Description

PAST CHARACTER

Age: 19 1/2

gender: Male

Physical description: 6'2, ripped with muscle. A large scar healed over with a red mark draped down the left side of his face, his eye on the opposite side white while the other one brown. A black vortex shirt tight around his torso, sleeves shortened, reaching only half-way on his biceps. Wears a red beret, a cross large enough to grip with your whole hand, tucked under the fur coat most of the time, and grey, white, and black camo baggy pants. A leather black belt wrapped tight around his waste, but has an extra hole in it, his waste a little bigger from enhanced muscle growth. Wears black shoe-boots with cut belt buckles to fit into where the laces would be. The top of the tongue doesn't show from the pant legs going over them.

Weaponry: Crossbow with A.C.O.G. scope (Detachable) with bolts made from plastic and steel. A solid stone knife with an uneven razor edge and a stone longsword that stretches about the same length as a claymore. (Longsword attaches on a large sleeve that goes down the whole back in a diagnal angle. While the Stone knife has a sheathe on the top left shoulder, while the crossbow on the top right, ) Also a few sets of cuffs made from leather.

Abilities: Skilled in close quarters combat, and impressive with long range fighting as well. Stealth skills are very extreme, due to living in the family of hunters and former special squad members. Incredibly strong, but has a constant steady running speed rather than fast. Speech-craft is impressive, unless talking to the opposite sex.

Flaws: Although skilled in combat, under pressure he begins to lose focus and buckle under, based on the situation. Loud noises are not pleasant to him, and doesn't like surprises. Enjoys the fact that he can at times be scary, but overuses it to seem like a threat. Usually gives off the wrong first impression and at times can be offensive when angry.

Armor: Nothing except a vest made from an unknown fur with pouches hidden inside the fur with cantines on the sides and iron wrist cuffs.

Background: Born and raised in the winter forests of Alaska, till they were destroyed. He spent most of his time befriending animals and enjoying the wilderness, but also at the same time learning to care less of his family. In the end of an argument with this relatives, he ran away, hoping to find a new home like his old one. Throughout his adventure he'd met many friends and foes even more-so.

PRESENT CHARACTER
Name: Joshua
Sex: Male
Age: 19 3/4
Appearance: Image
Abilities: Can summon an army of strange ape-like monsters which are about 4 1/2 feet tall
Image
Has immense strength and can throw large objects. If one was to want to turn to the powers of the dark force, Joshua could telepathically transform him or her into a monster of the darkness in a matter of seconds.

Flaws: Magic like light, fire, water, etc. Can harm him. Although he is immortal, the life essence that keeps him and his monsters alive makes him mortal if he is too close to it. If he strays too far away from his life source, he'll instantly die. Although he is super strong, he is slow. Although the transformation is short, if the receiver cancels the acception, an immense blast emits from Joshua's body, launching him away with great force.

So begins...

From the farther side of the pond, he sat, his right arm's elbow laying on his knee rose while his left leg laying on the ground. In his right arm he had his dagger, picking at his fingernails. He was observing the group, but then something caught him, a strange figure, with an enormous sword. He immediately sheathed his dagger and whipped out his scope, aiming it. This being was of great power, he thought. He would have to somehow accompany him, but how? He probably knew he was there anyway? If he was what he thought. He put his ACOG back and just stared at a small girl with wolfish ears, or cat, couldn't tell. He slowly pivoted towards a girl, looking into the water, and set his eyes on her, thinking she saw his reflection. That'd be the only way he'd be seen, the shadows cloaking him. With a wolfish smirk on his face, he squinted his white eye, which seemed abnormal, no color besides the veins, and made it glow slightly, making the fluids in his eyes focus on that one area. His mind was racing: Could they be hunters too? Or were they just another group of offensive naive people, rejecting and killing new adventurers. If they were going to leave, he'd not follow anyway. He loved this forest, the game here not from his other home. He turned around to open his satchel, and pulled out a raw rabbit, turning behind the tree, invisible his reflection was now, being hid from a tree. He began eating it, raw. He enjoyed it for some strange reason, maybe because it was forever since he had meat, but he didn't want it cooked. He just tore through the fur and spat it out. He remembered how there were certain parts of the body that couldn't take in diseases. So he took some of it, but wrapped the rest of the rabbit up. He then threw his cowl over his head, turned around, and started walking around the pond, towards them. Through the trees, parts of him could be seen as he went in and out of shadows. But of course, they had to be trying to find him in order to do so. Could they be threats? He didn't care, he wanted to escape his lonely life. Hell, maybe death would be better. All he knew is that there were people, and possibly friends.

As he marched, his footsteps made a thundering thumping sound, definitely able to be heard from a few meters away.

Xin having avoided being placed on huntsmen duty, now separated himself from the group by a few paces. "Excuse me while I go train.".He said casually to the entirity of those present.

Xin weilded his spear in his right and then bowed to an imaginary person who was not there. He then gripped his spear with both hands and stood there ready to combat this imaginary foe. He stood there for some time doing ,to what a mere spectator , seemed like nothing but infact he was retreating from the world around him. To Xin, the shapeshifter and the necromancer, the girl from the village and her pet dragon, and the weird man with a large sword and even the stranger who approached even now went unnoticed (though he could hear their voices clear as day.). By placing himself in state of mind there was no one but him...him and his imaginary opponent. It was then that when his opponent ceased to be seem imaginary that Xin Zhao commenced.

He took a step forward and thus commenced a battle, a deadly dance. With every strike and every parry, every dodge and flourish, Xin placed all the energy that he would in a real fight. He was truly in his own world and once he dispelled the one enemy he faced, he stopped for an instant to summon more. They out numbered him, the foes he had conjured with his mind. A lesser man in such a situation would surrender or beg for mercy but not Xin Zhao.

He looked around to those who stood in front of him and then over his shoulders to those who stood behind him (the only indication to those spectating him that he was fighting more than one imaginary opponent) and courageously declared.

"I may be outnumbered..."
He took a step forward with his right and then lifted his left knee high above his waist, everything beneath the knee was tucked back and pointed towards the ground, and in one swift motion he spun the blunt side of his spear to the front and pointed it at his opponents.

"...I doubt even the odds could stand against me!". With that he brought the spear back to his original position and spun it once with his left hand, then around his back and over his shoulder. He brought his left leg down into the firm ground as he did this and the battle commenced. He struck to the left and then quickly swung it to his right to perhaps knock wack an overly eager foe who thought it he could get away with charging blindly at him. He jumped and kicked to the back, using his spear to further propel himself and give his kick more power. Still they came and still he fought on. Any spectator could be laughing at him as he continue his made up fight, perhaps giggling or admiring his discipline. Not once did his form falter, not once did he show a lack of technique, and if you looked into his eyes you could see that not only did it really seem like there were multiple enemies around him trying to end his life, but despite the odds he did not lose his cool. The fight continued for but a few more instances to those around him but to him it seemed longer. Regardless it came to an end. Xin fell into the same meditative pose he held earlier, his hand still holding his spear while the other grabbed the canteen and removed the cap so he could drink. He then buried his spear into the clay bank of the pond and walked before the pine trees.

He eyed each one, examining them, measuring the strength of their bark (if such a thing were possible with the naked eye). Once he found that was suitable he backed off a few paces, bowed to it, and begun to assault it with his fists, elbows, and legs. This continued on till he was winded. He then drank more water and returned to clay bank where he commenced doing push ups on his knuckles. Each time he went up he pushed himself off the ground and each time he clapped his hands together.

In his strange foreign tongue he counted every successful push up he did and did not cease this till he could not do a single more. Xin then rolled over and did sit ups and this too went on till he could not do another. Once complete Xin drank once again from his canteen and looked to the stranger who he just now noticed not too far from them.

"And who are you, stranger?". Xin asked, his muscles aching and the sweat dripping from his face down and into the clay and his clothes.

Joshua, within the shadows, knew this being was rather different from the others. He simply whispered "My name is unknown, but you may call me whatever you want." He sat down in the shadow, thinking the being could still see him, and crossed his legs, placing his arms on his knees, like the traditional native american position. "This is a better form, it gets you more in touch with nature, lets you breathe in real air. Well, I think so, at least." He said, then followed "I'm sure you think of me as a threat, fellow warrior, but I am not. I am a man of the hunt, and also of the fist." He said, turning his head into the small sunlight glowing down, showing the scar draping down his face. "But I fight much worse than men." He looked towards the wolf-cat-girl again, and said, "This is an odd group you have, why be with them? Have you been alone as well?" He began to walk towards the warrior, and then reached out his hand, still in darkness expecting him to know where it is, which was wrapped around the palm with a cloth, usually used to help grip and hand movements. "I'd like to be an ally, rather than an enemy.." He said, but holding something back from the warrior, as if he was trustworthy of knowing him as a whole. "I have food and clothes, that I can share."

He hid the grin from his face as he left his hand in the air..

He remembered running from the falling trees, the people screaming, and his dog barking. He remembered how they were running together, but were separated in this forest. He'd always call out with a wolfish howl, pretty good in his opinion, but he'd get no reply. He remembered crying for many moons as he tried to find his spirit-brother. But he never had, he never would've found it bye his lonesome.

Then it dawned on him.
"You haven't happened to see a dog, or a wolf, have you?"

Jeremy simply ignored everyone for a while, he didn't need to pay any attention at the moment. While there were arguments over who would be hunting, Jeremy crouched down, his body strength had been restored by the replenishment of his life energy and there is no risk of loosing limbs, yet. He was sitting, cross legged, playing around with Charlotte, trying to stop her from being bored. She ran around Jeremy, he would swing his arms out and deliberately missed to bring more laughter out of the child. Finally, when boredom started to run through Charlotte's body, Jeremy grabbed onto her and pulled her to his lap. That was then he begun tickling her, she laughed and laughed pushing away Jeremy's hands and trying to tickle him. He faked his laughter, he had to as he could not feel anything.
That was when Charlotte's undead mother crouched down, smiling and holding her hand to her mouth to show laughter. Charlotte noticed and ran to her mother, even though the walking corpse could not speak, she was still Charlotte's mother. They both started playing around, Jeremy took advantage of this and answered the others.

"Why do I have to hunt? I have no need to eat." He raised his voice a little to allow the others to hear him over the laughter of Charlotte. That was when he remembered, the little girl is alive, she needs to eat. "Well, maybe Charlotte does. But that isn't the point. If eastern guy can get away with it because his spear is for 'defense'. Then I cannot hunt because I'm more of a soldier. Hunting needs stealth, not running around with several zombies killing everyone."

Ammy let the sun stroke her, allowing herself a moment of peace as her ears swiveled to catch voices. Xin had given her something to think about. Did she have a purpose? Of course. Whatever task she put herself to was her purpose. SHE chose her own purpose, right? Just like her body chose what form was best to handle the situation. Her purpose was to survive, at least for now.

The world in which she wandered was wondrous and strange. Like the Darkness, which smelled of rot and death, appearing like a wall against the heavens; at night it would swallow up the moon and during the day, the sun would no longer shine as long as it had. Seasons, the trees, the life would be forced to adapt. Through all of her travels the only thing Ammy had become certain of was everything would change. Rain filled the ocean, storms shook the pines; everything belonged together, in a grand design. Though it was easier to believe everyone was masters of their own design, that fighting and surviving were the only things that mattered; Ammy realized that the land belonged to her as much as the sky belonged to the eagle. She was sister to everything around her, seen and unseen. She’d run from the East and away from the West to figure out who and what she really was. Yet in all her years running she’d never been closer than right now. It was filling her soul, making her skin prickle with energy as she stared blankly into the water. Almost—so close.

CRACK!

Ammy whirled, her ears flinching flat against her skull as she let out a ferocious snarl, her pupils like slits as the hair on the back of her neck bristled. Xin was beating against a tree with his spear, another swing brought her back to her senses as the air around her became thin again. The sizzling energy that made her skin crawl dispersed as quickly as it had come.

“Damn it,” she growled and moved away from the offence to her nose that was his sweat. She moved up-wind, laying her body back against a tree as she flickered her ears in the direction of the Shadow. Rest, Ammy thought as she gently rested her hands on her knees and then her chin atop all that. She had her eyes closed, but the world did not disappear from view. She could still hear Earth’s breathing and pin point the exact location of someone lurking in the trees. Ammy had smelled him from a mile away, this Shadow-hunter. So it was no surprise when he decided to finally admit his presence, only after being called out by the Biased Warrior. Her nose wrinkled, taken aback by the strong scent that dripped from his skin, that and the little golden blood that oozed from the tree’s wounds.

Call me what you will, huh? She cocked her head curiously, her eyes fluttering open to get a better look at him. She roamed over his body, taking in his strange eye and scar, smirking as she chose not to respond to such a stupid question. She was here because she could be here. There was no other reason. She stayed because she wanted to stay, was that such a crime? With a snort she stood up, brushing the back of the dress off. She needed a way to escape for awhile.

“I’ll hunt. Any requests?”

Joshua turned towards the she-wolf, now only his white eye, with a furious curl of his brow, a frown of fiery anger going over his white eye as he looked towards her. In the darkness, his right hand had his dagger in his palm, facing his back rather than his front. He didn't trust her, especially the mimicry of a dog. He loved wolves, and all other creatures, but her, probably not. She was a mimic, a farce in his mind. Is she a threat? Could she be? He simply stared at her, realizing she actually adapts to the instincts of another being she'd transform to. But would wounds remain? If he gutted her in human form, how would that affect the wolf form? He took three steps back, realizing a slow approach from her could bake him vulnerable from two sides, as he backed up, seeing both of them in his view now, he kept his daggered hand in a fist and dropped to the ground, his other hand reached back for the crossbow, but not pulling it out. He remained silent, as he planned to from now on. He didn't want to talk, nor did he care to. That broke his trust. How could he even make trade when he's outnumbered, but not out powered? Power doesn't matter when skills vary from every warrior, he thought. Someone who could turn to anything and a brave warrior of high experience could be a large threat, but he worried more of the warrior. He fought many wolves, bears, all sorts of animals, and the same with warriors. The only threat of the warrior that was greater was that this one was a man of great awing spiritual strength, for sure. He crouched down, his left leg crouched up as if taking a knee, but his other stretched as far as possible, in case he needed to flee to a branch above, he'd have an immediate spring. He continued to stare at the she-wolf, trying to find some reason to calm him down. Maybe she could be of mental healing powers, depending on his memory. But he still didn't trust her, so there he proned, waiting for any sudden movement.

Jeremy continued his random playing around with the other two until he noticed something strange. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw both the eastern guy and the shape shifter react to something, talk to something. But what?
Telling the two to continue without him, Jeremy stood and stared in the same direction the others were looking toward. That's when he saw... Life Energy. Of course, the only people who seem to know that he can see life energy is the shape shifter and Earth. So it's best to play dumb for a while.

"Hey, what you guys looking at? Is there food there?" Jeremy called out as he slowly walked towards the shape shifter, she was closer to him than the eastern guy. Plus she seems nicer than the eastern guy. As Jeremy walked, he payed attention to the distance, it was an automatic thing now. It allows him to know when he will be too far from his zombies before they drop down and the energy returns to him. He doesn't want Charlotte's mother to suddenly collapse.

“Calm yourself Shadow-man. I don’t like the taste of human flesh,” Ammy yawned and looked at Earth, her arm stretching above her head as she tested the area he had pierced. It felt fine and she shook her head, moving a step back from Xin. Jeremy stood beside her as she cocked her head in his general direction, giving him a small smile. He was the first in the group to have come so close willingly, plus, he smelled—dead—but it came across calm.

“I’ll be fully healed if I shift two more times. I’d rather not explain how that works, but if you feel like it I guess you could always try and watch me change, though I warn you it isn’t flowers and rainbows,” she rocked back onto one leg, grinning slightly. “Can someone come grab Skye’s dress in a little bit? I don’t want to tear it.”

Joshua's heart could be heard pounding from even where Jeremy was standing, and heard his foosteps coming, when he saw her yawn after the hearing, he thought of is as some sly little gesture to see if backup was coming. He immediately leaped upwards, the hand he readied to shoot the crossbow with now on a branch above him, and as he leaped to one branch, tore that one off and threw it at the closest person near him. He then leaped from the tree he was on to another farther away, and pulled out his crossbow, aiming it down on them with one hand. He looked at the she-wolf with a furious look in his eyes, as if he'd kill her. But instead rather gave her a look of concern, as if saying Stop.He only did it to her, thinking she'd be able to understand him the most, being her an animal of sorts. He looked at the figure walking forward, and froze. His angered face turned to a rush of fear, and he blindly shot an arrow towards him as he leaped to the pine tree farther away from the three. Then he began to tree-hop away from them.

All he felt was stupidity and anger, but mostly fear run through is veins.

Jeremy did not notice the small smile given by the shape shifter, it was in his blind spot where his right eye was covered by the stitched-on piece of leather. He continued staring at the life energy in the shadows, his suspicions rising. That guy seems dangerous.

As a reply to the shape shifter's question, Jeremy said; "Nah, I have some business." He did not look towards her, and his voice seemed more stern and serious. Suddenly, something smacked into his chest, he looked down to see an arrow pointing out from his body. It had struck him right in the non beating heart. No blood fell from the wound, it was as if the arrow hit a random inanimate target instead of a being.
Jeremy looked at the direction the shadow man first was, wait. He's gone? He then looked towards the source of the arrow, that bastard moved into the trees and is shooting at Jeremy. "Oi! What the hell was that for, ya bastard? This would've killed me! Well, at least I have an excuse now..."

Jeremy held his arm out, his hand in a position seeming that he was holding something. Then, pentagrams appeared, floating in the air horizontally. There were two, one moved upwards, another downwards. A massive handle formed in Jeremy's hand, it was about 1 and a half the size of Jeremy. Along with the handle, a massive blade formed at the top end, it stretch about the same length as the user's body. The scythe had been summoned via summoning magic, the whole spell only lasted a couple seconds. Once the pentagrams disappeared, Jeremy quickly held the scythe in both hands. The blade pointing diagonally away and down on the right side of his body.
Charlotte and her mother both sat where they were told, their mouths and eyes wide open at the great weapon that suddenly appeared out of nowhere and the, supposedly fatal damage. It was a good thing it was just an arrow, regeneration won't be needed for this kind of damage. It can be left.

Xin Zhao had initially bowed to greet this man and extended a warm. "Hello then friend. I am Xin Zhao and I hail from the far East.". He felt somewhat odd after saying this. He examined the character before him when he rose form his bow and found him to be very...suspicious. Xin could not put his finger on it. He was an oddball but then again what did he know, he wasn't even from here. The Eastern warrior did find it very strange that he would not give his name, most of the people here did when greeted or greeting. Perhaps he did not have one, he thought. Or perhaps he does not want anyone to know...Keep an eye on him. The only issue being seeing him....

Upon hearing the Shapeshifter speak of how she healed when changed forms Xin's interest skyrocketed. He seemed oblivious to the fact that Ammy, the shapeshifter, was not very fond of him and he went on to state. "I would actually like to hear that explanation if it is not too much of a bother.".

Xin Zhao, unable to leap after this stranger who attacked them for no reason. He focused on defending his acquaintances who were all innocent in his eyes. When the stranger fled, Xin gave chase on foot. He had no real hope of catching him but he wanted to make sure. That he was gone. He had to defend them, regardless of who they were. He was honor bound to defend the innocent and in this situation they had done no wrong. They were innocent. He ceased to chase after some time. He needed to make sure they were safe that this danger was gone. He needed to_

"Reap the winds of peace!".

Xin was knocked back by a sudden and powerful gust of wind that swept through the pines and slammed into him. They dragged his body back till a tree got in the way and acted as an anchor. The winds died as suddenly as they came and Xin stood up immediately, his spear having been ripped from his grip, it was the first thing he searched for and went for after he stood. His eyes then examined the woods around him. This was the work of magic..., he thought. Be careful Xin...

"Show yourself!", he shouted holding his ground. " I am Xin Zhao and If wish to be make yourself my foe, then come and fight!".

There a few moments of silence..no not silence... There footsteps...Light foot steps. A woman walked around a tree, a woman that caused Xin to drop his spear and bow the instant he saw her. A thousand apologies flowed from his mouth, all of which were silenced by her beautiful and gentle voice.

"No need to apologize, Warrior of the East... I was merely preventing you from chasing whomever was in the trees...".

Joshua leaped from one final tree, feeling himself farther away than he was by the pond before. He heard rushing beneath him, and his heart pumped faster, the sound as if a drum being playing in his chest. He made an enormous leap to a farther tree, and stopped, hiding himself in the pine tree, fearing what it was.

It had been following him since the departure.

It spoke to him as if it knew him, his name, his language. He only saw its face, and ever since then was terrified. It always haunted him in his dreams, saying the words I see you and always staring, whenever he closed his eyes he saw it. Sometimes he felt it, but never thought of it actually being there. His mind was rushing as he thought of what it could be. Without another thought, he slowly looked downward, trying to see something..

One thing was for sure, he wasn't alone

Ammy’s jaw dropped, she screamed. Why the hell would she scream?! She looked over her shoulder at the girl and the dead woman, her arms spread as if to protect the girl. From what/who/danger? Ammy would protect them from harm. She was pack-kin. Slowly she turned to look at the girl, her tail wagging softly.

Relax/no fear/ sleep girl-kin. I/Ammy won’t hurt you, she thought softly, going down onto her belly when a shout rose her to her feat. She understood clearly and the anger that hit her sent her tail between her legs.

"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER!!

Death/She-who-had helped, what are you doing?!

Ammy whimpered, her eyes going wide as she realized he was coming closer, rising the weapon that would cut her in two. The look in his eyes gave her an answer. With a yelp she jumped away, trying everything to show she meant no harm to his pup. It was no use, they did not see/understand.

"Please!!" she barked.

Jeremy's anger continued, he refused to take his eye off of the wolf. Using his peripheral vision, he quickly side-stepped over to Charlotte and her mother, keeping the stance. But, the wolf seems to be whimpering, was it just the surprising scream of Charlotte that caused Jeremy to take action? But why did he? He never cared before, if Charlotte died, it was easy life energy to harvest.

Jeremy stared at the wolf, it was whimpering, or is it some kind of facade? He rested his stance a little, staying in the defensive. Underneath the rags, he was bearing his teeth. "Y-you... W-what were you doing? I-if you mean any harm, I'll kill you." Jeremy spoke out, the sound of his voice showed that he was speaking through gritted teeth. His intense anger caused him to stutter. "W-write, on the ground. N-now!" Jeremy gave the order, he wanted proof of his accomplices' safety.

Skye had listened to the conversation without much interest, and watched the water's reflection closely as Brim healed the wounds of the strange man with the giant sword. He still hadn't told her his name. She sighed, watching the water. Something had caught her eye. It seemed to be a shadowy figure, with only his eyes visible to her. They didn't look much like eyes, though.

Skye sighed, as Brimstone returned to her side. She was still watching the water. She was sure he knew she was watching, and Ammy, Jeremy, the man she had healed and Xin were all arguing who were to go hunting. She decided she would, too, but in the trees. Eggs were full of protein, and Brim could help locate some food sources such as fruit, or berries. Grabbing her small pack, she slung it over her shoulder and hoisted herself up the tree, when her friends began to leave. When she looked over, across the water, she could not see what was there anymore. It had gone.

Skye began climbing, higher and higher, until she was quite far off of the ground, but not so high that a fall would be fatal. She looked around. There was a nest over there, but she couldn't see any eggs quite yet...She made her way over, searching the nest. Ah! Yes, eggs had been laid in this nest. Skye picked them up and gently shook them, seeing if they had already turned into tiny birds. She was in luck, as all of them made no sounds of tiny birds. She put them in her pack delicately, when she heard screams. Alerted, Skye drew her dagger, heading as quickly as possible to the site of the screams. She saw something moving below her, in the branches. What was it? Was it the thing that was watching them?

Skye hurried after it, as quietly as possible. The brown mud that had caked her clothes proved useful as camoflague, and she quickly hurried towards the man, who stopped, seeming to listen to something. Skye held on tightly to her dagger, before silently jumping down, hurrying towards his back, and pressed the dagger to his throat with one hand, and covered his mouth with the other. (If it's okay.)

Crying as he laid on the side of that tree, Joshua stared into nothing. While he slowly whimpered, he tried to remember something to get his mind off of his close encounter. The girl, the small girl with mud on her dress. She didn't approach him, no, she stood back. Was she afraid? Was she doing something else? Or was she waiting for him to approach her? He didn't know, but by the time he was finished with those questions. Out of nowhere, he saw a flash of whiteness come from his right side, and immediately turned his whole body to the right more-so of the tree. The girl, it was her. He stood there, and started to raise his whole body to its full height, staring down on her. His face blocked by a branch in the way, but his white eye remaining staring at her, like an owl. He stood there, motionless, waiting for another movement of her so he could disarm her. He didn't know why, but she seemed nice. Maybe it was because of comparison to the others. With his eyes staring into hers, he gave the most creepiest smile ever, nothing able to be seem except for his perfect white set of teeth, almost in a "U" shape, and his eye. Just, staring..

Joshua still stood there, but then turned his head slightly to the dragon he never met. The large smile he grew on his face shortened slightly, then tilted his head to the dragon. He then reached out his hand, like that of a branch, thinking of this dragon as an animal of instinct, like all should be. He turned his head back to her, remaining to silent still. His other hand wasn't seen, as it reached around the tree, right by her forearm, waiting for her to move that arm so he could snatch it. His white eye gleamed more, squinting harder. He closed his owlish brown eye to give more of a fear-like smile, thinking it distorted without an eye. He merely smiled at her, and he felt the fear rushing off of her. He heard running behind her, and slightly turned his head that way, wanting to hear more, but not looking away from the girl. He looked at her, thinking in his own head I see you as he kept the smile on his face, for some reason enjoying it. He felt power, as if all the pain that it brought him, it helped him in the same way...

Once the footsteps were gone, the smile faded, and only the eye was shown.

Joshua, leaving the girl in the dress by herself in the tree, leaped off of the branch, forwarding towards the necromancer. He roared as he ran on both his feet and legs, yelling "Stay away!" He leaped as he landed on the other side of her, his whole figure prowling like that of a tiger or a lion's. His golden brown eye faced towards him, it's fury easily seen. He stopped circling, facing towards him, holding his sword with his right hand, still in the sheathe, but easy to quickly whip out. He meant to do anything so save this girl. "Don't. Touch her." He said, snarling at the fact that he laid his hand, his cold, dark, evil hand on her shoulder. He stared at him, and every now and then at the girl, but only a flicker of the eye. He looked at him as if that was his property, a living thing, that he would take care of. He was enraged, thinking he'd kill her, probably knowing inside, but not now. He just stood there, ready to fight till his last breath, only three feet away from the body. He knew that the she-wolf was near him as well, but thought of them both on the same side, for now. He paid no mind to her, only waiting for him to do something. His mindset was only to back them off, even if it means death, and save the girl. He didn't know her, but she seemed familiar. You're nothing but evil, Joshua thought of the necromancer, staring dead into his eye, and if you hurt her I swear I'll end you.

It was a matter of action and reaction, in his mind.

Jeremy was suddenly pushed back, his life like condition kept him in balance as he noticed that the moose girl had returned. But she was human. Jeremy quickly glanced back at Charlotte who had no reaction over seeing the moose girl, in fact it seemed as if her face had lightened. Thank goodness, it seems it's best to question the moose girl about her wolf mode. Oh wait, she had passed out with the woman? It can wait.

Suddenly, Jeremy heard a shout, followed by a figure zooming between him and the girls. He seemed a bit pissed off, and was reading his sword. Wait, isn't that guy familiar? That's right! It's the guy with the crossbow. That's when Jeremy remembered, there was an arrow stuck in his chest. He glanced down to see the wooden shaft poking out from his dead heart.
"Oh, it's you! The great pussy who ran from the undead." He spoke out while pulling the arrow out of his chest, it seemed in perfect condition. No blood or bodily fluids. Jeremy's croaky voice was raised a little, showing that he was attempting to be antagonizing.

"Now... Coward Monkey. You finally gonna be brave?" Jeremy was giving off his taunts as he held his right arm out. The same thing happened as it did at the pond, the two horizontal pentagrams formed and separated to form the massive scythe. Gaining the same stance, Jeremy held the scythe with both hands, the blade on the right side and pointed diagonally downwards towards the ground. His legs spaced apart to form a counterweight with his body and to keep his balance.
"You two, stay back." Jeremy warned the two behind him, the both backed off a little. Charlotte called out in a high pitched, tired voice. "Be careful!"

Smiling behind the rags, Jeremy looked back at Coward Monkey. Ready.
