You are undergoing a change, a change to your very being, right to your core. Everything we knew about the world has been called into question. The lines between possible and the impossible are being blurred everyday. It all started at the beginning of 2022, the week where everything changed. At first we thought it was some sort of flu, seemingly random people between the ages of 18 and 40 began getting sick. Impossibly high fevers followed by bleeding from the eyes and then by violent seizures, and then finally death.

Or at least what we thought was death. Within the next hour following their heart stopping these few individuals came back to life, forever changed. This rebirth awakened something within them, causing them to gain special abilities. Suddenly there were people with amazing powers, and we soon realized that they weren't dying from a flu, but this was some sort of metamorphosis. Like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly. Or a phoenix rising from it's ashes, which lead to the name Phoenix Virus.

Roughly thirty percent of the world's population underwent this metamorphosis. The public of course reacted in fear, and panic swept across the world. Riots broke out, so many innocent lives lost so senselessly. Both human, and superhuman. Including my own daughter. My name is Dr. Benjamin Savino, and I am here to help you through this. You are not alone in this, if we work together you can learn to control your abilities, master them. I'm putting together a support group of sorts for the superhumans of San Fransisco. Together we can achieve great things, help so many people like yourself. But it all starts here. It all starts with you.

I'm not gonna provide a character sheet, unless requested. But you do need to included the following:

• The basic stuff, name, age, occupation, etc.
• At least a paragraph describing their personality.
• A description of their powers, weaknesses, and other abilities
• A couple paragraphs about their origin story.
• And at least a few gifs/pictures of the face claim. Live action face claims by the way.

  • Hello, hello! I'm the illustrious CutUp, and I'll be your GM for this RP. Before you start working on your character of course you need to stop by the OOC to let me know that you're interested and then I'll get ya properly reserved. But before I do that, to make sure you read all the rules I'll be putting 3 passwords in them that you will need to answer. Password #1: What will be your character's color? Please note this is changeable, just at least acknowledge this rule if you can't decide on one yet.
  • Oh, while on the subject of reservations, I'm gonna give ya about two weeks to finish your character from the time you reserve. Also you can play as multiple characters, and I am willing to increase the character count from 6.
  • Alright, let's talk about Face Claims. We're using them, end of story. Now this brings me to password #2: Who is your face claim? Oh, and if you could provide a gif the same dimensions as the place holders(500x250) that'd be great, if not just make sure you give me a name, and I'll hunt one down. It's no big deal. Needless to say we're using live action FCs in this RP.
  • Let's get those basics out of the way, no goddmodding, bunnying, etc., etc. You know what I'm talking about.
  • This is going to be for MATURE players only. Expect lots of swearing, and violence. Though let's not go overboard alright. We still gotta mind the site's rules. This also goes for romance, I don't mind it, in fact I encourage it, but let's keep the smut to ourselves.
  • Let's try to get along. Keep the drama IC, we're RPers not YouTube commenters.
  • Let's talk about the powers. By the start of the RP our characters would have had them for about 3-4 weeks. THEY ARE NOT MASTERS OF THEM! I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT GO IN WITH A CHARACTER THE COMPLETE, AND UTTER MASTER OF THEM! I mean it! Any that are will be rejected immediately. Password #3: What is your character's superpower? Like password #1 it's fine if you don't have one yet, just acknowledge this password, and you're fine.
  • Posts need to be at the very least two paragraphs long. Really so long as it's not a one liner we should be good. And let's try to post at least once a week. That's not too bad right?
