[Power Name/Effect]: Crystal Shards: Jake is able to conjure up a magical crystilline substance out of thin air. This crystal can be fired from his fingertips as a projectile or used to encase himself and up to two other people to shield them from harm. However, there are drawbacks; if Jake uses a long-ranged projectile it will be smaller and less powerful than one used at a shorter range, and the crystal armour can only be sustained for about ten minutes before expiring. When this time limit is reached, the amount of power used will cause Jake to fall unconscious.
[Weapon]: The only weapon he carries is a kukri, which he uses mostly as a survival tool.
[Personality]: Jake prefers to see the world in a positive light, and he’ll do his best no matter how bad the situation may seem. He’s also very practical, a trait that has come from having to survive alone in numerous hostile environments, but because of this he can sometimes be apprehensive around complete strangers.
[Bio]: Jake started wandering the desert alone from the age of ten after his parents were killed by bandits. For some odd reason, gemstones kept appearing in his pockets, which disintergrated after a few hours. Selling the trick gems to people, he was able to buy himself some equipment, including an acoustic guitar that he takes with him everywhere he goes. Over the years he spent travelling across the world, Jake gradually learned how to control his power as he gained a good reputation, known by many travellers as the ‘Strummer of the Sands’. He was last seen in Merris about three days ago...
