Description: "Nelia has been told she looks younger then she is suppose to"
Nelia is four feet eight inches tall and weighs about ninety pounds. She has long light brown
hair that flows down to the middle of her back. Her hair is often held back with a hair bow
or headband because if it isn't she gets annoyed with it being in her eyes. Her eyes are a
deep dark brown that goes well against her milky colored skin with a few freckles over her
nose. She has a very innocent look to her.

Personality: "Nelia has been called weird and strange, Nelia doesn't understand why"
Nelia has been different since she was younger, she usually talks in third person which sometimes
confuses people. She hasn't made very many friends through her childhood because of her
differences and because of her shy nature. Nelia is often known to be very naive, when she doesn't
understand something she often will ignore it or do the complete opposite and ask everyone until she
finds out what it means. She gets distracted easily and can not pay attention on something for a long
period of time. Though it might seem unlikely Nelia is actually very intelligent and actually does very
well in school when she is able to pay attention. She is very much a dreamer and often her mind
will be wandering and seems to be in a dream like state.

Nelia also always carries around a stuffed dog named Norson. She never goes anywhere with out
Norson and if anyone tries to take Norson away from her she breaks down. She will either withdraw
herself from everyone until Norson is back in her arms or she will attack the person that took Norson
from her. She is very black and white and doesnt usually fall into the grey area. She often has times
where she just withdraws from everyone and hides where people can't find her. She thinks about her
family that she lost and that day. She shows her emotions on her face and everyone can tell if she
is having a good day or a bad day. The bad days can sometime last more then one day at a time and
during those times only a few people will see her.

History: "Nelia doesn't like talking about this, so Nelia wants to talk about something happier"
Nelia was born to an irish family, she had a Mama, Papa and her older brother Stephen. Her parents knew
Nelia was different, she didn't start talking till she was around the age of three and when she did she would
talk in the third person. Her parents went to different doctors and they sent her to a speech doctor. Though
that really didn't help and they said that she may or may not grow out of it. Well she didn't and her parents
decided when it came to schooling she was going to be home schooled, they did try to put her in preschool
but she came home crying more then once because of other kids picking on her. Her older brother was
six years older then Nelia so he was very protective of her and watched her like a hawk. Nelia grew up
pretty much in her own little world, she was very imaginative and creative, always seem to be living in a
dream world.

Then everything went down hill one day, it was late in the night and she woke up to someone carrying her
out of her house and she was holding Norson. She was having a hard time breathing and the guy that was
carrying her was in a firemans uniform. She turned her head to look at her house, the house she grew up with
was now in flames. She cried out for her mother, father, and brother but she didn't hear them or see them.
Later on when she was in the hospital she was told by a social worker that her parents and brother died in
the fire. This pretty much broke Nelia, the social workers placed Nelia in foster homes but all the foster
homes has issues with her or she got picked on by the other kids too much. So once she turned twelve
she was sent to Hillside Academy where she was put in St. Myou's.

Misc: "Alone Again, Naturally" by Gilbert O'Sullivan

"This is Neila's Norson"
Her mother gave her Norson when she was three years old and since then she never put him down.

It was a cloudy day up on Hillside Academy, it was the middle of August and it looked like it might rain. Today was the day new first years students would be starting and all the upperclassmen where hustling about trying to get the rooms in the first hall ready for the new students. Some of the older students would be assigned a first year, to help them out and show them around. The student council president for each school and the Etoile where to meet in the meeting room in a half hour to talk about the assembly. All the students at Hillside Academy know that the teachers hardly ran things, the Etoile and the Student Council where the ones that practically did everything. The thing is no one could find the Etoile. She has ran off in hiding once more and they need her to greet the new first years, give them their necklaces, and rule book. Now where could the Etoile be hiding?

It was snowing, Skye was looking out the window “we should try to head back Ana is going to be worried” she said as she turned her head to Cary who was sitting on the couch “I don’t know Skye the weather is pretty bad out there.” Skye went over to Carly, sitting beside her she put her hands on Carly’s cheeks and turned the girls face to face hers “Hun, I will drive slow. I think we can do it.” Skye then moved her head forward and softly kissed Carly’s lips, it wasn’t a long kiss but it was sweet
.

Skye was driving, the snow was coming down hard and she wasn’t able to see that well. Carly’s hand was on her lap. They didn’t say anything really as Skye really tried to focus on the road. The car started to slide and she tried to get it under control, she looked over to Carly and said "I love you Carly". The next thing she saw was bright lights, there was a scream, she saw blood and felt the impact of the crash. Then it went black
.

Skye woke up screaming and shaking, it was the fourth time this week she had the dream. She was laying in bed with only a bra and boy shorts on but she was sweating. She looked at the clock it was only four am and she saw Ana laying there still sleeping in the other bed. She slowly climbed out of bed and quietly walked to the bathroom. Closing the door she went to the sink and splashed some water on her face then went back out to the room she put on her school uniform, grabbing a shawl and her violin then she quickly made her way out of the room so she wouldn’t wake up Ana.

Skye walked down the hallway, down the stairs then out the door. It was a bit chilly but it was to be expected at this time of day. She walked down the path and into the woods, taking her time and slowly walking past the trees and bushes. She saw the stable and horse riding area to her right, she always wanted to learn to ride, horses was one of Carly’s favorite things but after Carly’s death she lost interest in wanting to learn new things.

As Skye finally made it to the path she always walked, the path Carly and her used to walk on a daily basis. She looked up to the trees while she walked noticing the leaves where already starting to change color. Skye finally made it to her destination. There was a huge rock that had a hole in it that was big enough for people to crawl into, sort of like a cave. Carly noticed it one day on their walk and since then it was a place they always went to where no one could find them, Skye kept going there after the accident. It was where she would hide especially when she had to do assemblys or anything to do with the Etoile work. She sat down in the cave area and pulled out her violin and started to play quietly.

Nelia was sitting in the car holding Norson, her bags on the seat beside her. She was a bit nervous, she didn’t like that she was having to go to a new school and also having to live her but she knows that it’s the only place she can go. She looked up to the women in the front seat, the women was Nelia’s social worker and has been working with her since the fire “Nelia was wondering how much longer we will be there” she asked the women. “About another five minutes sweetie then we will be at your new home”.

Nelia nodded her head and looked to Norson “You hear that Norson, Nelia and Norson will be at their new home soon”. She smiled and looked out the window, she watched the trees go by and soon enough they where driving in through the gates of her new school “Nelia we are here sweetie” . Nelia unbuckled her seat belt and climbed out of the car grabbing her two suitcases while holding Norson. She walked up the path with the social worker and went through the front doors. To the right Nelia noticed a small office with a window, her social worker ushered her over to the window and she saw there was a student there and the student opened the window “Hello how can I help you?” the student asked. She let the social worker do the talking “Hello I am here with Nelia Emberson, she is suppose to be starting school here today”. The student looked through some papers “Ah yes let me call down your roommate, she will be the one helping Nelia out”. The student then called over the intercom:

“Charlie Delaine please come down to the office”

The student then looked to Nelia “Charlie will be down soon, why don’t you take a seat at the bench”. Nelia smiled “Nelia says thank you for your help” she then looked to her social worker “Okay Nelia this is where I will leave you, if you need anything just give me a ring. Be good and listen to your elders. I will come by to check on you in a few mothers” “Nelia really is thankful for your help and will look forward to seeing you soon” she watched as her social worker left and she grabbed her bags and went and sat on the bench holding Norson close, waiting for Charlie to come down.

Claire was sleeping, the slow hum of the plane engine having lulled her into a dreamless sleep on her way to Australia. Her father had seen her off on the plane, and given her a sleeping pill. Claire was terrified of flying, especially alone, but it was the only way to get to the school. Her father's step-brother, whom Claire had never met, would be waiting for her at the air port to pick her up and take her to the school.

The soft ding of the overhead speaker woke her, and she rubbed her tired eyes. "Please fasten your seat belts for descent into London on our first and only stop on this flight," The voice of the flight attendant was soft and caring, and she seemed kind to Claire. As she belted herself into her seat, she braced herself for her ears to pop.

As they landed in London, she got off the plane to meet her mothers sister. She would be buying Claire dinner before they took off for the last leg of their flight. She sat with her aunt, whom she had never met, and ate in silence. The food was good, and they chatted about if she was excited, or nervous. On top of buying her dinner, Claire's aunt gave her some money for spending. She thanked her, told her she would write, and kissed her cheek. Before getting back on the plane, her aunt gave her another sleeping pill, and she fell asleep soon after take off.

This time, Claire fell into a less easy sleep, and dreamed about something so terrible...not making any friends at the school. She woke up to the ding of the over head speaker system, and she listened to the same announcement she had heard before they landed in London. She stretched, looking over at the woman she was sitting next to.

"Have you ever been to Australia?" She asked the old lady, pushing her bangs behind her ear. The old woman didn't reply, as she was asleep also, so Claire merely shrugged and looked out the window. It looked beautiful, and took her breath away. Claire got out of the plane, and found her uncle holding her name with her sign. As they walked out to his car, she looked around her.

"Is it always this beautiful?" She asked him, sitting in the front seat with her carry on at her feet and her suit case behind her.

"Yup. You'll get used to it," He said. Claire's father had told her he was a man of few words, so she left it at that. The sleeping pill had left her groggy, but she was awake enough to watch everything go by as they drove toward the school. It was about a two hour drive, and Claire watched everything.

They pulled up to the school, and her uncle talked to someone at the front desk. A lady paged someone to help her, a Liza Moore, and she sat down next to another girl with a stuffed dog.

"Your dog is cute," Claire said, smiling kindly. "I'm Claire. You can call me CeeCee if you want," Her uncle ruffled her hair as she left, and she made the same promise to write to him that she had made to her aunt in London. He smiled at her as he left, and looked back at the other girl. "You look nervous. I'll tell you a secret," She leaned in, smiling. "I'm nervous too," She was trying to make the little girl laugh, and hoped she could befriend her.

Charlie strolled onto the grounds, marveling at the fact that she was finally able to do this. Last year her mother had made sure that she be accompanied to the main offices, for fear that she would get lost or hurt or something. It didn't make much sense, but this was Rose's daughter, she had every right to be overprotective. Charlie looked up at the clouds, wincing at the familiar headache that seemed to come to her when it felt like it was going to rain. She really didn't mind the rain; it was necessary... lie overprotective parents and bossy teachers, but that didn't mean that she had to like it. And so her walk to the main offices was filled with an odd mixture of excitement and annoyance.

She had heard the call for her to go down to the office a bit earlier, and she had been thrilled. Her old roommate had left last year, and she had been crushed. She had not only liked Ginger, but she had felt close to her. They had both loved to draw and had often exchanged pictures as a way of non-verbal communication. Next to Jenna, she had thought of Ginger as her best friend. Jenna... Charlie was definitely looking forward to seeing her. For a brief time, she had actually hoped that Jenna would be her roommate. She probably wouldn't mind staying up and talking for as long as Charlie wanted to...

Walking into the office, the red-head smiled upon feeling the pressure in her head disappear. She hated being in pain, it really was a downer. She looked around, spotting the familiar desks and motivational pictures and other office-ey stuff, but that really wasn't what she saw. She really saw a little girl on a bench and two other girls, one younger, and one around her age. After all, she did have an eye for living things, not stupid little material objects. Charlie fought the urge to coo over t littlest girl. She was just so adorable! That would be rude though... there was no way this little girl was really the age that she looked. After all, she looked around eight or nine; and unless she was some sort of protégée, this simply wasn't possible.

"Hi!" Charlie chirped, her brown eyes sparkling at the thought of meeting this new roommate (and this had to be her new roomate, the other two girls were already talking), "You're Nelia, right? I'm Charlie... well Charlotte if that's the name that they gave you, which I really hope it isn't"

Nelia was sitting there talking to Norson when she heard someone say “Your dog is cute”, she looked to her side to now see a girl with blonde hair sitting next to her. She smiled a little “Nelia says thank you, Norson does like compliments.” She then heard the girl introduce herself “I’m Claire. You can call me CeeCee if you want” she waited to introduce herself as CeeCee said goodbye to the person that brought her. Once CeeCee looked back to her she started talking in a very soft quiet voice “Nelia likes to introduce herself as Nelli, Nelli wants you to meet Norson too” she then moved Norson so the dog was looking to CeeCee. She was wondering if CeeCee will think she is weird just like all the others that have been around her. “You look nervous. I’ll tell you a secret
..I’m nervous too” she smiled when she heard this “Nelli is nervous, people always think Nelli is weird and Nelli is always picked on, that is why she is nervous and scared.”

Nelia looked around her and saw a girl that looked a bit older then CeeCee and herself. The girl had darker hair and pretty eyes, Nelia smiled and wondered if the girl was Charlie but that was soon answered as she came over to them “Hello Claire, I am Liza” she leaned back against the bench clutching Norson, she was now getting a bit nervous, she was sure she was going to have to meet a lot of new people today and that just made her get a bit scared because she knew people would pick on her, it happened wherever she went or stayed.

She then saw someone else walk in, another girl but she had red hair and she was coming right to them.
"Hi! You're Nelia, right? I'm Charlie... well charlotte if that's the name that they gave you, which I really hope it isn't" she heard the girl say as she walked right up to her. Nelia took a few minutes to look over her new roommate “Nelia likes to be called Nelli if that’s okay with Charlie? They called you Charlie when they said who was going to meet Nelli down here. Is Charlie going to show Nelli around? Nelli also would like you to meet Norson” she then looked down to her stuffed dog “Nelli was also told the students where more in charge here then the adults, will Nelli be meeting the students in charge?” she became a bit more talkative because she had so many questions going through her head but truly she was scared at what these girls where going to think of her so the talking was a bit more because of her nervousness.

Claire looked at the little girl who had called herself Nelli, and smiled. “I would never pick on you, Nelli. Wanna be friends?” She asked, smiling brightly. This little girl was very cute, and she liked her a lot already. She couldn’t wait to get to know her better, as Claire usually couldn’t wait to get to know people.

Claire looked up at the girl, and stood out of respect. She took the girls hand, bowing her head slightly. "Hello! I'm Claire. You must be Liza, it's a pleasure to meet you!" She was sure she over did the excitement in her voice and her face instantly showed that she was upset. She looked down at her black shoes, shuffling her feet uncomfortably. "I'm sorry...I'm nervous...sometimes...sometimes I just can't control my voice...I'm sorry..."

Claire looked down sadly, picking up her book bag and suitcase. She looked up at her new guide, then back at the little girl she had been talking to. "I’ll see you later, Nelli. If you need anything, just ask someone to come find me. I won’t let anyone pick on you anymore!’ She promised with a smile. Claire had always had a motherly nature, and this little girl, Nelli, needed her. She would be there for her. Claire looked back at her guide, a tall girl with cold blue eyes. She wasn't sure how she was going to get along with her, but hoped they would get along well.

As she was lead into the hall, she took in a breath, her face going paler than it already was. For an Italian, her skin was pale a porcelain, nearly as pale as her hair was nearly white. Her eyes tried to take everything in, and she was getting nervous and lightheaded. She hadn’t been away from her father for more than a few days since she was born, and Claire was extremely nervous.

“Will I be able to call my father to tell him I’m safe?” She asked Liza, her voice quiet and mouse like. She normally wasn’t this shy, but something about this large, unusual place made Claire very uncomfortable. She didn’t like that she was millions of miles away from her father, and she hated that she wouldn’t be able to see him.

Liza chuckled at all the respect Claire was beaming out towards her. Liza never really cared about things like that, she prefers feeling that she is equal to someone, especially if someone was going to be her roommate. But respect never really hurt anyone.
Liza tilted her head at Claire’s upset reaction. She was unsure of how to respond. “Oh thats alright, it happens to the best of us, doesn’t it.” She literally waved it aside and gave another warm smile. She couldn’t tell the girl to not be nervous, it never helps.
Liza said bye to Nelia as well, even though she had no idea who the little girl was. Liza gave a smile and a friendly nod to Charlie. Claire knew Charlie from being in a few classes together, but they never spoke a whole lot to each other.

Liza started leading Claire into the hall but stopped her a few feet in. Without saying a word Liza took Claire’s bags from her and started walking again.
“I’ll show you to your room first. Maybe you can unpack and settle down before I show you the rest of the school. It’s pretty big but you should get used to it quickly.
Liza was caught up in her duty, so much that she barely noticed Claire’s pressing emotions.
“Will I be able to call my father to tell him I’m safe?” She asked Liza.
Liza opened the door to Claire's room. “Sure, Claire... We have payphones on campus or if you don’t have a cell phone you can use mine.” Liza offered with another warm smile. She was quite nervous as well. She didn’t want to seem over friendly to Claire. She was perhaps trying a little too hard for approval.
Liza put Claire’s bags down by the foot of one of the beds and pulled Her cell phone out of her pocket and offered it to Claire, holding it out. She thought she would leave the room while Claire phoned her father.
Liza didn’t really understand Claire’s need to speak to her father since Liza had no contact with her parents whatsoever. She really didn’t care anymore. Her mother, the one person that should love her no matter what, couldn’t accept her for what she was.

"Hwang, go grab something from the office for me please? Thanks!" a 6th year chirped before running off.

Lisa watched her run away quickly and sighed. At least she said please and thank you. Or else she would've ignored the request. As she started on her path to the office she looked around the campus. I guess it's nice to be back, she thought. She actually really liked the architecture of the three schools. They didn't have that "lazy" or "typical" or "boring" school look. Between the three schools, they were unique, modern, and... what was the word? Ancient? Exotic? Something like that. Like the architecture one could find in Europe. Some may consider it old and outdated, but Lisa was one that considered it as "full of character". The whole campus was also full of plant life and nature. Trees grew everywhere, and she had gotten lost in them on numerous occasions when she was a freshman herself. Even though she would end up lost, she would eventually give up being frustrated and would start admiring the scenery that surrounded her. Finally, she reached the office, but the secretary had just gone to the back to get something.

"Just my luck..." she muttered.

She tapped her fingers on the desk, impatiently waiting for the secretary to come back. Next to the reception desk she noticed two young girls. She didn't recognize either of them. One looked young enough to be 11. But she wouldn't be here if she really was. The older one was dressed in the trademark brown uniform she recognized. Myou.... She sighed. They were probably both in Myou. What a shame. She would've loved to have little freshmen like those two to look after in Kanhuri instead of snobby ones. Though the older one was probably a second year, but still cute enough to be a freshman. Anyways, what caught her attention was that they were both really cute. Especially the one that resembled a child. Was that a stuffed dog she was carrying? Oh, how adorable. She could already picture the older versions of them. They were going to be exceptionally pretty. Curious, she walked over to them.

"Hi there, I'm a 5th year at Kanhuri. My name's Lisa." she greeted. "Are you new to Hillside?" she asked, moreso directed at the younger looking one.

Charlie Delaine

Charlie looked down at the little girl; Nelli, and then looked over at one of the secretaries. She bit her lip and then looked back down. "Uhm... who?" She said, not really thinking of what the other girl was saying."Who's Norson? I'm sorry..." She looked down again (Gee, she really was doing a lot of looking at the floor today), stumbled verbally a bit, and then looked back up at Nelia. "Oh gee, uhm, well I'm sorry for what I'm doing so far. I guess I'm just not quite used to being back in school yet." She smiled to the younger girl "I guess I'm a bit of a hermit when I'm home for the summer. As for your question, as far as the teachers know, they are in charge." She winked at Nelia conspiratorially. "But if you have any questions, you should probably go to one of the older students. If you have any easy questions, you can come to me if you want."

Charlie took a breath, realizing that she had just rambled a bit. She usually did that, but she usually ended up saying something really horrid or insensitive. Not knowing who Norson was wasn't all that terrible, unless... oh. She didn't even give the girl a chance to answer before talking again. "Wait a minute, before you answer. Is Norson your dog? I probably should have known before because this is an all girl's school, but I wasn't thinking. If he is... well.." She paused for a moment and looked down at the stuffed dog. "Hi!" She chirped. She wasn't about to be put off by the fact that she was talking to an inanimate object. At least he looked like a dog.

Shortly after she had finished talking (finally!), another girl walked up to the pair. The first thing that Charlie noticed about her was her eyes. They were just so... ordinary. And ordinary things were sometimes even prettier then unique things. Because there was never really a such thing as ordinary... not in Charlie's eyes. Normal eyes were the type to calm you down when you were scared and upset. "Uhm, Hi," She answered, grinning up at the girl. "I'm actually a second year, and my name is Charlie" she quickly glanced down at Nelia. "This is Nelli, my new roommate," she added happily, hoping that Nelli didn't mind her speaking for the smaller girl.

Nelia looked to CeeCee when she said “I would never pick on you, Nelli. Wanna be friends?” she smiled “Nelli would love to be friends with CeeCee” she then watched as CeeCee got talking with Liza. Nelia looked down to Norson “Nelli thinks it won’t be too bad here Norson” she then heard CeeCee "I’ll see you later, Nelli. If you need anything, just ask someone to come find me. I won’t let anyone pick on you anymore!’ she waved Norson’s paw to CeeCee and Liza as they walked off “Nelli says bye and thank you”.

She then looked to Charlie she heard the girl start rambling, sorta like she did in a way ”Who’s Norson? I’m sorry
” she tilted her head and watched as Charlie looked down to her feet, wondering why she was sorry but before she could say anything she heard Charlie start talking again . "Oh gee, uhm, well I'm sorry for what I'm doing so far. I guess I'm just not quite used to being back in school yet. I guess I'm a bit of a hermit when I'm home for the summer. As for your question, as far as the teachers know, they are in charge.” She saw the wink from Charlie and smiled though she was wondering when she would be able to say something “But if you have any questions, you should probably go to one of the older students. If you have any easy questions, you can come to me if you want."

Nelia thought she was finally going to be able to answer Charlie’s first question “Nelli
” but before she could continue "Wait a minute, before you answer. Is Norson your dog? I probably should have known before because this is an all girl's school, but I wasn't thinking. If he is... well.."[b] she nodded a smiled “Yes Norson is Nelli’s dog, he is with Nelli at all times” she watched as Charlie looked down to Norson "Hi!" she heard Charlie say to Norson and she made Norson wave a paw to Charlie. “Nelli is sorry Charlie got confused she knows she can be a bit weird, that’s what everyone says about Nelli”.
Nelli then saw an older girl come up to Charlie and her and she smiled to the girl "Hi there, I'm a 5th year at Kanhuri. My name's Lisa. Are you new to Hillside?" she looked to Lisa and saw how she looked to her more then Charlie, she let Charlie talk first and when Charlie introduced her she smiled “yes Nelia likes to be called Nelli and this is Norson” she actually pointed to the dog “is Lisa one of the students in charge? Nelli would like to know who the students in charge are so that she can know this” she tilted her head a bit and smiled.

She smiled at the older one as she introduced herself. So, she was a second year after all. She analyzed her quickly before replying. A ginger, with blue eyes and freckles. She hadn't seen much of those around. She found it really refreshing. Also, Lisa just loved coloured eyes. Being born as an Asian, she had ordinary brown coloured eyes. Of course she wouldn't change them, but she was fascinated whenever she saw eyes of different colours. To her they were... interesting. She found Jade's to be the prettiest of them all, an emerald green that matched those of the actually stone. She stopped her thoughts about Jade and smiled at Charlie.

"Well, nice to meet you Charlie. Sorry, you're cute enough to be a freshman!" she exclaimed.

As Charlie introduced the younger one, her eyes turned to "Nelli". "yes Nelia likes to be called Nelli and this is Norson," the girl said. Lisa looked puzzled for a moment before figuring out she was talking in third person. Thank goodness Charlie introduced her already or she would've asked who Nelia was.

"Nice to meet you, Nelli, and nice to meet you too, Norson," she greeted cheerfully.

Lisa had resist the tempting urge to just pull all three of them into a hug. They were sooooooooooo cute! "is Lisa one of the students in charge? Nelli would like to know who the students in charge are so that she can know this."

"No," she had to stop herself from referring to herself as "Lisa","....I am not one of the presidents, or the Étoile, but I'm pretty old, so I can help you whenever you need it okay?"

The way she tilted her head and everything was just too adorable. She wouldn't jump the new girl... yet. Sooner or later she knew she'd get her chance. Charlie and Nelia were both cute, but she found Nelia to be just... so adorable. She just wanted to endlessly tease her and see her reactions. Finally she saw the secretary come back. She's gone when I need her, and back when I want to get to know the new kids. Great. She sighed and turned to the secretary, asking her for the items that the 6th year wanted. Once the secretary gave them to her she said thank you and turned back to Charlie and Nelia.

"Well, I'll see you around okay? I have to get ready for the freshmen's welcome assembly. Ah here, do you two have cell phones?" She scribbled her number on a piece of paper really quickly. "Text or call me. Promise? I'd love to see you two again. Bye!" With that Lisa walked out of the office and headed back to the 6th year to give her the things she wanted.

"Bullshit." Jade hissed as she leaned back in her chair in front Principal Dorsin's desk. She gave the woman a cocky grin and kicked her leather boots up on her desk, hooking the heel on the edge. She wiped a spot of blood from her lip and under her nose. "She attacked me." She said, emerald green eyes going wide and innocent as she pointed one finger to the girl in the chair next to her. "Not my fault she got her ass kicked." She shrugged. "Anyway, it was self defense." The girl had a fat lip, two black eyes, a bloody nose, a broken wrist, and several bruises.

The principal plopped down in her chair and rubbed her temples tiredly. They'd been arguing for the last hour and a half. Jade grinned wickedly. She could tell Mrs. Dorsin was getting tired. "Language Miss Evers. It's not going to help you to swear like that. Now. One more time." The woman said, leaning forward, holding Jade's challenging emerald gaze. "Tell me how I'm supposed to believe a grade A student like Sally, here, attacked a slacking, rebellious girl like you, and not the other way around?" She said as she pushed Jade's feet to the ground once more. "Feet off my desk please."

Jade pouted and leaned forward, placing one hand on her desk. "Look, we've been in here, arguing for an hour and a half, and you've asked me the same question over and over again and I've said the same thing. Jealousy. Little Miss Sally here, is too uptight." Jade shrugged cooly. "Anyway, my story's not going to change, Sally clearly isn't going to defend herself, and you can't punish me because you think I did something wrong." She stood. "Are we done here? Sally should probably get to the nurse." Jade knew why Sally wasn't defending herself. She was afraid of another ass-kicking.

Mrs. Dorsin groaned. "Very well. Miss Evers, you are to stay on school grounds for a week, and Miss Sally, you are suspended for three. Don't let it happen again girls. This goes on your permanent record."

"Thanks." Jade said, rolling her eyes and leaving the room. She stood outside the door for a second, pouncing on Sally when she came out. "Next time, think twice before you spread rumors." She said, giving the girl a rumple of the hair and sauntering off. Out in the office, Jade spotted a familiar face and grinned. Lisa, talking to a new girl she didn't recognize, and Charlie, a second year she'd seen around. As she watched, Lisa turned and headed off down the hall and Jade smiled.

She gave Charlie and the new girl a wave and a "Hey Charlie and friend" on her way out, and followed Lisa down the hall. When they stopped, Jade smiled and slipped up silently behind her friend, covering her eyes with her hands. "Guess who?" She whispered.

"Well, nice to meet you Charlie. Sorry, you're cute enough to be a freshman!" At this, Charlie smiled at the sixth year, not at all offended. She was proud to look young, and chances are she would love it when she was older. However, she didn't tell Lisa this. It wouldn't really be worth it considering that another exchange, between Nelli and Lisa, was going on around her.

"Yes Nelia likes to be called Nelli and this is Norson"

"Nice to meet you, Nelli, and nice to meet you too, Norson"

"Is Lisa one of the students in charge? Nelli would like to know who the students in charge are so that she can know this." Although it had nothing to do with her, Charlie actually had to remember not to answer this one.

"No. Lisa....I am not one of the presidents, or the Étoile, but I'm pretty old, so I can help you whenever you need it okay?" A pause. "Well, I'll see you around okay? I have to get ready for the freshmen's welcome assembly. Ah here, do you two have cell phones?" Charlie looked up at the older girl, wanting to mention that she didn't have a cell phone. they were way too expensive. Plus the school had land lines, so if she had an emergency she could just use them. However, just was she was about to say something when Lisa gave them both her number and left leaving Nelli and Charlie alone with the secretary.

Charlie smiled down at the younger girl, her expression holding just a bit of laughter; both at the fact that she would have to go all the way down to the offices tonight just to make a call and just... well... today had been beyond great so far. Who wouldn't be in a good mood? "So would you happen to have a cellular?" She asked raising an eyebrow. She then noticed Jade greeting her. "Hey Jade!" She replied, turning back to Nelli right afterwards "Because you really don't look like you'd be old enough for your mum and dad to give you one, but I might be wrong. Some people have more modern families then others I guess." She looked down at Norson for a moment, being that he was one of the reasons that Nelli looked so young to her. Again... for a stuffed animal he was really adorable. It unnerved Charlie in an odd way. When she had been younger, her stuffed animals had been very ugly actually. She still carried around one or two (Or five...) of them with her wherever she slept. In fact, right now her little blond kitten Muffin, was sitting in her suitcase, waiting to be unpacked.

Nelia smiled to Lisa, she liked the older girl so far, Lisa seemed nice to her and didn’t pick on her because of her differences which always made her smile. She watched the confused look on Lisa’s face after she introduced herself, everyone always got mixed up when she talked and usually asked her a bunch of questions, but it didn’t bother her.

“Nice to meet you, Nelli, and nice to meet you too, Norson”

She smiled and waved Norson’s paw at Lisa then heard the older girl answer her question “No
I am not one of the presidents, or the Etoile, but I’m pretty old, so I can help you whenever you need it okay?” she nodded and smiled softly now wondering when she could meet the Etoile and the Presidents but she decided not to ask and figured she would find out later.

Nelia watched as Lisa went back to the secretary at the office but soon came back holding some things in her arms “Well, I’ll see you around okay? I have to get ready for the freshmen’s welcome assembly. Ah here do you two have cell phones?” she was about to answer when she saw Lisa write down her number and hand it to them and then said quickly before she walked off “Text or call me. Promise? I’d love to see you two again. Bye!” She sorta frowned because but waves to Lisa as she walked off. She didn’t have a cell phone because social services thought she was way to young to have one and also they didn’t really think she needed one.

“Hey Charlie and friend” she turned her head to see where the voice came from and found an older girl with whitish blonde hair and what looked like blood? On her face coming out of the office. Nelia wasn’t sure if she wanted to know who that girl was and was glad to see the girl walked off and didn’t stay to socialize. She heard Charlie say “Hey Jade” to the girl that walked off and was glad she at least knew the girls name now.

She then finally remembered Charlie asked her something before Jade walked by "So would you happen to have a cellular?" and then she heard "Because you really don't look like you'd be old enough for your mum and dad to give you one, but I might be wrong. Some people have more modern families then others I guess." That sorta made her go quiet for a few minutes and she started to think of her mom and dad and brother, how she would never get to see them again. She made a simple statement, one that held a lot of emotion to her words.

“Nelli has no family no more since she was six. So she doesn’t have a cell phone. All Nelli has now is Norson” she then looked down to Norson and held him close not saying anything more to that.

“Nelli has no family no more since she was six. So she doesn’t have a cell phone. All Nelli has now is Norson”

Complete silence. Really, Charlie wasn't even sure that she could hear the clock on the wall, or the steady beet of her own heart anymore. Nothing could be any louder than the sound of sadness. That sound, although silent, overpowered everything else that Charlie could possibly hear anymore. The sound of a little girl saying that she had no family... that was absolutely deafening. It took a brief moment for Charlie to get over that; a few moments for her to begin hearing again. She knew that it was silly, and that she had no reason to be so upset over this. If anything, she should just go on like nothing had just happened. Maybe she should say sorry... but nothing else. And she knew this.

Unfortunately, Charlie's mouth seemed to be way too stupid to really ever listen to her brain. "I-I'm sorry," she said quickly, taking a small step forward. "I shouldn't have made the assumption that you..." She paused and bit down on her lip. "...Had parents," she finished, "I mean, some people's parents are divorced and some aren't with us anymore, and sometimes saying 'Mum and Dad' is a bit insensitive because they may have two mums or two dads or only one parent." She wrung her hands, knowing that she was rambling, yet not quite able to stop. She had probably hurt Nelli's feelings and she couldn't shut her mouth until she had made it better... at least in her own mind. "Or no parents. I guess what I'm trying to say is that making assumptions is a bit dumb of me. I really shouldn't, but there are some assumptions that I just can't help but make. I hope that I didn't hurt your feelings, and I'm sorry if I did." Charlie looked down at Nelli and smiled faintly. "Also," she said, "If you need to ever make any calls, every common room has phones. And since almost everyone has a cell, they're almost always free."

"Attention all Student Council Presidents and the Etoile please make your way to the student council meeting room. Thank you thats all" was heard over the intercom of all three schools.

Skye could hear the frustration in Ana’s voice but Skye just really wasn’t in the mood to be around others "I'm here because you're like my sister and I hate seeing you like this. But, if you really want to left alone fine. i have to get ready anyway." She looked to see Ana get up and Skye then brought her violin back up and started to play a soft tune.

"You know, hiding from your problems doesn't make them go away” she pretended she didn’t hear Ana say that, she probably heard that everyday from Ana and knew her friend cared dearly for her but she just felt Ana didn’t understand. “When you feel better and you want to talk, let me know. I’m still here for you, you know” as she heard Ana walk away she thought of the last thing she said “When you feel better
” . She stopped playing as she thought of this “yeah like I am ever going to feel better
” she said out loud knowing no one could hear her.

Her mind went back to Carly as she picked up her violin and started playing a soft lullaby that she used to play for Carly all the time. She was lost in the music when she heard a noise right out in front of the cave. “Ana I told you to leave me be
” at first she thought it was Ana coming again to try to get her to come to the assembly that she was suppose to run
but the movement didn’t sound like Ana.

She put her violin down then peaked out of the cave. Skye nearly passed out when she saw the girl “Carly
” she didn’t mean to say that out loud. She knew the girl in front of her could not be Carly but the girl really did look like Carly. The long wavy brown hair, the pale skin
the eyes. It was the eyes that really caught Skye’s attention. She also noticed the girl wearing shorts and a tank top with a sweater hanging a bit off her shoulder. She didn’t say anything at first, she just looked at the girl before she came out of the cave and standing in front of the girl.

The girl was a bit shorter then Skye but that did not bother Skye at all, she actually preferred girls being shorter then her. Her hair was a bit messy, it was left down so it was laying in wavy mess against her back, some was laying over her right shoulder. She looked down at the girl with her deep intense blue eyes “Who are you?” was all she said. She has never seen this girl before, she would have known if she has. If one of her friends saw her right now they would notice that there was a sparkle to her eyes that used to be there when Carly was alive but diminished after the accident.

Nelia more felt the silence of Charlie then anything after she said what she said. She stood there awkwardly as the silence went on but a few minutes later she heard “I-I’m sorry” she then looked to Charlie. She really didn’t understand why people said sorry, its not like it was their fault for her family’s death, she was ready to say something but wasn’t able to get a word in because Charlie stepped towards her and started talking again.

"I shouldn't have made the assumption that you....Had parents, I mean, some people's parents are divorced and some aren't with us anymore, and sometimes saying 'Mum and Dad' is a bit insensitive because they may have two mums or two dads or only one parent." she looked to Charlie, she wanted to say it was okay that she was used to it but she had a feeling Charlie wasn’t done.

"Or no parents. I guess what I'm trying to say is that making assumptions is a bit dumb of me. I really shouldn't, but there are some assumptions that I just can't help but make. I hope that I didn't hurt your feelings, and I'm sorry if I did." she saw Charlie look down at her and so the small smile "Also,"If you need to ever make any calls, every common room has phones. And since almost everyone has a cell, they're almost always free."

Nelia smiled to Charlie giving a few seconds just to make sure the other girl was done talking “Charlie didn’t hurt Nelli’s feelings at all, she is used to people making assumptions that she still has parents. You not need to worry about Nelli, she has a strong heart” she gave a small smile again then looked down to Norson “Norson here always is with Nelli and she knows he will never leave her, so she will never truly be alone. I don’t have anyone to call
” she then remembered Lisa gave her a number “well Nelli now has Lisa to call but she isn’t sure she will
”

Nelia then looked up when she heard doors opening and saw an older girl walk in. The girl was wearing the St. Myou’s uniform and long socks. She thought the girl was very pretty and couldn’t help but blush just a little at this thought.

She then heard the announcement over the speakers that snapped her out of her thoughts "Attention all Student Council Presidents and the Etoile please make your way to the student council meeting room. Thank you thats all". She looked to Charlie “Nelli would like to know who the girl is that just walked through the doors
.also she would like to know what the Etolie is”.

“Charlie didn’t hurt Nelli’s feelings at all, she is used to people making assumptions that she still has parents. You not need to worry about Nelli, she has a strong heart” Charlie smiled at that. This time, it wasn't a half-smile, or a grin, it was a genuine smile. She was aware that she had been talking way too much for Nelli to really say much, but she couldn't help it. She loved talking, and was probably going to spend her last days on earth talking. It was just... fun.

“Norson here always is with Nelli and she knows he will never leave her, so she will never truly be alone. I don’t have anyone to call
well Nelli now has Lisa to call but she isn’t sure she will
”

Charlie wanted to say that she should. She wanted to say that she was going to call Lisa too, but she probably wouldn't. She wasn't too keen on using the main phones. It still made her feel uncomfortable. Mainly because everyone could hear what she was saying. So she didn't say what she wanted to. After all, Charlie wasn't a fan of lying, especially not to anyone as sweet as Nelli. She was going to say that she wasn't going to call either, but then a voice was heard over the speakers, interrupting her. "Attention all Student Council Presidents and the Étoile please make your way to the student council meeting room. Thank you that's all" The announcement didn't phase her at all. Charlie wasn't a president or Étoile, so it quite frankly didn't matter to her.

However, it did seem to matter, if just the slightest bit, to Nelia. “Nelli would like to know who the girl is that just walked through the doors
.also she would like to know what the Étoile is”. Charlie looked towards the door. She hadn't even noticed Jayma walk in.

"Oh, that's Jayma Lawrence... I don't really know her too well, but I think she's in her third year here. Though she may be in her fourth. And the Étoile-" Charlie stopped talking and jumped, feeling a pair of arms around her. She turned around, startled and smiled. Jenna... she still looked the same. Her smile turned into something a bit more than a smile. Her whole face lit up. "J-" She began. However, after a quick hello and goodbye, Jenna was gone. The smile still stayed on Charlie's face though. Even seeing the other girl put her in a good mood.

Charlie turned back to Nelli, unaware of the goofy, dreamy look that was on her face. "Uhm... you wanted to know who the Étoile was, right? Well, she's pretty much the head of everything. She represents all of the schools." After letting Nelli know about that, Charlie's thoughts immediately turned back to Jenna. When she saw her next, she had a drawing for her...

Nelia looked over to the girl when Charlie said "Oh, that's Jayma Lawrence... I don't really know her too well, but I think she's in her third year here. Though she may be in her fourth. And the Étoile-" she turned to Charlie when the girl stopped mid sentence. She saw a girl wrap her arms around Charlie then walk off. She smiled to Charlie seeing the look in her new friends face “Nelli would like to know who that girl is, Charlie seems to be very close to her” she let out a small giggle. She then heard Charlie go on "Uhm... you wanted to know who the Étoile was, right? Well, she's pretty much the head of everything. She represents all of the schools."

Nelli thought about this for a few minutes, she wondered if she was going to be able to meet the Etoile or not today. She shrugged then looked to Charlie “Nelli was wondering if Charlie could show Nelli around the school and show her the room she will be staying in” she said and smiled as she held Norson close, reaching down to pick up her bags. “Also will Nelli be able to pick up her uniform? She was told in her letter that she be picking them up when she got here” she didn’t mind that she was going to have to wear a uniform, she thought it would be good because then she probably won’t be making a mess of the little clothes she had. She couldn’t wait to see her room and decorate her side, she smiled just at the thought of this.

Skye couldn’t help but smirk as she saw Cora’s reaction to her. It made her feel good inside, a feeling she hasn’t felt in awhile. “I
I um
You
pretty?” she heard Cora say and couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle at the girls nervousness “hun no need to be so nervous around me” she said then looked behind her, reaching into the cave and grabbed her violin and putting it back into its case.

Her arm went around Cora’s shoulder “Well lets head to the school and get you situated, what year are you hun?” she said as she started walking with Cora. She could not believe how much the girl looked like Carly. With her violin case on her back she reached in her pocket for her phone and texted Ana

“Im on my way- S”

As they got to the school she went to the office where she saw a younger girl, that must be a new first year. She then saw Charlie a second year student “Good morning Charlie and who is this girl” she asked pointing to the younger girl. She then went to the secretary and asked for the room number for Cora and she was given a key which she gave to Cora “I will show you your room if you would like, your in the same dorm hall as I am”.

“Nelli was wondering if Charlie could show Nelli around the school and show her the room she will be staying in. Also will Nelli be able to pick up her uniform? She was told in her letter that she be picking them up when she got here” Charlie's focused a bit more on Nelia, remembering that she was supposed to be leading her around. There would be time for thinking about Jenna and home and everything else later. The only problem was that she wasn't; sure what the answers to Nelli's questions were exactly.

"Alright.." Charlie began hesitantly, "I'm not really all that sure where you should go to get your uniform, but we can worry about that in just a minute. As for showing you your room," she was extremely excited about this part; Charlie loved to set up her bed and put away her clothing, and really just look at a bed room that was clean for the first time in months, "do you want to see the rest of the campus first or see your room first?" She looked down at Nelli's bags and smiled at her own oblivion. "Uhm, actually, it would probably be a good idea to go to our room first, wouldn't it?" She swiftly turned to the one secretary that was in the office. "Would you by any chance know where I can pick up Nelia Emberson's uniform?" She asked, wailing for an answer from both the secretary and from Nelli. She just hoped that the younger girl wouldn't think that she was being ignored as a lot of people did when they were speaking with Charlie.
