Image Personality

Troubled, reckless and a waste of air...at least that's what they say. Having been in an ongoing police investigation (2 years) definitely has it's effects especially on public image. Tyler hates the police and will do anything to make their lives hell. He loves to party, flip off whomever and just go plain wild all for the sake of reputation. He knows the town looks down upon his family but he doesn't care in the slightest. He doesn't care what anyone thinks of him, he is cocky, sarcastic and obnoxious.

Ty loves to drink, do drugs and just have a good time. Forgetting the real world is key. He wastes his days away playing video games and smoking up. He loves to chill with a group of close friends who don't judge him -not to his face at least- and just escape.

For those who give him the time of day, he is a chatterbox. He is extremely enthusiastic about his old school video games, science facts and parties.

He always has a grin on his face, despite what he’s been through Tyler is perceived as a positive individual, nothing seems to bring him down.

When he’s alone, Tyler likes to just space out, think about deep concepts and daydream. His head is always spinning with much negativity hence why he drinks to forget, talks nonstop and smokes up as much as he can.

Secrets

The biggest secret is…what the hell happened? Tyler has been involved in an ongoing investigation and everyone has been speculating for years. No one truly knows the reason but most suspect it has to do with drugs.
Tyler deals drugs for income since no one would hire him for being involved in an investigation.
Tyler has never been in love but says those magically words so that women will sleep with him.

Image History

Tyler had a fun childhood. His family held a solid reputation, always hosted lovely parties and contributed large sums into developing the town.

He had many friends who would come over almost every day after school and play all sorts of games.

He was happy child with so much to look forward. His future in the family business was set, he would inherit part of the company once he was old enough. Girls loved him. Guys wanted to befriend him. Life was paradise.

But then at the age of 16…one 9-1-1 phone call and everything changed. Suddenly Tyler’s life was flipped. His family lost almost all their funds having to declare bankruptcy. Friends stopped coming around. Rumors began to spread. Girls turned away. And life had become dark.

For two years Tyler tried to rebuild his reputation but things were not going smoothly. He turned to drugs and alcohol to rid of his misery.

Respect among his peers resurfaced when he started throwing the “best” parties. His life at school got better but the police lingered constantly. Life would never be the same.

So begins...

Ellie's mind began to race with negativity. She looked frail and broken. She could see the exhaustion in her eyes and sense the lack of nutrition in her body. Her phone vibrated announcing an incoming text from Alby but Ellie ignored it. She turned on the tap and placed her hands beneath the flowing water creating a small pool in her cupped hands. She splashes the cool liquid onto her face and took small breaths in effort to calm herself down.

She turned off the tap and watched her reflection as the beads of water dripped down her face. She wanted to yell, she felt as though she was losing her mind. In that moment thoughts of the last two weeks flooded in. The cops, her parents and then that night. Not only had a boy died but she did something with someone she mildly repulsed. Mind you it wasn't all bad, she did enjoy her one night stand but felt guilty by it.

She had been avoiding Beatrice for numerous reasons but of course the biggest one was the secrets of that night. Ellie lied, she lied to everybody and she could feel these lies were about to catch up to her.

Ellie pulled out a small cloth from her bag and tapped her face dry. She took out some neutral colored lipstick and began applying it when Beatrice walked in. She gazed at her briefly before resuming focus on applying her makeup. "Hi Beatrice" she greeted flatly. "Yes I'm enjoying the gala, it's as lovely as last years. A little under dressed aren't we" she noted glancing at Bea's reflection in the mirror.

Tyler had finally stopped singing when he heard a small hush from the crowd. He ignored the prying eyes and wandered over to the buffet table which looked like a grand feast. "Let us dine" he shouted. People at the gala began to whisper but Tyler didn't care to notice.

He grabbed some fruit and began dipping it in the chocolate fountain, for a moment he could see reality but it quickly shifted back to his superficial world. The chocolate flowing down the fountain intrigued Tyler as it appeared to be a substance he had never seen before. He stuck his hand into the chocolate and mumbled "What is the purpose of such a liquid?"

Suddenly, the chocolate began to cover Tyler's arm. To him it seemed like the liquid was crawling on him, attacking him but in reality he was just leaning more and more into it. He stared at it with wide eyes ready to scream until someone tapped on his shoulder. Tyler glanced back to see his mother with a concern look on her face "Tyler, what are you doing?"

Tyler glanced back at the fountain and then back at his mom "Mom. I think it wants to eat me" he whispered. "Hunny" she said calmly "Go to the bathroom and wash up, I'll get you a new coat jacket. Now, stop making a fool of yourself."
Tyler absentmindedly nodded and made his way back to the bathroom trying to shake off the melted chocolate.

Ellie listened to Bea closely as she spoke. She could hear her heart pound louder and louder as she brought up mention of the party. Her maneuvers began to slow down without her realizing it and then Bea said it. She brought up the dress and Ellie's go to nude lip stick and the girl...the ooh so mysterious girl she slept with that night. Ellie dropped her gaze from her own reflection and began examining her lipstick cautiously. It was the same one she wore that night, she knew exactly what blue dress Bea was talking about too, in fact she remembered almost everything that had happened. But why was Bea prying so much? Why did it matter?

Ellie placed the cap back on her lipstick and put it gently in her clutch. She fixed her already perfect hair before turning away from the mirror and locking eyes with the girl she claimed to despise. "Honestly Bea I think you need to just drop it. The investigation is exhausting but clearly you have nothing to hide. Trust me you'd remember it if you murdered someone. It doesn't matter how drunk or fucked up you are, murder is murder and that will haunt you until the end unless you're actually a psychopath which in reality that wouldn't surprise me. Look just drop the subject and don't speak until speak to. The more you bring this whole thing up the more suspicious you seem and frankly you're making me uncomfortable."

She glanced over at the mirror one more time to check herself out before walking over to the door. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'd like to go enjoy the party." She wrapped her hand around the bathroom knob and pulled but the door wouldn't budge. She tugged on it again and squirmed a little...it was locked. Ellie took a couple steps back and glanced over at Bea awkwardly "The fuck? Did you do this?" she snapped.

Tyler's second trip to the bathroom was brief. His dad showed up with a fresh new shirt and jacket and told Tyler to clean up his act with a threat to deport him if he didn't do so. The moment his dad stormed out, Tyler's fairy tale world seemed to grow dark. The sinks in the bathroom began to look as though they were melting. Three different versions of himself stood in the mirrors laughing and muttering dark thoughts. The room was spinning and everything felt wobbly.

Tyler fell against the bathroom door and struggled opening it because he couldn't grab hold of the knob. It looked as though the knob was dancing on the door and dodging his grasp.

When he finally got out, the once beautiful and luxurious gala had turned into a fun house. The once breathtaking gold castle he saw was now an Alice in wonderland themed room with people dressed in all sorts of get ups. Some were fun but some were downright creepy.

He held up his guard as he wandered cautiously to the center of the gala where the grand chandelier hung. It was the only thing that had remained beautiful and it's sparkly diamonds called Tyler near. When he stood beneath it he began to whisper wishes for his return to a better world but at that moment the beautiful master piece began to melt with lava dripping from the light bulbs. Tyler began to scream and started running in a circle until he slammed into Alby, tackling him to the ground. Tyler propped up on his elbow's, his face only inches from Alby "Sorry man" he said before bouncing back to his feet. He could see realty for a brief moment, everyone in the room was staring at him. Tyler ignored their stares and refocused on helping Alby up. He stretched out his hand but quickly retracted it when Alby transformed into a demon like vampire, threatening to suck out his soul.

Tyler stumbled back a few steps and began running around frantically. Everyone was demonized, everyone was trying to kill him. The walls were slanted, some appeared to be breathing and pictures were mocking him. He wandered over to a nearby window to get some fresh air when a curtain wrapped itself around Tyler and began to choke him. In actuality it was him who wrapped himself in the curtain and people from the gala were trying to set him free. One cop was even trying to pull Tyler out and calm him down but once Tyler broke free he emerged into a sprint. Not seeing where was going, everything was dark. Suddenly he ran into someone again and fell on his back. He shook his head to regain full consciousness and glanced up at the beast before him. Tentacles grew from his legs, it's skin was green and it's eyes onyx. He could feel one of the tentacles wrapping itself around his neck. Tyler bit it's grasp and got back to his feet and wrapped his hand around the beast' neck ready to kill him.

There was no way in hell Sam was ever getting into Heaven. The amount of times he took the Lord's name in vain as he explored the dark corridors would have been enough to ensure that he never got anyway near, besides all the lying and being gay and not respecting his parents and underage drinking and so on. He had considered texting or calling Alby, but there was no guarantee that he would hear his phone, or that he'd even read it when he saw that it was Sam.

Out of nowhere, something or someone slammed into him, knocking his phone out of his hand. The phone, of course, landed with the screen facing the floor, meaning that the hall was pitch black. Sam was about to apologise, or even just check if they were okay- when suddenly, something wrapped around his neck and squeezed.

He'd been breathless before- but now, he genuinely couldn't breathe. His hands clutched at the person's arm and hands, but to no avail. They were strong, and the lack of oxygen was already starting to affect him. He started clawing at their hand, but there was still no result. He was going to die. He was going to die without ever having apologised to Alby and he was definitely going straight to hell and he was going to die like this-

In his panic, he started kicking and stamping, just hoping for a release. If it hadn't been for his inability to breathe, he would have been glad when he found something solid to stamp on- but instead, he was focused on getting what little air he could.

Alby was a good actor. Well versed in playing the role of Perfectly Okay. So he walked out of that closet with his chin up and shoulders squared, a light easy smile on his face as he made his way through the collection of people. He was fine. Everything was fine. He just needed some fresh air for a moment.

His eyes were locked on the doorway when a literal scream broke his attention, and his head snapped around just in time to get a five second warning before he was suddenly on the ground. It hurt, his elbow protested a bit, and his head snapped against the ground behind him, but he'd definitely taken worse tumbles in his few years.

When he opened his eyes, he somehow wasn't surprised to find Tyler Kingsley staring back at him, pupils blown wide, honestly looked a little scared. The other teen bounced to his feet, offered a hand, and Alby had no longer raised his eyebrows than Tyler was suddenly retracting his offer. Scratch scared, Alby thought. Tyler looked terrified.

Alby propped himself up as he watched Tyler stumble, and then the guy was gone, breaking the crowd that had gathered around them as he took off running. Fuck, what the hell was Ty on? Normally Alby would try to do some damage control, but this time...he couldn't offer any help. Tyler was making too much of a skeptical, and already some frantic teachers and cops had taken off after him.

Wait, cops? When did that happen?

Alby's brown knit together, and then there was another hand being offered to him. Alby didn't recognize the man, but he took it anyway, dusting his pants off and grateful he hadn't had a glass in his hand. He gave a nod of thanks and dunked away from the crowd himself. Let them mumble when he couldn't hear them.

He was going to continue his mission outside, but then he noticed the officers guarding the door. Fantastic. They were locked in.

At that moment, he had the beast. With just one more squeeze he could do it, he could kill the giant monster that threatened his well being. He could feel him squirm, his tentacles were frozen, unable to react. But suddenly, something grabbed him by the arm, it was a new monster, a demonic beast with massive wings, sharp teeth and fiery red eyes. The monster peeled Tyler's grasped and whispered "His death is not your doing, let go."

Tyler's grasp weakened, the new demon appeared more threatening, he wanted to attack him instead but before he could do anything the demon bounced on him and pinned him down. The fuck are you on? he heard the beast say. Tyler squirmed, trying to grab anything near by to knock him out, he was about to scream but the beast covered his mouth Spray him the beast shouted and suddenly a litre of water was poured on his head.

The visions faded quickly as the water sobered him up. He sat up and glanced around, his parents were kneeling over him "We need to get you out of here."
Tyler glanced over his parents shoulders and saw a body lying nearly lifeless on the ground. His eyes widened in horror. He shook his head, visions pulsing here or there but his high was coming to an end.
Tyler got to his feet and shook his damped hair. His mom hooked arms with him on his left side and they began making their way to the door when they noticed two officers blocking the way. An investigation is happening, someone else was hurt earlier. Lets get you dried up so you don't look anymore suspicious. We'll just tell the press you were off your meds earlier...it's all we can do now. Tyler's mother mumbled and handed him over to his father so he could escort him to the men's room once more.

It wasn't working. Whoever the hell it was just wasn't letting go, and he still couldn't breathe. He'd gone past light-headed and was almost sure that he was going to die. Even though all he could see was black due to the power outage, he was still getting these strange dots in his vision. Then, out of nowhere, their grip suddenly weakened. It was definitely still impeding his breathing, but not as bad as it has been. He gasped in a deep breath, but was still pretty sure that it wasn't going to be enough. He tried to yell out for help, but his voice was little more than a rasp. Then, suddenly, the grip was gone.

Sam was vaguely aware of himself hitting the ground, even as he gasped for air. But it didn't seem to be enough- he could feel himself slipping out of consciousness. It had probably only been the panic keeping him conscious for as long as he had been. It still felt like somebody's hand was around his throat, and it wasn't getting any better. Seconds before he finally passed out, the lights flickered back on in the hall.

"What are you on Ty? Are you crazy doing drugs in public, you could have-"
"Dad it's fine, I'm sober now don't worry about it..."
"Don't worry about it? Son we're at a public event, what the fuck did you take? How could you do this, the cops have been over at our place three times in the last two days. You really think this will make things better? We're almost out of money fighting for you Ty, and honestly I don't know why we're bothering anymore...here. This wipe your face, dry off and come back to the party. We have to endure this place until the cops let us go, try not to make a scene again...

Tyler's dad stormed out of the washroom whilst cursing furiously under his breath. "Jackass" Tyler mumbled. He stared at his ghost like face in the mirror, he was tired that was clear. He bowed his head at his reflection whilst thoughts of that last couple minutes flooded his brain. His whole body began to vibrate uncontrollably, he wanted to punch something and yet not because he was angry...

There was another emotion taking over, something Tyler was very familiar with. Dark thoughts flooded his brain, he had a longing and yearning...he needed to...he wanted to...

Tyler took a breath, he looked back at his reflection, the darkness in his eyes began to faded. He smiled weakly and recomposed himself for the fourth time making himself look semi presentable.

He walked out to the party, a couple individuals glanced at him but they averted their stares quickly. He spotted Scarlet staring worriedly at a scene and made his way next to her to see what all the fuss was about. "The fuck...why are they arresting Declan?" he questioned with slight panic in his voice.

Beatrice didn't look at her again. "Ellie, you're the worst of them because you're even lying to yourself," She sighed. "I might be the most hated girl in this town but at least I say what I think and at least I am who I am," She said it dismissively and didn't wish to hear Ellie's response she just wanted her to go and leave her alone. So she could stop pretending she wasn't lusting after something that would end up killing her, stop squirming under the pressure of trying not to itch her arm and stop looking in Ellie's eyes and seeing a reflection of how tragic, empty and broken she really was.

She sighed heavily, she'd known she was a fool to even ask but in this town of fake somebodies who were all no bodies, Ellie was the worst and as soon as Ellie walked out the door and her pretty face wasn't there to remind Bea of the person behind the words she instantly wished she could hate her, god if Ellie wasn't so...so...if Ellie just wasn't herself, it'd be as easy as it was to hate Scarlet but no, Ellie had to be an individual even if that individual was a bitch. She didn't return her smile, she didn't even look at her because she felt like an idiot. She was still sat on the bathroom tiles ten minutes after Ellie left, she didn't want to move. She wanted the floor to swallow her so she could stop disappointing everyone, her parents, Ellie, Alby, herself. She wished she wasn't bisexual, arrogant, selfish and short tempered. She wished she was kind, loving and academic but the reality was, she never would be and she couldn't change the things that made her no matter how hard she wished.

She decided she was going home and she stepped out of the bathroom and started for the door but too busy staring at her feet when she got to the door she went flat into a police officer and was knocked off her feet. The police officer remained steady but Bea was looking up at her between the mop of hair that had fallen into her eyes.

"You alright kid? Sorry but you can't leave yet. We're on lockdown,"

Beatrice blinked and started climbing to her feet slowly.

"What? Why?

"There was an attack-"

Bea was quick to interrupt her at this point because she was suddenly overwhelmed by panic. "Attack on who? Alby? Sam? Are they okay, fuck where's Tyle-"

"Mam, your friends are inside. You should go join them and watch where you're going kid,"

With a blank expression, Beatrice turned around and walked back into the hall but when she did she discovered all the commotion and Alby kneeling over Sam who as unconscious on the floor. Wide eyed with fright, Beatrice flocked to Alby's side but was respectful of their space.

"Alby, what happened? Are you okay? He's breathing, he'll be okay but shit dude- was it Sam who got attacked? Is that why we're on lockdown?" She asked softly, sympathy edging her tone of voice as she looked down at her friend who laid unconscious. Admittedly she was hardly as close to Sam as she was Alby but she still got on the guy and hung out with him a lot and of course with that came for the fact she sincerely cared for him but here he was passed out on the floor and there was little she could do about it. "Should we move him onto one of the sofas? I can't imagine this floor will be great for him," She managed to keep herself very calm but that was only because she recognised Alby would need her to act in such a way.

"So let me get this straight...this is the third time in the past three months?"

Ellie nodded, she felt frustrated and confused...she wanted answers "It just keeps happening you know? I think I've made $30,000 all together. The worst part is I don't know who the benefactor is or what I'm doing that's so...right..."

Tyler scratched his head and placed his mug filled with dark roast on the chestnut coffee table. They sat in Ellie's dim lit living room, the surroundings almost haunting with pictures of her sister on nearly every wall. The only sound heard aside from their own voices was the ticking of an old grandfather clock sitting on the center of a shelf above the stone fireplace. The windows were sealed shut and had been for weeks now, one of the bulbs in the chandelier was burnt out and all the surfaces were covered in a light coat of dust.

After the gala, Ellie's parents took a much needed stress relief vacation, they left out of the blue and gave no notice for when they would return. During their absence Ellie had spent her days cooped in her large house only leaving when absolutely necessary, basically only for school and sports. On the brighter side over the last two weeks she had gained a few pounds. Her talk with Bea and Sam's unfortunate event gave her a realization that she needed to start taking care of herself. Although nutrition was present and she appeared healthier, she spent most of her nights laying on the bathroom floor crying and throwing up.

As for Tyler, since the gala he was on even closer watch. His outburst attracted plenty of media attention but luckily for him the arrests appeared to be more interesting. He'd been interviewed by the police almost everyday, questions were becoming redundant, the interrogations were useless and Tyler had become annoyed. On his down time away from school and the interviews he'd spent most of his time at Ellie's. They had become even closer friends since the gala since Isabella had become MIA and Ellie was avoiding everyone.

"I've tried on numerous occasions to return the money, I've paid a bank teller to watch my account and see if any signs or clues would pop up but nothing...Ty, if the cops catch wind of this they may think I've had something to do with the murders."

Tyler twirled his thumbs whilst pondering what to say, when he couldn't think of anything he pulled out a blunt from his jean pocket and smiled "Let's forget about our worries?"

Ellie chuckled as Tyler lit up the joint and passed it over. The duo weezed at the burning sensation in their throats and the energy in the room became relaxed. "I miss Bea, I keep wanting to message her but...I just can't"
Tyler took one last hit of the joint, coughed a little and nodded "You know El, why don't you just do it? Clearly you like this girl so give her a shout. I don't think staying in this house is doing much good. I mean sooner or later these walls and that goddam clock that crows every hour is bound to drive you insane."
"I suppose you're right, I should call up Sam too"
"Yup, sounds like you have much to do. Anyways I'm going to take off!"
"So soon? You've been hear like twenty minutes"
"Yea well...you have a lot to do. See yea El" he said getting to his feet and making his way out without another word.

Ellie stared at the empty space next to her in confusion, Tyler had been acting weird that was obvious but considering he was her only friend right now she thought it best not to question him. Ellie grabbed her phone that sat on the coffee table and sent Bea and Sam a text.

To: Sam & Bea
Message: Hey, can we meet? I think we need to talk

She placed her phone on her lap and sunk down on the couch. She closed her eyes and focused on her breathing, the last couple weeks had been...lonesome.

Tyler wandered about the streets after he left Ellie's home. He stared at his feet and kicked a rock whilst thinking about the last couple weeks and the night of the gala. There was a huge hole in his memory, his hands had scratches on them for reasons he could not remember and people avoid him even more than usual. The last thing he remembered was talking to Scarlet about Declan's arrest, after that his parents dragged him out and took him home.

Tyler paused outside the usual coffee shop where Alby worked. He stared through the window curiously, the place seemed lifeless without the upbeat barista and yet his arrest put him at ease. If Alby had been the one behind anything that would mean the cops would drop his case and move on, but he knew that was unlikely. If he'd remember that night perhaps he could offer freedom to either Declan or Alby but his word was useless according to the cops.

Tyler turned away from the window and leaned against it. He watched the boulevard in front of him observed people as they rushed by, admiring the sounds of the busy streets and zoned out into the abyss.

Ellie's phoned buzzed announcing two new messages. She grabbed her phone from the coffee table and read them quickly causing her to scowl. She didn't want to leave. She had only been outside her house for school or volleyball practice. Ellie tossed her phone next to her and sunk even further on the couch. She scanned the room becoming increasingly more uncomfortable as the grandfather clock ticked louder with every second, the dust settled more on the already dusty furniture and the paintings on the walls appeared to be staring. It didn't help that her high had reached it's peek, the paranoia was making her extremely uneasy.

Finally without further thought or reply to her friends she grabbed her phone and ran out of her house.

For some reason, probably out stress or paranoia, she began to sprint as fast as she could. Her surroundings were a blur and she took no time to catch her breath. Visions of her stress filled month clouded her mind, she wanted to scream. She had so many questions, she longed for answers and the suspense was become unbearable.

When she reached an unfamiliar part of town she would have kept running forward but a cop grabbed her arm forcing her to come to a halt. Bewildered, Ellie caught herself on his shoulder, almost launching back at his grasp "Everything okay Ellie? Are you running from someone, your eyes are red..." Ellie stared at the officer blankly and simply shock her head "Just heading to a friends" she mumbled and reclaimed her arm in his unnecessary tight grasp.

At that moment Ellie glanced around to examine her surroundings, she had no idea where she was. She looked over at the officer awkwardly and said "Do you mind giving me a lift? I think I'm lost." The cop examined her face, he had a suspicious and uncomfortable expression but he gave a silent nod and walked over to his cruiser parked next to the road and Ellie followed cautiously. He opened the door to the back seat and Ellie grimaced, she wasn't a criminal...why did she have to sit in the back, all she wanted was a ride?

On the drive the cop left no space for silence. As far as Ellie could tell the camera on his dash had been turned off which made it easy for interrogations. Ellie stared outside the window trying to ignore his sea of questions but he kept pressing and the paranoia from her high made it difficult to ignore him "Officer if you please, I'm not willing to discuss the case at this time"
"Of course you're not, but if you think that money going into your account has gone unnoticed then you must think us all fools"
Ellie glanced at him in surprise through the review mirror "I just--I"
"No sweat, we're at your destination." The cop exited his car and went around to her side and opened the door. Ellie stepped out of the vehicle with her guard up keeping her eyes looked on the officer. She nodded in thanks and was ready to walk off when he pulled her back by her arm again but more aggressively and whispered "we know." On that note he shoved her slightly and jumped back into his cruiser and sped off.
Ellie stared at the open road in confusion with millions of questions and thoughts exploding in her mind. She glanced over at Bea's house hesitantly, she didn't want to go in anymore. She could feel her whole body shaking, the high was lingering longer than most.

Finally after about several minutes of contemplating what the cop meant and debating whether or not to go and face Sam and Bea, Ellie made her way to the door and gave a small knock. She bowed her head nervously awaiting for an answer, there were a few things she desperately needed to discuss.

Tyler hadn't noticed how longer he'd been staring out into the abyss until a gentleman approached him "Kingsley is it? I'm sorry to bother you young man but people around town are getting uncomfortable with you linger around my shop, would you mind wandering off." Tyler glanced around to see peering eyes and whispering mouths, he smiled at the man weakly and quickly apologized.

Shoving his hands in his pockets Tyler began walking with his head down. Dark thoughts clouded his mind, thoughts of the gala especially. The gaps in his memory made him increasingly more uncomfortable, he wanted answers. He thoughts were disrupted suddenly when he heard his name in an echo. His head shot up and he glanced around curiously, the voice was not one he recognized.

A couple feet ahead was an alleyway, Tyler approached it cautiously and glanced inside, it was dark and gloomy and there was no one in sight. He shook his head assuming it was his paranoia when out of the dark a couple hands grabbed him and dragged him into the alley. He was quickly blindfolded and someone whispered "you little shit." He was about to scream when what felt like a silk cloth was placed inside his mouth, gagging him. He was now on the ground trying to break free as they bound his hands and began beating him mercilessly. They kicked him hard in the ribs and punched his face a few times, luckily as far as he could tell no weapons were being used. Their blows were excruciating and Tyler couldn't help but cry, he kept trying to break free but it was useless.

After what felt like a solid half hour of punches and kicks, they finally stopped and he was propped up against a wall. One final threat, in a woman's was muttered "you dare approach us again...we will end you and your sad life."

Several minutes passed, Tyler stood still in bewilderment, he felt like his insides were bleeding. The voices and all the other noises surrounding him had grown silent, the cold air of the alleyway kissed his cheek as a tear rolled down and Tyler exhaled heavily trying to catch his breath.

Ellie smiled weakly as Bea welcomed her awkwardly in her home. She lingered in the doorway momentarily as Bea opened the door a little wider. Her palms felt sweaty, she was nervous and the high was wearing off causing her chill to vanish and her paranoia to set in. On top of that her recent encounter with the cop didn't ease the situation. The last thing she wanted was to talk to her or Sam but something in the last hour or so clicked, she needed to at least talk to someone other than Tyler.

Ellie followed Bea silently in the hall and examined her from behind, Bea didn't look so good. Well not as good as usual, her badass persona is what caused the initial attraction but today the girl she crushed on seemed weary. It was almost as if Ellie's previous illness had transferred to Bea, she could only imagine what the last couple weeks had done to her. She rubbed her temple with a couple fingers debating her arrival, today didn't seem like a very good time.

"If you have Vodka or something I'd love a drink, ease the tension a bit" she said lightly. "Listen Bea, I owe you an apology...the night at the gala was interesting, I don't know I guess being holed up in my house the last little while has given me perspective on things. I guess Sam is on his way over, I'd rather wait until he's here but I think I'm catching on to something morbid...I just need another viewpoint. Oddly enough I think you and Sam know me better than anyone and you're probably the most honest people in my life...ironic isn't it?"

Ellie's phone buzzed announcing a message from Tyler, she pulled her smartphone out of her coat pocket and read the message, her face flushing instantaneously.

From: Ty

Message: It happened, I know what you did.

Ellie quickly shoved her phone back in her pocket and let out a slightly panicked sigh "I think I'm in trouble"

Tyler had managed to escape his bindings by cutting himself loose with a pocket knife. He sunk onto the cold gravel of the alleyway, he felt weak and exhausted. He pulled out his iPhone and sent Ellie a quick message, he would have been more furious and threatening if he didn't feel like he was about to faint.

Following his threat Tyler dialed 9-1-1, he was pretty sure his insides were bleeding and moving seemed next to impossible. He was ready to cry for help as the operator took his call but his sight became blurry and his dizziness became extreme. He started to see spots in his line of sight and the operators voice from his phone seemed to fade into the distance. "Please describe the situation." Her words seemed to circle in his head the situation...the situation...the situation. At that moment Tyler couldn't do it anymore, his eyes refused to stay open and the auburn bricks of the wall in front of him turned black. It felt nice to have his eyes closed, he focused on his breathing longing to mask the pain and from the distance sirens began to sing.
