Grandpa Stinky's Story

"R-REALLY?!" Karasz facepalms, "Renna, you could've asked us before picking up this stranger in an orange suit. You don't even know of that person is good or bad!" As for that, he groaned and he is getting off the ship and heads for the cafe. "Forget it, I'll just look for answers. Maybe Grandpa Stinky knows about the whole point of that last conversation."

Karasz enters the cafe and looks for somebody who know anything about where Leilanie went. An old coot returns from the kitchen after his short break. Karasz knows who to ask and sit on the stool in front of him.

"Oh, it's you again. What do you need this time?" asked Grandpa Stinky.

"I need to know where Leilanie Sowanaga left. Was she here before?" Karasz asked.

"I was taking a break, so I don't know. I'm not an eye witness or anything damn it! If I do know, then I would not be in the kitchen taking a break and watching old lady magazines."

The customers gasped at Grandpa Stinky for admitting that without realizing he said out loud. Stinky, who confused by the response by his customers, look at them with a raised eyebrow on his face.

"It's an old lady magazine, get over it!" Grandpa turns to Karasz, "Look here whippersnapper, I do not know about her, but I do know that she is going on a treasure hunt. Something about collecting tower keys and finding out what the Bell Tower holds."

"The Bell Tower?"

"Aye... Nobody has ever been there until later. But I know for a fact that there is a guardian in the tower who is sleeping in there for over 500 years. Don't believe what the news tell you, boy- there ain't no treasure in there!"

"...." Karasz thinks for a moment and looks at Stinky, "Are you certain that there is a monster sleeping there? If that's the case, I better get there before somebody arrives with the key shards. The treasure hunters don't know what they're doing!"

"Of course lad! The ancients are pulling their legs."

Renna and Chelle walked into the cafe, and listened to the conversation. Renna and Chelle were hitting it off great, and would be a great team. Chelle frowned, and wrote in her notebook. Another the cake is a lie incident... Chelle sighed and Renna pat her back. "It's ok, I know. But hey, this means an adventure!" She grinned at Chelle, cheering her up greatly. Yeah! They grinned and Renna walked over to Grandpa Stinky. "Look here Old man, did anyone say anything about where they were heade first? Any of your coworkers say anything? Also can I have 4 milkshakes to go, two chocolate, one caramel, and one banana." She smiled as she made her order, putting down 20 rupees and a 5 dollar bill.

Grandpa Stinky takes the money and gives Renna her order. Karasz picks up a caramel milkshake and drinks it up. Toniyo did the same with his banana milkshake too. Even if Karasz drinks his milkshake, he is still worried about Leilanie. Maybe if there is something in the Bell Tower other than treasure, he has to go there and warn the treasure hunters about it. He hopes that they will believe him.

"I just can't stay here and do nothing while that thing goes on." Karasz sighs, "Renna, I have to get to the Bell Tower. If there is no treasure but a monster living in there, I have to get there and warn them. But... They are too greedy to realize that!"

"Well why didn't you say so?" She grinned and finished her milkshake in one chug. She beckoned for everyone to take their milkshakes and go. "See ya Old Man." She grinned manically and walked out the cafe and stopped outside. "So where's this bell tower? And by the way, why not just phone her or something?" She crossed her arms as the others finished their milkshakes.

"The Bell Tower is located at a continent called Yuyake. If we can get there before they do, we should be able to warn them that the treasure is a hoax." Karasz state his plan.

"Hey, you!"

Grandpa Stinky calls out to Dan Free-goer. He seems like he needs Dan for some reason.

"yes old man? What do you want?" Dan stops playing the knife game

"If you're really bored that much, then I have a solution for you." Stinky began to ask a quesiton, "Have you ever heard of Haven's Techno Dome?"

"No. And im not bored, but what about it?"

"The Techno Dome is where the fighters come to compete in grudge matches and tournament. Perhaps you can put your skills to the test. I suggest you try a grudge match before you can enter the tournament."

"Huh, a fight club? Fine, I'll try it." Dan walks out the door and pulls out a very bloody knife

Claptrap and Steve enter the cafe, and Claptrap is showing off his gem to the public. It looks like his ego is at it again.

"Your new hero has risen! This gemstone proves that Claptrap is still in the big leagues!" Claptrap announcement, "I have found the treasure all thanks to yours truly any my minions!"

One customer throws a milkshake at Claprap despite all the hard work he put up with.

"Gemstone not good enough for you? Darnit! I forgot to bring something or someone with me? A princess? A hero's medallion? What am I missing?"

"Heyoo?" Steve spoke.

"No, Steve. Proper education won't work like that. Education is for lifeforms who wanted to learn about anything! Robots, on the other hand, are intelligent from the start all thanks to the proper CPU processing and advanced specifications."

"If you're really smart, why don't you teach humans instead of blabbering about it?" Grandpa Stinky spoke.

"Stinky! You're not dead! That's wonderful!"

"Gahhh... Your voice is starting to kill my eardrums already."

Peacock entered alongside Claptrap. This time, when that milkshake was thrown at Claptrap...

"Hey, wise-guy!" She pointed her revolver at the sorry sap who did it. "This li'l guy's got more guts than you'll ever have! I didn't see YOU chasing any of the keys, you gutless...!"

"ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! I'M SORRY! I JUST CAN'T STAND HEARING THAT VOICE OF HIS!!!"

The man who threw the milkshake stands up and sprints out of the cafe.

"Yeah, that's what I thought," Peacock snarked while removing the milkshake from Claptrap's hull. She then sat down at the nearest table and sipped the shake.

"As I was saying..." Grandpa Stinky resumes talking to Claptrap, "It just takes more than just treasure hunting to gain respect you know."

"Oh really? What do you know about respect?" Claptrap asked, "Is it about slaying a dragon with an epic laser sword that deals bazillion damage points?"

"No."

"Is it about disarming a bomb at a local planetary bank?"

NO.

"Is it--"

"GAHH!! Forget it! I am getting sick of your chatterbox. Your voice is making my ears bleed."

"Okay! I'll just leave if you don't want me around." Claptrap is about to leave, but his antennae is caught by Stinky, "WA..?"

"Also, your bill is way past due."

"WHAT?!!!" Claptrap looks at Steve, "Steve, I thought you paid all the bills by stealing other bandits' money!"

"Heyoo...?" Steve clearly forgot to do that. He was busy looking at bandit pornography.

"AAARGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! STEVE, YOU STUPID F-*BEEP**BEEP**BEEP*GODDAMN--FU*BEEP*SH*BEEP**BEEP**BEEP**BEEP*---!!!!

"No cursing in my cafe!" Stinky warned, "You have a big debt to pay off and I expect you to earn money from jobs. But since you have that gem, this will at least give you a good start." He then takes Claptrap's gem away and store it in his pocket, "You still have to pay off your debts. You ordered a lot of pizzas but you haven't paid me at all."

"I was depressed! Nobody came to my birthday party."

"I don't care about that! Now get your metal butt out of my cafe and don't come back until you pay off your debts!"

"Fine! But you will rue the day that you took my achievement from my cold metal hands!" Claptrap storms out of the cafe, but leaves Steve behind because he failed to help Claptrap out with his money issues.

"{sigh} C'mon, Steve. We better help the sap out," Peacock said, leading the way outside.

At a nearby table, a long-haired girl is sitting by herself, giving a depressed sigh.

"Aye, fancing seeing you again Ms. Katsura," Stinky greeted, "What seems to be problem?"

"...I heard the news lately. He...He really is gone now..." Kotonoha replied sadly.

"I have a grimful feeling that you brought him up." Stinky sighed, "But I have no idea what sort of fate he encountered."
