Alarick Kostantine

The young pet was the jumpy type. He had no doubt that she had been abused by her previous master. Not that Alarick himself was against the tactic of using fear to control people or things, but sometimes he felt respect was a much better option.

However, with this certain pet, he doubted such a thing would ever be an option. Not that it matter, she wasn't his pet anyway. She was going to be Zane's, and Zane could do whatever he wished with her. So long as he understood the responsibility needed to own her.

Her shower was long, but it didn't particularly bother her given that his damned son was still not home. When she finally stepped out he eyed her with disinterest. He should have known the only female clothing in the home would belong to Zane's wide line of sluts over the years, but he was surprised she'd ended up somewhat modest despite the issue. He nodded to her finally, with a muttered 'very well', and lead her back to the living room where he sat her down on one of the plush couches.

Normally he would never allow a pet to sit on the furniture, but this was a special occasion.

Zane Kostantine

Zane nodded in agreement with what she said, it was only a simple meeting, but it was much more complicated than that. “The meeting was about Toxin,” he muttered, more to himself than anyone else. Chech was one of the few people who actually knew he'd been behind getting the illegal drink on the market.

“I probably should have gone just to see what they were thinking to try do against it. Insider intel and all. But daddy dearest wants me to be the young poster boy behind the movement.” His nose scrunched in distaste at the very idea. “He's trying to salvage my reputation. I think it's too far gone.”

He looked down at her for a moment as her ear twitched. For some reason the movement caught his attention. “Trust me, I can slip out,” he muttered. There was no way he was going to stay home. He rolled his eyes a bit at the new nickname for their friend though and looked up at the sky. He was cutting it close. His skin was already itching, complaining that the sun would be up soon.

He shook his head in slight amusement as she suddenly formed into a wolf, then turned down towards his home. “Time to face the music.”

Alarick Kostantine

“I'm home.”

Alarick frowned at the sound of his sons voice, always so blank and empty. Boredom radiated from it. He looked back at the young girl sitting on the couch. “Do not move.”

Then he took a step forward and looked on as Zane dropped his jacket on the coat rack by the front door. His eyes flickered momentarily to the large wolf at his side. Yeuk. He ignored her presence.

“Where were you tonight?”

Zane looked up at him for a moment, then his brow furrowed as he stepped to the side to get a good look at Feronia. “Who's this?”

He could hear her heartbeat, a little too fast. She was scared...or nervous...probably both...

Alarick folded his arms across his chest. “None of your concern yet. Where were you tonight?”

“Out,” Zane finally snapped.

Alarick's anger raised. “You know how important this meeting was for you, Zane! How can I help you repair the damage you've done if you won't even meet me half way!?”

“I don't want to repair it!” Zane yelled. It was very, very rare for him to ever lose his temper. But something about his father just naturally pissed him off.

Alarick straightened up, his eyes narrowed. “You don't have a choice, boy. I will cut you off. You will never touch my money.”

Zane had already turned around, grabbing the jacket he'd just recently put down. He laughed at the words that came out of Alarick's mouth and turned around with an amused smile. “It's not your money, father. It's grandfathers money. And I'm not sure he would agree with that statement.”

Alarick froze. Zane had a point, and he knew his son had won. Zane knew it too, there was a large smirk on his face. The elder Kostantine had a soft spot for the youngest. Zane was like the child the old man had never had a chance of being. Carefree. Fun loving. A trouble maker.

After a few beats of silence, Zane's smirk only grew as he threw his jacket over his shoulder again and reached for the door handle.

“Where are you going?”

Genesis'. “Out,” he replied once again and pulled the door open. He only got about two inches before it was suddenly slammed shut again. His father had moved at Vampire speed, holding the door with his hand.

“Take your pet with you.”

Zane gritted his teeth. Pet? That's who the human was. “I don't want a pet.”

“Too bad. Maybe she'll teach you something.”

His eyes narrowed and then flickered towards the window again. Nineteen minutes before sunrise. He shoved past his father, looked at the girl sitting on the couch, and said angrily. “Well get off your ass and come over here. You best hurry too.”

Normally, he would have been nicer. But he was on a tight time schedule. If the little bitch was slow he'd never make it to Gen's on time.

Feronia's heart raced and she jumped every time the men yelled. When the door slammed it took everything out of her not to stand. When Zane looked over at her for the last time her eyes settled on his frame. 'This is my new master....I hope I don't anger him.' was her thoughts before he yelled at her “Well get off your ass and come over here. You best hurry too.” Feronia, jumped up off the couch and hurried over to Zane's side being careful not to trip or break anything as she did it wasn't but a moment before she was beside him.

'I'll do my best.' she thought standing behind him. Feronia was going to put on a brave face or at least try to. She wanted her new master to like her. Feronia tried not to look at the floor but didn't want to look Zane in the eyes. So her gaze rested on his jacket. She'd follow him where ever he went and do what ever she could to make him like her. Even if her best would only make him tolerate her she was still going in the right direction and she wouldn't stop trying.

Chech Yeuk

Chech remained at Zane’s side, her ears perked forward and alert as his father approached. For now her tail remained in a rather neutral position, and she looked on with interest. She hardly cared as to being ignored, it allowed her much more freedom within his household if he did.

Her gaze shifted over to the girl sitting on the couches, her mouth parting with a huff of air before returning to normal breathing. This girl would definitely be a new play thing- or at least far enough to gain information and see her breaking points. Fear radiated off of her, as well as the subtle scents of soap and a certain… rawness to her. It lingered on her skin, and Chech’s eyes narrowed.

She most certainly wasn’t vampire, and her posture ruled out being a donor. A half grin made its way onto her features, and the pure blood relaxed to her haunches. It was interesting, considering that Mr. Kostantine never allowed the likes of pets in his house, or at least hasn’t owned one for as long as she had grown- somewhat- close to him.

Her attention returned to the heated conversation, and Chech couldn’t help but chuckle internally a bit. However, when his father asked where he was going, the girl’s ear swiveled at Zane’s remark. A small snarl rippled through her throat at the sound of the door slamming so loudly and so close to the boy’s hand.

“Take your pet with you.” At the Kos’s remark, Chech couldn’t help but let her tail swish against the floor in high amusement. Her ears swiveled back and forth between the two as the argument continued.

But as Zane agreed to it, Chech let out a loud bark of laughter. The pet, going to Ginny’s? What a joke. What would she even do there? No doubt she’d be harassed to high heaven. Oh, she’d definitely be coming along.

Once more the wolf rose from her position and stood readily at Zane’s side, head tilted down and mouth open as she stared up at the girl on the couch. Her fangs protruded from her parted lips, eagerly awaiting the trip to Ginny’s house. But the girl quickly rose and scurried close to him. A warning growl slipped past her lips, and her tail stiffened as well.

Zane looked down at the small teen for half moment, thanks to his telepathy he could hear her thoughts. She was trying, poor girl, and he appreciated that. At least she wouldn't slow him down. He looked up at his father one last time with a raised eyebrow. Finally, the older male backed off, and he ripped open the door, stepping outside.

He reached down to scratch Chech between her ears as his eyes shot towards the sky one last time. He was really pushing his time limit. He hadn't thought to expect there being a pet involved when he was timing things out.

He motioned for the girl to follow him, knowing that she would, then flagged down one of the limos. He would've rather taken a cab but...the limo's were tinted, and it was enough room to fit them all with breathing room.

He opened the door for the girls on his own just to prove to the driver that he was in a hurry, and followed after them, rattling off Genesis' address with strict orders to make it before sunrise. He sat back against the plush seats as he reached over to pet Chech once more. He couldn't help it...whenever she was in animal form he always had a tendency to want to love on her.

Well...that was interesting...He shared, using his gift because he really didn't want to talk out loud. His eyes swiveled over to settle on the human sitting in front of him. She was actually pretty cute in an odd way. Not quite his type given that...well, human wasn't his type.

They were in front of Genesis' large company building soon and it was really only then that he realized Chech was still with him. He groaned at that, but got out anyway because he was running out of time and his body was demanding he find some sunlight free shelter.

“You staying, or going?” he asked the wolf as he motioned for the damned pet to follow him. Such a burden...

He left the door open for her, giving her an option, she could either follow or take the limo wherever she pleased to go. As for him, he was backing up towards the building. The security knew who he was, and that he was allowed in, and just gave him a nod as he slid inside.

He knew it was a douchebag move, but he left the girls behind him, making his way down to Genesis'. The human wouldn't be hurt by sunlight, and Chech could very well take care of herself one way or another.

He knocked first, but he wasn't against letting himself in. Genesis was most likely asleep.

Feronia, paused when the guards stopped her she started to reach out for Zane's shirt tail but pulled her hand back. She didn't know this master well enough to know what he wanted her to do. Did he want her to wait outside for him? Did he want her to ask to go in? What was she supposed to do? "Ummmm." she muttered looking over the guards arms. "Are you with him mam?" one of the guards spoke up. "Yes, but I don't know...if I'm allowed." she whispered. The guards were slightly confused and decided to wait to ask Genesis. They would wait for a response and if they didn't get one soon they would assume she wasn't allowed in.

Feronia, nodded at their explanation and leaned up against the wall it wasn't uncommon for her to be left outside of places but this time she had no idea what to expect. She stood there waiting patently looking at her toes. She was wearing her white flats from before they were still slightly damp from her washing them.

Zane waited for about two beats of time before he realized that yeah, Gen was sleeping. No need to wake him up, especially since Zane could get in on his own. He turned around, but unsurprisingly the stupid little human wasn't with him.

He groaned as he slapped his hand on his face, then finally backtracked the way he'd come. It was late. He was tired. There was an extraordinarily comfortable bed in Genesis' room that he was more than ready to climb into and finally get some sleep. Gensis probably wouldn't be happy with him dragging her along but...what else could he do?

He went back to the front and snapped his fingers. "Hey you, whatever your name is, come on."

One of the guards looked down at him, they knew him pretty well by this point, and he just nodded dismissively. "Yeah, she's with me."

They let her come inside after that, and he grabbed her wist to drag her back down to Genesis' underground home. He opened the door silently, pulling her in then closing it behind them both.

"Look," he said, keeping his voice low. "It's late. I'm tired. In the morning we can deal with whatever situation we have going here. That couch behind you is the most comfortable damn thing you will ever lay on in your life. So go make yourself comfortable..." He was already stepping out of his shoes while he talked, not even looking at her.

He knew he was being a jerk but it'd been a hell of a long night. He looked up at her once he was barefoot. "And don't touch anything, okay? I mean, you can get up if you have to do something. Humans have needs and whatever. But just don't...mess with his crap. And be quite..." He stared at her for a moment, then the couch. "Want a blanket?"

Zane was actually a little surprised that she took a step towards him. She'd been so shy so far he hand't really expected her to look at him alone...much less bow...

He just nodded a little as he tossed his shoes and socks by the door, then crossed the room until he found a nice blanket that seemed warm enough. Genesis owned nice stuff, and the black fur blanket he handed to the new pet was definitely nice. It kind of bugged him that he could hear her thoughts on the edge of his own.

Mistreated. That was definitely a good word to describe her. If he had to stay her master, he didn't plan on treating her that terribly. It was just...humans tended to annoy him. If they weren't offering up blood he really didn't want to have to deal with them.

"There," he mumbled. "Sleep well."

Then he walked off, unbuttoning his shirt as he went, tossing it on some random piece of furniture...

Time to get some sleep...

Feronia was going to wish her master a good nights sleep but got slightly lost in the blanket when he tossed it to her. By the time she'd popped her head out of the black fur he was already down the hallway and he'd told her to be quiet. Feronia made it to were she'd touch nothing but the blanket and the jacket around the pillow and then laid down. She looked down the hallway and smiled. 'I think he's going to be a great master.' she thought to herself before closing her eyes and drifting to sleep.

Genesis

Genesis was sound asleep, blankets laid haphazardly around his middle and leaving his torso exposed to the cool room. It didn't bother him though, his bed and pillows were soft and he was extremely comfortable in his large king sized bed. He had no idea how long ago his conversation with Alarick took place and was out within seconds after the argument took place.

The vampire stirred quietly, sensing the slightest bit of change within his home. Genesis barely moved as the scent of others wafered to his nose, even through his bedroom door and the long hallway separating him from his visitors, he could still tell who was there. Zane of course was the obvious smell he caught, it was a given that the young pureblood would find his way to Genesis' after arguing with his father. What did surprise him though, were the two other scents that accompanied Zane's. Genesis rolled over onto his side, back to his door, in irritation at finding that Chech had apparently decided to use his home as a daytime hideaway, but there was another smell that unnerved him even more. There was a stranger in his home and Genesis did not like stranger.

His door barely made a sound as it opened, Zane seeming to be making his way through. The soft click of the door shutting once more and then the sound of shuffling feet against the carpeting in the room made Genesis smile. The bed dipped ever so slightly as Zane made his way onto it, moving his body as close to Genesis' as it could go before the younger man wrapped an arm around his middle. Genesis made a sound of contentment as he effortlessly turned in the loose grip to face the other male and burry his nose against his throat.

"I was wondering when you were going to show up." Genesis mumbled sleepily, kissing the junction between Zane's throat and shoulder in greeting. He curled himself around his bedmate, making himself as comfortable as possible.

Zane smiled slightly when he saw Genesis, appearing sound asleep, blankets over him in kind of a mess. Shirtless, obviously. They both slept shirtless. He ran a hand through his hair silently as he closed the door as quietly behind him as he could. He had to admit, he was really looking forward to crashing in that king sized bed...

He was across the room in moments, trying to be quiet as to not wake his friend but...that was almost an impossible task given vampire hearing. And he kind of figured Genesis had already stirred with the addition of Zane's own scent in his home. If not that, then the girls definitely would.

As usual, when he made his way on the bed, he moved close to Genesis. Everyone knew Zane had absolutely no personal boundaries, and it was even worse when Genesis was around. He sighed softly under his breath as he dropped his arm around Genesis' waist an had just closed his eyes when his friend made a noise.

He smiled to himself as he felt Genesis turn under his arm, and had just opened his eyes when the older male buried his nose against his throat. Yeah, he should have known he wouldn't have been sleeping still.

"I was running late," he muttered under his breath and was silent for a moment as Genesis made himself comfortable. He thought back to the girls he'd left in the livingroom and sighed slightly in frustration. "Please don't hate me for bringing company..." he mumbled the last in a low tone.

Chech he could probably deal with. It would irritate him, but in all honesty Zane had had no other option. They were fighting daylight, it was either let her in or watch her burn. Not that he would have done the latter at all. Besides, the girl could find her way in anywhere if she was determined.

His new pet, however, was a stranger...Genesis didn't like strangers...but again...he'd had no choice.

It was either bring her, or stay at home. One of those wasn't even an option that deserved to be thought about.

Genesis

"I was running late," Came the reply that Genesis was waiting for. He thought back to his earlier conversation with Zane's father. The older vampire could only guess as to what unpleasantness took place once the teen returned home. "Please don't hate me for brining company…" The pureblood trailed off in a whisper.

Genesis opened his eyes, pushing away from the warm body next to him and giving the teen a look. "It's fine…but I swear if I find fur all over my couch I'm going to shave every bit of hair off of her, no matter what form she's in." He threatened seriously before giving Zane a small smile. He kissed the other man on the lips in goodnight, before resuming his previous position with his neck placed against Zane's neck.

He let a few moments of silence carry by, one of his own arms thrown over Zane's side with his hand running up and down the younger man's back in a sooth gesture. "By the way," He mumbled tiredly, a yawn escaping him in his tired state. He could tell just by how he was feeling that the sun had already risen, the morning light must had to have been everywhere by then. "Who came with you and Chech?" Genesis was really ready for bed, a long uninterrupted sleep with Zane as his human pillow. It was pleasant to think about really.

Zane frowned ever so slightly when Genesis moved away from him. He was clingy when it came to contact and he knew it, but it was worse when he was tired. It took a lot of resistance not to grab the other male and pull him back. He cracked a smile at his threat though, knowing he wasn't joking, and just nodded.

Given Chech's new found nickname for the male he had a feeling that when the sun went down again things weren't going to be pretty. He sighed a bit tiredly when Genesis went right back where he had been before he moved and let his eyes fall closed as he relaxed. Silence was amazing. In that big, comfortable bed...and he probably liked Genesis against him a lot more than he would ever admit. He liked his touch more than he would ever admit too, especially the soft ones, like the way his hand was running down his back...

He growled at the mention of the pet in the other room and resisted the urge to reach over and grab a pillow to slam over his face. "Tell ya 'bout it tomorrow," he muttered.

Genesis

Genesis wasn't sure when his pleasant dreams turned into nightmares, but it happened nonetheless. The intense heat of fire, the screams of women and men alike, and the memories of a burning pain in-between of his shoulder blades. It was horrific, things he never wanted to live through again, even in his own mind.

He bolted up from his bed, Zane's arm slipping down to sit in his lap along with the crumpled blanket that had once covered Genesis' body. If the Changeling had been alive his body would have been covered in a cold sweat and his heart would have been racing. Despite being dead for centuries he could still vividly remember such reactions occurring once or twice. It was something he wouldn't forget.

Both of his pale hands lifted to his face, rubbing at his eyes and temples in a soothing gesture. It did little to nothing to help him feel any better, to help him forget about what he had seen in his dreams. Sitting there for a few more moments in silence, Genesis slowly looked over at his bedmate. For the moment the pureblood appeared to be asleep and Genesis brought one of his hands to gently caress the side of Zane's face. It wasn't long after though that the vampire gracefully crawled out of the confines of his large bed and headed into the adjacent private bathroom.

A large marble tub graced one of the corners of the room; some would say it was gaudy with its ebony color and bright silver fixtures. Genesis would say those people were just jealous that they didn't have one of their own. Regardless, he turned the knobs to the hottest temperature and let it fill. Steam soon filled the room and once the water level was high enough, Genesis disrobed and eased himself into the warm water and relaxed. He needed to do something to get rid of the tension in his muscles, being on edge so early in the evening was not good for any vampire.

Zane usually wasn't the type to dream, but this time he was. Perhaps it had been that he had been so tired to begin with that he really fell asleep for once. Or perhaps it was because of his telepathy, and without knowing it he was accessing the powers. Maybe, he was hearing the edges of Genesis' dream.

Heat. Screaming. Burning pain.

"Mom! Momma! What are you doing!?"

"Have you ever wondered what it looks like, Zanie?"

"What are you talking about?! Mama, come back!"

"The sunrise, Zanie. Have you ever wondered what it looks like?"

"Mooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaa!"

Vaguely, he knew Genesis had moved from his side, but he didn't quite understand it. Until he felt Genesis' touch, just a small caress on the side of his face, and the dream faded away.

It was the sound of running water that woke him, the feeling of warmth radiating from the small room in the corner. He stirred for a moment, rubbed his eyes, then opened them tiredly. Empty.

He moved over until he was laying in the middle of the bed, and his eyes fixed on the closed doorway.

"Leaving me alone already?"
He asked in a transferred thought, a sleepy smile on his face before he buried himself in the pillows.

Zane chuckled under his breath at Genesis' response as he burried himself more in the plush blankets. He'd always loved Genesis' bed, the large size of it, and the amazing comfort. He could almost go right back to sleep.

Most vampires rose with the moon, feeling no need to sleep while their body didn't demand it. Zane had always been slow to wake up. Or at least slow to drag himself out of the bed anyway.

"What virtue," he muttered with another chuckle once he was completely covered by pillows and blankets. He was too lazy to control his gift, and a couple of Genesis' thoughts were on the edges of his. He wasn't exactly paying attention but...sometimes he could get lost in them.

"You need to eat," he added as an afterthought, one of his own he just happened to project. He knew the thought in Genesis' mind, one of discomfort and burning. Zane himself had an unhealthy relationship with blood--he was very rarely actually hungry. Genesis on the other hand...

The thought slid from his mind as a fresh scent filled the room, and he moved the blankets he was covered in just enough to look at Genesis as he entered the room, greeting him with a boyish grin.

Covered by the messy fort of covers and pillows, with his hair all messed up, and that smile on his face, Zane always looked much younger. Waking up, he was at his most vulnerable. All his walls were down, all his thoughts, all his mischievous little plans.

Genesis was the only person to ever seen him like that. Save his deceased mother.

Genesis

"You know, you're lucky you're cute," Genesis said seriously as he sat himself down on the edge of the bed. "Otherwise I would have kicked you out of my bed by now." In the older vampire's mind, Zane was innocent and the younger man really was. He'd probably argue that observation, but really in comparison to someone much older (like Genesis or even his father) Zane was the closest thing to a child that Genesis had been around in a very long time. It was kind of refreshing, even despite the fact that the younger man could technically be considered something along the lines of a drug dealer.

Seeing Zane's face sparked a few memories of the teen's mother. She and Genesis had been close, before and after Zane's birth. Genesis quickly moved his mind away from the subject before childishly climbing up towards Zane and grabbing a pillow, crushing it over the younger man's face with a smirk. A few seconds past before he deemed the torture sufficient enough and brought the pillow back to its original place on the bed. "You know I would just love to absolutely corrupt you." He announced in his usual teasing tone.

He laid back down against the soft sheets. He lifted one of his hands to push back a few strands of his messy hair before covering his eyes with it. His body was still a bit warm from the bath. Genesis could tell by the way the sheets felt cool against the bare skin of his calfs. It was a nice feeling, refreshing even. "You love, any big plans for the night." Genesis could still feel the edge of his hunger but he could put off eating for a while longer just so he could relax and stay in bed with Zane. "Maybe going on some type of adventure with Chech while I go find a nice beefy guy to have some fun with?" The distance between them needed to increase a bit or Genesis was sure he'd wind up doing something he would regret later down the line, hence the mention of another man.

Zane chuckled softly at the mention of being cute and disappeared under the covers once more. "Would not have," he argued childishly, but he knew Genesis was a little serious about that. At least as far as he was concerend, Zane got away with a lot of things due to his looks.

Memories of his mother were on the edges of Genesis' thoughts, so Zane finally got off of his lazy ass and locked down his powers. Normally, he didn't mind talking or thinking about her, but he'd already suffered nightmares connected to her, he didn't want to prolong those feelings.

He was lost in his thoughts when a pillow crushed down on his face. "Oi! Gen get off!" He complained, squirming around to try and free himself. But thankfully Genesis took care of it for him, and he frowned angrily, but Genesis was back to his usual teasing. "Yeah well, I've always been one to willingly be corrupt," he muttered as he rolled over, letting his arm fall over the side of the bed as he did. Even away from him, he could feel the slight heat rolling off of Genesis' body. It wouldn't last long, but it was kind of nice.

He yawned tiredly before answering. "Yeah think I'm going to hit up that club that hybrid was talking about. I have products to move." He made a bit of a face at the mentioning of Chech. He actually wouldn't mind taking her along, but he hadn't really wanted to remember he'd brought the two females to Genesis' house either.

"Yeah," Zane said as he turned his head to the other side to look at Genesis. "And I'll find me some busty blonde. You scared off the last one."

He wasn't exactly sure where the bite in his voice had come from. Maybe he was honestly a little upset he didn't get that human the night before...maybe it was something else. Regardless, it wasn't something he wanted to spend time thinking about.

"Or a freshie..."

The last was a mumbled afterthought, but there was a small smirk on his face as he mentioned it. He loved freshies. Sex and blood, didn't get much better than that. Especially when they could both get some sort of high off of it.

Genesis

Genesis could hear the slight anger in Zane's voice. The younger man my have not known exactly why he felt how he did, but Genesis knew. Even when he had been alive, the changeling had possessed an uncanny intuition towards how others felt, especially when it concerned him. Genesis also felt a slight jealousy run through him at the prospect of Zane gaining a new partner for the night, but Genesis had no official claim on the younger man and just shook his head to help right him of the thoughts.

Loudly letting out a breath, Genesis hoped to relieve the tension in the room just a bit. Quickly and with as much grace as a vampire was allowed, Genesis rolled over onto of Zane, one leg on either side of the pureblood. A boyish and seemingly innocent smile pulled at his features as he placed his hands onto Zane's chest. "Well, it's been such a long time since I've participated in vigorous activities." He muttered absentmindedly, running a finger up and down the younger man's chest. "I could definitely blame a certain someone for that though, it would appear that he's always distracting me and vying for my attention." Genesis leaned his face in close to Zane's, their lips only a breath away.

At the last possible moment, Genesis pulled back and moved off the younger man. "It's too bad that I have to find someone else to satisfy me though." His grin turned to a smirk, his back to the other male as he re-secured the tie of his robe. Without another word he left the room, heading down the hall to the kitchen area.

Finally reaching the fridge, Genesis opened it to look over the numerous bags filled with blood. Picking out the particular type he found himself craving, Genesis poured the contents into a mug and stuck the cup into the nearby microwave for twenty-seconds. Cold blood wasn't the best tasting while hot was horrible too, but after years of trial and error attempts, Genesis had finally gotten the science of microwaved blood down to his liking.

With mug in hand, he turned to his right. The kitchen and living room were designed in an open concept so he was able to clearly see Chech over the counter that separated the two spaces. What he had not expected was to see a scantly clad young woman with bright lavender hair taking up space there. Instantly the vampire was filled with fury, his mug crushing beneath his grip. With his mug in pieces and parts of it buried into the skin of his hand, the warm blood oozed sloppily onto the ground at his feet to pool into a small puddle. "What…the hell is that?!" He screamed loudly, his eyes narrowing dangerously on the girl.

Zane was lost in his own thoughts for a moment at the idea of a young, busty, freshie. Of course, freshies were extremely hard to come by, but he had connections. He probably couldn't even find one exactly to his lacking but...after awhile sacrifices had to be made.

He thought over that for a moment, but then suddenly Genesis was on top of him. He narrowed his eyes slightly at the look of the elder male over him. Not that he actually cared but...

His eyes fell to his own chest for a moment as Genesis' hands rested against him, then back up to focus on that boyish grin. He cracked his own smile and shook his head. “I doubt that, Gen,” he muttered. Except that he really didn't, and for a moment thanks to the way Genesis touch felt against his bare touch, he forgot why. Right. He was an attention hog. Everyone knew that.

A smirk graced his lips as Genesis leaned in close to him, only one moment away from touching. "Well," he murmured softly. "I don't see you ever kicking me out of your bed..."

Then Genesis was gone. Always such a tease. He rolled his eyes as he watched Genesis get up to leave. "Yeah, yeah. Sorry I can't be everything."

Then he smiled to himself and cuddled back into the blankets, fully prepared to stay in bed for at least another half hour. He'd just closed his eyes when the faint smell of blood reached his nose, but he wasn't particularly hungry enough to care. He yawned, curled up, and was in the process of almost drifting when..."What…the hell is that?!"

His eyes popped open and he flew out of bed. Shit. He'd totally forgotten.

It took a mere second for him to get to Genesis, and he easily blocked the view of the human and check with his frame. "Um..." he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly and made a face at all the wasted blood.

He was really mad...

"First of all...remember when I asked you not to hate me for bringing company...and you said it was fine? Yeah...that would be what I told you I'd tell you about tomorrow. Or...well...tonight now..." He held both of his hands up in surrender and offered an attempt at a smile. "Sorry..."

Chech Yeuk

Chech’s eyes refocused on the girl, a good natured smirk slipping onto her lips. “Forget about me already?” She said in a rather familiar voice, hoping the human would be able to catch on quick enough. With a shrug, she walked contently back to the couch. A soft sigh escaped her lips and she leaned over the couch arm, her own arms crossed over each other as she peered down at the girl, a thoughtful expression on her face.

However, it was no surprise when Ginny’s scent began to get stronger- indicating that he was coming close to the room they were currently located at. She looked up with a bland expression at him, until she watched him open the fridge and her eyes widened fractionally. If she had ears at that moment they most definitely would have perked up at the thought of food. Blood wasn’t particularly her favorite, but she had to consume it every once in awhile. It was just one of the perks of being a shifter.

The spike of emotion quickly recaptured her attention, and a wry smile scribbled across her mouth, but when the mug shattered the smile somewhat shattered with it. She quickly swept over to him, slipping past the now-obstacle that was Zane and her right hand slipped past her sleeve to grab the boy’s own rather swiftly. She grinned mischievously and stole a quick lick at the blood dripping from one of his fingers. “Your sense of smell is getting crappy, Ginny~” She smirked with a coy look to her facials, dropping his hand and letting her hand slip back beneath the smooth fabric a bit.

“And what kind of blood is this?” Chicha asked as an afterthought, completely taking this situation nonchalantly. She stepped back, using Zane's body as a shield to protect herself from Gen attempting to hit her, and looked at him with an almost sullen look- a complete facade by any means. Her hands softly clutched Zane's arm, and she sniffed. "You should probably be getting a shirt on too, Zane. It's weird not seeing you at least somewhat covered up around here."

All too innocently, she traced her index finger from his chest down to his abdomen a small ways to indicate the area she was referring to. Chech then flashed him a cheerful smile, returning her hand back to his arm before shaking the appendage a little bit at Genesis- an action to replicate fending him off.
