Introduction
We grew tired of this, and escaped. Once one of us got the idea, and started trying, the rest of us followed suit. They might have been able to handle one, but not all of us escaping at once. We managed to get out, and someone set a fire. The entire building went down in flames, and we don't know how many, if any, of the scientists escaped. We scattered, a few of us finding others and making companions. Several went straight to the humans, and committed several crimes there. They have created a bias against us as hybrids, and we must find a way out. On top of that, the scientists weren't finished with us. They had yet to finish their observations, and want to try to figure out what caused our ability to transform. And why we don't age. It's nothing ut an unsolved mystery to them, and for them to figure it out could only mean more problems for us.
On top of that, some of our own hybrids have made enemies of the normal humans, and the humans are retaliating. Now we are going to have a war on our hands, and those of us who didn't start it are suddenly involved. After having been out of their control for years, we are being dragged three ways. 1) We want to live peacefully, to live our own lives freely. 2) The scientists are trying to drag us back, to continue their work. 3) The normal humans are trying to kill us, and dragging us into the war.
So, choose where you want to be. Are you one of those causing problems for humans? Are you helping to stop the wars? Are you ignoring everyone else entirely? Are you one of the humans? Or one of the scientists, or working with them, trying to drag us back? Your choice. Just make sure you know what you're doing...
(And, because this site doesn't really have any way of telling you if your character has been accepted, I'll send a pm to let you know. So...yeah, have fun.)

"I honestly believe that Shi is different, Satchel." Coryi's voice got very quiet, "I'm not telling you what to believe, but at least think about it, please." She walked away from the cabin, turning into te woods, finding refuge among the darkness of the trees.

His eye slowly rose back up, gliding over Coryi untill it met with her own eyes. Her face...it brought more greyed flashes to his mind. Only flashes. They were gone as soon as they appeared. They looked to be a different scene than the ones earlier. He stood, and walked forward to Coryi...untill he stood but a few inches from her. His arms suddenly wrapped around her form, pulling her close to him in an embrace. It was an unexpected jesture from the man. His head leaned forth, and he began to whisper in her ear.
"I'm sorry, Coryi...I do not remember... I see things...I see small bits and pieces...and I see it in your eyes, every time we speak....We had something. We had a past together. We shared it.... But my head is slowly fitting the pieces back together.... And...I want you to have that again...I want...I want myself to have that again. That past..." He stopped, and wrapped his arms around her tighter. "I'm sorry." He repeated.

"Don't apologize, Satchel," She said quietly, "Don't apologize for something that is not your fault." Tears came to her eyes, and she fought them back, but one slipped out. She quickly wiped it away, hopefully before he saw. Satchel remembered bits and pieces. He didn't know exactly what they were, but he knew something. Coryi didn't know whether that's what she'd wanted... or if it wasn't.

"Shi," a man with green hair and eyes stood above her. He brought his lips to her cheek and gave it a slight kiss. He moved down and left a bit to reach her thin lips.
"Stanley?" Shi said, her eyes never leaving his. She held his hand in hers, then gave into his kiss.
"Shhh...they'll kill me if they find me here with you," he whispered with a hint of anger. "I don't want you hurt for my misdoings, either."
They had a quick half-hour of passionate touch and counter-touch, until they were both satisfied.
Stanley left Shigatsu with a quick kiss and "I love you".
The next morning, Shi didn't see Stanley anywhere, and wondered where he went, that is, until she found a bloodstain a few doors down from her beside his sleeping quarters. She shed a small tear and couldn't take it anymore.
At this point the memory dream cut off.
(I assume the experiments had sleeping quarters too)

"But.... What I'm about to say to you, Coryi...might be a little shock to the both of us.... Because I wanted to say...I believed I truly loved you. And I-I still do." He said quietly. He was sure that his wounded face was the most attractive thing in the world and he couldn't even believe himself what came out of his mouth next. "Would you be angry...if I kissed you, Coryi?"

"No," She finally muttered, very quietly. "I-I wouldn't be angry. Not at all." Coryi stopped to take a deep breathe, to make sure it was just her eyes tricking her and that was why the world was spinning. She squeezed her eyes shut, wondering why all of a sudden she couldn't breathe and ishe was becoming lightheaded and she had the sudden urge to smile. Coryi opened her eyes, and let the smile break through.

She ignored it for a while to look at her pendant, it began to sway at its own accord, building a slight momentum as she sat up. She smiled at this and palmed the pendant, dropping it to make it pick up momentum once more. She became dazed by it, something she never experienced before while with the pendant. Not that she had a pendant like this before.

Without noticing, Coryi had closed her eyes, losing herself, until Song's voice brought her back. Startled, Coryi jumped a few steps back into a tree.
"I think it might be a better idea to save this for a better time; like after we've taken care of the humans who did this." Rubbing the dull throb in the back of her head, Coryi looked at the ground as she comprehended what Song meant.
"Right," she muttered, though she was sure they'd hear, "This really isn't a great time, is it?" she struggled to conceal the fear in her voice. There wasn't exactly a guarantee that there'd be an "after" or a "better time", but Coryi tried to stay optimistic. It was a challenge. The bump hardly caused any pain, but Coryi kept her hand on it, to keep herself from dashing off more than anything.

BTW now'd be a good time for Song to come outside and then be like OMG what the fudge is going on? That'd be a good way to put her back in, if not cliched... Maybe. It's up to you I'm just making a suggestion.
