{Jokester, Chatterbox, Accepting, Adaptable}
Adam has always been cheerful, the kind of kid to smile even when utterly stressed out. Never giving in to the sadness, because, well if he did then that would probably be the end of his joyful demeanor. He doesn't like to let things get to him, so one could say he has a tough exterior. He typically tries to be someone for others to lean on, when its he himself who actually needs someone. He does rely heavily on social situations to keep him going and cheerful, knowing that if he were to fall back into the slump that his parents put him in he would likely never get passed it again. He likes to joke around a lot, but he isn't someone who makes sarcastic jokes. And his jokes are never mean or pointed towards other people. He just likes to make others laugh, and enjoys when he can put a smile on someone else's face.
He is very smart...but he doesn't like to apply himself. He doesn't like school settings, and sitting still for any period of time can make him go stir crazy. Which is why he puts so much energy and time into gym classes, since in them he can be active and move around. While he isn't lazy, he can be known to spend hours playing video games or wasting the day on a computer. By no means is he a social recluse though, as he is usually spending time with his best friend or anyone who he considers a friend.
For that matter he makes friends at a strangely fast pace, sometimes he will assume someone is a friend without actually knowing or not. In the past this has led to some misunderstandings and hurt, but for the most part he finds that most people accept his antics. On that note Adam himself is extremely accepting. He takes people as they are, and doesn't try to change them. He loves the flaws, the differences, and imperfections of the people around him. Growing up he was expected to be perfect, and anything that is less than perfect draws him in. With acceptance comes the ability to adapt fast to his situation. Whether it be a sudden change in scenery or a major lifestyle change he finds himself switching gears easily. He is not afraid of change, but he often finds it annoying or inconvenient.
Being slightly impulsive has given him a bad reputation. Often acting before thinking or speaking before letting his filter take hold. He can talk your ear off if you let him, and some people find that annoying - Adam just likes to think of it as a cute quirk. Though taking him in can be exhausting to some. He knows that those who can tolerate him (like his best friend) are the good friends that usually stick around longer.

| Style |
One could say that Adams style is...unique. But in fact its more that he doesn't have a sense of style. He just wears whatever he can come up with - and usually it isn't that great.

| History |
Growing up in a primarily religious family has given Adam a certain 'different' view on the world. As a child he underwent strict discipline and learning, and at first he never really complained or fought against it. He thought that this was the way things were, he didn't know any better. His parents were unique in the way that they went above and beyond the call of religious morals. They frowned upon just about anything that was different from them. Making Adams childhood a boring hell, and if it weren't for his sister he would have been completely alone in his suffering. Thankfully, his sister Grace was an unstoppable force as a teenager so she paved the way for Adam to actually experience the world beyond the rigorous schedule of their own home.
They had homeschooled Adam and Grace, until their resources and money began to run dry with the recent lay-offs at his fathers job. When things got rough his parents conceded to sending them both to public schools (even though their first choice would have been a private one governed by their religion of choice.) While it was a big adjustment for Adam he found the freedom invigorating. It also allowed Adam to test the boundaries at long last, first by branching out and making friends with people his parents would deem less than desirable, and finally by pushing past the limits of what he could and couldn't do. He became a bit of a rule breaker in his early days of freedom.
Getting into trouble in class, fighting, and finding himself in shady situations.
However as he reached high school he began to settle down into a more comfortable sort of role. No longer heeding to his parents law, but not exactly doing anything to get himself in big trouble - he mostly contributes this to his best friend Chase, who kept him busy and out of major trouble. He still manages to make trouble, just not for things that are quite so crazy. In fact he contributes most of his settling down to his best friend, since he found that instead of deliberately breaking rules all he needed was to find some good friends that he could vent to about all the crazy crap his parents liked to rain down on him.
Things change though, and sometimes its hard to tell whether its for the better. The party had been a simple rebellion against his parents 8 O'clock curfew (Seriously, what teenager is going to pay attention to a curfew like that?) There was the usual, teens doing what teens will do. Adam himself was a bit tipsy, and he could have blamed the alcohol for what came next. Chase kissing him...well, it would be lying to say it was all Chase. And he couldn't blame the alcohol for the resulting feelings - albeit confused ones - that arose. He only wishes things didn't have to be so complicated.
