It's either tennis shoes, nice sandals or flip flops, or boots. Colors vary, but her closet says that she prefers blues, greens, and white.

One of River's obvious strengths is her ability to manipulate and breathe in water. She is also good at handling animals and keeping calm when things get rough.

Personality:
River generally has a positive and friendly attitude. She likes to be around other people and often starts a conversation by asking them how their day went because she genuinely cares. Some people say that she is too nice. Since she hasn't been bothered by the things she does for other people, she doesn't think there really is a thing as being "too nice." It doesn't bother her much if anyone wants to criticize her. She has her own thoughts on things and nothing anyone can say will change that.
History:
River grew up in a middle-class Christian family, consisting of her mom, dad, and younger brother, Tyler (16). She spent her entire life in a nice house located in a nice neighborhood. Her parents encouraged he to try out different sports and find what she liked to do. Water had always called to her, so she gave swimming a try. That was when she discovered she could breathe underwater. She stayed under the water long enough at her first practice that her coach thought she was drowning. When they found that she was breathing perfectly fine, they simply stated that she has an amazing ability to hold her breathe underwater. This almost seemed favorable to the coach, but River's parents decided not to let her join the swim team. They sat down with her later that evening and explained that her father had this amazing ability to move water without touching it and that it had to be a family secret. She wasn't to show or tell Tyler about it either.
As a 12 year old, River knew she took after her father more. She looked like him and had the same basic personality as him, so it only made sense that she could move water like him. He would take her out on rainy days to show her how to use the ability she shared with him. Those days became the fondest memories River had. Years later, when she thought nothing more would come of her abilities, she received a letter in the mail...
