Hayden's eye seemed to twitch slightly when Kirby introduced him as 'Mr. Grumpy Pants'. "Who's the one that woke me up from my nap..." he grumbled to himself. He looked over as Kirby skipped over to him, smiling awkwardly as she pulled the corner of his lips up into a smile. He raised and eyebrow at her, waiting for her to removed her hands from his face. With a small sigh, he placed on a small smile and looked at Kirby. "I'm ready when you are," he said.
At the same time, Hayden took a look around, observing each of the other summons and their partners. It might take him a while to actually get use to these people, but none of them seemed too hard to get along with. Or at least that's what he wanted to believe.

Ifrit Sinzell

Ifrit scowled as he was lifted away from the angel. "Didint know one could -own- a angel." After Sunglow said he liked him Ifrit put both his hands towards him while staring at Jake. "See? He gets it! Gotta relax a little 'fore your back gives out from how straight it is." With another giggle Ifrit waved to Faye and Jake as they flew off.

After that little event Ifrit quickly turned around and ran to Arianas side with a grin as she asked why he was near Faye. "Jelouse? I promise you're my favorite 'Mistress'. I dont think her shining knight likes me very much tho." With another smile Ifrit hugged to Arianas side before looking around the group. "Aside from him tho everyone else seems -very- likable! Especially that fellow there...ummmm...I think his name is Sunstomper or Sunbeam or somethin'." Ifrit scratched at his hat for a moment before shrugging. "and lets see....Thats Grumpy pants and his angel Kirby. Over there is Amelia who is Suncannons angel....and those are the only names I remember."

With a final shrug Ifrit hugged to Arianas side tighter and sighed. "I'm terrible with names."

THe old chapel , filled with many a moving corpse , a few stone gaurdians and two very important people. Seryth who frankly made Tillys skin crawl every time he saw 'him' and Eva...who in Tillys mind was leagues more important then Seryth would ever be. What year was it now? How old had he become? Tilly had lost count , he stopped counting the moment his magics twisted him in to the being he is now.

A firmiliar creak was heard as one of the shadows in the chapel started to expand , it was Tillys way to announce his presence , if only so he wouldint have to put up with the akward moments of catching Seryth talking to 'him' self. As the shadow grew off the wall and expanded towards the centered table a white almost serpent like line apeared in the middle and soon a two dimensional hand was expanding upward out of what was normally a flat and uninteresting shadow. Soon after and just as quick the two dimensional form expanded to a rounded hand and sleeve before the rest of tilly was dragged up after it , hair , face , teeth , coat , legs , feet , shoes , and body form were all molded as he stood up. Currently six feet tall Tilly stared out at Seryth and Eva before giving off a trade marked grin that was so menacing in it's own way that it was almost inspiring.

"Good evening sir and madam." Tilly dragged his hand across the canvas of his empty face , giving it some shape before he looked over to the female Seryth and coughed in to his fist. "My apolagies Seryth , my eyes were not done forming." With that Tilly slid across the ground almost effortlessly , the non existant sounds of his body were eerie. The lack of foot falls , no breathing , not even a crick or pop of joints and when he finnaly found himself at Evas side he gave a deep a respectfull bow. "You look as stunning as ever Lady Eva." and with that Tilly looked to Seryth for a brief moment , if only to see if he was to be given orders or not.

Ariana smiled at Ifrit. He always knew how to make her smile. She looked around as he told her everyone's names. She could tell by the way Jake looked at him he was very protective of his angel. She let out a sigh when he squeezed her. She looked back at the crowd. "Well Hello everyone. My name is Ariana and this is my summon Ifrit. I'm sorry if he has offended anyone he is just my little social butterfly." She said rubbing his head. She turned back to Ifrit as she watched Jack fly away with Faye. "Ifrit my darling you have to remember that some summons are very protective of their angles, and some are not as playful as you." She smiled at him and looked over at the small pond next to the group. "Come on I have something I wasn't to show you." She ran over to the pond. She closed her eyes and her hand were playing with a small ball of fire. She then threw the ball into the pond. But the ball of fire did not burn out it just sunk to the bottom and continued to burn.

When they had landed back on ground, Faye opened her eyes and carefully listened to her summon while her index fingers tapped one another around holding her quarterstaff as she thought about his words. When he had finished voicing his concern, she looked up at him and smiled warmly. "I admit I myself.. am not really comfortable travelling with so many people I am unfamiliar with.." she said looking away recalling the nervousness she felt during the introductions.

"However.." she turned her head slowly to make eye contact once again.
"This is what the council decided.. that the angels are strongest united and if you ask me Jake.." she lifted one hand; the one wearing the stone ring to play with a ray of sunlight in their direction and watched it wrap around her fingers over and over again.
"I believe everything happens for a reason.. there's a reason we were chosen.. just like there's a reason I'm an angel..and you are my summon." she said with a clear smile on her face. She withdrew her hand from the ray of light as it shone on Jake. Faye walked towards him and reached out her hand to lightly reposition strands of his hair that had moved out of place from the wind.
"So it won't come to that Jake.. it won't be over for us. Maybe now it seems hard.." she pulled back her hand so it rested by her side. "But later.. maybe.. instead of increasing the hardness of your job.." she drifted in thought as her other hand kept a firm grip on her staff. "But maybe one day.. angels and summons will complement one another.. we'd complement one another as a team who had grown to know and understand one another." The corners of her mouth lifted to reveal another smile.
"But I really appreciate you looking out for me.. I really do" she said cheerfully tilting her head with closed eyes and wearing her usual smile. As a calming breeze passed, she reopened her eyes and brought her ring hand in front of her to make into a confident fist. "We can do this Jake."

Kirby Akane

Kirby looked at Hayden and laughed again. "Wow you really are the grumpy one aren't you?" She questioned backing away from him. resting her hands on her hips she turned around and followed his gaze to the group he was looking at. "They all seem pretty nice don't you think?" She asked with her back still turned to him. "Well I'm ready now so let's get this show on the road." She smiled at him before walking off towards the group. "Let's go guys, I think it's time to stop standing around and find us some Ancients."

She spoke to the group before walking off in the direction they all should be going in. "Let's go Hayden." She started to skip as if excited about killing someone. Really she wasn't in any kind of way, she just didn't want everyone else to standing there and being all depressed like they were just moments ago. She spun in a circle as she get skipping along. She started to hum trying to keep herself from thinking about fighting someone. Skipping still, she looked up at the sky and smiled at the sun starting to rise. She didn't realize just how early they all met there.

Jake looked in Faye's eyes while she talked. He couldn't read her mind but he could always tell her intention from them. She meant what she said and he knew that he wouldn't be able to deter her from her views. "If that is what you wish Faye. But please for the good of the mission stay away from Ifrit. He will be the death of this team I'm sure." He then picked her up and flew her back to the gathering of angels and summons. "Are we going to leave soon? Perhaps we should introduce ourselves and tell what gem we are? I can start. I am Jake Laurence, and I am the summon of the White Gem." He really didn't care much about who they were. He just wanted to know what everyone's powers would be.

Sunglow studied Jake for a minute. He seemed like someone who didn't screw around at all, which, for this journey, could be a blessing and a curse. He would probably prove a valuable ally, and a formidable fighter, but could make this journey a long one, as he didn't seem to have a great sense of humor. He also seemed to be extremely protective of his angel, which could be a hindrance, should she choose to fight. All in all, the man reminded Sunglow of one of his previous owners, a great warrior general from a far away nation. His overprotectiveness was, quite literally, the death of him.

"My name is Sunglow, and my angel is Amelia. I am the summoning of the yellow gem, which is TOTALLY my favorite color, next to purple, I love purple too. I once had a purple dog. He died though. Anyway, I specialize in healing, so if anyone gets hurt, I'm your man. Well actually I belong to Amelia, so I wouldn't really be your man, but, you can use me. I can also give your powers a boost, so you won't tire out as easily."

Ifrit Sinzell

Ifrit blinked as Ariana reminded him that perhaps the grumpy summon jake was just over protective. It was a fair assumption , even Ifrit had been like that long ago when he was a imposing demon of fire and heat of a summon instead of the more likable and colorfull one he was now. Still Jake annoyed Ifrit on alot of levels , he could tell they were going to get along about as well as ;for lack of a better term; like fire and ice.

When Ifrit was brought to the pond and watched the little fireball burn under water his eyes sparkled , following it all the way to the bottom of the pond before he held his own hands up and grinned. "My turn my turn my turn!" with in a second and with a deep breath Ifrit made a massive fire ball above himself , throwing it in to the center of the pond and blinking as the water quickly made it fizzle out and dead.

After a moment of akward silence Ifrit gave a huff and turned his back to the water "Ponds are -stupid-." this was probably where Ariana would always show Ifrit up. Ifrit had plenty of raw power on his side and a near endless supply of fire but Ariana had controle , something Ifrit clearly lacked. Giving a light grumble Ifrit walked back to the group and saluted as they were going through proper introductions. "Ifrit Sinzell! Red summom and protector of the lovely angel Ariana!" With that Ifrit grinned and pointed back towards Ariana proudly"ummmmm , I set things on fire....oh! and I am -really- strong!" .

Amelia Heart

Amelia watched quietly as the White summon took his angel and flew off. Well...Isn't he a lovely ball of sunshine. She thought to herself, rolling her eyes just a bit. Amelia really didn't want to be around someone who took their mission to the max and was constantly being overprotective. Sighing some, she shook her head to clear her thoughts, before hearing the White summons return, asking everyones name. She listened as Sunglow gave his introduction, giving him a small smile, before she turned to the Red summon, listening to him. A fire user...Well that explains his attitude. Ameila laughed softly to herself, before moving to stand at Sunglows side. "Well...I guess I'll give my introduction. Though Sunglow did clear up the name part, I'm Amelia Heart. My stone is the yellow tourmaline, and as you know Sunglow is my summon. I have control over lightening, and I'm pretty good with these." She then unsheathed her twin daggers, showing them to the others before slipping them back into their sheaths once more.

Arriving back to the group she felt a surrounding awkwardness and reflected on Jake's advice.
"But please for the good of the mission stay away from Ifrit. He will be the death of this team I'm sure."
Faye's eyes wandered around the ground until introductions proceeded.
Her eyes drifted to the face of the one who introduced himself as ‘Sunglow’. When he revealed his abilities, Faye was a little puzzled by his story.
He specialises in healing.. though his dog died despite it? she thought to herself staring up at the clouds though she remained attentive in hearing to the other introductions.
The next introduced, was the summon she was warned about.. ‘Ifrit’ who claimed to have strength and control of fire. Faye moved her head to the side to take a glance of Jake wondering if he was still uneasy. I sure hope not..
She turned herself to face the group as a fellow angel named ‘Amelia’ introduced herself to which Faye smiled a little and attempted to introduce herself. “I am.. uhm.. Faye… and..” she held out her hand to show the white opal stone ring. “And this is my gem… and..well” she withdrew her hand and started fiddling with the staff in her hand. “And well..” she looked down shyly. “And..well you already know Jake my summon..” she said.
