Description

Pete Mahony

Image

And whether you're an honest man, or whether you're a thief, depends on whose solicitor has given me my brief.

The Basics

Full Name: Peter Leonard Mahony
Age: Nineteen
Birthdate: August 19
Gender: Male
Godly Parent: Hermes

Personality

Favorites
Color: Purple
Food: Pepperoni pizza
Drink: Mt. Dew
Music: He likes classic rock, you know; The Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Who...Bands like that.

One skill Peter has mastered seems to be self-preservation. He often uses his quick wit to get himself out of trouble, and trust me, he's always in some shape or form of trouble. He's one of those people that, annoyingly enough, can confuse people with his words; enough so that they'll forget why they were mad at him in the first place. He's the type to twist people's words around just subtlety enough that it is both believable and can royally piss someone off. But he's not all bad, he has a genuinely good sense of humor and practices an almost-healthy level of humility. Yes, he knows where his talents lie and exactly what he's good at...But he doesn't flaunt them. Not at all. No, he doesn't flaunt his physical abilities simple because he would much rather be known for his cunning wit and charm. His mother worked for years to beat his father's arrogance out of him, because while having a thief for a son was hard; a son that did nothing but brag about himself was worse, in her opinion.

Similarites to Their Godly Parent: He's a fast thinker, always using his wit and charm to get himself out of trouble, he's always getting himself into trouble, normally by stealing goats or something. Impractical, but fun...He's a little on the dramatic side, a bit over-the-top in the way he carries on, and he can't go five seconds without telling a lie, it seems.

History

First Memory: Peter's first memory is playing in his backyard with his mother and their dog, mommy turned her back and the dog ended up in a hole. Pete insisted that he hadn't pushed the beloved family pet. He had indeed pushed the mutt.

Relationship with Mortal Parent: Peter's relationship with his mother is a strained one, at best. They're both strong-willed people and she's more than willing to beat him into submission. They don't understand each-other...So they stopped trying.

It was just another party for Vivian Mahony; friends, booze, fun, more booze. She wasn't sure what inspired her to sleep with this guy who was making passes at her all night; probably a mix of her being drunk, and him having a way with words. Whatever it truly was, though, she found herself alone and missing her favorite necklace that she'd been sure was around her neck the night before. For a time, she just brushed it off as nothing, though, none of the things he'd said could possibly be true. It was a matter of years, though, that she realized it simply had to be. There was no way a three-year-old could be that smart, that witty, that good at lying. But, still, she chose to keep the fact from her son, Peter, until he was much older...Mostly because she still had her doubts. Those doubts seemed to be cleared up when she realized that her son learned new skills faster than he ever should, when he proved to be extremely athletic, as well as intelligent. It shouldn't have shocked her; but it did. She told Peter when he was ten, and he took it surprisingly well. If anything, it explained quite a bit to him; why he'd always been different and had never exactly...Made sense to other people. He was sent off to Olympus Academy after two occurrences: first...He royally pissed off his mother by somehow both stealing twenty goats and convincing the farmer to let the boy keep them. And, second, she realized that he needed to be around other like him, so he wouldn't feel like a complete and total freak. And so here he is.

Peter Mahony

Just another day. That was exactly on Mr. Mahony's mind as he walked on his way to his classes. It was just another day, not unlike any other. The birds were singing, the sun was shining, his fellow classmates were running around like idiots screaming at the top of their lungs. A small, smug smile appeared on his face at this very thought. Oh my...Sometimes I feel as though I am so much smarter than all of these people... But, as it were, it remained just that: a thought. Sure, it was indeed a thought that brought a certain confident spring to his step, but it was still a simple thought. Rolling his neck as he turned a corner, he realized that he was in a bit of a hurry...It wasn't as though he was going to be late to class. He shook his head ever-so-slightly, blaming it on his father, and wondering to himself if he could rock a pair of those fancy kicks. The thought in and of itself was almost enough to make him laugh hysterically and look like a fool. Almost.

He sighed as he entered the Battle Strategy practice area. His absolute least favorite class. He crossed his arms and chuckled to himself when he saw Jules. He contemplated stopping her, you know- so she wouldn't humiliate herself- but he decided that watching her sit there and make a fool of herself was a lot more fun. After a moment of that, he walked up behind Jules and tightly tapped her shoulder, he didn't want to scare her (well, he did, but he decided that would be a bad idea), but her certainly wanted his presence to be known. So a tap on the shoulder and a simple, "I certainly hope that you're actually listening to something good, or I may have to disassociate myself with you all together, and I know how that would break your heart." It was, of course, simple teasing. Sure, he could've started off his first conversation of the day in many ways; but he'd save the complexities for later. As for the moment, he was more than willing to share a semi-normal conversation with a sorta-kinda friend. After all, wasn't that the highlight of every high school experience?

Danielle River

Danielle walked along the edge of the lake, kicking stones into the deep abyss. It was a kind of day you see in fairy tales, where the sun is shining and the birds are singing. Danielle picked up a stone and threw it into the lake. It skimmed once...twice…and landed in the water. She looked at her wrist, where a silver watch was fastened. She cursed under her breath, slung her bag over her shoulder and ran towards the main area, feet digging into the dry ground and brown hair flying back in the wind.

She stopped in her tracks and bent over, catching her breath. Her stomach rumbled and she decided to give into temptation. So what if she was a few minutes late to class? She sat down on the nearby bench and slipped her bag off her back, unzipping it and reaching her hand in. She ruffled around, until her hand finally caught something. With a triumphant smile, she took the croissant out of her bag and ate it. She looked at her watch again. Late, yet still people were walking around and talking. “Hey!” she called over to someone. “Can I see your watch?” The boy shrugged, walked over to her and showed her his watch. Her own watch was five minutes late. “Uh, thanks,” she muttered to the boy, as he walked off. She reset her own watch and stood up. She wasn't in a rush after all. She still had three minutes to get to class. Plenty of time.

She wiped her mouth with her arm and slung her bag over her shoulder yet again. She walked to the Battle Strategies Area. Before she got there, she hid her bag in a clump of bushes. Even though there was nothing of extreme value in it, you could never be too careful with all the Hermes kids running around. When she arrived, only two people were already there, Jules and Peter. She didn't know them extremely well, but she'd seen them around enough to know their names. “Hi,” she said with a slight nod, to show she wasn't a complete moron. She walked into the area and stood there, waiting, hands in her pockets.

Everlie McCallister

For a while, all was peaceful; all was calm and quiet. But that silence was soon broken by a large splash. Water cut through the air like shards of glass, before falling on Everlie. The girl flinched at the cold and her eyes snapped shut out of reflex. Upon reopening them, Everlie sought out the cause of the splash. Her amber coloured eyes quickly caught sight of Chloe Huntington.

A small smile graced Everlie's lips as she looked at the girl "It's alright Chloe. I'm...fine, just a bit wet." Her smile turned to a smirk. "Besides, I can't exactly hold it against you, can I? You're a daughter of Poseidon. You spend so much time in the water, I'm surprised you haven't grown gills and a tail. I might just have to start calling you Mermaid Girl from now on." Her words were teasing, and the glint in her eyes was mischievous.

Juliette Halliwell

As the song played on, Jules couldn't help but start dancing in place as she listened. Her eyes were closed, as they always were when she listened to music. Break out! Break out as we escape through the window! Head for the car and never look back! Singing, singing! Break out! Break out! Our time has come and we've got these big city dreams! Alex Gaskarth's voice flooded her senses as the song came to an instrumental solo.

When another voice broke through to her mind, Jules jumped and spun around. "Nyahaha!" Upon seeing who stood before her, Jules smiled and pulled out her earbuds. "Of course I'm listening to good music. I'm a daughter of Apollo. Bad taste in music would bring shame to me and my father! No need to shun me." she held up her hands and a chuckle Rose from her throat. "Did you doubt my musical tastes Peter?"

A moment later her dark brown eyes were drawn to yet another voice. It was Danni. A daughter of Ares. "Heu Danni!" she smiled. The girl was cool, and seemed like she was fun. She also seemed like a lethal weapon when she fought. Of course, with her parentage, it was obvious why.

Peter

Peter chuckled at Jules's reaction to seeing him, "Aww, Jules, baby, you know I don't doubt you!" He winked at the girl and that big, almost goofy, grin found it's way to his face, "Questioning your taste in music was just the first thing I could think of when I saw you because I'm just an ass like that." He shrugged, his eyes gravitating towards the sky as he did so, "You can blame my father for that one." He reached over and snatched the girl's iPod from her, just to examine the music she'd been so enthralled in. Jules should be used to this, by now, though. After all; it happened often enough. An almost smug smile tugged at the corners of Pete's lips, "Oh, come on! Are you serious? All Time Low? I mean, sure, they aren't bad, but...But when am I gonna catch you listening to The Beatles or Queen?"

He glanced Danni's way when he heard her voice and offered a curt, but not impolite, nod and a simple, "Hello." Before he started snooping through Jules's iPod, though the girl could extremely easily snatch it back from him, he wasn't actually trying to piss her off- he was just being a pain, as per usual with Jules.

Alexander

Alex is late for class. His own class. He hasn't been late for class since he was eighteen! He'd spent the night off-campus, with a woman from the nearby town who he'd been on a couple of dates with. It had been going well, until the early hours of the morning, anyway; he'd royally screwed it up by visibly cringing when she'd mentioned celebrating their one-week anniversary. He'd spent the rest of the night on her sofa, and then left before she woke up.

There's no time for him to change his date clothes before class, so he'll just have to show up in a shirt and suit jacket - tell the kids he was at an early meeting, or something. It'll make a change from his usual grass-stained jeans and t-shirt, at least. And he'll have to put on armour for the lesson, anyway.

Lukas and Clover are still hanging about the courtyard, engaged in a bit of first-base. It's their anniversary, isn't it? Clover had mentioned it the other day, while she'd been helping him clear everything away after class. Bah! The very last thing he'd wanted to be reminded of right now is an anniversary! "Lukas! Clover! You know Mr. Keating will have you for breakfast if you're not in his classroom five minutes ago!" But he turns to them again, when he's a little ways away, "And Happy Anniversary! Many more!"

Jules, Danielle and Peter are already waiting for him when e arrives in the Battle Strategy area, and he claps his hands together to gain their attention. "Good morning, kids. How are we feeling, today?"

_____________________________________________________
Tristan

Tristan's running late for Battle Strategy class, and unfortunately the quickest route from his bedroom to the Strategy Area takes him straight past the little group huddled together on the grass. He can hear William putting the moves on Nina. Gods, that's cheesy, he thinks, he sounds like a teen romance novel. Nina isn't exactly his best friend - she's kind of a snore, really - but he kinda hopes that she's smart enough to tell him where to get off...she'd have to be brain-dead not to notice William's less-than-subtle appraisal of Portia's ass, and even more so to ignore his relationship with Portia; everyone knows about them...they're an open secret. Portia is the closest thing which William has has had to a girlfriend since starting at the Academy, and it would serve him right if she got fed up of him. That would put William in his place, for a little while at least.

Ava and Arissa are with them, though, so he can't really walk past without acknowledging them. "Hi." he gives them a quick wave, then thinks of an excuse to hurry off, "I gotta get to class, see you there."

Arissa Adia

After Ava left them in a hurry, Arissa soon left not a second later. Seeing that the two where absorbed in their conversation, she finally decided to go to Mr. Cadwell's class. She knew she won't be late that much, seeing as the bell had only rung but she decided to speed up walking. Her initial plan was to skip class, for the very first time actually. She rather had a bad start this day and she don't think she can keep her I'm a good child aura for today. But since Mr. Cadwell is her favorite teacher, she might as well try her hardest not to blemish her perfect attendance on his class.

"Good morning, kids. How are we feeling, today?" She heard him say and Arissa immediately hastened her steps. She opened the door and quickly entered. "I'm sorry Mr. Cadwell, I was temporarily detained," she mustered in a sweet voice looking apologetically at the teacher.

She saw Danielle, Peter and Juliette and almost let out an audible groan. Just her luck, the Academy's well-known liar in her morning class. She paused at the door for a few moments before deciding that she looked an idiot longer than she would like, went inside and took a seat near the window. She then stared at Mr. Cadwell's handsome face expectantly and eagerly waited for his lesson.

Nissa Claire Summers

One thing you can always be sure with Nissa Claire Summers is that she is a spontaneous person. She always have new activities planned for every single day. It wasn't like she hated monotony but she figured if you can do something different, something new, why not try it? Such is the case for this early morning. As a child of Athena, one thing she prided of is her ability to shift into an owl. Not only did she like the feeling of flying, soaring into the vast sky, Nissa also deeply appreciates being able to see the world in another perspective. This one is from a bird's eye view, literally.

She flew around the perimeters of the Academy for an hour before she finally tested herself if she can go farther. She never tried it before. Not really seeing a reason to but since she had a shitty weekend she thought it may help with her current bad mood. And she was thankful that she did, flying far away and seeing the world beyond the Academy was the most wonderful and exhilarating thing she experienced. She was able to see the large expanse of water which deeply hides Olympus from the normal human beings and even the dense forest that lies beyond it.

She flew across the ocean and into the forest before finally settling on a very tall tree. Before she knew it, time has gone by rather swiftly and she noticed that it was already time for the morning classes. Only then did she decided to leave and fly back to the Academy, though her class wasn't later this day.

Everlie McCallister

Everlie chuckled at the girls ramblings. Chloe never seemed like the overly apologetic types. This only happened on special occasions. "It's fine Chloe. Really...I'm just a little...soaked." An amused smile fell to her lips. "It's fine. No need to worry about it." She put her journal away and started shaking off the water that had fallen on her. Yes, she was almost soaked completely, but it was nothing that couldnt be fixed.

No sooner had the words left her lips when the girl ran off. Laughing a little to herself, Everlie took to drying out her hair with the towel Chloe had passed her. When her hair was as dry as she could get it, she set to work on her still dripping clothes, waiting for the girl's return. When Chloe got back and told Everlie that she'd told Keating why they'd probably be late, Everlie nodded with a smile. "At least he knows why we'll be a bit detained." Honestly, Everlie liked Keating's class, even if the instructor did terrify her sometimes.

Juliette Halliwell

Juliette smiled at her two classmates before a deep voice caused her to turn around. Ther stood Mr. Cadwell, looking...kinda wrecked. "Rough night Teach?" she flashed him a smirk. His clothes were wrinkled, his hair was a mess, and he just looked like he was stressed or hadn't really slept. When the doors opened again, Jules leaned out to see who had arrived. She saw Arissa and her smile faded a bit. It wasnt that she hated the girl....much....it was just that sometimes she got a bit annoying and self-righteous. And then there was her obvious attraction to their teacher. It just seemed kinda creepy with them being half-siblings and all.

Running one hand through her hair, Jules looked between her classmates and their teacher. "So, what are we doing today, if I may ask?" She questioned, leaning down to put her iPod back in her bag. "I would hope it involves a bit of an explanation as to..." Jules motioned upwards Alexander with a nod of her head. Taking out her water bottle she unscrewed the lid and took a drink. In this class, you had to stay hydrated or else you would fall and someone would end up hitting you with a stick.

(again...kinda short. Doing this in my third hour. If I missed mentioning people...sorry.)

Portia

Portia's smirk falls as soon as she's out of view of Ava and the rest, and she raised a hand to her temple; her head is throbbing. She brightens, however, when she spots Chloe and Everlie. She gives them a smile - her first genuine one of the morning. "You two been skinny dipping?" she asks, pointing to their damp clothes. She stops when she reaches them, "I'll never understand how you two can be bothered to get up so early." she's vaguely impressed by the two early-birds; she can't do anything but blink before 8.30 am.

She suddenly realises that the three of them are late for class...that's hardly unusual for Portia, but for Everlie it's unheard of, "Ev? You know that you're late for class? And on an assessment day! Chloe and I must be a really terrible influence on you, yeah Chloe?" she gives Everlie a grin that shows she's only teasing. "I'm in the mood for a drinks tonight...but, when am I not in the mood for a few drinks?" she chuckles, "What do you think? Want to join me?" she asks.

"Anyway, I should go. I've got Cadwell's class." she gives them a final wave and then continues on her way to Battle Strategy. Jules, Peter and Danni are already there, and Keating is looking around, obviously waiting for the others. "Sorry, sir. Got held up." She stands by the other three, "Hey, guys." she greets, "You three are looking awfully bloody bright for this time in the morning." she observes.

Portia nudges Jules's arm, "Do you have a water bottle? I'm so hungover - I feel like the living dead." After her drink - a long one after which she feels marginally better - she turns back to the others, "Anyway, speaking of hangovers, I thought maybe we could have a few drinks tonight? What d'you think?" she thinks for a moment before adding, "Obviously we wouldn't invite Ava or Arissa or Nina - or any of that lot. Just the fun people." Portia plans on spending some time with Will, tonight - and having Nina and the rest of the prohibition group around would be counter productive.

Tristan

Tristan holds up a hand in apology when he walks into Battle Strategy late, but by the looks of things he's not the only one. Portia, Juliette, Danni and Peter are standing at one end, and Arissa - who had come in a few moments after he had - is at the other, but apart from that the place is deserted. He goes by Arissa - he and Peter aren't exactly best buddies - "Sorry I ran off, earlier...I just didn't want to catch whatever Will has."

--------------------------------------

Alex

Alex returns Danni's smile with a tired one of his own, when she says that she feels great, "Glad to hear it, Danni. I wish I could say the same for myself." He watches as Tristan, and then Arissa, make their entrances and excuses, and gives them a nod to show that their lateness is excused. He gives the kids a 'settle down' gesture when they start asking about his night, "I can't have a night off, every once in a while? he jokes, "Gods know that you all do...some more frequently than others, Portia." he casts an eye over Portia's dishevelled appearance; she looks how he feels.

"Today, we're going to be practising with non-contact battle. That is, fighting using your powers, not weapons. So throw on some armour - " he points over to the lockers containing the armour in the corner, "-and break off into two groups of five..." he glances round, realising that there's not enough students to actually make up two teams of five. He frowns, creating a line in his forehead, "Has anyone seen Nina? How about Will? Emilee? Malcolm?"

N I S S A

After Nissa retired to her room, she checked her lecture notes for the class later that day. She already completed it last night but flying around early this morning gave her a new idea. She looked over her notes and decided to do some changes. Once she was done preparing her lesson, she walked out of her room and went outside.

When she was walking to the classrooms, she was just mildly surprised to see William Hawk out of class. She certainly knew how little he valued his education but what shocked her was his companion. It was Nina Collins, the shy child of Demeter. "Nina?" She called out, stopping near them. She looked at both of them disapprovingly but she was more focused on the blond haired girl. "I thought you have class with Mr. Alexander this morning?" She stated checking her wristwatch to make sure that she wasn't mistaken. She recently heard the last warning bell so she was sure that classes had already begun.

"What are you doing here outside with Mr. Hawk?" She added turning to the other student for a moment, arching an eyebrow. She looked at her and waited for her response.

Arissa Adia

"Yes, I know. If it weren't for Ava...", Arissa said smirking at Tristan, trailing off at the end of her statement. She liked Tristan, he was the type of guy you'd enjoy talking with. Unlike the other son of Aphrodite, he doesn't act like a total slut. She wanted to add more having found someone who shared her dislike but decided to leave it at that.

Now that she was in Mr. Cadwell's class she's certainly in her element. Mr. Alexander Cadwell is the only teacher worth listening to and she always made sure to pay extra attention to everything he says. "I can't have a night off, every once in a while?" She smiled hearing his joke, it was just like him to make things fun. But her smile faded when she saw Portia, the wild and reckless child of Dionysius enter the class as if she owned it. Groaning inwardly she looked at her disgustedly. I thought I got rid of her before! She thought thinking back where she unfortunately saw her earlier at the garden.

It was just her luck that everyone she don't like seem to be in her morning class, aside from Tristan and to some extent, Danni, that is. Good thing Mr. Cadwell is in front of her or else.
"Doesn't she know the existence of a hairbrush?" She murmured to Tristan, still staring at the girl distastefully. "Or taking a bath?" She added raising her chin haughtily, crossing her arms in front of her.

"Today, we're going to be practising with non-contact battle. That is, fighting using your powers, not weapons. So throw on some armour - " Mr. Cadwell had already started talking about their activity for the day. He then started to look for the other students. She rolled her eyes as she was walking towards the lockers when she heard him state Nina's name. Not surprisingly she's still with William. Honestly. It will do her good if she don't associate herself with the guy.

Everlie McCallister

Drying out her clothes to the best of her ability, Everlie looked over at her friend with curiosity sparkling in her amber coloured eyes. "So, tell me again why you thought it would be a good idea to cannon ball into the water five minutes before class starts?" Her words were spoken in a jokingly manner, but in all honesty, Everlie did kind of want to know. Who wouldn't?

Everlie turned and motioned for the girl to follow as they walked, rather quickly, to the girl's dorms so Everlie could change. "Are you sure you dont want to change? Or maybe shove an extra towel in your bag in case you feel like a swim between periods?" She asked as she made her way through the almost silent halls until she got to her own room. Walking in, she rummaged through her drawers in search for clothes. When she found some, she walked into the bathroom and tried to change as fast as she could. Missing classes wasnt one of her favorite things, that was obvious, what with her being an apparent nerd and all.

Juliette Halliwell

"Night off, yes. But when you come in looking like you got abducted and they just released you...." Jules smirked over at Mr. Cadwell before noticing Portia walk in. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed Arissa's look and a chuckle rose low in her throat, but she managed to swallow it down. "Hey girlie. Rough night?" She teased, bumping shoulders with her friend before pointing to her bag when the girl inquired about her water bottle. Listening to the girls plans for a....rather fun night, Jules' face lit up a bit. "Oooh yes. Let's wreak havoc on this school. We'll bring the walls crashing down in no time." Hearing light whispers from Arissa. or as Jules sometimes referred to her, Her highness, she looked over at her for a moment before snapping her attention to Cadwell.

"This should be fun." Leaning down to grab her bag, Jules tossed it and it slid across the floor before bumping into a wall. The non-contact meant that she might be able to get out of all the cuts and bruises. Might being the operative word in that sentence. But hey, being the daughter of Apollo, she had a slight power of foresight, so maybe she'd...be able to tell when someone was about to blast her with a lightning bolt? Sometimes, physical combat was easier than non-contact, but what can you do? Cadwell was the teacher and he made the rules, might as well play the game.

As Arissa was getting an armor on the nearby locker she was silently contemplating of who to add on her team. Mr. Cadwell specifically stated that they will have a non-contact battle and she can confidently say that she'd do well. Being a Child of Zeus, Arissa is naturally proud of her abilities. Not only can she produce lightning bolts as she wished and control the static electricity on contact but she is also more powerful than the other demigods. Well that is aside from those Children of Hades and Poseidon but Arissa doesn't really care about them. For her, Zeus is the greatest god of the three and because of that, he is undoubtedly undeniably the strongest. Period.

Having absolute confidence of her ability, she then decided that she might as consider teaming up with Tristan. He's the most bearable person here in this class, and while she knew he can't be that much of help with regards to non-contact battle, she'd rather have him than Juliette any other day. She also really can't imagine herself teaming up with Portia-- 'Honestly what can she do? Hit them with strawberries?' or worse Peter, who is only good for his lying skills. She can't help but cringe imagining them as her team mates.

She had been so absorbed in her musings that when she heard a new voice pipe up next to her, she instinctively let out a surprised shriek and took a few steps backwards. She almost dropped her armor but fortunately caught herself in time. "Good morning, 'Rissa. Nothing like a little bit of general humiliation and physical exertion in the morning, huh?" "How're you?" It was Nova Tricon, who obviously just came in class.

She raised an eyebrow when he noticed his appearance, "Is that grass stains on your pants Nova?" She stared at Mr. Cadwell again and turned back to the boy in front of her. "And yes, I think it'll good for you... the exercise that is," she added not really insulting him but coming of as such.
"I think I'm just peachy. How about you?" She asked in return, trying to be polite.

For Arissa, Nova Tricon is one of the greatest mystery in Olympus. She knew that he is a son of Hephaestus and because of that is a skilled craftsman. She's also aware that he is nice and an optimistic person but that was all the general things she knew about him.

His friendliness with her is another thing, it greatly astounds her. Ever since her childhood, she discovered that most people tend to get far away from her or are just acting friendly with her. It has something to do with her bossiness or endless pursuit for control --or her usual rude and haughty attitude to them, but always without fail she easily gets into the bad side of other people. Not that she minded that. For Arissa, if they don't like her, then she don't like them more. That's it. She won't ever change herself for something the society wants her to.

Not Nova, she can see that he's genuinely amiable and accommodating. For a person who's so clumsy and very optimistic, he's someone you can't hate... he's just so... adorable. Not that Arissa will ever try to tell him about that though.

Mr. Vincent

Gabe was running a bit later than usual, mostly because he had forgotten some things and had to turn back to get them before he started to head for his classroom. He was in a bit of a rush, even though he didn't have classes until later on in the day; but he hated no being ready in advance. He was just the type of person that hated not having everything he needed to do done. So, as he walked down the halls on his way to his classroom, he passed by Nina and Will, almost without noticing and giving them a simple, "Hi!" But he stopped, turned around, and added, "Wait...Why aren't the two of you in class...?" He pointed between the two of them and shook his head, lifting his hands up to his shoulders as if to say, "no big deal, don't worry, I'm late, too." before walking between them, a hand gently placed on Nina's shoulder in a brotherly way, and leaving Will to lead himself, then started to walk the two of them to the class they shared. Before he let them go, he looked at Nina, smiled, and said, "Have a nice day, Nina. Try your best; I'll see you later."

And with that, he spun around and started towards his classroom, stressing out a little, but hopefully not showing it. He had quite a bit to do to prepare for the day's classes, and he hoped he would be able to finish in time. He entered his classroom, and the sight of his many, many plants brought a smile to his face as he started to write on the chalkboard, prepping himself and the room for the day. It actually didn't take long to get things set up (he often exaggerated the time it would take him to do things, something he probably picked up from his step-mother) and he started on the task of tending to his plants. One by one, he started to talk to them, just as he did every day; watering the ones that needed it during his conversations with them. He honestly identified better with the plants then with most people, sometimes. At least the plants didn't look down on him or call him weird. They were always very nice to him. Gabe appreciated that.

Peter

Peter had sort of ignored Portia, and it was probably noticeable. He wasn't trying to be rude (and she knew that, no doubt), he just had a few other things on his mind. He had this stupid lesson, and he had to worry about his next lesson and then some, but, honestly, when the dance was brought up, he whipped his head to look at Danni. His jaw dropped and he shook his head, as if to say, "I cannot believe I forgot about that!" His hand went to his head and he closed his eyes, a simple, "Ah, shit..." Pouring out of his mouth before he could even think twice about the words.

He crossed his arms and shrugged, "Oh, gods...I am so smooth, forgetting to ask someone to go with me...." He started to rack his mind for what girls he could ask, and then crossing them with what girls would actually agree to go with him. He should've taken care of this weeks ago. Curse his procrastination on these matters. He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed, this is probably why he didn't have a girlfriend. He could never remember these sorts of things. Well, that and he was a manipulative jerk that honestly didn't think about other people, but that was aside the point.

Chance Rundell

Chance had woken up late but really who cared? He needed all the beauty sleep, even though he was already ten times prettier than half the girls in the academy. He smirked as he got out of bed and he threw on some jeans a plain shirt and a black vest. He was keeping it fresh and stunning so all the ladies would just drop dead as he looked at him, of course these were the thoughts that came from his mind, his joking mind. Chance stood in front of the mirror and he gave himself a sexy nod with the flashing smirk to go with it. That was when he spent five minutes looking at him self in the mirror. Soon enough he slipped on a pair of vans and headed out of his dorm. He was off to Cadwell's class. This should be interesting today as today was assement day and well Chance only had the will to bestow good luck on him self and take it away from others which might give him a little something.

Walking over to the class he walked in and gave Cadwell a nod. "'Sup Cadwell! Needed that beauty rest to become as handsome as you." He said with a wink. Chance was the kind to joke around with everyone, even the teachers. When he went to get armour on he noticed Peter and he had to go up to him. Chance came up with a smirk on his face and stood behind Peter and put his hands over the guys eyes. "Guess who." He said chuckling a bit. Then he noticed Aria and gave her a smile. "I see you got enough beauty rest there, Aria. Lets hope you aren't a cranky bitch in the mornings." He said flashing her a grin. Of course he was mostly joking though.

"Who wants some luck! The sweet wonderful luck I have!" He shouted with a big grin of course is people asked for it..He'd take away their luck instead of giving it to them just for a trick. It was rather hilarious when he did something like that.

Nina Collins

"Wait...Why aren't the two of you in class...?" Gabe's voice had been heard through many of Nina's thoughts and she couldn't help but give off a small smile. Her brother brought her out of the awkwardness and she was glad he had happened to walk by at that moment. Gabe was always a life saver and Nina appreciated him for that. Nina loved her brother to pieces, in a brotherly way of course. She went to him for just about anything that she could. In a few moments Gabe had place a hand on her shoulder and soon enough Gabe had been walking Nina and Will to class. Okay so maybe she never could skip class because Gabe would probably always find her and make her go back, at least she didn't get some sort of lecture from him like she had been expecting.

Before Gabe let them go he turned to Nina and gave her a smile and said "Have a nice day, Nina. Try your best; I'll see you later." Beofre Nina could even get a word in to say thanks to her brother he had left off to probably get things prepared for his class and such, he always liked to have everything ready, which she had seen from her experience of being in his class and knowing him. Nina sighed, her plan to ask Will to the dance failed and now she had no idea of who to go with or anything. She was truly heart broken but she wouldn't show it right now. Noticing everyone else was getting their armour on she went to collect hers and she was very silent about it.

Finding something that fit her petite frame was a little difficult but she surely found something. Looking around in the class she didn't really see anyone she knew well. There was Portia, Jules, Peter, Chance, Arissa, and that seemed to be it. Emilee and Macolm weren't there but that wasn't much of her concern. The other people here were Will, who she didn't really want to be around as of the current moment and then there was Aria. Aria! One of her friends someone to talk to but she was engaged in conversation with Peter and Chance so Nina quietly left the scene and sat down somewhere with a sigh.

Right now class was difficult for Nina and she really wanted this to end..She was better off skipping the class and talking to Gabe but that wasn't an option. She was here now and Cadwell most likely saw her come in so there was no returning and she just at to sit there and be alone by her self. If someone made fun of her she'd be likely to hear and if Will tried to sit with her or talk to her she'd ignore him. It seemed this might have been the alone her brain wanted and just enough of it to cry but she wouldn't and refused it. Sitting there staring off into space was all she could do to keep herself from crying and slight thoughts about the dance.

Peter

Peter rolled his eyes at Jules and poked her, "You're worse then I am, babe." He looked at Aria, "We're doing something that's annoying as hell, some sort of non-" And then Mr. Cadwell explained, Peter shrugged, nodded and mumbled, "Yeah, that." Then he shook his head and added, "Did you sleep well...Because I was just thinking that-" And then Chance covered his eyes, Peter had a look on his face that easily mixed annoyance, surprise, and even had a smidgen of an amused air to it before he said, "Erm, I dunno. You're not here to collect taxes, are you? Because I swear I paid them!" He wriggled away from Chance, turned around, and winked at the boy before he looked back at Aria, "Like I was saying, you're looking lovely today, honey." And he meant it, hopefully that would show, but sometimes it was hard to tell with the boy.

Cadwell's speech didn't do much to inspire confidence in Peter...After all: to confuse someone that much, he had to be close enough to talk to them. He wasn't sure he'd want to be close enough to talk to the other team. He looked around the room, neither team would really want him...Would they? That was always his problem with these types of things, nobody wanted him. As he glance around, his eyes fell on Nina. He didn't particularly like her, but she looked upset, and seeing a girl look sad like that just tugged on the boy's heartstrings (and the fact that it was probably Will that made her upset, too. Peter hated Will a thousand times more than he hated Nina). He didn't think she'd want to talk to him, but that really didn't matter much, in his mind. He walked over and sat down next to her, clearing his throat and saying a simple, "Hey...You alright? You just look a little...Down. I know you don't wanna talk to me or anything...But, uh..." He gestured around the room, "We kinda have to do this stupid team stuff, and, well, since you're not talking to Will I guess you don't wanna be on a team with him, right?"

He sighed, shook his head, and added, "I understand, I really do. Sometimes us guys are total assholes, right? Well, why don't you come over with the group...? I'm sure we're gonna end up as a team; most of us hate either Arissa, Tristan, or Will...So you're pretty safe from having to deal with them, with us." He stood up and held out a hand to Nina, a diplomatic move he hoped the girl would accept; because sometimes Peter Mahony felt like being nice to people. It was rare, but when it happened, he always hoped people would accept it without asking too many questions.

Danni looked up as Nina entered the room. "Good of you all to join us," Mr.Cadwell said witha smile. "Like I said, we're practising non-contact battle, today. So you'll get a chance to excerscise your powers. Try to make Mr. Keating proud. Split into two teams; one team will be attackers, the other the defenders." Danni grinned and stood up. She supposed she would just go on whichever teamneeds an extra player at the end. Mr.Cadwell grabbed two pieces of cloth from his desk, on red, the other blue. "Tie these up at opposite sides of the field - you know the rules of Capture The Flag by now."

Danni rolled her eyes as she realized she doesn't have a power. Unless you count ignorance as a power. "You all have powers." Mr.Cadwell tells them. "Portia, you can make people descend into madness. Jules, you have foresight - you know what attack they're going to make before they do; you can make a pre-emptitive counter-attack. Aria, Tristan, Will, your clarity is phenomenal, you see everything, and, y'know, all is fair in love and war. Chance, you have the Midas Touch. Arissa, you have the ability to lead your entire team. Ethy can make it pitch-black. Nova, one word; fire. Peter can leave people so confused they forget what they were supposed to be doing. Nina, you can use plants...haven't you ever thought of poison ivy? Danni, you're not afraid of anything. Do you get it?" Danni let out a small laugh. She may be pretty brave, but she wasn't the only one. And it was hardly going to help her beat someone like Nova, who could burn her ass off. She glanced around at the rest of them, noticing none of them looked too impressed either. "So, who's team will I be on?" she said to no one in particular.

"Danni, you want to be on our team?" Arissa asked her. "After all, Peter, Juliette, Portia, Chance and Nina -" she noticed Arissa look over at something and followed her gaze. Peter was walkning over to Nina. Was he trying to comfort her? Danni raised an eyebrow, and turned back to Arissa. "It won't be fair if there's only three of us," Arissa finished, gesturing to Tristan and Nova. "Ethy?" Arissa added. "Do you have any team in particular?" Danni groaned inwardly. She was pretty good friends with Nova and Arissa, at least, in her opinion, but she didn't really know Ethy, and hadn't been planning to, and Tristan... just, annoys her. For no reason, really. Kind of bitchy, but hey, she was a daughter of Ares, what do you expect? But she understood Arissa's logic. It only made sense for the five of them to be a team. "Sure, I'll be in the team," she agreed.

Emilee Rivera

"No, Emilee, it can't be that easy. There has to be some trick to it. Women are just.....really intricate in how they think.......or something. Remember Sarah? Daughter of Athena, graduated last year? One time she came up to me and we talked for a short time. Then I said 'See ya in English' and she just started crying! Ever since then Ive been terrified that something I say is going to be some girl code for 'I hate you' or something." Malcolm said exasperatedly. "I just don't think I'm cut out for dating. I'd just mess it up." Malcolm said sounding defeated. Emilee couldn't help but laugh at her best friend at his past experience with a girl and she shook her head. "Sarah was a very confused girl and couldn't control her emotions well, Will. You did nothing wrong." Emilee said still laughing a bit. "Malcolm, we make mistakes and that's just a risk you're going to have to take and we learn best by our mistakes, don't miss out on a great girl because of your fear." Emilee said seriously. He then opened and closed his mouth a few times like he wanted to ask something. He then turned to Emilee. "Do.....do girls really have crushes on me? Really? Cause that's kind of awesome..." He said with a soft smile on. "Some girls do, yes. I know it for a fact..You're just too daft to notice it." Emilee said with a small smile and a wink.

"Good point, at least this place keeps you on your toes!" he said with optimistic tone. He then faced her again. "Also, shut your mouth young lady. I want to hear no talk like that coming from you. You are a beautiful, fun loving, adventurous young woman that any guy would be lucky to date. I don't want to hear such negative things from you again." He said sternly and like he was her father. He then started laughing and elbowed her. "All kidding aside, you really shouldn't talk like that. Guys like you, I'm pretty sure. A lot of them talk about how fun you are and stuff. You're awesome, and I never want to hear you doubting yourself again, ok?" He said very warmly with his typical smile. He then ruffled her hair in his usual fashion. Emilee rolled her eyes. "Yes, father." She said jokingly and laughed. He then spoke again. "That sounds like a plan. But don't just say no to guys if you think I won't have a date. Just worry about yourself." He said seriously. Emilee smiled "Thanks."

"And now the blood rushing to my head is making me dizzy. How about it? You wanna head back to Cadwell's? Knock some heads around?" He asked her.Emilee watched him swing himself off the branch and land on the ground. Emilee her self was getting quite dizzy so she did a quick motion to get herself down on the ground again. That was when Gregis came with a buck, one Gregis killed. "Holy.." Emilee said in shock and then smiled. She scratched behind his ears. "Good boy Gregis!" She said smiling. "Now we have something to bring Cadwell as an excuse. Who doesn't like venison, haha!" Malcolm said smiling. Emilee laughed. "Alright, I suppose we can go back to Cadwell's, I'll lead." She said and soon enough they went through the forest with ease and they came out and got to Cadwell's class in no problem and noticed people in armour and separating into groups. "Suppose we need to get some armour and get into some groups.. You can go give Cadwell our 'sorry we're late' present." She said with a smirk.

Nina Collins

Nina had been left alone for the most part and she had looked up at the clouds. She had such a complicated time sometimes. Nina heard faint sounds of people talking and she just knew some of it was directed at her. Nina thought Will had truely liked her but that didn't seem true, he was just playing, something he was rather good at and something Nina had been too stupid to follow. That was when Peter was walking over and sat down next to her, clearing his throat and saying a simple, "Hey...You alright? You just look a little...Down. I know you don't wanna talk to me or anything...But, uh..." He gestured around the room, "We kinda have to do this stupid team stuff, and, well, since you're not talking to Will I guess you don't wanna be on a team with him, right?" It was a little odd that out of all people, Peter was talking to her and trying to make her feel better? She ahd no clue what he was trying to achieve. Nina was a little too shocked to answer him but he probably didn't want to hear about any of her problems. She just gave a small smile. "I'm fine, thanks." She said giving him a small not.

He sighed, shook his head, and added, "I understand, I really do. Sometimes us guys are total assholes, right? Well, why don't you come over with the group...? I'm sure we're gonna end up as a team; most of us hate either Arissa, Tristan, or Will...So you're pretty safe from having to deal with them, with us." He stood up and held out a hand to Nina. Nina took his hand and she could wipe the smile of her face. Maybe this class wouldn't be so bad and maybe Peter never had been too bad of a guy. He seemed alright and well things could have been worse. "Sounds like a good idea, teaming up with you guys." She said and once up she walked over to the rest of the group with Peter. "Thank you." She added softly and quietly as they arrived at the group.

Chance Rundell

"Erm, I dunno. You're not here to collect taxes, are you? Because I swear I paid them!" He wriggled away from Chance, turned around, and winked at the boy. Chance laughed at Peter's response and shortly he watched Peter go and talk to Nina. Next thing he knew Cadwell was talking about all the powers that everyone had and blah blah blah, it really meant nothing to Chance and he didn't go around saying he had no crappy ass powers, he could take away someone's luck away for a short period of time and it'd be rather interesting.

He watched as the teams started to form and then he also saw that there was Emilee and Malcolm. A big smirk placed on his face. What were they doing? His eyebrows moved up and down at that thought and he shook his head lightly. "I think we should get Emilee and Malcolm on our side and then Arissa and the prisses can have Will and Jackie...When Jackie decides to show up that is." Chance said. As for Jules talking about someone for being in charge he thought for a moment. "It shouldn't be me.. I'm just no..Nina here day dreams too much to lead but I suppose maybe Peter could or perhaps Malcolm or Emilee if we get them on our side. "Hey Emilee! Malcolm!" He shouted over to them trying to get their attention.

Jacqueline Christie

Jacqueline had been slightly hung over in the next morning. She had found her secret stash of alcohol that the teachers thought they hid so well. Jackie had made the mistake of drinking too much and now in the morning she had a slight head ache and she had visited mr.toilet, gross. After awhile Jackie felt better and she drank some water to ease her. Taking her time this morning she walked around her room played with the strings of her guitar a bit as she woke up. Soon enough she got up to take a shower and wash her hair and all the fun jazz. She came back to her room and blow dried her hair and then set her hair dryer down and went over to her closet. After a bit she had pulled out this outfit and she put it on. Smiling she got the converse on and then she went and curled her hair before putting it up in a pony tail.

Walking out into the sunshine she cringed so she walked back inside and rummaged through her stuff for her sunglasses and grabbed her bottle of water. Drinking her water as she started walking off to Cadwell's class she remembered what they were doing today and she groaned to herself. Wouldn't this be freaking fantastic? Oh well, it had to be done and she wouldn't complain and bicker like a stupid child. Taking a sip of water as she was getting closer to the class she tried to figure out what they were going to be doing, the more she thought of it the more she dreaded it. Then a smile placed on her face as she remembered William, her best friend was in that class.

When she walked in she scanned the class and thought for a moment. Soon her eyes were laid on Will, which brought the biggest smirk to her face yet. She observed and watched him walk into something and chuckled. She then silently ran off and she went and tackled William from behind jumping up and wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms over his shoulders and around his neck. She wasn't very heavy so it wasn't like he was going to go tumbling down. She grinned. "Why, hello Willy Wonka. How's it going today? Noticed you hit somethin' could my Willy be over thinking." She said teasing him ever so slightly and pinched his cheeks a little and gave out a soft laugh. She knew something was on his mind but didn't bother right now, they were in class and about to start something. "So, I bet the girls are just dying to go to the dance with you." She said bugging him. Lots of girls seemed to like Will and well Jackie wasn't one to fangirl over this child of Aphrodite. Nope, he was just her best friend..Nothing more and nothing less.

BOONE RAZIEL KEATING

While his room suddenly filled up and people began to ask him to engage, Boone did his best not to implode on the spot but not much else. First in was Cadence who, unsurprisingly, seemed extremely enthused about a day's full of education and learning. You could tell from that eager sigh and rolling eyes - not to mention the way she flung her things down on his floor. He rolled his eyes back, ever the mature one, and then suddenly he wasn't rolling his eyes but rather drawing them wide, like a lamb caught in head lights at the sight of Amarie. She laughed and for just a second, the tiniest bit of a smile caught onto his face, but he dismissed it immediately under the prospect that other people might catch him being the pleasasnt. "I suppose you are talking about your own outfit, Mr. Keating? I am quite excited to see this. I have no doubts that you will look nothing but splendid." She had retorted. "Oh, naturally. I didn't forget to tell you all that I'm Cinderella, did I? Oh, I did. How forgetful I am. I assure you that I'll be looking fine tonight- got special panty hose just for the occasio-" he'd begun to rant, a response entirely too long and oh-so-very typical of the man, but was interrupted by a bellowing voice that instantly wiped that smug little look right off his face. "BOONE!" Fion had boomed, and he groaned, dipping his face down into his craddling arms.

"Please, not now." he mumbled in futile, not even loud enough for the other to hear. It was pointless to voice it anyway because the insufferable man could not be tamed no matter how much you tried. He dropped his things on his desk, which forced him to put his head up, and he cringed at how horribly bright he seemed. Good lord, was he literally radiating light? It was too early for someone to be smiling so large. "Atreus," he warned, though the word connotated something along the lines of, "Why? WHYYYYY?????" He would have complained like a fussy older brother, but then the other man was pouring him coffee and he'd forgotten about being crass. "Glad to see the desk's the only thing that's changed. Sugar?" Fion had said and, too wrapped up in the need for caffeine, he only murmured out a small, "Yes, please." before bringing the brew straight to his lips. It was a silly gesture, one that showed how much Boone had come to simply accept the man's nagging for the sake of all the benefits it came with.

"What? Why are you always surprised, after all this time?" Fion had said on the tail of a laugh. "Fion, I don't understand how you expect everyone to treat you like a normal, unsurprising person when you continue to storm into rooms wearing that golden retriever skin on your jaw. Seriously, man, I'll buy you a razor if you need one..." Boone snarked easily, though he clearly meant no harm. Honestly, he was just preoccupied with trying to shoo the other man out before he was seriously embarrassed in front of Amarie. Wait, what? No, he didn't think that. Of course Boone wasn't concerned with what the woman thought about him. That's just absurd.

"....You've lost weight." Speak of the devil. Is that humiliation he heard crying in the distance, steadily approaching closer and closer as the minutes rolled by? Fion then went on to suggest dining on Betty's cooking and Boone could do nothing but exasperatedly face palm. Okay, so maybe he'd skipped a few meals here or there. He looked down at his frame, bregrudgingly acknowledging that he had slimmed down considerably lately. He was just so busy! And maybe just a little bit dependent on other people to force him to take care of himself. But only just a little bit. If he were a man who blushed, he probably would have there. Luckily, it was rare that anything of the sort happened to him. He wasn't the Power Control teacher for nothing, mind you.

Finally, Fion turned around to realize that he'd just publically harrassed Boone in front of his students and interest woman. Or maybe he didn't realize that. Actually, probably not. Regardless, he realized that people were around and offered them a good morning. Somewhere along these lines, Peter had come strolling in and voiced Keating's thoughts. "I hate you for being so cheery in the morning". Boone sighed in agreement. "My sentiments exactly. And, unlike yourself, Fion, some of us actually have classes. You know, with books and stuff. " Though, if he were being honest, mashed potatoes sounded pretty good about now.

"Anyway, we were just discussing how great I'm going to look tonight at the ball, which I'm assuming you rememebered because you're a responsible adult. Amarie's gonna help me with my makeup." he crowed, giving her a sideways glance. "Just to be clear, is there any other level of unprofessionality we should show our pupils before afternoon? I want to make sure that we don't forget something important. What about that affair? I hear Nate's planning on getting his hair cut. That's pretty saucy. I'm talking about his chest hair, of course." Boone babbled. When it dawned on him that he was being relatively talkative, perhaps because he felt comfortable around these two individuals more than most, he decided he would stop while he was still ahead. Or at least not completely behind.

Amarie McCarty

There was a dark ominous spot in the back of her mind, in which she often drifted to when she caught Boone in one of his more gloomy demeanors. He may have never noticed how her expression shifted with sublety the moment Amarie found herself wading in that inky well. It was simple, really; the man was an Ares, and she really did not feel safe enough in allowing him to be so frustrated. It made her feel less of an Aphrodite that it may have been partially her fault, as she had completely neglected him the last couple of days to pan out classroom stuff. Truth be told, she hand't been in an affectionate mood lately, knowing that her father was suffering at a place she couldn't quite fit into anymore. It was driving her absolutely insane. The woman disdained her mother, and was almost nothing like her save for attractiveness and charmspeak. The goddess just wasn't the type of lover that Amarie would idol. Again, she was walking into the foreboding corner of her brain, and just as she did so, Boone's response pulled her out, "Oh, naturally. I didn't forget to tell you all that I'm Cinderella, did I? Oh, I did. How forgetful I am. I assure you that I'll be looking fine tonight- got special panty hose just for the occasio-"

That was the moment when the ever-so energetic child of Zeus came barreling in. The poor Ms. McCarty nearly toppled over in surprise, of course, not the fact that his brawny frame almost ran her down. Of course not. That would be absurd! Fion had been one of her teachers when she came to the Academy, and she had always been fond of him. Still, to this day, he was one of her most favorite people on the face of the planet. Thinking that he would at least acknowledge his former student, she couldn't have been more wrong. Instead, he just went onto seeing that Boone's masculinity was terribly diminished by the end of the day.

'Tap, tap, tap,' echoed the toes of her heels upon the floor, arms now crossed, and face plastered with the expression of being bypassed by Fion. Then he added a bandaid to her already bruised ego as he greeted the students, "Goodmorn!" That was when she flipped like a straight up Ares' child. Hands shot down to her sides, one foot lifted then pounded on the floor in some kind of heated fit, "You, Mr. Atreus, do not love me anymore. I am SO terribly upset! First, you almost run me over with your ridiculously large stature, and then you proceed to pretend I am not even here!" Yes, this was a very meager temper tantrum. Maybe not so Ares, and it would be hard to take seriously. It was, if not utterly laughable, cute. Furthering her angst, "I just -" She couldn't find the words to explain her pain, as it was so easy to hurt a sweet woman like herself, 'AAH!" A sound of frustration was all one could do when they could not conjure the speech. At the same time, her spindly arms flailed.

With this, Boone's glance toward her was rightfully ignored. It was only because he mentioned that fiend of a man, Nathan Hensleigh. Speaking of him, she had to be at the gym for the ball setup. How could she have so stupidly offered her aid when she was going to have to be around him? The idea made her shudder. That meant a flock of little giggly school girls were going to hover around him, kissing at his feet with their aweful hormonal thoughts. Gross. Back in the day, she merely thought Boone to be extremely good looking, albeit frightening. That was it, though. Okay, so that was a lie, but if anyone ever asked, that was her final answer.

"Speaking of that pig, I need to be helping out with the ball. After I go to the teacher's lounge to revel in my friend," which was none other than whiskey. While she didn't look like much of a drinker (more like a drag, actually, in comparison to the rest of her half-sisters), that amber nectar just made her forget about all the negative things. The last comment had been ghostly in tone; more of a musing to herself. Before she turned on her heel to head out, she gave Boone the last attention of her eyes before she'd see him again, "Mr. Keating, I will see you later." Alright, so maybe that was a little bit too telling, but hopefully the students wouldn't catch onto it. It may have been a hint for him, though. To Fion, she just glared. No more that a few seconds later, she was well on her way toward the teacher's lounge, then to the area the evening's festivity was to take place.
