Personality: (I suck at writing personalities, but I'll do my best.) One important thing is that he absolutely worships Naruto Uzumaki. Everything about him, the man is an absolute paragon in Ryu's eyes. A part of Ryu that shows this is his infallibly idealistic nature. He always wants the right thing to happen, and if it looks like it won't happen, then he'll make it happen. And God's mercy upon any obstacles. He always works to better himself, and always tries to take on as much responsibility as possible. However, given his treatment as a Jinchuuriki, his father's treatment of him, and his distinct lack of talent compared to other Uchiha's his age, he has a rather low opinion of himself. He always tries his hardest, yet constantly feels that it just isn't good enough. At all times he tries to be like Naruto and stay optimistic no matter what, but sometimes he just gets so frustrated and angry, because it all feels so hopeless. He never really had much in the way of friendship, so when he finds someone he cares about, he'll tear the heavens asunder to keep them safe. But as much as he craves companionship, he refuses to compromise in order to do so. For example, his clothes. He likes them, and when people comment on how it's stupid and how he'd be better off with something else, he thinks of Naruto with his orange jumpsuit, and he tells those people go to hell. He hates giving up on anything, because he's taken Naruto's nindo as his own. He's also a truly hopeless romantic, and when he's not training, he can be found reading a cheesy romance. NOT ICHA ICHA BOOKS! Romance, not smut.

History: Uzumaki Naruto, was dying. He was very old. So the Kyuubi needed to be passed on before he died. When he learned that Sasuke's daughter was pregnant, he wanted the child to become the new container. So as the child was born, the Kyuubi was sealed from Naruto into him. With his dying breath, Naruto said, "This kid, he'll be as fierce as a dragon, dattebayo. Just like his grandfather." so the boy was named Ryu. Or, Dragon. Sadly, his mother's life was claimed during his birth. She had wanted her son to be the Jinchuuriki, so had been prepared for it. His father, hadn't wanted that for his son, so when his wife died in childbirth, he began to hate Ryu. For causing the death of his wife, and for being a monster. So he grew up a subject of hatred within his own household. Hated by his own father his whole life. The rest of the village didn't like him much either. Naruto had been a Jinchuuriki, and people still smiled when they heard his name. But this child, he was an untested container. People didn't try to attack him, but when he walked down the street, he still cleared a path. Even within the Uchiha, he was the Grandson of Sasuke himself, a man who could stand toe-to-toe with Naruto. Yet Ryu showed very little talent, and was bullied by other children quite often. The only person who ever paid him any attention without glaring was his grandfather. But Sasuke died when Ryu was only 7. When he was offered the chance to enter the Ninja Academy, he was unsure. He seriously considered not going. Until he met with the daughter of Naruto and Hinata. Interested with the new Kyuubi Jinchuuriki, she talked to him. He learned a lot about Naruto, and later, he went to the library and read his autobiography. For 15 hours he didn't move from his chair. He did nothing but read that autobiography cover to cover. Then afterwards, he spent 8 hours reading the 'Tale of the Gutsy Ninja'. He immediately afterwards rushed to the academy to join. Then fell asleep on the spot.

Skills and Abilities
No Genjutsu skill to speak of.
Trains as much as possible but doesn't have any really amazing skill in Taijutsu. Though the jacket he wears is weighted to be about 75 pounds, and is upped whenever it stops being a challenge for him. Though it goes kind of slowly. He is although, quite skilled with a sword.
Decent with Ninjutsu, though he relies on his ridiculous chakra stores a bit more than he should really.
Know standard medic stuff such as binding a wound, but lacks the chakra finesse required to really do much healing.


Signature Techniques:
Lightning Ball (He slings the ball down his sword and throws it at the enemy.
Raiton: Sandaa Saaburu (Lightning Style: Thunder Saber): Covers his sword in electricity, allowing even a glancing touch to be, shocking.
Raiton Bunshin no Jutsu (Lightning Clone Technique): Self-Explanatory. He learned it as an alternative to the Kage Bunshin Jutsu which he has no way to learn, but it's a rather unstable technique at the moment.

Notes: Just like Sasuke, Ryu is incredibly handsome. Though completely oblivious to this fact, mostly due to the fact that his being a Jinchuuriki kind of dampened the reaction he would've gotten otherwise.
Ryu is in a squad with Hyuga Seiji, and Kaguya Kanashia.
