The people who run the city have recently begun acting as if they were running their own country, not city, and they act as if they may do whatever it is they wish to. Because of this developed pride of theirs, the city leaders have also been amassing a small army of sorts to use to expand Portum Animas??? borders beyond what they are now, intending to seize control of more land outside the pre-established borders of the city. In order to carry out their plans, the city???s government has been seeking out and detaining any individual who is discovered to have been born with a certain level of power to their bodies, these individuals are either studied by hired researchers who are paid to keep their jobs secret, or they are put to use as agents if they show no signs of resistance. This is only when a person has aggressive abilities though, if someone is passive in their powers, detainees will be left in the care of the city???s church.

What was uncommon, however, was that the city guard was blocking off the entire street. Despite claiming to be fine, the drivers were rushed off to the hospital for treatment and the street had been evacuated. Word ha come quickly from the brass. Nobody was to be on the street near the collision site. Nobody was to be within viewing range of the cargo while it was being cleaned up. And it was to be cleaned up and moved quickly. The field marshal was not happy with this particular delay.
James Tiraninot, said field marshal himself, watched with the eyes of a hawk as the crates of equipment were being loaded into a new truck. The process was taking longer then he liked, and he could feel the impatience seeping in. He quelled the urge to berate someone over the incident, as it wouldn't make things go any faster, but the frustartion still mounted over what he considered an inexcusable stalling of his time.
"Aldous!" He barked, making said man next to him jump. "I want this mess cleaned up and moving again now. Have a squad moving ahead to clear out the roads between hear and the deposit point." He started moving as he talked. "I need to be at the next meeting in an hour. This delay has taken enough of my time as it is. Give me an update on our other operations. What was the outcome of our stake out in the weapons depot?"
"Two apprehended. Both have yet to be identified as members of the 'Deck' organization but we have belief that they are. Interrogation has been on hold until later this evening."
"And today's recruitment reports?"
"Three being moved into the barracks for orientation procedures."
"Good. I want a personal session planned for as soon as I get done with tonight council meeting." Tiraninot reached for the door for his personal car when his attendant spoke up again. "There is one more thing, sir. We believe we've found evidence of subject 347." Tiraninot stopped halfway from getting into his seat. He turned slowly toward Aldous to fix a steeled focus. "Where?"
"Xibalba. A body in one of the alley's was found. The damage matches her capabilities." Tiraninot nearly shook with anger. He would have liked to know this information much sooner. "Get any available suppression squads in the area ASAP. They are too capture if possible, and terminate if not. She does not leave the distract alive. Is that understood?"
"Yes sir."
