Description

Kennedy Davenport

ImageImage
Image
Kennedy stands above most other girls her age at a height of 5'10, and she's not your typical blue eyed blonde either. No child of Zeus could really ever be called typical. Kennedy gets most of her height from her legs, which are long, lean, and toned from years of running. Her golden hair travels down to her mid-waist when left down, and always holds a sort of windswept look if she doesn't take the time to slow down and fix it up. Her skin is smoothly tanned from summers spent overseas, however, you couldn't quite call her "sunkissed". Kennedy has always seemed to look older than she is, which, when you're a teenager in Manhattan trying to sneak into bars and nightclubs, proved to be quite useful. Overall, Kennedy is much like many other demigods. She's different, and has a look about her that is always absent in any normal human.

Full Name: Kennedy Sheridan Davenport
Nicknames: Some people call her Ken, but if people try to call her Kenny she gets snappy.
Age: 18 years old
Godly Parent: Zeus
Birthdate: September 23rd
Home Town: Manhattan, NYC
Sexuality: Heterosexual

Likes: Running | Soccer | Her siblings | Teasing people (innocently of course) | The night sky | Thunderstorms | Traveling | Being in control | Greek mythology | Having fun | Dancing | Horror movies | Food
Dislikes: Not being in control | Science/Math (anything that involves formulas) | Idiocy | Losing | Drugs | Boredom | Getting out of control
Fears: Getting stuck in old habits | Losing | Dying | Being insignificant | Being a disappointment to herself and her family

Personality: Kennedy Davenport was always one to take the lead. And growing up in New York, that meant something. She was the leader of every group, and from a young age, she was looked up to. This is a girl who knows who she is, what she wants, and how to get it. Kennedy doesn't give up. If she wants something, she won't stop until she gets it, whether it's off limits or not. So, it's easy to say she's persistent. There are times when Kennedy's got a mean streak a mile wide, and if you get on her bad side, it'll take a while to get off. Her trust might be easy to gain, but it's also very easy to lose.

Kennedy is a girl who knows how to have a good time. She just rarely lets herself, because she knows what happens when she does. She's not that girl anymore. That was what got her in trouble. Actually, in Kennedy's life, a lot of things get her in trouble. She doesn't have as many boundaries as most people do. She's got no verbal filter, she's blunt, and headstrong, and she doesn't take no for an answer. She's bossy sometimes, and if she thinks you're messing something up, she wont hesitate to tell you exactly how you should be doing it, which often lands her in a bad situation, especially when she does it to teachers.

When it comes to guys, Kennedy knows what she likes. She's also not very subtle. She'll be straightforward, which is apparently disarming at times, depending on the person. As stated previously, Kennedy's not one to give up, on anything, and boys are no exception.

ImageHistory: Melinda Davenport was one of Manhattan's elite from birth all the way past her second husband. She was renowned by both her family name and by her beauty. Such beauty was what drew the eye of the god of gods, the almighty Zeus. When he first appeared to the mortal woman, it is safe to say she was taken aback by his size, and his radiance, the sense of power that emanated from him. This was a man who knew what he wanted, and this time, he wanted her. She found great pride in this, a man (or at least she thought he was merely a man), was so interested in her, as any elite woman of New York would. He was gorgeous, and though she never really got the chance to show him off, she enjoyed his company, far more than many sensible women would admit.

It came as no great shock to her when he left. For a woman who'd already been through two husbands, she was quite used to it. However, she hadn't been expecting him to leave something behind. 9 months after the god's sudden disappearance, Kennedy Davenport came into the world, just as golden and radiant as her father had been before her. This was Melinda's prize. This was what she would show off to the world, proof of her tryst with not a man, but a god. And not even a god, but the king of the gods.

All Kennedy's life, she wanted for nothing. Everything she asked for, she was given. And while she wasn't as much a spoiled brat as she could have been, she definitely didn't have as many boundaries as she should have. Some would have thought she was a child of Aphrodite as easy as it was for her to get what she wanted. It seemed she always looked older than she was, which came as a great help when sneaking into clubs at night. In school, Kennedy was the popular girl, with girls following after her trying to be her friend, and boys trailing behind her. Like most children of Zeus, Kennedy had the leadership qualities that always made her the front of every group. She always knew what she wanted, and in the end, she always got it.

However, as with all of Manhattan's elite, her power led to her downfall. With every party or club she went to, Kennedy wanted to try something new. And try she did. She got hooked on drugs, would get drunk with her friends, and do things respectable girls would never dare to even think about doing. Kennedy made a lot of mistakes, and over time, her spiral just kept going. Down...down...down...

Until one day, her mother decided to put a stop to all of it before her daughter could tarnish herself or the family name even more. But in this, she was not alone. Suddenly, Zeus was there, and together, they sat Kennedy down and brought her back to reality. They got her clean, and then revealed to her her true heritage. Her father told her who he was, where he came from, and what that made Kennedy. He told the girl and her mother about the Academy, and implored Melinda to send their daughter there. Kennedy was in shock. Suddenly, she was clean, she was dry, and she was a demigod. She was then forced to deal with the fact that instead of just being a teenager in Manhattan, she was the daughter of a god. She had powers she didn't know how to control, and her entire world was being turned upside down.

That same world, however, is now finding its way back right side up now that Kennedy's integrated herself at the academy. She loves her siblings, and knows that they will take this school by storm, even if they have to conjure up one on their own. She is wary of the more...hardcore party kids of the school, knowing that if she lets herself slip, she'll fall all the way back down her hole, and this time there might not be anyone to lift her out.

Anything else? Not right now...

So begins...

We won't back down
We've gotta take our best shot
Give it all we got now
We won't back down
They say we'll never make it
But we're gonna take it all the way

If one was to look in the room of two Zeus sisters, Caroline Straughn-Earle and Kennedy Davenport, it was possible that they would find one of them sleeping. The other however, had already been up for at least an hour, and was missing from her room. This was a normal thing, as once the sun rose, so did Kennedy. She always woke early, took a shower, and then proceeded to make that shower irrelevant by running up to 3-4 miles around the school.

And that was exactly what she was doing at that moment. With We Wont Give up by The Afters playing loud enough for those she passed to hear, Kennedy ran across the campus of Mount Olympus, oblivious to the world around her and lost to her own mind. Her hair was down and blew in the wind behind her. By now, most people were used to seeing the girl outside before class started. When she ran it seemed like she was competing against someone, or against herself, enough so that some might think she should have been the daughter of Nike instead of Zeus. But that was just how it was with Ken. She's always trying to best herself, stay one step ahead. She always felt like if she kept pushing, kept going further, maybe one day she'd get somewhere. She was always running, but she had no destination. She just ran, and ran, and ran...

Reaching the lake, she stopped, leaning against a nearby tree. The sun was just above the horizon, the sky painted in streaks of different colors. Taking out her earbuds and looking up at the sky, she proceeded to give a small salute while a smirk passed her lips. "Hey dad." Rolling her eyes at herself, she plopped down on the ground, laying back and just breathing. Closing her eyes, she decided to just lay there for a minute, or two, or ten, whatever worked...

We live on front porches
And swing life away
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labor
I'll slave till the end
I won't cross these streets
Until you hold my hand

The room was silent save for the quiet song playing throughout the room, and the only movement was the subtle rise and fall of Rose Gracey's chest as she slept peacefully in her bed. The mere sight of it all was calm, quiet, and serene.

At least it was until the alarm started going off.

Then, and Hades himself could swear it, all hell broke loose. In a matter of seconds, the peace that had settled over the room shattered. Rose, who had been sound asleep, woke with a start, and a yell, and fell off the side of her bed and crashed on the ground, her fall cushioned only by the multitude of blankets she'd burritoed herself into.

"Ouch." She spoke against the fabric of of one of the blankets. She layed there for a moment, listening to her alarm, and wishing she lived in a cartoon where she could suddenly pull a giant hammer out of thin air and smash it to pieces. With a groan, she lifted her self from the ground, somehow untangling herself from the covers, and rising to her feet. Upon looking around, she realized she had a choice to make: Go back to sleep and be late for class, or get ready, go to class, and actually get a good grade.

Sadly, she chose the latter. So, picking up her blankets, she placed them back on the bed, then turned to her alarm. As part of her morning routine, not surprisingly given that Apollo was her father, she always had the radio on. Music was like a shot of espresso to this girl. The first song to play was Swing Life Away by Rise Against, and Rose, smiling to herself, she sang along quietly and walked around the room, taking out everything she'd need to prepare herself for the day to come.

By the time she stepped out of the shower, the song had changed at least three times, and was now playing Postcards and Polaroids by Sleeping with Sirens. Drying off her hair and getting dressed, she looked around. Her room wasn't as clean as it should have been, but at least it didn't look like a tornado had just run through it. Grabbing her bag, she left her room, closing the door behind her and making her way down the hall. She thouht about going to see if Rueben was up yet, or Harry, but she decided that if they were up, she'd find them soon enough, and so she just kept walking.

And so the day began...What it would hold in store, no one knew. However, findng out? Well that was half the fun of it all...

Dustin Forten Crower

“Float like the tide, sting like a tsunami.”

“No!
You'll never be alone!
When darkness comes I'll light the night with stars,
Hear the whispers in the dark.
No!
You'll never be alone!
When darkness comes you know I'm never far,
Hear the whispers in the dark,
Whispers in the dark.”

“Forty-nine, fifty… aaaand that’s good enough.” Dustin huffed out a breath, dropping the weights with a clatter. Early morning was the time. The yellow sun had barely breached the horizon and the Son of the Sea God was already up and at ‘em. He pulled his ear buds from his ears turning off in the middle of Whispers in the Dark by Skillet. He was shirtless in his pajama pants. Every morning he lifted weights and usually jogged bit. But Dustin wasn’t just in the mood for jogging.

The teen changed quickly. He put on some jeans and a simple shirt for he would not be wearing them for long. He didn’t even bother wiping the sweat from his forehead or combing his hair. He grabbed a towel, a better pair of clothes, some boxers, a comb, and most of his school things, like his books and binders. He slung it over his shoulder and pushed his door open, walking down the hall.

The lake soon came into view. The sight of the water poured energy into his tired muscles. He dropped his bag near a tree and sprinted towards the dock. Every few steps, he shedded a piece of clothing. He kept going until he stopped at his Nemo Trousers.

His feet pounded heavily on the wooden dock. When he reached the edge, Dustin pushed off hard and dove into the water. The calm surface was broken and a slight splash could be heard, but Dustin made sure to scream “Geronimo!” before plunging in. The cold water made him wake up completely, sleep was no longer present. Sure, it was fall but the weather was still nice. As long as it wasn’t snowing, Dustin wasn’t afraid to go swimming. His head re-surfaced. Not for air, for her could breathe under water, but to check the scenery. He could see Kennedy chilling under a tree. He floated by on his back, hands behind his head. Dustin gave her a small wave, flashing a smirk.

If there was anything that Caro didn't do well it was mornings. For the blonde daughter of Zeus, mornings came far to quickly when sleep didn't come quick enough; of course she had to be roomed with an 'early bird gets the worm' kind of girl, Kennedy was her sister and best friend but their sleeping habits didn't half interrupt each others schedule. Caro was the kind of girl who enjoyed her sleep and the comfort of her bed, she stayed in bed until the very last possible moment, it was the only time when Caro liked to do, well, nothing. As usual, Kennedy had briefly woken her from her slumber when she awoke for her morning jog and usually Caro would fall back asleep within minutes, today however, the sun seemed to be too bright and the birds seemed to be too cheery and sleep would not find her again. Still, she stayed in bed, she had debated changing into her sporting gear and hitting the courts for a little bit, but her bed did not want her to leave that morning and so Caro stayed nestled under her duvet and read another few chapters of her book.

Eventually, the call of the day did lure Caro from her bed, stretching away the kinks and aches from her body she stifled a loud yawn before standing up, turning on her heel, she quickly remade her made bed. 'A tidy bedroom for a tidy mind' her mothers words resounded in her mind every morning, just one of the many things she missed about her home back in London, even things that annoyed Caro when she was at home, she missed immensely when away at school, she was just thankful she had Christian with her otherwise she was certain she wouldn't last the terms. Still, dwelling on such only brought out Caro's miserable and moody side and she was determined to be happy today. With a smile tugging at the corners of her lips she walked into their en-suit where she brushed and washed her face before returning to her room where she changed into her outfit for the day and applied her make up then straightened her hair, which now came to just above her shoulders a vast change from her previous tumbling long locks, but a new year, a new hairstyle.

After slipping the bangles onto her wrists and putting everything she would need into her bag, Caro was ready to go. She left hers and Ken's room, locking the door behind her, it didn't take long for the Demi-goddess to reach the entrance of the academy, the glorious white marble a perfect match for the temples which use to stand in Athens, it was truly a beautiful school, suppressing in grandeur and overall quality of learning than even some of the top boarding schools in England, she was truly looking to be here. As she walked through the door way, Caro slipped on her aviators, the sun already so bright for the morning and immediately the warmth soaked into her skin causing her to smile. The blonde made her way through the grounds, enjoying the momentary peace as she walked, soon she arrived at a favourite spot of the students at Olympus, the peaceful lake, the shimmering, crystal blue waters so inviting on such a pleasant morning, she could see that Dustin was already taking advantage of the luscious water, nothing beat a dip in the lake for a refreshing wake up.

Kennedy immediately caught her eye, she lay beneath a tree, relaxing, walking over Caro slumped down next to her "you seriously need to work on being more quiet in the morning" she frowned momentarily before smiling at her sister "but I love you, so I guess you'll off this once" she giggled pushing her sunglasses atop of her head before lying back down next to Kennedy, turning her gaze towards her sister "how are you this morning?"

Christian was on a roll. Sweat rolled down his bare back and down his forehead, causing his golden skin to glisten, he had been up since six, something which wasn't exactly welcomed but as soon as his work out began Christian quickly found that his endorphins gave him the energy and motivation he needed to complete the rigorous regime. It had begun with a two mile jog around the grounds, followed by more cardio and weight training in the gym; Christian was not a man of books, he had never been particular smart, in fact he always struggled with school, he was a slow developer and so he decided from a young age that his strength would be in sports and from then on he kept his body in ready sporting shape, it was gruelling and challenging but the benefits were worth it.

"Ninety seven, ninety eight, ninety nine...one hundred" with a final push, Christian set the bench press back into the bracket, he sat up reaching for his sports drink, even for a son of Zeus, Christian found himself needing a respite, he may have greater strength than most but he was still only a Demi-god, he had his limits. Luckily his work out was now over, walking over to his gym bag' Christian grabbed his small towel and dabbed his head and chest before slipping his tee shirt back on and left the gym. It only took him a few minutes before he reached his room and once in the room went immediately to the shower, emerging a mere five minutes later, all remnants of his vigorous work out washed down the drain with the hot soapy water. He walked from his bathroom, a towel wrapped around his waist, whilst he roughly dried his hair with another towel, then proceeded to change into his clothes, a pair of dark blue jeans, a button down plaid shirt and finally a pair of converse, he then grabbed his mobile and sent a quick text to Rueben.

Look alive. I'm on my way -Chris

Short and to the point just as he liked it. Slinging his rucksack over one shoulder, Chris left his room for the second time that morning, it took him only a few seconds to reach Reuben's room, knocking loudly on the door "yo dude, open up!"

Kennedy hadn't been laying there for long when she heard a splash. Opening her eyes, which, had for a few minutes, been closed in thought and other good things, she sat up slightly and looked over at the water, where she noticed Dustin floating along on his back. Strangely, he reminded Ken of an otter. But, in a good way. As he waved, she waved back, shooting the boy a smile. She was just starting to be able to feel the sun, and paired with the breeze that was floating through the air, this day was already promising to be quite beautiful.

Glancing back at Dustin, she finally got a good look at what he was wearing. She laughed. "Nice pants fish boy!" Her tone alone gave away that she meant no real harm. She never would. In fact, she was still a little kid who watched Disney movies whenever she was in her dorm. For the daughters of the king of the gods, when they were alone, Caro and Ken were still such kids. Enough so that it would most likely surprise some people.

Speak of the devil...

When Caro plopped down next to her, she laughed. "Next time, I'll be sure to turn on some heavy metal, just for you." She looked up with a smirk, but almost held up her hands to avoid getting whacked, though she honestly couldn't contain the smile and the laugh that sprang forth. As her sister lay back, Ken maneuvered so she lay sideways, her head on Caro's stomach. She made a good pillow. It was like laying on a cloud. And while they were missing the third of their unstoppable trio, Ken knew Chris was probably off doing...something, and she was quite content to just lay there with her sister.

"Well thank the gods you love me. You know, I dont know if I've ever really been on the receiving end of one of your rages before. Lucky me." She shrugged, chuckling to herself and just relaxing.

Image

Rose was just walking along, when suddenly a voice broke through her thoughts, and a shoulder brushed her own. Looking to her side....Colton. She simply rolled her eyes. "And here I was having such a nice morning. Got up, took a shower, listened to some music, and then...." She looked over at him with a smirk.

She and Colton had this thing going. He'd attempt to make her swoon, and she'd just fire back some retort. This boy reveled in his godly parentage, and to be honest, Rose wasn't sure any other god or goddess would have fit him better. The guy flirted like it was the only way he knew how to communicate, and sometimes, Rose wasn't so sure that it wasn't. But, he was amusing, and the two were definitely friends. Sure, he was attractive, all the Aphrodite kids were. There was no mistake about that, but...

Turning a corner and opening a door, Rose was suddenly hit with a breath of fresh air as she stepped outside. Breathing in deeply, she looked around, suddenly realizing that, truth be told, she didn't even know where she was going. Sure, she knew the school, but this morning, she didn't really have a destination. She could go to class, but even the teachers probably weren't there yet.

So, she just turned, and she kept walking. Looking out across the distance, she spotted Taran and Harry. Smiling, she made her way over to them, waving a bit as she got closer. Turning to Colton, who still walked along at her side, she smiled. "So, guess I might was well ask, how's your morning?"

Brandon Faust

Brandon, as he always did, woke before the sun. He got up, stretched, made his bed, got changed into heavy sweats, and tossed his workout gear into a simple bag that he threw over his shoulders. His gear included two well worn muay thai hand guards, a pair of shorts, and a gallon jug of water. Brandon then started his day.

Brandon liked to start his morning workout with a three mile run around campus followed by stair sprints. The feeling of being up before the sun was great. The sky was a fantastic violet that was slowly breaking into lighter blues and golds. It was a beautiful scene. As much as he'd like to share it with someone, not everyone was willing to wake up as early as he did. Throwing away such distracting thoughts, Brandon ran on, effortlessly. He had always been a good athlete, so he finished his run in about twenty minutes he wasn't too surprised; that was pretty average. His path had taken him to the school's sports stadium, and there he ran five sets of stairs in another fifteen minutes before jogging back to the school's gym in another five. By the time Brandon had made it to the gym, it was roughly 5:40 am. Brandon set to his cardio first, as it made a better warm up for his weights. Brandon jumped rope for ten minutes and then did box steps for another ten, bringing him to six o'clock. Once he'd finished, he had really started working up a sweat and decided to remove his heavier hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants. He tossed on his shorts and set to weights. Today was chest and back. Brandon did bench, military, and angled presses followed by lat pulls and push ups. Once he was finished, Brandon could finally get to work on his real training.

Instead of making his way to the punching bag, which his half-sister Abby was using, Brandon made his way to a wooden cylinder, set on a rack, with a few wooden bars sticking out of it at odd angles, a training dummy. Approaching the dummy, Brandon took his stance and took a few deep breaths. Brandon allowed the sweat to roll off his forehead and down past his eyes and chin. He stood for what seemed like ages, waiting for some unknown signal. A drop of sweat, grasped tightly by gravity, succumbed to the Earth's pull and began to fall. Suddenly, like an alligator snapping at unsuspecting prey, Brandon began. He rained a hail of blows on the dummy, perfectly deflecting its built in counter strikes and using the machine's rotation to create even more combos. Brandon looked like a human blender, his hands moved so fast that it they appeared to be invisible. Loud cracks of hard bone on wood rang out through the gym, and intensified as Brandon upped his pace. Though the sweat stung his eyes and the strikes hurt his wrists, Brandon kept going until twenty minutes at the dummy had passed. He slowed and eventually stopped, making one last strike at the heart and neck targets. Brandon tiredly walked over to a bench and sat, wiping the sweat from his eyes and taking big gulps of water. He looked up, only to find Abby gone. Breakfast must be soon. Brandon looked at the clock, 7:10 am. He had a little time and there was still practice to be had. Brandon walked over to his bag and pulled on the heavily worn Muay Thai pads and made his way over to the punching bag. It had been worked pretty well by Abby, and there were still a few deformations in the pad from where the foam hadn't sprung back yet. Brandon placed his hands on the pad, mirroring her strikes. He smiled. "She's got a hell of a cross." Brandon whispered to himself, admiring the solid dent on the upper left side of the bag. "My turn." He whispered, and at that, he began.

Muay Thai doesn't just focus on using fists and feet like traditional kickboxing. It uses every part of the human body. Elbows, knees, fists, shins, feet, forearms, and the heel of the palm were all utilized by Muay Thai. Further, from practicing Wing Chun, Brandon had learned to flow between strikes, opening up opportunities for effective combos. As such, Brandon's personal style was fierce and relentless. He pounded on the bag, setting it rocking in rhythm with his strikes. Brandon's fights with his imaginary foe began with more traditional boxing strikes, a few quick jabs, followed by a right hook and a left upper. Once he had drilled his fists into the soft pad and gotten a good feel for pacing, Brandon grappled the bag and sent a loaded knee into the vulnerable ribs of his imaginary opponent. Following his enemy's blind strikes, which were deflected with elbows and forearms, Brandon set to attacking his opponent's limbs, to keep them from striking back. A flurry of blows rained on the left arm, shattering the forearm and breaking the elbow. Afterwards came a devastating low kick to the right knee, setting the foe off balance and into Brandon's waiting elbow. Once the jaw was broken, the right leg was broken at the shin, followed by the right arm, at the elbow, as the desperate, wild haymaker was thrown. His enemy completely immobilized, Brandon's final strike sent a powerful knee into the forehead of his now kneeling enemy. The skull fractured and his imaginary foe was dead. Brandon's strikes were brutally efficient and more than a little gruesome, but war was war. The sooner one was down, the sooner the rest could follow.

After that, Brandon quickly gathered his things, showered in his own room, dove into some clean clothes and a jacket, tossed his dirty clothes into his hamper, put his school supplies in his backpack, and left for breakfast. He jogged across the quad, waving to Harry, Ken, Rose, and a few others as he made his way to the cafeteria. As he walked, he noticed that Rosalie and Selsye were sitting under a tree near the lake, Selsye's nose was buried in her book like usual. Brandon smiled, she had a voracious appetite for books. As Brandon walked he noticed that Rowan Tinne was there too, talking with Rosalie. He wanted to go straight to food, but he could always grab something later; further, the temptation to talk with Selsye and his other friends was too great. He diverted from his path and walked over to the two girls, a big smile on his face. "H-hey!" He fumbled, addressing the group and tripping over a root in his anticipation to talk with Selyse. "What's everyone up to today? Mind if I join you?" He asked, genuine interest and care showing through his slight stutter. Rosalie's presence was making Brandon a bit nervous, but she was a friend, so his usual awkwardness was mostly forgotten. He kneeled down, then sat next to Selsye, on the opposite side from Rosalie, not too close, but not too far away either. Once he was seated, he continued. "Or would you prefer I left you guys alone with your books and your private conversation?" Brandon asked.

"Next time, I'll be sure to turn on some heavy metal, just for you." Caro groaned at the mere thought "do it and I'll electrocute you, don't believe me? Just ask out Christian why he had no eyebrows for a whole month when we were thirteen" she countered, giggling at the amusing memory.

Kennedy shifted positions so her head came to rest on Caro's stomach, both staring up at the incredibly blue skies above Olympus, a mere few wisps of white clouds scattered across the pastel skies, not sullying the day but instead enhancing the enchantment of summer. A wave of serenity washed over the sisters, a quick breath of cool air washed over them, causing Caro's bare arms to slightly prickle as she absentmindedly played with a few strands of Ken's hair, an almost identical shade to her own, it often amazed her how similar they actually were both in physical and mental appearances, it was stated, quite often that herself, Ken and Chris could have been triplets. How wonderful would that have been!? Not only related through a not-so-mythical father but also through a mother, still it was pure coincidence this resemblance, for Caro had met Kennedy's mother, in all her splendid, New York Socialite glory. "Well thank the gods you love me. You know, I dont know if I've ever really been on the receiving end of one of your rages before. Lucky me."

Caro scoffed audibly, feigning insult as she lightly swatted her sister forehead "cheeky cow" she mumbled before succumbing to laughter herself "Yes, Praise the gods!" She called out dramatically, her outstretched with clasping hands as she mimicked a praying motion towards the sky, before bringing them back down to her sides with a small chuckle "and no, you haven't, you have no idea what I am fully capable off, consider this your warning mere mortal!" she joked in a deep, serious tone, one that vaguely resembled that of Zeus's but also one which she couldn't hold on to for very long before her velvety laughter spilt from her lips, followed by a content sigh of happiness, what more could she possibly want in her her life right now?.

"En un momento, me estoy poniendo en mi camisa!"

Reuben's muffled reply came from within the spaniards dorm room; had the door, Christian was stood in front of, had eyes an expression of pure confusion would have been seen. The son of Zeus frowned, feeling momentarily struck stupid at the lack of knowledge with his best friends native language; every single foreign language class he had ever taken in his schooling years had been a failure for Christian, whether it be French, German or Spanish, all assignments, test and homework seemed to be brandished with a big, fat 'F.' Safe to say, languages weren't his strong suit, yet it wasn't for lack of trying, many things could be said about the Demi god but 'needs to try harder' certainly wasn't one of them, he applied himself 100% in everything he did, academically or otherwise, unfortunately his mind did not seem to grasp the academic side too well, one too many rugby tackles to the head, he often jokes, however the reality being that his severe dyslexia meant that his mind processed letters and numbers a lot differently to what is considered the norm, something which he keeps secret even to his closest friends.

Suppressing such thoughts of self worth, always a dangerous topic for Chris, he shook his head, any doubt instantly vanishing "come again?" He replied quizzically. After a series of bumps and grunts coming from the other side, Christian fathomed two possible scenarios, one was that Rueben had company, something which was a possibility with the Spanish Casanova, the females simply loved him, with Christian and his British accent and Rueben and his exotic aura, the pair made a dangerous team when it came to the dating games of Olympus Academy. His second theory was that his friend was quickly trying to get ready, a theory which was confirmed when Rueben finally opened the door. Christian quirked an eyebrow at Reuben's awkwardness, but his usual beaming smile quickly made its self known.

"¡Buenos Dias Christian!." Rueben greeted in his usual colourful manner. "Morning, 'bout time you opened up, I was beginning to think you were sneaking my sister out" he replied with a smirk, making evident his level of jest, although his head did crane around the door just to make sure, his eyes immediately caught sight of the clothes strewn across the floor "you know, in your closet there are these things called hangers, quite a nifty invention really, frees your floor up good and proper" he chuckled with a shake of his head as he clasped his hand on Reuben's shoulder "let's go eat. I think the rest of the lads are already there."

Kennedy never understood how she and Kenn weren't full sisters. They were always so in sync, they usually finished each other's sentences, understood things no one else would, and had this way of communicating that didn't seem to require actual words. And then there were the physical similarities. The similarities that had people guessing if they were twins, or at least sisters, every time they went into town on weekends. Both had golden blonde hair, strong, almost regal features, and, despite Ken's height, they had the same sort of builds. Enough so that the two could borrow each other's clothes sometimes. They were sisters through and through.

The same could be said for Kennedy and Chris. He was the brother she'd never had, well, until she figured out she probably had thousands of brothers because her father was a manwhore and she was related to freaking Hercules. How many people can say that? Well, that wasn't a very good question. The number of people who could say that could probably fill their own little country.

By the time she floated back down to reality, Caro was being...weird, but fun. "and no, you haven't, you have no idea what I am fully capable off, consider this your warning mere mortal!" Kenn slapped her leg, not hard, but not soft either. "I am not a 'mere mortal' missy!" Her grin was large and she couldn't contain her laughter. After a minute, she let out a sigh. "Do we have to go to class today? Can't we just stay here? And not move? Forever? Chris can come too if he promises to be nice." Kennedy was content where she was. She was comfortable, and classes were so...boring.

"Totally. It makes my day to be in your presence." Rose never seemed to miss all the smirks and smiles and winks Colton sent in her direction. She often wondered if this was just how he acted around all girls, because, in all honesty, it seemed like it was. But then there were moments...moments where he seemed...different. It definitely had her baffled, not that she'd let him know that of course. No,she'd just continue to banter on with him like she always had. She'd wait until she figured it out for herself.

When Harry waved, she smiled over at him, and nodded to Taran. Rose knew she could call Taran a friend, sort of. They weren't best buds, but they were friends. And then, there was Wes. Rose wasn't sure how she felt about Wesley. She knew there was some itch between him and Harry, but she didn't exactly feel like getting bogged down in that.

And suddenly, he and Colton were off. Colton's last remark had Rose once again rolling her eyes. "If you can find me." She smirked, but turned back to the others. When Harry signed her asking about if the bell had rung, she shook her head no before replying. 'Not yet. Should soon though.'. She smiled and shifted her bag on her shoulder. She had been there for Harry when he lost his hearing. And she knew it was a big change for him. It had taken a long time for him to come to terms with it, and when he started the sign classes at the rec center, she hadn't let him go alone. No, she went with him. And when they figured out they were demigods, they didn't let each other go it alone either. They both came to MOA, and they've been by each other's side through everything. Good, and bad.

Taran was next to speak, again, about breakfast. "Yeah, sure. I've got some time before class."

Caro yelped slightly as Ken slapped her leg "that hurt!" She grumbled reaching down to rub the reddened spot on her creamy flesh "I am not a 'mere mortal' missy" Ken added playfully, making her sister roll her eyes playfully "no, you are more of hulk with your strength, you should be with the avengers not at Olympus" she chuckled lightly alongside Ken, after a moment both girls sighed momentarily, falling back into another comfortable silence.

"Do we have to go to class today? Can't we just stay here? And not move? Forever? Chris can come too if he promises to be nice." Now that did sound heavenly, herself, Ken and Chris all together, they certainly did not need anyone else, it was perfect, her sigh of happiness expressing her content at the idea "sound wonderful, sweetie, although I think I may just murder Chris if we were in the same space, forever" she laughed sweetly. Don't get her wrong, she loved her brother dearly, however he was a major pain in the ass the majority of the time, he was always doing thing just to irritate her, trying to make her angry, she chuckled to herself, with Ken's strength and her temper they would make the perfect hulk. Just then her stomach growled, signalling that she was ready to eat, in fact she was starving, she hadn't eaten much at dinner last night and was paying for it now.

Sitting up, Caro shifted so Ken's head fell down to her stomach "have you eaten yet? I am starved!" She stated wrapping a strand of her sisters golden locks, twirling it around her finger in an idle manner.
