Brief Description: Like her partner, Rue has an appearance that isn’t like others. She is pale and has a set of mismatched eyes. One is blue, her true color, and one is red with a star outline etched in the pupil. Even she doesn’t remember when she got it, but she knows it’s because of her relations to Star Clan. Framing her face is shoulder length black hair that often casts shadows of her features. Her lips are thin but perfect for her face. They are usually forming either a relaxed line or a forced smile. However, if her control is broken they might form a crazed smile, revealing her straight white teeth.

Her clothes are those that a witch might wear. She feels fairly comfortable in them, even though everyone looks oddly at her. It’s usually a dress such as the one in the picture, and all of them are blue. If she isn’t wearing a dress she is wearing a blue skirt, black stockings, and a white blouse that reveals her stomach and lower back.

Personality

Personality: Most would describe Rue as the black sheep of the herd. She doesn’t have really any friends nor does she want any. Her introverted personality usually gives her a bad impression and she is therefore always the topic of gossip. It isn’t surprising to see her being bullied by the other girls or being teased by the boys. Girls don’t get along with her because she rarely smiles or flaunts her flawless skin. They are jealous and even as they try to make her angry, she doesn’t respond. Boys are always trying to get with her because of her uncanny technician skills and her hard-to-get personality. If a boy flirts with her she puts on her tight-lined smile before stalking off.

If she isn’t out working with Fade, she’s often just reading in her little apartment home or scribbling in her diary. Her diary is full of the emotions she holds back, such as her relationship with Fade or the hurt she feels from the other students.

Dislikes: loud noises, annoying people, being underestimated, being made fun of, meat
Strengths: Her patience is impeccable, and this often allows her to assess situations thoroughly before jumping to conclusions. Because of her silence, she is able to slink around unnoticed fairly easily.
Weaknesses: Rue doesn’t trust anyone other than Fade. She’s reluctant to get close to people which can get her into trouble during battles she can’t win.

History

History: Rue was born in the Star Clan family and was two years old when their clan was destroyed because of their fierce want for money and blood-shed. After almost being killed in the process, she was brought to the school to hopefully make her different from her parents. The experiences she saw as a child scarred her so badly that she became how she is today, introverted and quiet. On the other hand, the experiences also scarred her in a way that sometimes makes her want for blood to arise. She was brought up by Shinigami-sama so she is very close to him. They consider each other kin, but it is true that Shinigami-sama feels a little weird around her because she doesn’t accept his fatherly affections.
Relationship with Partner: Truthfully, Rue is fairly attached to Fade. Though she has a silent streak when around him, she truthfully wants to make him happy. She flushes when he tries to annoy her and thinks it’s kind of cute when he himself gets annoyed, but otherwise she isn’t really sure if her feelings towards him are just a fond friendship or something more. She wants to be able to protect him but he is so intent on keeping her safe and she feels so useless.
Other: She’s been able to see souls since she was a child.
