Mayce stood in the airlock with his men. Two were holding a hover dolley with a large black crate on it. Mayce continually flexing his hands into fists in anticipation. After 9 months.....he was finally back on Omega.

(continued from Omega downtown) Korlu took the recommended route to the docks. Specifically, the "Visitor wing" where all non-resident ships are supposed to dock. There he left the cart and package in plain sight, but out of the way of pedestrians, as instructed. It sat next to sealed luggage and produce crates. Before leaving the item untended, he pulled from his backpack a datapad. He scrolled through the email and ran through a mental checklist of specific requests to make sure he had done his job properly. Decidedly happy with his work, he left with the datapad under his arm. A moment later he paused, hearing a beep from his datapad indicating a new message. He checked his mail. Two new messages were in his inbox. One from the same stream of numbers, the other from his banker VI. His bank statement had been updated with the payment he was promised. With a little bonus even! The message from the client contained only the words “Thank you.” The timing meant he was being watched, but looking around, he saw only vagrants and the usual hustlers. Not a single soul out of the ordinary. Out of all of the shady jobs Korlu had done in his life, this was certainly the strangest.
Hours passed. The package remained unchanged at the visitor docks, inconspicuous to most. One Vorcha squatter was did peek under the tarp, looking for something to eat or trade. He ran away screeching. This caught the attention of a patrolling Turian man in armor, obviously part of one of the local enforcement groups. He approached the package that the Vorcha now fled and peeled back the tarp. He wasn’t sure what he was looking at, but a strange feeling came over him. He put the tarp back down. A feeling like he was forgetting something important. It was hard to focus. The only thought he could grasp was the texture of smooth plastic. He decided to go back to Afterlife and sit a while and let his head stop spinning.

Kozz got his ass handed to him in his last fight, figuratively and literally limping, he figured that the best place he could get parts cheap, even 'free' was Omega because of the lack of laws. Pulling into the visitor's bay, he got his side-arm, and SMG, clipped them to his belt and made his way out of the ship, it was a long time since he was here last, and hoped that he wouldn't have to make frequent returns here. He ran a scan of what races were where, he could make some good deals with some races that others might start shooting at him for trying. The scans showed typical numbers but he ran it once or twice more to make sure that the Quarian reading wasn't a glitch, satisfied it wasn't and safe in the knowledge that a second Quarian on the ship would be good for both him and the ship, especially one who knew how to make the thing do more than fly on the axis, which would allow him to focus on shooting.

Arriving at Omega, Seni docked his ship, a small C-sec brand vehicle, small but fast. jumping out and inconspicuously walking towards Afterlife, he considered how long it would take to climb the walls, rushing about ten minutes, hopefully quick enough for no one to notice.

(cont from last post)

Waiting till Seni’s corpse was dumped by Aria's thugs, Curator finally took over and was hit with the smell of dying flesh. A minor inconvenience, by luck Curator was near the docks, this one would need to leave and change the facial pattern of Seni to avoid suspicion by parties such as C-sec, nearly missing it Curator noticed the package sitting near the ships, saving progress from the Omni tools last function this one scanned the unusual package, nothing, but to be certain this one checked under the tarp, quickly detecting a need to look away Curator forced Seni’s eyes to look upon it , activating biotic implanted eyes, that Seni didn’t even realise he had, Curator knew what it was and ran activation programs.

All in all, the package thought for two, maybe 3 seconds. Right before it stood up.

it stood an average Quarian height. It's head, or what passed as one unfurled last of all the limbs from the huddled position it had maintained for the last ten hours. Once standing fully erect, a bright light shot from where the face might have been. Four words escaped from unseen lips, in 3 different languages.

inspiration for this

A bout of rare anxiousness fell over Curator as he heard the geth speak in three languages, that meant the geth was too intelligent to be heretic or the geth would have only spoken in binary

Holding back the want to speak in binary, which would sound like gurgles from Seni’s mouth, Curator gave a quick “Th- I am Ines” a quick reversal of Seni, it was hard to fight back the almost ingrained instinct to give his true name, reapers rarely had reason to lie. Coming up with some truths and lies to make sure the Geth didn’t notice the false story he would now craft, Curator hoped the geth would not notice the bullet wound at the back of this ones head, that would be problematic to explain.

“ I have been investigating paranormal activities in the galaxy, and came here after finding out of the numerous activities going on” Seni now Ines’s mouth quickly said before continuing with “my biotic implants noticed the signals from the Tarp and I had to find out what it was, I know that most find Geth to be dangerous, but I bet there’s more to the story than you guys just suddenly joining with So-Saren, am I right” excitedly spoke Ines as Curator held back his disgust at acting like a child, yet Curator knew what would happen if the Geth wised up and destroyed this ones body, it would take years to find another suitable host. “So what’s your name” ended Ines.

The Geth are not so easily fooled. This amalgam was undeniably a synthetic. Infrared scans revealed no multicellular organic activity. No respiration, no pulse, but mechanical parts and synthetic musculature explained the body's animation. The inorganic muscles below the surface resembled the electro-fiber muscles found in Geth "hopper" platforms, but small and incomplete. Actually, it looked as though the muscles may still be... Growing? Minute thermal activity indicating that the cells were still alive, but not for long. Whatever flesh sleeve this presence once wore recently died. Why was it wearing a flesh sleeve in the first place? It clearly could function without it. Could this be part of a new synthetic life-cycle? Inspiring. A new robotic body inside a decaying larval cocoon? Unlikely. Blood on the floor. The organic component was damaged, likely not by choice.

Now conceding to the interlopers chosen form of communication, though still lacking proper pause between words and phrases - "WeareGeth.Youareamachine.Specifyoriginandintent"

Dropping the nice act, a scowl of annoyance spread through the hosts face as he pondered the next move, from what this one could tell Curator would have to give the truth up. Pulling the Phlanx from its holster Curator held the gun straight into the geths monitor and finally told it "This one was Seni, I am Curator and you shall cease your questioning and get into the vehicle" This one finished pointing towards the C-sec ship and calculating what this one would do if the platform before Senis corpse decided to fight instead of follow orders. This geth could be useful, some time near an artifact and he may be able to make it go heretic, from there he could have it infect the whole network, finally giving the Reapers complete control over the Geth. quickly formulating a plan of action, Curator prepared a message to Harbinger for Collector aid, as the destruction of this trained body would be most unsatisfactory, it would take time to find a new body and The Arrival would be here before that point, this ones plans would be more workable if this one was here to monitor the defenses. Curator now awaited the geth's action, knowing his preparations should be enough for any problem that may occur.

The Geth can react faster than biologicals. They can beat any squishy biped race to the draw. This, however, is a very different case. A machine opponent is a worthy one indeed. At this range, Kinetic barriers would amount to a thin, fragile eggshell of protection. After running a quick simulation, the answer was clear.

Checkmate.

Subject was redesignated as CURATOR and reclassified as PASSIVELY HOSTILE. It showed no desire of exposing these Geth to the biological population. There was no obvious reason to object it's requests and at least one very good reason not to. Please note the gun. Other possible reasons included departure from Omega and direct interaction with non-Geth race(s).

A one-word response was offered:
"Compliance."

Useful, knowing that geth do not infiltrate, Curator cancelled the aid request and quickly directed the Geth to this ones Vehicle. For a moment Curator was unsure of this ones abilitys at driving, due to the fact that this one hadn't used these types of vehicles for some time, however this one quickly reached a conesus on how it worked and motioned for the Geth to enter. And so a mostly silent drive back to Seni's apartment begun.
