Age
17

Role
Earth Demon

Gender
Female

Partner

Abilities/Skills
Kiera has always prided herself in being a skilled fighter; unlike some demons, it's all she knows. She enjoys fighting most with her fists, but if you give her any weapon, she'll gladly take it. She's good at adapting to weapons, and has an uncanny ability of being able to masterfully use a weapon that she's never seen before right away. She's also quite intelligent, but doesn't like to flaunt it as much as she does her fighting ability. Other than fighting, Kiera isn't really good at much other things. She's a good climber, and quite stealthy, like a cat, but she's no good at running, and doesn't have much endurance when it comes to traveling/running long distances. She dabbles with cooking, but isn't very good, so she's taken to eating frozen dinners or fast food during her time on Earth, and she's no good at any type of art, may it be culinary, musically, or artistically. And one of her major flaws is that she can't lie, at least not well. And even if she does pull off a lie, she usually ends up feeling guilty afterwards and admitting to it, later.

Personality
Kiera has a feisty, strong willed personality. She's a very independent female, and hates to be pushed around or told what to do. She can get rather violent at times, and has a tendency to attack people (physically and/or verbally) without meaning to. She's very stubborn and rude, as well as blunt and a bit ignorant as well. Though, she can be loving at times, as well. She hates to admit it, but she has a soft side for people who she cares about, and can get a bit carried away with her feelings at times, although when that happens, she usually snaps out of it and gets rather angry with herself afterwards. Despite her naturally mean nature, however, she's actually very caring, and is willing to help people, however begrudgingly she does it, no matter what. Kiera hates to see people hurt, but hides it behind a mask of indifference.

Weakness
One weakness of Kiera's earth bending is that she can't do it when she's sick, it's a weird "malfunction" in her body, where if she has a cold or the flu, her powers just stop working, and she has to rely on her body's own ability to keep up a fight without her powers. She can tell if she's starting to get sick, because her powers start weakening, and as the sickness gets worse, her powers get weaker and weaker. For this reason, she tries to keep herself as healthy as possible, and she's a bit of a germ-o-phobe. She's also very claustrophobic and can't be in a space smaller the 5 ft wide/tall without freaking out. But, her biggest weakness is her human. If he was to die, or get hurt, she'd drop everything to help him.

Appearance Description
Kiera has long, deep auburn hair and matching brown eyes. Her skin is a pale cream color that tans very easily if she's out in the sun for extended periods of time. She normally will keep her hair up in a simple ponytail, but will occasionally experiment with other styles, depending on her mood. She's still not very good at dressing like a human, so she can usually be easily picked out of a crowd by what she's wearing. She likes to wear the type of clothing that she wore in hell, clothing which, to humans, at least, can look rather extravagant (like the outfit in the picture). But rather than leave her wardrobe at that, she tries to dress up "human" by adding some Earth clothing to her wardrobe as well, to try to blend in, such as a sweatshirt and a belt or something over top. She has plenty of scars all over her body from fighting, including a long, thin one that runs from the lower right side of her jaw to just above her bellybutton. The scar basically looks like someone took a white gel pen or something and just ran it down the side of her body.

Feelings about other characters.
Demons
"They are my kin, but that doesn't mean anything here. Until the war begins and we're forced to become allies, they are my enemies."

Lidiya Ugov- Kiera has a respect for Lidiya, for she admires the element of fire, and she finds the temper on the other demon quite funny at times. Though, a lot of times, she finds Lidiya's clutzy-ness a bit annoying, and she doesn't like the fact that she's so quiet. Lidiya is probably Kiera's favorite out of the demons, because the two are alike in more ways than with the other two.

Feldt Seiei- Once again, Kiera has respect for Feldt, too. But, she has a certain degree of respect for all of the demons, but it doesn't mean that she likes them. She accepts that Feldt would be a very good ally against Soshi's forces, but that's not going to keep her from attacking her if she comes across her in Tokyo. Though she tries her hardest not to show it, Kiera is actually secretly afraid of Feldt, therefore she's not willing to fight the other demon as hard as she would any of the others for fear of causing her to revert to her "second state". Feldt is most likely the only demon that Kiera would deliberately be the one to end or run away from a fight with. Other than that, like with Lidiya, Kiera doesn't like that Feldt is so quiet. It's almost as annoying as people who are too loud to her.

Air Demon- Will Edit

Human Males
"What can I say? They are human. And male no less! Please, try not to get your feelings hurt. Hmpf."
(Meh, I'm feeling lazy, I'll do this part later..)

Other
Another less prominent or important weakness of hers is her weakness for sweet foods, especially chocolate covered anything. Give her anything covered in chocolate, and she'll just melt. You probably won't recognize her with the amount of change in her personality when she's eating chocolate.

Sit tight, I'm gonna need you to keep time
Come on just snap, snap, snap your fingers for me
Good, good now we're making some progress
Come on just tap, tap, tap your toes to the beat
And I believe this may call for a proper introduction, and well
Don't you see, I'm the narrator, and this is just the prologue?

Swear to shake it up, if you swear to listen
Oh, we're still so young, desperate for attention
I aim to be your eyes, trophy boys, trophy wives

Swear to shake it up, if you swear to listen
Oh, we're still so young, desperate for attention
I aim to be your eyes, trophy boys, trophy wives

It seems the artists these days are not who you think
So we'll pick back up on that on another page

I Don't Wanna Be In Love
She's going out to forget they were together
All that time he was taking her for granted
She wants to see if there's more
than he gave she's looking for

He calls her up
He's trippin on the phone now
He doesn't want her out there
And alone now
He knows she's movin it
Knows she's using it
Now he's losing it
She don't care

Everybody put up your hands
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love
Feel the beat now
If you've got nothing left
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love
Back it up now
You've got a reason to live
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love
Feelin' good now
Don't be afraid to get down
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love

He was always giving her attention
Looking hard to find the things she mentioned
He was dedicated
But most suckers hate it
That girl was fine
But she didn't appreciate him

She calls him up
She's tripping on the phone now
He had to get up
And he ain't comin home now
He's tryin to forget her
That's how we come with him
When he first met her
When they first got together
Everybody put up your hands
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love
Feel the beat now

If you got nothing left
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love
Back it up now
You got a reason to live
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love
Feelin' good now
Don't be afraid to get down
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love

To the beat (x3)
You got nothing to lose
Don't be afraid to get down

We break up
It's something that we do now
Everyone has got to do it sometime
It's okay, let it go
Get out there and find someone

It's too late to be trippin' on the phone here
Get off the wire
You know everything is good here
Stop what you're doin'
You don't wanna ruin
The chance that you got to
find a new one

Everybody put up your hands
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love
Feel the beat now
If you got nothing left
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love
Back it up now
You got a reason to live
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love
Feelin' good now
Don't be afraid to get down
Say I don't wanna be in love
I don't wanna be in love

Nooo... Noooo

Now you know what to do, so come on feelin' good.

Kiera Katzubin

A tall, seemingly normal girl walked down the quiet streets of the town called Beamore. Her brown eyes sweeping the streets over and over, her body tense as if she was waiting for something to jump out of the shadows. Once she reached the inner square of the town, she turned around and walked right back the way she came for the fifth time that night.

Looking as if she was dressed for a Halloween party in her demon garb, Kiera had gotten many strange looks from the town's citizens when she began pacing up and down Prince street. But, the looks had slowly stopped as the humans went in their houses to cozy up in a bed. Something that Kiera couldn't do.

Finally, when she finished her last trek down Prince, she turned a corner on the edge of town, and found herself in the "ghetto" of Beamore. Sighing deeply, the demon strutted a few feet before finding the nice dark alley that she's called her home for the past week. Since she was dumped on Earth, Kiera hadn't bothered trying to find a better place to stay. She barely came out of her alley unless she was hungry. Scowling at the putrid smell of garbage that had been piling up, she went to the corner where she slept and curled up, trying to get warm.

Sleep had almost found the lone girl, when the sound of people entering her alley tore her awake. She opened one of her eyes to see the shadows of a large amount of human males gathered in a ring near the entrance. Listening intently, she deduced that the humans were circling what sounded like some sort of street fight, though it was hard to tell through the drunken shouts and laughs of the men.

Kiera frowned at the men, but just lay there quietly, because without her powers, she knew even she couldn't fight off dozens of men influenced by alcohol. There was a loud roar from the crowd, that died down slowly as the men giggled and seemed to pat each other on the backs happily while they began to leave the alley. The fight was over. She could see that the only people left seemed to be the winning fighter, the loser (who was lying on the ground, undoubtedly unconscious), and a rather tall man holding what appeared to be a large wad of cash in his hand as he spoke in hushed tones to the winner.

She strained to hear what the two were saying, but her ears still ached from all of the earlier noise. She wondered why they would bother to whisper; after all, the yelling from before didn't attract any unwanted attention. As the men talked, Kiera relaxed back in her sleeping position, yawning silently.

She closed her eyes, and just before sleep could swallow her tired body, she felt a tickle in her nose, and before the demon could stop it, she let out a loud sneeze. "Oh shit-"

Her body went rigid as she opened her eyes and peeked at the three men. The two who had been talking earlier had stopped, their shadow covered bodies tense. Their heads facing her direction.

Ginji Hegawa

Ginji took slow deep breaths as the adrenaline left his bloodstream. His opponent, a fatter drunken man about his height, was lying face down in the alley. There was no doubt that the man was unconscious. Ginji could still see the man's face thanks to the dim light from the surrounding buildings. His nose was at an odd angle and blood leaked from either nostril. There was no doubt that it was broken. He wouldn't have been surprised if a tooth or two were chipped or broken. Or even missing. Ginji didn't pull any punches. He went down in three strikes after one clumsily thrown punch. It wasn't even difficult. Ginji didn't like it, but deep down he wished his opponent had fought more.

The wall of men that encircled the improvised fight pit slowly dispersed. The spectators occasionally stumbled on the boards; one particularly drunken man fell flat on his face with a grunt and muffled swearing. The "manager" of the fight approached Ginji, and handed him a rather large wad of bills and coins. It would certainly get him through the week, possibly several if he managed it properly. The fight manager offered some muted congratulations before he himself wandered off. Ginji slowly pocketed the money and turned to leave the alley. He felt the spot on his arm where he deflected his opponents drunken punch. Nothing. He doubted it would even bruise.

A sneeze made him stop in his tracks. It came from a grouping of garbage bags near the front of the alleyway. Ginji cautiously approached the bag, body tense and ready for any possible confrontation. He stole a quick look over his shoulder to see what the other man was doing. The fight manager was busy trying to wake up the unconscious loser with no success. His focus was centered on the garbage bags once again. When he was able to see what was concealing the garbage bags, he didn't expect to see what he saw.

There, siting among the foul smelling filth, was a rather cute girl in one of the strangest outfits he had ever seen. It looked something that belonged in a cosplay competition. Her body was covered in pale white scars that almost blended into her pale skin. She looked like she had been through a war or something. Ginji felt sorry for her, nobody should have to live in filth like that. He took a chance and stretched out his hand.

"Hey. I don't know where you're from, or what you're doing living in garbage like that. It's not my place to inquire into things like that. But if you would be willing to trust a total stranger, I can take you to my apartment and give you a place for the night. A bed and warm food, how does that sound?" He finished his proposition with a (hopefully) warm smile on his face. He felt like he should help this girl, for reasons that he couldn't understand at the moment. He wondered how she would respond.

Kiera narrowed her eyes, two of the men didn't seem to have noticed her, but the winner of the fight had. She arched her back like a cat ready to strike, but the man didn't seem to notice. No, he held out his hand to her and talked to her as if she was a lost child."Hey. I don't know where you're from, or what you're doing living in garbage like that. It's not my place to inquire into things like that. But if you would be willing to trust a total stranger, I can take you to my apartment and give you a place for the night. A bed and warm food, how does that sound?"

She scowled and smacked his hand away, standing up on her own and dusting off her clothing. "I don't know who you think you are," Kiera hissed through her teeth. "-To think that I'd need the help of a filthy street fighter." She crossed her arms over her chest and looked over the insolent human who tried to help her.

He was dirty from the grime and dust that covered the alley, but he still had the appearance of a well-kept young person. He was also muscular, but not to the point of being overwhelming. His black hair was messy and his grey eyes were sincere and kind, so much so that it almost made the female demon forget why he was standing there in front of her. If it wasn't for a sudden growl that came from her stomach that caused her to jump a bit.

She sent him a dirty look and pointed to her stomach. "Fine, I'll come with you, but not because I want to." She added, "I just need food and the trash in here is not adequate to my tastes. I will leave your house as soon as I finish eating and get cleaned up, and I will stay no longer. You will not ask any questions and will do as I say. Now, lead me to your so called 'apartment' so that we can both get this over with."

Ginji's face never changed as his hand was slapped away. The comment on his being a "filthy street fighter". That stung a little bit, yet he shrugged it off anyway. He considered walking away from the girl that very moment were it not for the ravenous growl from her stomach. His right eyebrow rose in incredulity. Holy... When was the last time that this girl ate? She glared at him so he hurriedly dropped his eyes.

Strange girl. She's probably foreign. Ginji glanced at her outfit again. Definitely foreign. Probably some higher up family or something. It would explain the attitude anyway. Ginji simply shrugged his shoulders as he began to walk towards his apartment. "Whatever you say. Just follow me." He began to exit the alleyway but turned back for a moment to look her in the eyes. "I know you said no questions, but you could at least tell me your name before I let you stay in my apartment."

((I'm going to timeskip a few minutes so that Kiera and Ginji get to his apartment)).

Ginji unlocked his 2nd floor apartment with the key that was attached to a string on his belt. The door swung open to the dark interior of the apartment. He flicked the light switch next to the door. The soft light illuminated the bare apartment furnishings. A large main room with a bedroll in the corner and a small table on the opposite wall. Next to the bedroll was a sliding closet door where Ginji kept his clothing. To the right of the main room was a small hallway similar to the one at the entry of the door. On the left side of the hallway was the kitchen with basic commodities. At the end of the hallway was the bathroom. Ginji extended his arm and stood by to let Kiera enter.

"This is where I live for now. I'll get something to eat started soon, shower if you want. You can borrow a few of my clothes if you want to wash your own. Or I could wash them on my own. It's up to you."

Kiera sneered at the male as he looked her over, it was as if he was trying to figure out if he wanted to take her in or not. The human world was so backwards, she had already told him her conditions hadn't she? Now was the time to lead her to his 'apartment' not make a final decision. "Whatever you say. Just follow me."

That's more like it. Kiera thought, taking her time in gathering the few belongings she had acquired during her stay, and following. "I know you said no questions, but you could at least tell me your name before I let you stay in my apartment."

Kiera looked up at him with a slight frown on her face, "That seems like sufficient request." She responded, "my name is Kiera, fifth daughter of the Katzubin family. Since you seem to be-" she looked him over with a slight look of distaste- "of lower rank, you may address me as Mistress Kiera, or Master, if you so please." Her nose stuck in the air as she strode along behind the young man who was leading her. "You may now tell me your name and rank." She ordered, speeding up slightly so that she could walk next to him.

(Time skippy~)

Kiera followed Ginji into his apartment silently. She looked around at her surroundings curiously, frowning. It was more plain than the hole that she had been living in, though she was internally glad that it didn't reek of garbage, it actually smelled quite homely. She breathed in deeply, trying to identify what the smell may be, but Ginji's voice interrupted her thoughts.

"This is where I live for now. I'll get something to eat started soon, shower if you want. You can borrow a few of my clothes if you want to wash your own. Or I could wash them on my own. It's up to you."

"You better be a good cook." Was all she said, before she began to strip down to her undergarments in the main room. Now completely naked, the female demon (who knew no better, being raised with other female demons), left her clothing on the table and headed to the bathroom to get cleaned up. "Wash my clothing." She instructed, "also, I want you to leave a clean change of clothing on the floor outside of the bathroom. That is an order." Kiera walked into the bathroom and closed the door. "I expect dinner to be prepared and hot when I get out, understand?"

Without waiting for an answer, she turned on the water, and began to shower, fully clean for the first time since she came to this retched place.

((Sorry for the crappy-ness, freaking writers block))
