In front of the emperor Sui walks in lackadaisical confidence. Shoulders slumped, head titled upwards, gait long and powerful, he is a man with purpose. His warm green eyes watching your every move. Eyebrows raised with a smirk lazily decorating his face, he is the picture perfect image of decadence.
To those whom he commands, the firm press of his lips compliments the eerie calm in his gaze. Back ramrod straight, hands clenched in the only sign of anxiety, there is not a single thing about him that calls for disrespect. He is the portrait of sophistication and professionalism.
By himself however, he lets his armor fall. The personas he’s worked so hard to build then start to crumble. Sui drags himself to his bed, his feet catching tiles like goo. Dragging a hand across his sickly tinted skin he remains silent. He has no words of his own. He never has.
As he looks up at the ceiling, shrouded in darkness, he sees nothing but light. His eyes are bloodshot, they always are, but this time he lets the mask of indifference unveil his vision. Stringy white hair sticks to his face, annoying him perpetually, but every time he makes a motion to shift his head more strands attach itself to him. Finally, he sighs.

There is nothing more rich to Sui than the realization of self. Not the self proposing kind — that would be nearly impossible for him — but rather through the eyes of those around him.
To be told what he should be, what he should do, what he should say, for him there is comfort in complacency. He objectively knows that suck thinking is toxic, unhealthy for his mind, but perhaps that is why he loves it so. Sui wouldn’t call it self destruction, that’s too harsh of a word for something so kind, he’d call it creation.
Despite his vulnerable disposition however, he is not one to be easily manipulated by those whom he deems weaker than him. He only submits to those of higher power and whose guidance he can follow with complete trust; and for that reason he would be willing to do anything that person would ask of him.
With everything he does however, he does it in earnest. Sui holds no hidden agendas, and he knows — he hopes — that those whom he has placed his trust in knows that as well. Such is the reason he allows himself a small freedom, that being he can pretend even to his own reflection.

Although he could convince himself that he admires or loves anything, there are a few things that he’s naturally drawn to. One of which is his appreciation for art, most namely that of nature. There’s something unexplainable about the complexity of an ecosystem that paintings seem to capture very well. Maybe though he appreciates the way he can see another persons perspective, perceiving it exactly as they thought of it whether it be in all its beauty or cruelty. As well Sui enjoys warm mornings and the sound of life around him.

More than anything Sui hates music. He hates how he cannot interpret it, how he has to feel it rather than see it, and how raw it’s emotions are. However, even more intolerable is the sound of silence, where thoughts creep into his mind unwarranted and unappreciated. Also Sui does not like being told what to do from someone whom he considers to be of a lower rank. The reason behind such actions being why should he be told what to do from someone weaker, someone whose life is insignificant.

Visual Linking - With this power Sui is able to tap into a persons consciousness, seeing everything they do. He cannot hear their thoughts or control their movements, but like a ghost he can observe them. To link however he’d need to be within a twenty mile radius and have at least made physical contact once. The more times he’s touched a person the longer he can remain in their consciousness unseen, but after some time they would have the ability to realize and kick him out. Entering that persons mind again may prove more difficult or impossible if that were to happen. As well, by visual linking his own body is completely defenseless. Sui would not be able to move at all while within another person’s body.
Heat manipulation - He mostly uses it as a parlor trick, showing people that he can warm them up significantly or make them freezing cold. To be able to use this power he would need to have direct vision to the person and be touching them as well. More than once he’s used it to get information out of people, but rarely does he have to — visual linking most of the time telling him what he needs to know.
Spear — Sui possess a large spear as his weapon of choice. Finally decorated and lethal to boot. He utilizes in combat, and is very proficient at it. He’s able to use it offensively, jabbing and striking when he sees fit, as well as defensively, blocking and deflecting. He uses the point to ram through his opponents that he wishes to eliminate while simply using the butt of the pole to knock out another. It all depends on what the objective is and how important it is to protect or capture. /font]
