Back Story:
Born in a military base that was attacked soon after, explosions silenced his cries as an infant. One particular explosion resulted in the loss of his right arm, forever making life difficult. Due to extreme medical care, Brent survived and grew up determined not to let his disadvantage cripple him. As a teenager in high school, he entered the football team only to be gossiped about and made fun of. The coach saw a burning fire within Brent that no other ever had and recruited him as a safety. Biologically, Brent's single left arm grew naturally more powerful as the body's nutrients had only one arm to develop. Coupled with his desire to become stronger, Brent soon excelled in all areas important to testosterone filled boys, making the others seem puny. As his success soared, jealousy grew. One night, he found his girlfriend raped and left out in a cold dark alley, near a place they had agreed to meet at for a date. Struggling to fight back tears, she told him how the each one of the football team took a turn. Unfathomable rage consumed him and he destroyed the football team, quite literally. Never before in the whole history of high school football was a team completely replaced due to fatal and permanent disability, excluding Brent Parson, who was merely cut, bruised, and sore.
Due to lack of witnesses, Brent's good reputation, and his girlfriend's testimony of rape, the judge had sentenced Brent to a mere five years in hard prison time. Though the previous football team members were still alive, they were in no position to ever life a normal life again. Brent would be forced to pay for their medical bills for life. As he served his prison time, life moved on without him. His girlfriend eventually moved on, reluctantly, and Brent was alone again. Once he was out, he had no way of supporting himself due to all his finances being dispersed to the ex-football team and wandered the streets, until he woke up one morning with a letter, an invitation, to a new life. Brent accepted.
