((Sorry, took another look at the places and realized that this would be in Old Belfast))

Medens was hungry. Very hungry, in fact. But then, he was always hungry. That was just part of who he was, now. He was sitting in an alleyway, watching the bar across the street because some very interesting stuff was going on there. Someone obviously angry but controlling themself had come out with somebody who appeared scared. He watched, unnoticed by the two, and was amazed as one turned to stone. So this was another child of Olympus... Interesting. That probably meant the first one was too, though it wasn't a sure thing.

Later, the lights went on and off, and now there were screams coming from the bar; Was somebody hurt? What had happened? He pulled himself up, and walked over to see...

Layla paid the front office clerk at the motel before finding her room. It was a rather rundown motel but what can you except from the Basin district. The room was pitch black, her fingers trailed along the side wall to find the light switch and flick it on. The small light bulb which was hanging from the centre of the room of a silver chain took a few moments to turn on. Once the room was finally lit, dimly lit more like it, Layla glanced around. It was nothing special, a double bed, small television, bathroom, wooden table and two chairs.

She pulled out her gun and threw it onto the table as she made her way into the bathroom to wash her hands. She let the warm water run over her hands for a while as enjoying the tingle sensation the water made as it trickled over her skin and down the drain. As she stood there with her eyes closed, the memory of what she had down, the faces of people she had murder today flashed back. Her breathing seemed to increase as her hands now gripped tightly around the sink seeing the boy’s innocent face as he looked straight at her before she pulled the trigger. “Fuck!” Layla’s eyes shot open immediately as she slammed her fist into the mirror. The mirror cracked a little as she pulled her arm back and just stared at her own reflection. She noticed her hand was bleeding a bit from smashing the glass but it didn’t bother her because she was more concerned with her reflection. She looked so pale and there were dark rings around her eyes from the lack of sleep. It wasn’t because she didn’t want to sleep or was to busy, it was because she couldn’t sleep. Every time she closed her eyes she would remember back to her time as a lab rat, the pain and terror of those years would sweep into her.

Layla snapped out of her little trance hearing her mobile ringing as she took it out of her back jeans pocket and looked at the screen. Unknown Number. She pressed the green button and placed the phone on her ear, “Hello.”
“The Mythos have found your last victims and they aren’t happy with you especially since you killed that little boy
it looks like Donovan Blackstone is the head of your case, it has been said that he has animal like qualities, so I suggest you watch your back more.”
“Thanks,” she spoke softly as she hung up the phone. She knew exactly who it was; he was an informer for her. So Mythos have finally caught up to me. Layla smirked cheekily.

The past couple of nights had proven to be both fruitful and fruitless for Taurean, or the problem child who classifies himself as "Suit"

In the grand hotel of Old Belfast, he had received no information on Olympus, Law Corporation, or the men who had tortured him as a child. However he had come away with over 3 million dollars in cash.

With this money in tow he had received information of an enforcer for an organization that had been moving in on his benefactor Yan-Mei's weapon smuggling operation. Four men in McCain's had summed up the number of murders to 12.

Every death that night had been quick and clean. He had gotten away free and had made himself and Mei just a little bit happier but yet he still wasn't completely satisfied. The money and the violence did not matter to him for his constant search was always for answers. He wanted vengeance, knowledge, and results. While the night did prove to be interesting it did not yield that which he sought out.

Yan-Mei rolled over in the bed that the two of them had just shared, letting the flow of money cascade over her fingertips. Suit had stood up and had slowly putting back on his clothes as he looked back and quickly admired her naked figure, her chest barely covered by the silk sheets that lay upon the bed. By no means were they lovers, just business partners that enjoyed a good fuck. There were no emotions shared between the two, and after their time of pleasure was over it was right back to business.

"You did good Suit" she drawly spoke out. "You definitely know how to make a girl happy with what she likes and wants". Her languid tone rang out into a chuckle as she finished counting the cash, handing Suit over half which he declined with a wave of his hand. "I'll take a couple thousand dollars with me" He spoke out "Put the rest into my account, I'll be damned if I have that much useless junk in my pockets". She mocked him with movements of her mouth before smiling. "Y'know Suit, since you've been such a good boy I've went on ahead and done a little something for you as well." He turned towards her and watched as her slender arms reached underneath a pillow, pulling out a photo of a man and handing it to him. It was a white male, long brown hair in a business suit that looked too formal for Old Belfast. By the way he appeared smug in the photo Suit could tell that something was defeinately different about him.

"I've gotten contact that he's been searching around for someone that matches your physical description. Odd that he would especially considering you've a tendency to leave your scenes of "crime" rather spotless wouldn't you agree? My scouts have tagged his conversations, the only thing out of the ordinary that are spoken being the word "Mythos". Do you know anything about it?" She asked as she turned to face him, lifting a shirt over her chest and reaching for some underwear.

Suit eyed the picture once more, a lone eyebrow arching as he put on his hoodie and zipped it up tight. He placed the picture in his pocket and began to walk out of the room, stopping only once her words rang out in his ears. "He's currently questioning shop owners in various neighborhoods in The Basin. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find him. By the way I've gotten for you a couple new decks of Spades, Diamonds, and Clubs. You'll have to wait for hearts though, ingredients for phosphorous aren't easy to come by you know." Suit grunted to himself and left with a smirk on his face, getting into his car to head towards The Basin.

Yan-Mei watched as he left, a dark feeling in the pit of her stomach growing as he ventured out. Something about tonight wasn't right she thought.

(The Basin)

The search for the man did not take long indeed. After scouring a couple of popular streets that had the more *productive* stores he watched as the man in the photo walked into a nearby gas station and proceeded to speak with the clerk at the register. The man had pulled out a photo and questioned the clerk, shaking his head in frustration as the clerk proved not to know obviously who he was trying to find.

With a sigh of irritation Suit parked his car in a nearby alley and walked outside the store, simply waiting there in the middle of the street until the man decided to leave, dropping the cup of coffee that he had purchased on the ground just as soon as suit spoke.

"Looking for me...." Suit said, both hands in the front pockets of his hoodie. "Hasn't really been a quest that most have come away from alive y'know. I suggest you cease this fruitless task lest you join the ranks of those who have perished in the wake of their foolhardy ambitions."

The man froze, the only words being "Holy shit..." before he regained his composure. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it. Looking back at suit with unconcerned features upon his face. "Taurean, Olympus experiment #7636....You've been causing alot of damage son. I suggest that you come with me peacefully as to not cause further problems."

Beneath his sunglasses, Suit's eyes narrowed in hatred towards the mention of Olympus. This man obviously knew a tremendous deal about them seeing as though the issued numbers of 7636 poured from his lips. Suit's mouth opened in a snarl as he spoke out again, taking in his surroundings. The store's location was well lit as the lights from nearby lanterns bathed the pavement in light that would make the shadows difficult to manipulate. As far as he could tell there weren't many out on the dangerous Basin streets, and the other man did seem to be traveling alone. The few within the convenience store would prove not to be a bother either if trouble brewed. Most common folk seemed to run at the slightest hint of danger....

"Mythos?" Suit simply spoke out, both hands clenching at something in his pockets. The other man sighed and once again repeated his mantra. "Taurean, Olympus experiment #7636 you've been causing alot of damage son. I suggest that you come with me peacefully as to....

Suit had pulled out both of his modified LeMat revolvers and let five shells burst forth, watching as the other man stumbled back from the impact from the shells.

However the man did not die, nor did he even fall. Suit's eyes widened from beneath his shades as two piercing high-beams from a car shot out behind him, cascading the scene in even more light as the man stretched his neck, laughing as the shells that were shot at him bounced to the ground.

"Good" The man said. "I like it the hard way anyways!" With a loud roar he flexed his muscles and grew to thrice his normal size. The man seemed as large as the as the comic book character the Incredible Hulk and shook the ground as he thundered towards a very surprised Suit. With a mighty swing of his arms a fist connected into Suit's chest, the only thing stopping the impact from crushing his vital organs was a small shield of shadow that unconsciously forms from years of training from points of impact. Still Suit was sent flying backwards, reeling as his back smashed into the hood of the other man's car breaking out one of the lights. He got back to his feet as quick as he can, using what darkness there was to form shadow gloves over his hands and prepare himself for the giant's flurry. The other man came upon Suit, swinging with dangerous punches towards Suit who dodged them with the dexterity of a boxer.

Having not been harmed, Suit sent two punches towards the man's abdomen and one more to his upper right chest but the blows did nothing. Suit swore as the man picked him up by the back of his hoodie and hurled him into the convenience store via one of the windows. He spit out a little blood from his mouth as the sharp pins of glass stuck into his flesh. The store clerks and the two shoppers that were there fled in terror from the scene as Suit struggled to get to his feet, reaching into his back pocket to pull out a surprise for this other bastard.

The other man charged at Suit once more but was met with card after card of the Diamond suit. The cards exploded when they collided with the man, diamond fragments bearing into the skin but not killing him. In no time at all the man had gotten back in close range with Suit, picking him up with both arms and squeezing his hands deep into Suit's back, applying horrid pressure upon his vertebrae. Again the only thing that was keeping Suit alive was a small shadow armor that formed where the man's hands were. Still however the pain was immense and Suit felt himself beginning to black out.

In an act of desperation he sent the front of his head into the other man's nose, feeling a load of pressure move from off of him as the man stumbled backwards. This gave enough time for Suit to remove his sunglasses, opening his eyes to shoot bursts of searing light into the convenience's stores switches, bringing the place into complete darkness....

The man once again grabbed at Suit, punching him hard in the gut before bear hugging him once more. Suit pressed his hands against the man's face, making his neck snap backwards as he struggled to breathe. It looked like this would be it for Olympus experiment #7636....but then he had an idea.

He dug his nails into the man's face, opening his own mouth to allow tendrils of sharpened shadow to enter the opening's of the man's nose, ears, and mouth. The tendrils cut at the man's throat, his ear drums and the nasal cavity. Soon the man was choking in his own blood, the horrible lacerations inflicted on his insides more than his strength could manage. He dropped Suit who fell to the ground on one knee, breathing heavily as he struggled to regain his breath and senses. The other man would quickly fall to his death, eyes rolled back as a stream of blood poured from the corner of his mouth.

Suit would slowly stand to his feet and search the man's dead body, reaching down and finding a small advanced walkie and would speak into it saying "Find this body as your one and true warning. I want you to stay the FUCK AWAY FROM ME AND MY LIFE!!" He threw the walkie to the ground and proceeded to walk outside of the store, the crunching of glass underneath his feet reminding him of the pain that wracked his entire body.

Then he heard the sirens....someone had called the police! Three squad cars came at him which caused Suit to reach towards his back and pull out the modified P90 that had been strapped and previously pressing into his form. He ran out and took aim, letting out a spray of bullets towards the cop cars that saw the death of one of the driving officers. His car slammed into another, the tires still moving as his dead foot applied pressure to the acceleration. The other four officers that were in the other two squad cars got out and opened their doors, peppering the area with gunfire. Suit sprung to cover behind the dead man's car and returned fire, hearing the screams of just one more officer as the bullets tore through his vest.

The situation was getting worse as he heard the sounds of more sirens in the background, as well as the chopping rotors of a news helicopter overhead. He grunted to himself as he took cover, unable to cloak into the night as the shadows were disturbed by too many sources of light. However relief would come as another car sped and swerved towards him, the passenger door opening as a familiar voice shot out in the night.

"Hurry up and get in! I cannot afford to have you caught or put on Americas Most Wanted!" It was Yan-Mei, who held out her hand towards the wounded Suit from the drivers seat. But before Suit could even get in a large shot could be heard in the background, Yan-Mei's face exploding in a sea of blood before he felt the heat of his own crimson fluid spilling from the hole in between his right arm and chest. The impact sent him flying from the passenger seat and landing hard upon the cold pavement, adrenaline alone the only thing that caused him to stand and run towards an alleyway. Free hand putting pressure on his gunshot wound as he fled, stumbling and barely able to keep pace.

The pursuing officers, seven in total ran in the alley but found no sign of their quarry. They turned on their flashlights, hands shaking and bodies reacting nervously to their target unable to be found. Then he stepped out in front of them seemingly out of nowhere. The shadows of the alley had provided the means of stealth for Suit, who tried in all his might to act calm in regards of his wounds. He held out a deck of cards in one hand, listening as the Cops ordered him to freeze and fall to the ground. He smirked, saying only "52 Card Pickup" before shuffling the cards out to the ground in-front of him...

They were of the hearts, and when they exploded all seven officers were coated in unforgiving phosphorous, their screams horrid as their skin and muscles melted from their bones....

Suit had escaped once again this night. But if this Problem Child hadn't made himself known before, he certainly did tonight.

He would escape to a nearby motel, killing the office clerk silently with a card of clubs before finding a nearby room. Since the door was locked he simply kicked the door in, slamming it behind him without locking it and passing out on the nearby bed.

Layla eyes stayed fixed on the strange as he began to move, sitting up and coughing up some blood. Something about his presents made her think she had met him before but she wasn’t one to forget faces and his clearly didn’t seem familiar. She held her gun steady waiting for him to respond to her question before she pulled the trigger.

Layla couldn’t help look at the gunshot wound on his chest as she felt her hand and gun move back a little feeling the pressure of his forehead leaning on the barrel. Just because he was already hurt didn’t mean that she would be sympathetic towards him. He was clearly twice her size and so his wound would be a great advantage to her, digging her fingers in the hole would surely cause him great amount of pain. A smile spread across her face as she imaged herself hurting the already wounded man. It was his fault for entering a room that clearly didn’t belong to him.

“Yan-mei?”

Her eyes shot back up to meet his gaze, his voice sounded rather troubled as he told her about fucking something up. Her finger relaxed a little on the trigger as she realised he had confused her with someone else. Maybe his innocent. But then again why did someone shoot him. She felt rather confused about what to do next and kept her gun still pointed at him before she heard the television flicked on. She kept one eye on him and the other on the telly as she watched the news. Blood bodies laying all over the street, it looked like a war field. Layla turned her attention back towards the stranger as she was about to open her mouth and say something but he beat her to it.

“They're after me now Mei....Mythos is after me now....pretty soon they will come after you...."

The word Mythos continued to echo in her mind over and over again as she stood there frozen for a moment. Her eyes wider then usually, How dare he lead them to her. She didn’t care anymore that he had confused her with someone else, he clearly had something to do with the Olympus project which wasn’t good. Without warning like something trigger her survival/killer responses she lashed out at him. Layla jumped on him, “WHO DO YOU WORK FOR?” One hand gripped tightly around his throat and pushing his head into the mattress, while the other pointed the gun to the side of his head. “I suggest you think twice before you answer
why are the Mythos after you?” She spoke coldly as her head moved in closer towards his face to make proper eye connect and to see if he was lying or not. Her hand around his throat started to turn cold as his skin underneath her hands seemed to slowly crystallise and freeze.

Layla was not happy right now and she knew that she didn’t have much time left to get enough information out of the guy before she had to leave. If the Mythos were onto him it wouldn’t take them long to track him here especially since he was bleeding. It would be such an easy trail to follow and she wasn’t ready for the Mythos to catch up to her just yet.
