Physical Description: Sockie is quite tall, with a white sock over his head and eye holes cut into this make-shift mask with sunglasses over them. He also wears a red shirt, and blue pants, gloves, and socks. (completely lacking shoes) Like all Sockonians, Sockie is pretty much identical to a human underneath his mask.

Personality: Sockie boasts two of the greatest personality traits known to all living creatures: insanity and vanity. His desire for admiration and attention from the public, combined with his penchant for the silly, makes him very unpredictable. (he also welcomes any opportunity to add to Sockonia's treasure vault) That said, Sockie is genuinely devoted to stopping evil and keeping people everywhere safe. Those he calls friends can also depend on him for his loyalty.

Equipment & Abilities: Sockie's mightiest weapon is perhaps the oversized mallet he keeps in hammerspace--his Sock Hammer. (don't let the name fool you--it has very little to actually do with socks) This hammer is capable of flattening and smashing into the air some of the toughest foes. Sockie's severed right hand also been replaced with a hook capable of extending and detracting on a chain, making him capable of easily reaching long distances. As for abilities, Sockie has mastered the ancient art of the Sockonians' Sock Blast attack, allowing him to fire a vaguely sock-shaped energy blast from the palm of his hand. If Sockie channels enough energy into his, he is quite capable of incinerating whatever the blast strikes.

History: Becoming an orphan as an infant, Sockie and his brother, Sockaro, were both sent to the infamous Sockonian Institute For Very Special Children, where hundreds of orphans were trained to become the perfect soldiers, with one eventually taking leadership of Sockonian. Driven insane by the brutal teaching methods there, Sockie fled the institute and became a criminal that plagued Sockonian well into his adult life. Eventually captured and exiled from his home planet, Sockie wandered the universe, getting into many misadventures and making many friends and enemies. His brother, Sockaro, meanwhile, became king of Sockonia and plotted to turn all sentient life in the universe into Sockonians. Learning of this, Sockie and many others journeyed to Sockonia and did battle with Sockaro, eventually learning that he was being manipulated by the Sockonians' ancient enemies, the Shoe Demons, all along. When Sockaro was mortally wounded by the Shoe Demons' leader and Sockie's arch-enemy, Shu, he named Sockie king of Sockonia before passing on. Now Sockie honours his brother's memory by protecting the people of Sockonia and leading them as best as he can... of course, old habits die hard, and Sockie continues to go on many adventures.
