“Kaseme, Kenzaki. I expect you to be on your best behavior when there. The Mist has always been so distant with the other village and Konoha is the only one we really have made any progress with in maintaining the alliance. The rest of the villages… Well let’s just say they’re not fond of me gathering information from them so easily.”
Nagi rose from his bowing position with a devious smirk played across his face, up to no good as usual
" Well my best behavior isn't exactly ideal either Lady Mizukage, but I think I can manage to behave myself just this once, and if thinks start to heat up with the other Kages and their shinobi escorts..." He swifly unsheathed on of his hooked blades and twirled it masterfully between his fingers before tightening his grip around it's handle " then you can count on me to put them in their place and show them what our ninja are made of.
Although it was essentially only an escort mission he knew full well just how tense things can get when Kages from rival nations are all in one place, prides will clash with words that hide forked tonged intentions and threats, and if things went right by going horribly wrong he would get his chance to test himself against strong shinobi from other villages. Nagis eyes drifted momentarily to the kid next to him and he wondered what use could the kid possibly be on a potentially high risk mission such as this, he certainly didn't look like much, then again he knew it was wise to never judge a book by it's cover
' ..still, this kid couldn't be no more than thirteen, must be something special ' he thought to himself as attention returned to Lady Mizukage as he returned his blade to it's home at his side, he was eager to put them to good use for once in a long time.
Hiorama quietly took in the girl's story, he was expected something traumatic but he would be lying if he said he wasn't surprised to find that a tailed beast be the cause of this, even more surprising was how a tailed beast was running rampant so frequently and their be no reports of it coming from other villages. It made no sense that they would try and keep something so vital on hush hush, they practically took a ticking time bomb and sent it off to Konoha as if to say
' It's your problem now, not ours ' Had she arrived at Konoha on schedule she could have very well caused a lot of chaos that they did not need, not only that but because of their decision to send her off they have become responsible for the destruction of another village, it was something that couldn't be ignored he decided right then and there he would be addressing this at the Kage meeting. He couldn't worry about that too much however, for at the moment he now had to decide what's t be done with the girl.
in recent times it seems that villages, even the Hidden Leaf, have become less responsible with their tailed beat and Jinchuriki. Probably due to leaders becoming complacent, after the last Great ninja war thanks to the ninja world's hero Naruto Uzumaki the tailed beast themselves were left in states of peace much like the the great nations, but it seems just as time has eroded their fragile peace so has it allowed the tailed beast to revert back to their naturally violent natures which some villages apparently were not prepared for. In light of this he knew he would also have to check up on the current Jinchuriki residing in Konoha...with strokes of misfortune it seemed that mere children were the only ones suitable enough to host the massive chakras of the tailed beast, precautions would have to be put in place to avoid disaster, they were fortunate enough to not have anything happen all this time like they have with the seven tails. Hiorama who was deep in thought looked up into the eyes of the girl desperately waiting for a reply, he realized that he again let his mind wonder off into things of the future without addressing the issue at hand.
" Well little one...to be honest as things are it would be ideal to have you sent to another village more..prepared to receive you, though it would be irresponsible of me to burden another village with such a volatile jinchuriki that is only self trained in maintaining a crucial balance. " He stood up and turned from her to stare out the window into the horizon of the Hidden Leaf
"Yes... I suppose the best course of action would be to allow you to remain here until you can be taught to better control the tailed beast, or until we've located someone more suitable for the task in another village " he said, almost as if he was muttering to himself, in a serious tone. He then turned to her with a welcoming smile on his face
" For now, you are welcome to remain in the Hidden Leaf, but be sure to remember this is only temporary for we cannot allow you to remain here permanently for there is a delicate balance in power we must maintain between nations. Also, be sure to let no one else know what you have inside of you, it would put our village in a bad spot if others were to discover we housed two jinchuriki " in reality 3, but that was not for her to know.
