Yukiko Wong (Yuki)'s Story

Yukiko rushed down the hall, she had spent her whole lunch time trying to compose a song on the piano that she had completely forgotten to even eat. She had already woken up late that morning barely making it to homeroom, but now Yuki had tripped and her 'masterpiece' had flown all over the hallway "Oh no!" she cried out to herself as she pushed all the papers back together, attempting to catch the ones that were still in the air.
One paper flew over and around until Yukiko reached out her hand before realizing she had knocked down a girl (Nodoka). The composition had once more flown all over the area, she rubbed her head and looked to see who she had ran into, unfortunately she had knocked down a girl and almost a boy (Edmund). Yukiko scrammbled to her feet "Oh, oh my I am so sorry, i didn't see you and i was trying to get my papers!" she bowed several times, the guilt hung around her "I really am sorry, I should have been paying more attention!" she reached down to help the girl up, hoping that she wouldn't be upset with her. "I didn't hurt you did I?"

Yukiko reached for her composition sheets "I'm so clumsy, even my father told me that! I should really pay more attention to my surroundings." One her hands had been fully grasped around the music sheets she nodded "Yeah i play piano since i was a child, I go to compositions and stuff, I was going to send these to my father to see his perspective on it." She blushed, usually she hadn't met anyone except for at competitions that were actually interested in her music. Whenever someone liked her music or even really cared about classical music at all, it was usually grownups who emphasized that she was just like her musical father, who was a 'musical genius'. "Do either of you play piano?" she asked the boy and girl before cutting herself off "Oh my I forgot to ask you names, that was really rude of me, knocking you both down and then not even mentioning my name. I'm Yukiko Wong, but everyone calls me Yuki for short." Yuki shifted her feet, she felt to awkward to hug them like she usually did when she meets people.

When the boy held a picture in her hand he started blushing like a madman, from her perspective at least. When she couldn't help but reach over a pluck the picture from his chest to see what it was, her eyes widened at the sight and placed it back into his hands, now she had been the one to blush crazily. "U-u-u-m, you should you know, put it in a lock-k box, o-o-r just somewhere where no one can see it." Yukiko shifted in her shoes, her face had been flushed.

(Wow. This is just a conga line of awkward stuff happening. XD)

A quiet groan came from the floor directly behind Edmund, perhaps breaking the two out of the their embarrassed state. Nodoka slowly pushed herself to a sitting position, rubbing her head as though trying to drive away the pain of having struck the floor so hard during her fall. It didn't work. Her head was pounding, and she would have a lump there for sure.

"W-what happened...?" Nodoka murmured, as though confused. She couldn't exactly describe what had happened to her. One moment she thought she had been having a conversation with Mamoru, now she was on the floor. From what she could see, Edmund was talking to some little girl, and both of them were blushing a lot. Nodoka wondered if they knew each other. Judging by how much both of their faces were flushed, if they did know each other, they must have been pretty close...

Ah! It's none of my business! Nodoka though quickly, dismissing the idea as she sat up. She glanced downward, avoiding contact with their faces as best she could, embarrassed by the thought. However, when she stared down into her lap, she noticed something, something which quickly prompted a surprised, embarrassed squeak and a flurry of movement. She had fallen a little way behind Edmund, and had done so quickly enough for her skirt to fold over on itself. If Edmund turned around or had looked at her before, he'd be able to see...!

Hurriedly, she jumped up, forcing her skirt down with both hands, clutching them together tightly. She was blushing now more than both of them combined. Slowly, carefully, as though afraid of what she would see, she turned her eyes toward Edmund. Had that been why he was blushing? Had he seen...?

Yukiko had felt her cheeks burn up, "U-u-u-u-m-m, i-i-i-it's o-okay I-I u-understand." She pressed her figure to her lips, guiding the sleeve of her uniform to cover her red cheeks. with her other hand she adjusted her skirt, and avoided eye contact with the boy. Seconds later she was given a paper by the boy, his name had been Edmund Loveguard 'how fancy' she thought to herself. She could feel the awkwardness lingure in the air between the three, Yuki looked over at the girl to see that she too had seen the picture. All three of them had been so embarrassed she thought to herself 'why not just even the odds and make things less awkward.' She breathed in and let the calm soothing air come from her mouth.

"If-f it helps I dressed as a boy in one of my Junior Male Piano competition. I pulled my hair back into a hat and everything, s-so try not to be too embarrassed, I mean everyone has secrets right?" Hoping that her words would calm everyone down a little, she stuttered along and tried to get everything onto another topic. Yukiko turned to the girl "Um you never said your name." she told the girl, hoping that everyone got the idea to shift the subject.

Nodoka let out another squeak as Edmund turned around. She wasn't fast enough! He had seen! She might have collapsed again just to save herself from feeling this much embarrassment, had it not been that if she did, the raven-haired servant might get a closer look. Unintentionally, to be sure, but he still might. Still, she couldn't help but have overheard part of their conversation. What were they talking about, anyway?! Something about Edmund being forced to... crossdress? Slowly she crept back toward them, trying to see what was going on. When asked her name, she stopped in her tracks, not sure if she should give it or just hide behind Edmund. She was nervous.

Just then, however, introducing herself was put in a back seat to other pressing matters. Edmund had spun around frantically, almost causing her to run right into him. As he did so, however, she, too, could now see the picture in his hand. A photograph of Edmund wearing a french maid outfit was almost too comical to be believed, even when seen. However, it was also incredibly embarrassing, given that the unwilling subject of the photo was standing right in front of her. Quickly, she, too spun around, hiding her blushing face behind her hands as she apologized as best she could.

"S-sorry... I shouldn't have l-looked..." She said weakly, almost unable to continue speaking. She was too worried about the answer she might get to her next question. However, she had to know...

"Err... A-ah... D-did you s-see... too?" Nodoka stammered, not able to turn her eyes away from the floor for shame.

"Oh..." Nodoka murmured, still staring at the ground, trying in vain to conceal the redness engulfing her face upon seeing that one nod. So he had seen... She was so embarrassed! Silently, she crept up next to Edmund, standing at his arm and sizing up the strange person that he seemed to have started talking to when she had her conversation with Mamoru- Wait a minute! Did that mean that Edmund had heard her talking to her brother as well?! Oh no... He probably thought she was crazy now.

Embarrassed, worried and humiliated beyond belief, the shy one did not even offer an ounce of resistance to the plan to walking with the girl - Yuki, apparently - the following day. Hearing Edmund introduce himself, Nodoka felt compelled to do that same, although she didn't have the heart at the moment to force the words out very well.

"I-I'm N-Nodoka," She stammered quietly. "I-I... like... playing the piano... too."

Yukiko watched as Edmund ran into the bathroom, she too was tempted to run into the bathroom. Then watched as he ran from the bathroom and began to introduce himself by grabbing her hand, she blushed and smiled. "I would be happy to join you on a walk!" Yuki said happily, the girl introduced herself as Nodoka. Yukiko turned to her and smiled "Its a pleasure to meet both of you!" she was finally happy that she could make new friends.

"You both play piano, how long have you guys played piano?" Yukiko smiled and pressed her compositions to her chest. "I do competitions all over the world, but this year their hosting the International Junior Piano Competition here. Its coming up soon so i have to figure out what to play, do you guys enter any competitions?" She felt a bit proud of herself, she finally met people who had a similar interest in piano like her. Yuki pushed her sheets of music out for them to see "But till I find out what I'm playing I just compose music for my dad."

Yukiko nodded her head "I compete for my dad, he use to tour the world when he still was recording his music, now I'm like the newer version of him." She smiled, "I also play violin, but not as many competitions, you guys should come see me in the junior competition, I can score you seats." She had never brought anyone, but her father to her competitions, though it would be a new horizon to explore.

Yuki nodded "It's really pretty outside as well." she raised her hand to her mouth and gave a laugh about Edmund's comment about charming the teachers with excuses, she looked at Nodoka "Nodoka-Chan do you want to go outside?" All she needed was her approval and then they could go outside.

When Edmund talked about getting ice cream you would be able to see stars floating in her eyes. "Ice cream! i love sweets especially ice cream its perfect for this weather." she smiled and gave a childish twirl "I'd be happy to join you for ice cream, oh how exciting!" Yukiko turned to Edmund and lifted a figure in the air "Edmund you don't have to call me Miss Yuki, just call me Yuki." she smiled "No need to be formal with friends."

"A-ah..." Nodoka stammered, looking at the ground. "I...I'm not very good, actually..." Again she was being modest. While it was the only instrument she could play, she was also adept at it. She had never actually played for anyone before, and would have been too nervous to do so anyway. So she lied, saying she was not skilled at it, to prevent anyone from asking her to play for them. "If I entered a contest, or something, I'd probably lose... badly..."

"Hu-h? Outside?" She asked, glancing up. "Y-yeah...s-sure..." So it looked like they were skipping class after all. She could probably get away with it, given how much she was known for missing class, but she wasn't sure about them. "Won't you get in trouble, though?" She asked concernedly. She didn't want them to get detention or anything just for her sake. They both seemed like nice people.

Yukiko gleefully pressed her hands together and under her right chin "I like all fruit flavors, cotton candy, bubble gum, classic vanilla, and more!" Ice cream had so many flavors it was hard to choose a favorite. "What flavor of Ice cream do you like Edmund?" She asked

Yuki than looked over at Nodoka "I think that everyone is good all you need to do is practice, in fact if you need any help come to me." Yuki gave a friendly smile to Nodoka.

"Is it really going to rain? Oh how much fun, I can't wait for it to start pouring then i can run outside. Its actually really fun to play in the rain, but you get sick easily." she smiled then gave a worried look, "But since it's happening later at night I might wake everyone up." Yuki gave a puzzled look, "I guess that would be a problem." She mumbled to herself, she picked her lip, an old bad habit.

Yukiko looked around "Lets get going, before we get caught." she smiled childishly at Nodoka and Edmund, and shifted in her shoes. "But we can't go in our uniforms, i have sweatshirts in my locker."

"I-I m-mostly like strawberry and vanilla..." Nodoka murmured, not seeing the point of revealing random information but also not wanting to disappoint the ones who had prompted her to do so. "Y-you don't need to h-help me, though... I'm sure it would be t-too much trouble," She quickly added, not wanting her excuse to backfire on her and cause her even more trouble than what she had made it to avoid.

"A-anyway... I don't think skipping is a good idea..." The quiet one said nervously, pressing her index fingers together repeatedly as though testing their strength. "You might get in trouble... M-maybe we should just go a-after school...?"She spoke with zero confidence in her voice, as though afraid that her friends might grow angry at her boldness now that she had given them advice instead of following their lead with no objections.

Yukiko giggled "You two are too cute! But you guys make everything sooo dramatic with the perfect movement of the wind and the holding of hands and all that silence." she looked at Edmund "You look very handsome Edmund" she said in a playful tone, but somewhat serious then held up a finger "Wait here I'll go get a sweatshirt for me and Nodoka, no one will notice if we are wearing a jacket over our skirts." she twirled away and came back to the group holding two dark stripped sweaters, she threw the brighter one to Nodoka "I think you'd might look better in brighter colors." she pushed her stripped sweater over her head.

"You guys blush a lot, do you like eachother or something? or are you guys dating?" Yuki pushed her hair up into a ponytail and twirled into a circle "Now how do i look?" she gazed at the two, she hid her small jealousy of them holding hands. "Its clean with no dirt or anything on it."
