Kat sighed sharply, putting hair back into the bun it was in. She kept her hair up, mostly to show off the mark on the back of her neck.
One curl fell from the bun, framing her face and lighting up her blue eyes. "Don't I feel loved." She said to herself softly, standing up to brush off her sea green tank-top and jeans. It was late spring, and the weather was warming up quickly. Today it wasn't so bad, but normally she would often just stay in the that room her and Alina shared because it was cooler in there.
Leaning forward, she savored the feeling of the wind caressing her ivory skin.
Even though she acted like the curse didn't bother her, it really did. She lost everything, and now was one of the most hated people around.
Of course, what she gained almost made up for what she lost. Mostly.
Putting her hand on her neck, she realized she was bleeding. Well, that just made this moment so much better.
"Great. Just Great." She growled, wiping the blood that was on her hand off on her jeans.

Alina stood up and wiped the dirt off her hands, putting her hands to her hips and studying the small garden. It was small and had been ripped apart many times, but here it was, still as lively as ever. Or maybe that's just what it wanted her think. She shrugged it off and went back inside the house to make some lunch for herself and maybe the others. She enjoyed helping out in any way she could offer.

She let her long raven hair loose and headed to the kitchen for a glass of water. She could never be thankfull enough for the boys that took her and the other girls in.She saw Alina in the kitchen "Mornin" she smiled a little.

"Have you seen the others?" she asked after a moment of silence. "I think Kata went out earlier." She inwardly frowned. Going out when it wasn't a school day was never the best of ideas when they were who they were. Alina worried some for Kata's condition. She hated this as much as the rest of them, but she supposed the girls' and boys' company was better for lifting her spirits than her brooding father's.

"Why are you looking so sad? Did something happen?" Kyle asked from behind, still pushing the swing. Momoko sighed, letting her hair sway.
"Yes, something happened and I ended up with this mark on my neck. Didn't you know?" she responded sarcastically and there was an awkward silence.
"I guess that was a dumb question. Alina and Ame are in the kitchen ,y'know." Kyle said.
Momoko ignore his comment. "How are you so carefree? Your life can't be that easy, right?"
"I learn to ignore the hardships. Lollipop?" he asked, taking one out of his pocket. He sighed when Momoko shook her head. "I'm gonna ask inside." And with that Kyle ran inside and asked the girls if they wanted a lollipop. When he looked outside, Momoko was halfway over the fence. She was going out to look for Kata. She saw some boys running in her direction and they pulled at her foot so she fell off the fence. She picked up a few rocks and flung them all at their heads, none missing, and sighed. "Clear off." she muttured as they ran off. "Cowards." Momoko looked at her ankle. It had swollen, but she stood up anyway and continued her search.

Within minutes she was drenched, and caught sight of Momoko. "Momo!" she called, running towards her.
Kat had never really even asked if she had liked nickname, bad it was a force of habbit.
When they were little, Kata had shortened her friend's name.
Taking her friends elbow, she quickly ran to the house, softly hissing at the sky.
After making it into the house, she crumpled against the door.the wound at the base of her neck was worse then she thought, but she tried to ignore it.
"Well, good morning. Can I have a towel?" She asked softly, letting her long hair down and shaking it out like a dog.
"UGH. I'm SO WET."

“Here!” he said, popping it in her mouth and sitting down at the table, eating his own. “What’s for breakfast?” Kyle asked, not even realising it was past lunch time now.
Sitting on her bed, Momoko sobbed quietly, reading and re-reading the book she was reading earlier. Happily ever afters don’t exist in the real world. she thought solemnly.

"For lunch," Alina corrected, "I've made us all open-faced sandwiches." She laid out the plates on the counter and looked around. "I'll go tell the others about lunch, so go ahead and dig in. If you want anything else, you know what to do." Assured that she was no longer needed, Alina left the kitchen to go searching for the others. She stopped outside the first room she came to and hesitated to knock. What if he was sleeping? She didn't want to disturb him... But, it was past noon, so she supposed it would be alright. "Damian? Would you like to join us for lunch?" she called through the door.

She then wrapped then towel around herself and shivered. "I'm s-sooo cold." Kat muttered as she walked up the stairs. After changed and drying her hair, she came downstairs with a smile.
She wore a blue shirt that matched her eyes/hair paired with jeans and white flats. "Ah, much better."
Without really realizing it, she touched the strangly blue birthmark on her cheekbone. It was shaped as a star, and on some days she loves, toher times she hated it.
Leaning on Kyle, she looked at the others. "Guys, I think they might actually be letting up. At least I didn't break anything this time."

"What's for lunch?" he asked walking out of his room. Speaking of lunch.. he was hungry. He had yesterday's dinner, and today's breakfast, so he hadnt eaten anything since then. To make things worse, his stomache have off a horrible growl. "Yikes..." he muttered with a small chuckle. Before his stomache can continue its complaining, Damian hurried down the stairs.

"I wonder if I should just give up on them," she said aloud, half-laughing, but it was more forced than anything with hardly any emotion in it. Still, she put on a small smile.
