slowly flying. However the board had its own mind. It whooshed away quickly past Isoya, and Feride barely handeled herself. She slammed the library door and flew out. The board got even faster. Feride was thrown away and the little machine pushed Alex and started flying in the hallway. Feride was running after it and finally caughed it. She put it back in her bag, apologised to Alex and went to her classroom.

'Crash!'
Alex looked up in time to see the little flying board ram into his stomach. With an grunt of pain, he fell over and lost his breath. Green eyes widening, he took his time getting up, chuckling slightly. As the girl rushed over, he smiled at her slightly. "It's alright," he said, then started to ask if she was Ok.

As she hurried off, Alex stood there for a minute in confusion. What was that about? He looked himself over. Nope. No horrendous mutations occured when he wasn't looking, so he had no explanation for the rushed exit she had made.

Sighing, he slipped into the library and stepped over to the fiction section. Looking around quickly, he pulled out a romance book and grinned. Yes, it was true. He was a sortie for a good love story. Backing out, he noticed a girl sitting in the far corner. He shrugged and left the library with his book after he checked himself out, then walked over to his calculus classroom. He took his seat in the back, nearest the window, and began to read.

Out of the corner of her eye Isoya saw the girl fly passed and raised an eyebrow, Odd... Going back to her notes a figure out of the corner of her eye caught her attention. It was the same boy from the locker and with one last glance she saw him leave with a book. Pulling out her ear buds Isoya sighed and put her ipod in one of the side pockets of her bag along with her notes. Standing Isoya failed to notice that her ipod fell out and back onto the seat as she walked away and heading to her class. Going up a set of stairs she saw Mr. Stonewell walking down the stairs, who just happened to be the teacher for her current class. Isoya saw him smile and resisted to roll her eyes, "Hello Mr. Stonewell."
"Ah, Ms. Asuka how are you? You know you can call me Kaiden." He smiled as he turned around and began to walk with her.
"I'm doing fine sir, and it would be rude of me to address you by your first name." Isoya felt the hair on her neck stand up, she never really was fond of being near this man.
"You wound me Isoya, it wouldn't be rude considering I'm asking you to call me by name." Kaiden glanced down at the girl and inhaled her scent. With a smile he committed it to memory.
"Yes well I don't feel comfortable calling you Kaiden, if that's alright Mr. Stonewell..." Picking up her pace she waved, "I'll be off to class now, just don't be like the other students and end up late. You are the teacher after all."

Without looking back Isoya walked into the class and headed for the back and sat down already wanting to leave. I can't believe him...he always does this and he knows that I don't like it! Running her fingers through her hair she looked out the window of her history class and saw a person sitting in the courtyard, "Huh...I wonder why he's not heading to class."

The class has started around thirty minutes ago and Feride already received the reputation of a little know-it-all. She answered the questions right, she even corrected the teacher. Feride didn't mean to, but she wanted to evade the situation where you get a lower grade because you were given the wrong information.

The class ended. Feride was worried that her parents could break up again. She was so obsessed by this fear that reality around her couldn't reach her until she accidently tripped and slammed into a picture framed by glass. It broke into million pieces, the girl evaded the glass in the last second. "HEY, YOU!" a teacher yelled. A few seconds later it was clear that Feride had detention. After a few headbangs in the locker, the girl tried to calm down. At least she wasn't injured. The alternative reality of what would happen if she didn't evade the glass bursted in her head like the blood would burst if it was relased by the frame.

She needed someone to comfort her.

Releasing a sigh of relief Isoya grabbed her bags and fished one of the pockets for her ipod. When she couldn't find it she cursed and started to back track her steps hoping to find it. "Stupid...couldn't check sooner." Mumbling to herself Isoya saw the girl who flew passed her this morning and decided that asking her wouldn't hurt any. "Hey! My name is Isoya and I was wondering if you happen to see an Ipod laying around." She gave a small smile while trying to not be distant.

Looking over the girls shoulder she saw glass everywhere and raised an eye brow, "Is everything alright? You didn't end up getting hurt did you?" Isoya's eyes held concern as she stared at the other girl waiting for answer.

Mr. Stonewell was at his desk going over papers and was disappointed to see that Isoya left before he could talk to her again. His eyes flashed red for a brief moment and he smirked. He knew why she kept her distance and Kaiden wanted to laugh. She could tell that something was off and he accepted her challenge that she has failed to realize she initiated. By her keeping her distance and running at every possible chance Kaiden couldn't resist to give chase. She might want to tread more carefully or else she might be running for her life.

Alex sighed as he closed his book, jotted down the notes for his class that were on the board, and calmly left the classroom to return his finished book and meet up with Lucian. Slipping into the quiet room, he smiled at the librarian and handed her his book, his face not shading red at the look she gave him for the romantic topic of the book. Instead he grinned. "Good book, but a bit too slow for me." Winking, he stepped towards the back and attempted to find another book.
It was then he noticed an iPod on the chair next to him. Where that girl from this morning was. He sighed and picked it up, sliding it into his back pocket. He would return it, Alex thought, pulling his book from the shelf and stepping from the library.
Lucian stepped up and grinned, his blue eyes sparkling. "You're too much of a book worm," he said, his grin flashing a hint of the slightly sharpened fangs. "Come on. We have music history next..."

Lucian then noticed a young woman slamming her head into her locker slightly. Frowning, he excused himself and stepped forward. Putting a hand on the human girl's shoulder, Lucian smiled at her. "Excuse me, miss... Are you alright...?" he stepped closer, worry lighting his pale blue eyes.

Alex scoffed at his friend. Always a fool for a pretty face-didn't she run him over this morning? Chuckling lightly, he walked down the hallway on his own until daydreaming as he walked. And because of that, he nearly ran over Isoya. Backtracking slightly, he grinned and apologized. Running his hand through his hair, Alex apologized again and then stopped. Looking over the girl in front of him, his eyes flickered with gold for a minute before he reached into his back pocket. "I believe you lost this..." he said, confusion lighting his features as he looked her over as though she were a rare, exotic animal.
Her scent teased his nose, making him want to melt. Heart thudding painfully hard, he bit his cheek. What in the world...? What perfume was she wearing, he wondered, resisting the urge to lean forward and gently sniff at the crook of her neck for more of the mouthwatering smell. "I-I'm Alex. I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I don't know your name..."

"Thank you, good people. I'm alright." Feride told Isoya and Lucian, then Alex came and turned Isoya's ipod back. People she have ever met come to her and comfort her - that's why she had a lot of faith in humanity.

Alex seemed really interested in Isoya, he might also be friends with the other guy who wanted to comfort Feride. Could it be possible that finally she will be in a company? Is this the beginning of a new friendship? A gang of friends who are always together and support eachother?

A moment ago Feride was miserable, but then she was happy.

Isoya smiled at Alex, "Oh thank you!" Taking back her ipod Isoya heard him ask for her name, "My name is Isoya, nice to meet you Alex." Placing her ipod into its rightful spot, Isoya turned her attention back to Feride she smiled and slightly tilted her head, "No problem. What's your name?" Isoya quickly stole a glance at Alex while she waited for Feride to answer. Why do I feel a strange feeling pulling me towards him? I just met him, sure I've seen him around but I never really talked to him... Mentally shaking her head Isoya pushed her thoughts to the back of her mind for the time being. Isoya saw the boy with white hair and recognized him from the courtyard, "I saw you outside when I was in my history class. May I know your name as well?"

Inhaling deeply Kaiden could smell vanilla and sandalwood lingering in the hall. Following the scent he saw a group of students in the hall and one of them happened to be Isoya. Smirking he made his way towards them, "Now students I believe class is about to start, we wouldn't want to be late would we?"

"W-W-Watch out!!!" Shotaro said, rushing inside on his bicycle. By the looks of it, he was going to crash into the group, literally. That was the bad news. The good news was, Shotaro was able to turn so his instead crashed into a nearby pillar. Or was that the bad news? Anyway, before Shotaro knew it he fell off his bike with a head-ache.

"Aww...man. And I just recovered from the last one..." he said, lifting himself and his bicycle up. He turned and saw the people he nearly injured, or maybe the ones who would make him injured. All he wanted to do was go to school like any other kid, but he had gone through several accidents (four involving his head getting hit by a ball, one involving getting chased by a dog, another having him nearly fall into a manhole, and one him getting stuck on a tree for some unknown reason) before this one. Yep, he's that unlucky.

"My name is Feride, I'm from Turkey, so sorry if I have bad english." replied Feride to Isoya. Then the teacher Kaiden came, but what really scared Feride was the guy who almost killed himself with the bike. "OH, NO! Are you allright?" the girl yelled, rushing to him. He kinda reminded her of herself - in that same day she had problems with the flying board, almost got cut by a glass frame and got detention. However, he might get into way worse situations.

Feride quickly took out brom her back pack a little plastic thing with endless amount of band-aids, a bottle with liquid that heals almost everything and a lollipop. Who wouldn't want a lollipop after such an injury?

"OH, NO! Are you alright?" a girl yelled, rushing to him.

"Yes," he sighed, "I'm...fine...sort of..."

Obviously the girl didn't know him much. He was sort-of used to little kids pointing at him saying "Hey, look, it's the Bad-Luck Guy!". He found it difficult to interact with some people, since he has been teased throughout his childhood. Anyway, he felt that his bad luck never ends, whether he likes it or not. For instance, he was almost late for class, and he nearly bumped his teacher. Yep, things are getting better and better by the second...

"S-Sorry, sir..." Shotaro told Kaiden, bowing to him in respect. He normally does this to others, no matter what happened. He reached for his backpack and grabbed his water bottle, only to find it pierced at the bottom and almost empty. Thank God for his waterproof bag.

"Damn..." he thought, "...first, I got lost after my first class. Then I had to look for the schedule. Then, I bumped into the Girls' bathroom for the 1000th time. Then, I had to bump into my classmates. Funny, I don't recognize them. Or is that the short-term memory lost my doctor said I have? Now, what am I doing here, again?"

Isoya ignored Kaiden and looked over to the boy, "Are you sure that you're alright?" Her expression held concern but quickly went blank when Kaiden put his hand on her shoulder. Her gaze went straight to his and she raised an eyebrow, "Is there something wrong sir?"

Kaiden saw the her and Alex interacted and had to fight back his urge to growl. He walked over and placed his hand on her shoulder and gave her a smile, "No, not at all." Looking back to the boy he shook his head, "It's quiet alright, as long as you're okay then we all need to go to class now. I'll let your teachers know what happened." Letting his hand drop from Isoya's shoulder he turned around and headed back to his class.

A growl boiled low in Alex's throat at the sight of the older man touching Isoya. He shook his head and looked over to the boy. Stepping over, he grinned. "Do you need any help finding your class," he asked kindly, before taking a quick glance at Isoya and smiling. Looking back to Lucian, he noticed his friends confused look. Shrugging, he lost his smile and backed up a bit.
Lucian stepped up, bowing a bit to the group. "Sensai is correct," he began. "We are almost late. I can lead anyone if they would like it..." he said, smiling.

Alex walked back to Isoya and grinned slightly. "I hope to see you around," he said, taking her hand and lifting it to his lips. Pressing a kiss there, alex slowly released her hand and turned to Lucian. 'Taking the car,' he mouthed, and headed to the front doors. He left a few things at his home that he had just now remembered, and Alex also needed to clear his sad of the intoxicating scent now planting him.

Lucian shrugged. Looking back at the three before him, he motioned onwards. It wouldn't do for a student council member to be llate, nor not help others when he saw the chance.

"Th-thank you,sir..." Shotaro told the teacher, bowing again. He turned to the others when he heard someone saying he would help him. "I..." Shotaro said, before he noticed that the two boys who offered him assistance in finding his next classroom left. "Y-Yes, I-I do need help i-in finding my next class. I'm Sh-Shotaro, b-by the, uh, way..." he told the girls, blushing a bit as he did. He wasn't used to being in close contact to girls outside his family.

He picked up his bicycle and threw his water bottle at a trash can, only to hit a cat he became...acquainted with. "Sorry..." he told the cat, hearing it growl then scurry off. Shotaro sighed, when will the day come when his life will be like the others, not too filled with luck but never to the extent when it as none.

A blush graced Isoya's face when Alex kissed her hand, "Yeah, see ya around." She watched him leave then shook her head to clear her thoughts, looking back over to the others she adjusted her bag, "I have independent study this period so I'll be in the library." Smiling she waved, "But thank you for the offer! See ya!" Walking into the library she went to the couch and set her bad on the table. Pulling out a book she laid down then opened the book and began to read.

After reading a few chapters Isoya's eyes began to close from the lack of sleep she's been having. Without even realizing it Isoya fell asleep with the book on her chest. Shifting slightly head her turned to the side making a strand of hair fall across her face. The librarian saw her and she shook her head with a smile. She knew that Isoya didn't get enough sleep so she let her sleep while Isoya had the chance.

Kaiden sat at his desk after writing today's notes on the board and he began to grade papers that were turned in. He began to wonder if the students would get to class on time, Kaiden also wondered if they all had the same class. Shaking his head he pushed that thought aside, Isoya was in independent study, Shotaro was in his class and he was sure the others had different classes as well. Looking over another paper he wrote 94% and placed it off to the side.

Shotaro looked at his watch and saw that it was a few minutes before his class. He turned to the girl who first approached him and thanked her, then ran to his classroom. After a few turns and stairs he has been able to get to the classroom a bit earlier, mening his watch was advanced. He greeted Kaiden and headed for his seat, though his bicycle is seen jutting out of his backpack. It was a good thing he sat at the backseat. He could try to fix his folding bicycle later in a less crowded area. It was sad he couldn't bring his non-foldable bicycle, which he favored more. But he wasgoing to school, he needed to keep his things as close to him as possible.

As soon as he saw the notes on the board, he started writning down the important parts, hoping his pen won't squirt ink at him like last time.

Lucian sighed as he noticed all the others walk off, as if ignoring him. Shaking his head, the boy walked on to his class, hands in the pockets of his pale jeans. Stepping through the front door, the Vampire looked at his teacher and did a double take. The same one that had spoken earlier. The same one Alex growled at.
Shaking his head, Lucian walked up to him and smiled a bit. "Good morning, Proffessor." he bowed, then stiffened. The teacher's scent made the boy quickly move back, taking a seat by the boy who had called earlier.
"I'm afraid we haven't really been introduced..." he began calmly, looking the male over. "I'm Lucian, part of the student council. I'm sorry you were hurt today. Are you feeling alright now?" His tone had gentled slightly, and he gave a smile.

Alex slammed the car door shut as he walked back to school twenty minutes later. Independent study, he mused no reprimand there... Lifting his shredded jacket and backpack, he glared. His mother's dog had gotten ahold of them, tore them apart, and ruined his chance at a normal school day. All he had done was go to get his music, and the damn dog came bolting out, fangs bared as it smelled an alpha, as if to protect it's family.
"I'm part of the family too, mongrel. " he growled, toting his now ripped jacket and holy backpack into the library.
Where he stopped and smiled. Depositing his items on the table nearby, Alex walked near her and looked her over, before dropping down in front of the couch with a book in hand, as if protecting her. 'Hey, being a mutt helps,' he thought, smiling as he read his silly little romance book.

Isoya turned on so she was laying on her side and felt her hand hit something soft. Mumbling Isoya slowly opened her eyes and saw a her hand in black hair that felt really soft. She couldn't help but run her finger through it until she saw that it was Alex. Gasping she instantly sat up and had a small blush on her face, "Uh....hey?" Isoya was doing her best to keep her expression calm along with taking calming breaths. This is so embarrassing!

Kaiden saw his other student walk in and continued with the stack of papers. Coming to Isoya's report he could faintly smell her scent lingering on the paper. Inhaling deeply Kaiden sighed and looked over his class. Every clique was in here sitting in the proper groups. He noticed that Lucien sat next to Shotaro and slightly raised an eyebrow. This was new, in fact Kaiden knew that the group of students just recently met in the hallway and now it seems that they're going to be friends.

Alex started as he felt a hand caress his hair, a small smile lighting his face as he looked back. "Welcome back, sleepy. You looked comfortable enough over here I thought I would join you. Hope I'm not a bother..." he trailed off as his eyes traveled her features, his smile softening as he began to stand, unfurling his length from the floor. He rolled his shoulders slightly and looked skywards, letting out a breath. His hair fell over his face as he let his gaze trail over her again, never leaving her face.
He noticed her blush, and puzzled over it, crossing his arms as his body relaxed a bit more. "If I'm making you uncomfortable... I can leave... You just looked so darn adorable over here that I felt it would be a shame not to partake in such a delicacy of being near."
He looked away a bit, his mind fogging once more as he frowned in confusion. Her smell, her appearance, voice, over all presence unnerved him. Made him wary. And above all, made him not want to be away at this point. Like a drug, it called him back for seconds, thirds, fourths. He felt himself tense as he thought this over.

Shotaro noticed a guy from a short while ago sat in the seat next to his.

"I'm afraid we haven't really been introduced..." he began calmly, looking the male over. "I'm Lucian, part of the student council. I'm sorry you were hurt today. Are you feeling alright now?" His tone had gentled slightly, and he gave a smile.

Strange. The people who usually stuck around Shotaro were bullies, who found him to be the easiest target. But, hey, the poor guys don't get to be with guys in the Student Council all the time.

"I'm...Shotaro..." Shotaro replied, "others call me 'Tori.' Well, a while ago, that was nothing. You should see what I get into when going to and from school. But, I'm fine, for now at least..."

Shotaro was usually alone. No one wanted to have him in their group, believing his bad luck plagues their work. He has been doing stuff himself, ever since. It was good that there was someone friendly to him, that's the nearest thing he had to a friend.

Blushing even more Isoya shook her head, "I'm not uncomfortable, I'm just not use to being around or talking to people." Standing up she stretched, "I'm also not use to receiving compliments." Isoya was about to continue when she saw a little girl walking towards the front door to the library. She knew right away that it was a ghost and bit her lower lip debating if she should follow. Isoya watched the little girl until the said girl looked straight at her. Now she really had no choice, Isoya had to follow her and find out what was wrong. She could feel that something bad was going to happen and shivered. Taking one step forward Isoya was going to call out but the girl ran, "Hey!" Looking at Alex she smiled, "I'm sorry but I have to go!" Isoya ran out of the library and followed to where ever the girl was going to. Once again Isoya left her things behind in the library because she was focused on the girl.

Kaiden's ears twitched as he heard someone running in the hall. Standing from his desk Kaiden walked out into the hall right as Isoya ran by and going through the door that leads to the roof. Furrowing his brow Kaiden looked back to his class, "Open your books to chapter 10 and read in groups of two, I'll be back shortly." He headed towards the door that Isoya just ran through.

Isoya reached the rooftop and looked in all directions till she found the girl by the railing, "Hey, are you okay?" Walking over to her she knelt down and smiled, "You didn't need to run from me, I wont hurt you." Isoya placed her hand on the girls shoulder and felt her shaking in fear. The only reason she could touch her was because of the fact she could see ghost, "What's wrong? I promise not to hurt you." Hearing a chuckle Isoya stood up and scanned the area, looking up towards the sky she saw a soul eater smirking at them, "Why are you here?"

The soul eater laughed, "I'm here to eat that girls soul you silly woman. If you don't want to die then I suggest you stay out of my way."

Stepping in front of the girl Isoya glared at the soul eater, "Hell no. I wont let you get her."

Shrugging the soul eater smirked again, "So be it, I bet you'll taste delicious!" The soul eater flew straight towards them with the intent to kill.

Isoya quickly pushed the girl out of the way and used the railing to propel herself at the soul eater tackling him in mid air. Grabbing him by the shoulders Isoya with all her might spun him and threw him into the ground. Landing a few feet away Isoya saw that the girl went into hiding. Good, she wont be in harms way. Seeing the soul eater stand Isoya got into a fighting stance ready for whatever he threw at her.
