Full Name: Ochi Chiyu
Preferred Name: Chi, or just her Surname
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Voice Intonation: When scared, her voice gets higher, medium and lost squeakiness

Personality: Chiyu, often called Chi, can be very withdrawn if she isn't interested at the subject at hand. Her personality can do a complete turn one second laughing and if anyone says anything she dislikes she stops and glares at them. She is cynical to a point, and trust others to easily. She doesn't fall into gossip though, and rarely participates in it unless it seems amusing to her. She complains about school work, and has archery and ken-do after school so she is stressed out very easily. She cares about her grades, and hates it when others copy off of her, but lets them. She could be considered to be in the 'cool crowd' but sometimes she just disappears for days and returns without any explanations. She doesn't pry into others lives, and hates those who try and pry into hers. She isn't a leader, but can be loud and obnoxious when happy. She's fairly ignorant to those feelings around her, and hates when people try to act cute. Chi can carry grudges for a very long time, but often she will forget why she's mad.

She has a personal maid who took care of her most of the time, so in a way her parents don't know her at all. During elementary school, she was considered a genius, but others made fun of her. Slowly her math skills dulled down, but her artistic and creative skills went up. Before her seventh year started, her parents pressured her to think about what kind of job she would want. Both leaning towards being a doctor, she was put under much stress. Starting archery and picking up ken-do at a young age so she would have a creative outlet.

Chiyu watched as the girl awkwardly shook her hand. As the greeting was over, she introduced herself as Sora Ishii. It was a nice name, she thought to herself, she's pretty tall though. Feeling a bit conscious of her height now, she adjusted her hoodie.
"Well, Sora, I'm Chiyu. Sorry if some of the people are pestering you," she looked around. "It's always hectic in the morning, and then when school is out everyone's practically a zombie." She said laughing. As more people rushed by she looked at her phone.

"School isn't going to start for a while. Is there anything you want to know about? I have all the time in the world," Chiyu said grinning. School was never really to important, she got by just fine and made sure to turn in any late work so the teacher loved her. More importantly the scores she got, they couldn't care less if she was gone or not. As long as the school had their star students. Feeling a slight pain in her heart, she shoved her hands into her hoodie pockets.

"And if anyone messes with ya', just go to the host club. They're pretty cool."

Chiyu watched as Sora went into the building, finding no interest in staying outside she quickly made her way to locker 430. Opening it up, she looked at it. It was in shambles really, a great big mess. Putting some books in, she took out a sketch book and locked it. Stuffing a piece of a pop-tart into her mouth. Starting down a corridor, she watched as a blonde rushed by. Giving two girls some flowers. Curiously, she watched as the new student Sora and the man from the host club interacted.

Walking up to the two, she watched as Sora looked a bit uncomfortable. "Hey there, Kazuo. Sora." She said smiling. She visited the host club often.

"I see you've meet our most popular host. Don't worry he doesn't bite," she said jokingly.

Chiyu stood there a bit dumbstruck as she held the rose between her fingertips. The thorns taken out, she watched as the twins Akira and Amika started to pester the taller boy. As she heard Sora mumble something about stupid people being rich, she couldn't help but feel a bit hurt. As Sora walked up the stairs, Chiyu fallowed closely behind.

"Neh, Sora, I'm sorry if Kazuo was annoying." Catching up to her, she made sure to stay a few feet behind, just in case she had to make a quick getaway. "I forgot to ask, what classes do you have?" Taking a glance at her watch, Chiyu noted that school was going to start soon. Going next to her, she brought up the Host club up again. Sora seemed interested when she brought it up before.
"Maybe you'd like to come to the host club, just to check it out." Not all girls here are rich, she thought, or annoying. Just the generalization of the kids in the school hurt her. She was well aware that the commoners coming here disliked the rich. She hoped to change that, but Chiyu really doubted that. But maybe Sora......she quickly shook her head. "You know, sorry for being a bother.
"The rich people here aren't as bad as they seem." Passing by some girls who were speaking heatedly about the host club. "Okay, most of them aren't bad. Honest."

Chiyu inwardly did a victory dance before fallowing Sora towards the Host Club room. She remembered that there were a lot of girls always in there -duh- so she made sure to try and stay close to Sora in case someone wanted to pick a fight with her. As the door opened, Chiyu watched as the room was nicely decorated. The hosts talking readily with those who requested them. Watching as Kazuo talked happily with a girl, CHiyu noted a small trace of pent up anger on his face. Holding in a snicker, she took a glance at Sora.

"Pretty cool right? Well, I actually have some studying to do. If you see Kazuo, tell him I said hi." Walking out of the host room. She shut the door. Shifting her backpack, she quickly walked down the flight of stairs. Hopefully nothing bad would happen.

Chiyu watched as the host clubs tiniest member walked out of the principal's-room in slight worry. Sighing, she slipped in quietly. The man holding some transcript paper. She hated the idea of coming in here, especially for something so stupid, but she had to.

"Chiyu, your grades may be excellent, but you need to stop missing school. It's starting to catch up with you." She mimicked the principal before he slammed the documents down. Scolding her, he pushed them towards here. And there it was, in plain text. Straight A's but a terrible score of missing days. Most she didn't even excuse as sick because her mother keeps forgetting. She's lost count on why she even leaves.

"What do you want me to do?" He seemed to think for a moment.

"Simple, find an extracurricular activity. That should over-shadow the glaring absences. Get out more." Chiyu groaned, she got out enough. Why weren't these people ever pleased? Finally she just agreed and walked back out. Mumbling a few choice words she actually wanted to yell. Going towards her locker, she stuffed her books into it and went back towards the winding staircase to the host club room. She was going to go to class, but that could always wait. Opening it, she saw Sora and Naka talking. He seemed to be drawing.

"Hey there Sora, Naka," she greeted casually. "Whatcha doin?"

Chiyu watched as Naka was drawing Sora till she heard the door open. Some of the guests had already left for class, and she knew that the host club would not be accepting anyone else when classes started. Turning around, she found a girl with blonde hair in pigtails standing awkwardly at the entrance. What was her name? A- Amika was it? She thought smiling at the girl. Chiyu generally knew everyone due to having a close relationship with the student council president. Plus those were the only twins she knew and Akari was one to make trouble more than anyone liked.

"Hey there, Amika was it?" Chiyu said walking towards the girl. Noticing the long face, she was slightly taken back. Usually the girl was seen smiling, or from what she could see. Then again Chiyu has only seen her a few times, and even then she couldn't be sure of who it was. She guessed the girl was Amika because she was more behaved of the two.

"I see you found the host club? What class do you have right now?" Chiyu didn't want to rat on the girl, juts makeup an excuse because she'd hate it if someone told on her she was skipping class. Like she was doing right now actually. Ushering the girl over to a seat, she smiled. "Want some tea? Coffee? Here to see a certain someone......."

Trailing off, her eyes scanned the area. From what she could see, the hosts were accounted for. Looking back at her, her smile faltered. Find your sister maybe?

Chiyu looked around the host room now with a glazed over expression. It was hard trying to talk to Amika because she really didn't know what to say. Hey, how have you been? They weren't really friends, so that was to casual. Who's your favorite host? She hasn't seen Amika around here before, so she doubted that the girl had a favorite one. And if she did it would probably be Kazuo. Sighing, she took a sip of her tea, the bitter-sweet taste making her crinkle her nose a bit.

"Good evening Chiyu." She smiled up at Kazuo who approached them. It seems he was taken back to, to see Amika away from her twin. As he laughed, he bowed her and gave her another flower. Well, a red orchid bouquet more specifically. She couldn't help but smile, even if he was a little cheesy, Kazuo was considerate. Even though she knew he had a different personality. Setting the bouquet down, she glanced out the window. Another commotion, it seems like another host, Shiki, was arriving late again. His attention seemed to immediately go over to Sora. Trying not to frown as they forgotten about the girls they were supposed to host. Host club wasn't just any club anyone could get into, but if there were just a few complaints from someone important......

She sighed, another girl fallowing in. Her name was Midori, and as usual she was smiling happily. Chiyu never talked to the girl personally, but she visited everyone here often enough to get comfortable with them. Tapping the spoon against the fine china, she clicked her tongue. Attention turning back to Amika.

"So, what brings you to the host club? You look a bit tense, have you been here before?"

Midori went into the Host CLub and closed the door behind her. She stepped forward. Kazuo then rushed past her. He quickly closed the door. '?' She thought. She slightly opened the door and stuck her head out. Midori then followed Kazuo. She stood by the door and watched. She saw Kazuo greet a man and then... He slapped him. 'Kazuo?' Midori saw they walking towards the door. She gasped then ran to the hallway corner. Kazuo and the man walked the other direction. SHe made a reliefed sigh and walked back into the Host Room. She saw Chiyu and Amika talking. "Chi-chan. Can I talk to you?" Midori knew Chiyu was close to Kazuo. "I saw Kazuo outside with some man, and he hit him? Do you know why, Chi-chan?" She spoke. Midori didn't know Kazuo very well but she is still kind to him.

Watching out the window, Chiyu watched as Kazuo rushed out of the host club much to some of the girls dismay. Letting her eyes wander, she saw Midori fallow after the blonde. Sighing, she gently tapped a hand against the table. Midori should learn to mind her own business, but she didn't have the heart to say it to her face. Smoothing out her shirt, she was about to get up only for the girl to rush over to her. Eyes filled with worry, she guessed it was about Kazuo.

"Chi-chan. Can I talk to you? I saw Kazuo outside with some man,"
Chiyu tilted her head, some man? "and he hit him? Do you know why, Chi-chan?" the girl spoke hurriedly. Bitting her lip, Chiyu quickly excused herself taking Midori to a more isolated area.

Sucking in a breath, she sighed. She's only seen this a few times, but the man was someone to be scared of, "Midori-chan, I....know you're concerned for Kazuo. I can't be the one who tells you though, you'll have to talk to Kazuo. It's best not to bring it up though." A sharp inhale, "Please, try not to pry into other's lives unless it's absolutely necessary. Okay?"

Watching as Kazuo angrily came in, ignoring the girl's, Chiyu couldn't help but sigh. Glancing at Midori, now would be the chance to ask what happened but she was even afraid to confront the blonde. As he went into the bathroom, Chiyu debated what to do, a few minutes later the young man walking out with a forced smile. Shaking her head she stayed still wondering what he was going to do next. If things kept going the way they did.....she sighed, everyone thought that the host club had perfect lives. If only they knew, she thought shifting uncomfortably.

"Erm.....hey there Kazuo, maybe you should go to the nurse," turning her head at an angle so she wouldn't have to look him in the eyes.

Kazuo saw Chiyu and she spoke. "Erm.....hey there Kazuo, maybe you should go to the nurse." Kazuo wasn't going to the nurse, they would of asked how he got hurt. Kazuo could tell she had something on her mind. She didn't look him in the eyes and neither did he. He just stared forward. "Hello, Chiyu. Why would I need to go anywhere?" Kazuo said ignoring what happened before. He moved his hair to cover the mark. He crossed his arms and smiled. Not a real smile though. "How are you, today?" Kazuo said trying to change the subject.

Noticing as he tensed, moving his silk blonde hair to cover the bruise, Chiyu sighed inwardly. It was obvious he would be stubborn about it, but she played along anyways. "I'm doing fine.....nothing...really happening," she said tugging on a strand of black hair before looking at the ground. Somehow she couldn't bring herself to look up at him, choosing to glance at the customers instead. She wanted to ask how he was doing, but that would probably make him mad.

"So," she began a little cautiously, "how have your grades been? If you need any help you can ask." Even though Chiyu tended to miss classes for a long amount of time, she still got one of the highest marks in the school. It was a little weird why the teacher's never questioned her, but she liked it that way.

Kazuo was a bit confused about the question out of nowhere. His grades weren't the first thing he wanted to talk about but it beat talking about his step-father. "I'm not doing too well, B's mostly. Hopefully Owen doesn't get mad." He said looking down. The part of Owen slipped his mind. "I've heard enough from my mother... Uh... Never mind..." Kazuo said shyly. He moved his foot back and forth. There was a bit awkward silence before he spoke again.

"How are your classes going..." Was the only thing he could think of. He then looked down at his feet. "No point in filling this conversation with empty talk... Right?..." Kazuo said then looked back up at Chiyu. His eyes were filled with... pain... "Owen came to visit. I think you know that already... I'm fine... This happened because of my carelessness. It's not his fault. Its mine... Even and idiot doesn't forget to meet his father..." He could barely believe he just said that. But, for that moment he was with Chiyu he felt safe and happy. That feeling slipped away and he looked back up. "Oh... Sorry. I don't want to burden you with my troubles. Excuse me..." Kazuo said before walking past Chiyu.

As Kazuo started to talk, Chiyu half-listened. She was a little caught up in her own world to, with the way things were her grades probably wouldn't be enough to save her now. Sighing, she clenched and her hands as her eyes were traveling all over the room. She heard Kazuo's voice questioning how she was doing with classes, which was something the two probably didn't even want to talk about right now. The air between them a little tense and awkward. If she had a chance, she'd confront her friend's dad and say how much he was hurting. She wouldn't lie though, she was somewhat afraid of confronting others who were older than her.

Snapping out of her thoughts, she saw as Kazuo started to leave. Something in the back of her mind telling to stop him, so she did. Grabbing on to his arm, just enough pressure to stop him she flashed him a smile. "After school we should do something. You don't have anything planned right?"

As she let go of the slim arm, she fidgeted under the stares she was getting. "I mean, if that's alright with you."

Kazuo felt his arm getting tugged on and he turned. He was confused until she smiled and began to speak. "You don't have anything planned right?" Kazuo smiled to her question. He crossed his arms and placed his hand on his chin as if to think. "Yes. I mean no. I don't have anything planned." Kazuo said a bit shyly.

"It is definitely alright with me." He grinned then spoke again. "Just one question. What kind of flowers do you like?" Kazuo said with a small chuckle. But then he looked up and down. "Wait..." Kazuo said then looked back at Chiyu. "I have to have a big dinner party with my mother and father. A welcoming party. If I'm not there as soon as it starts...."Kazuo said then shook his head. "I'm sorry. Unless..." Kazuo said deeply in thought. "Do you want to come?" Kazuo blurted out.

Waiting patiently, Chiyu blinked a few times stifling a yawn. Man, why was she so tired suddenly? As Kazuo started to speak, she saw that his body language soon turned to that of a shy young man. She couldn't help but let out a small laugh, Kazuo was handsome, but he was even cuter when he grew shy. Which was an odd sight to see considering he was the most confident in the room.

"I have a big dinner party with my mother and father. A welcoming part. If I'm not there as soon as it starts. I'm sorry. Unless...Do you want to come?" Blushing a few shades of red, Chiyu opened her mouth a few times trying to form the words. She's never been to a fancy dinner party believe it or not, because....well...her parents weren't to keen on her talking to important people. She might leave a...bad impression. She wasn't concerned about that though.

"Sure, I'd love to go. I'm sure my parents would agree," smiling, she soon grew restless. "I've never been to a dinner party though. So expect me to be around you for most of it," she finished grinning. Even if formal affairs weren't her forte, she knew enough on what to wear. Something elegant, but not flashy. She cocked her head to the side, "Ummm, So..I'll just meet you there...or..." trailing off, her face heated up again. She wanted Kazuo to pick her up because there was a chance if she went there alone she'd feel really embarrassed.

Kazuo smiled at her response. "I've never been to a dinner party though." Chiyu said. Kazuo was a bit shocked. If it was one thing Kazuo did growing up, it was dinner parties. After Chiyu spoke again Kazuo put his hands up. "No. I'll take you there. A car will be sent for you. When I was needed back at home then a car would come to pick me up." Kazuo said with a more confident laugh.

"I was just about to ask you to stay by me at the party. " Kazuo showed a grin then looked to customers. He took a step back and made a shocked expression. Many of the girls glared at the two. One of the girls took a picture with a camera. "Uh... You'll be okay there... Owen, my mother and other relatives will... be there. So... I need to get back to... work..." He rustled his hair and made a nervous laugh.

Watching as some of the girls sent heated glares, Chiyu just nodded as Kazuo left to get back to work. Feeling a little bad for stealing him away, she left to go back to her classes. Even if she didn't like them, her parents expected her to do well. Shuffling out, she began to go down stairs going to her next class only for the teacher to look at her exasperatedly. Chemistry wasn't her favorite thing in the world, but she got through. Although balancing out equations really did suck.

"Please take a seat Chiyu," she gestured shaking her head. Sitting beside her friend, she got bombarded by tons of questions. Which she couldn't all answer at once, which left her a little over-whelmed. Finally getting to breath, she attended the rest of her classes like usual. A goofy grin spreading across her face as the last bell finally rang freeing them from their confinement.

"See you later Chiyu," one said waving at her. Waving back, she adjusted her bow on her head and continued to walk excitedly thinking of the party she'd be going to.

It was after school and a black limo came to pick up Kazuo. Kazuo lived in a large mansion. "Good evening father, mother." He said to Owen, who was standing in front of a mirror that was nailed to the wall fixing his bow tie. "Hurry and get ready. I don't want my guests to see you as a lazy, slob of a son." He didn't look at Kazuo and his mother carried plates. The party was for Owens's father. He just came back from France for his job trip. He was gone for three months. Kazuo placed his hands behind his back and spoke again.

"Father, I have invited a friend to join us in the party. I hope that is okay." Owen just looked at Kazuo and Kazuo's mother walked up to him and smiled. "What a great idea. Your friend is completely able to join us." She smiled at Owen and Owen just snorted. Kazuo made a relieved sigh. He went to his changing room and a maid helped him get dressed. He changed into a very fancy suit. His uncle, on Owens's side, came first and followed his cousins and aunt. Kazuo's mother, Veronica, doesn't know any relatives. She doesn't know any of Kazuo's father's relatives either. An hour or two later Kazuo went to get Chiyu. Kazuo knows where Chiyu lives. Kazuo told his chauffer where to go. Kazuo waited in the car. He hoped that the party wasn't going to be a disaster.

Finally approaching her home, Chiyu hurriedly went in and saw her parents playing a game of scrabble. By the frown her father held, she guessed her mom Lilian was way ahead. Going up to them, she couldn't help but feel a smile split her face. At this, bother her parents rose a brow knowing the girl smiled at them when she wanted something. "What is it Chi," her father started smiling gently.
"Umm....I was wondering if I could go to a friend's house for a party...." Looking at each other, her mother nodded.

"Thank you so much," running up the stairs, she went to her room to get ready. Her personal maid suggesting some clothes for her, she finally settled on a nice knitted dark red shirt ending a bit above her knees paired with black leggings and a black and white belt. Putting her hair up in a messy bun, she slipped on a pair of red flats with a black soles and headed down stairs. Waiting a bit, she heard the sound of a car pulling up. Watching as the chauffer came to the door, she smiled at him before being led to the car. Stepping inside she let out a sigh of relief.

"Ah, I feel so nervous," she stated fidgeting a bit as the car began to pull out.
