Well you know, he isn't really a man you encounter easily these days. Especially considering him to be a teacher. At first glance, through his childish, sunny and easygoing demeanour, you wouldn't even guess that he is twenty-five years old; which suppose to mean that he has reached a certain degree of responsibility realisation. But he doesn't have it, well at least according to his performance at work. Not really your ideal teacher, for the school of course. For the students... Hiroshi is quite a popular teacher among them actually. As he loves to fool around and play games, he often turn his lessons to a rather loose one, only playing with his students. Of course, the principal has gotten the wind of it and told him to do his work correctly if he didn't want to lose his job. Then, he slightly changed his plans. True, he still played with his students, but the game was around his subject, history, and everyone is happy.
He isn't exactly someone you can call an empathic or even less sympathic person, but he does understand in certain circumstances and isn't such an insensible idiot like he comes off to be. His talent, to be able to cheer people up is through his humour, that isn't the least funny. Often it's quite a british humour; dark and has connection to death. Yet people come to understand this fellow by getting used to his weirdness. Not like they have any other choice though.
Hiro is an unpredictable persona, loves to make sad people smile and therefore sometimes meddles in people's business. Yes, sometimes. If he thinks beforehand it's too troublesome, he'll choose against it and better off slacks around somewhere, eating sweets. Notable though is, that he is surprisingly serious being a teacher. Despite him loving to be treated and quite the cheapskate about money, also would even run to get sweets; he won't ever let himself bribed by any of his students for them to get a better grade. About that, he's quite sincere and holds onto his principles and pride as a teacher. Despite all his laziness, he's a helpful fellow although sometimes he does pose some terms for anybody who wants his help.

Born in America, Hiro speaks fluently english with a light american accent. However, it's not like his parents are americans or some sort, far from it even. His mother is a beautiful japanese woman and his father a way older german man businessman. Both found themselves in Las Vegas and so, Hiro was born. It wasn't like they got married though. His father was only in Las Vegas for business purposes and had a wife back home. He couldn't really stay only because of a woman's sake, it might ruin his image. His mother, really couldn't care less about such a despicable man was the one who clearly ended the relationship, and therefore his father had never even seen Hiro as he flew back to germany way before he was born.
His mother found soon a sugar daddy (who accidently was a german man, too) who took her in until Hiro was born. It was a loose relationship, nothing serious. They parted in a friendly manner and his mother took him back to her home country, Japan. There, she made her parents surprised of the child, but apparently they didn't say anything against it, already used with what their daughter is doing. In such a house, where everything is tolerated, Hiro was raised. They were a family who lived like any other household; something that Hiro's mother never really liked. She soon went away from her house, leaving Hiro in her parent's care. Ever since Hiro never seen his mother again. Perhaps she died at some place, Hiro couldn't really care less actually. He was rather irritated at her behaviour, but as destiny will he inherited such bad habit, despite him being able to live in poor condition. At least, he got a proper job as a teacher. Until this day, his grandparents wondered how the hell he received such normal job after going through a school life that labelled him as notorious lazy bum.

Well, one thing because he knows the Head Mistress from his school days and another thing is because only a few teachers even wanted to come to the school which made it easier for a teacher like him to be accepted into the school. Okay actually there's another. He was indeed one of the teachers who survived back at the time he was a student after those strange incidents, and the deaths. One particular death really hit him; the death of his cousin. She was also a child from immature children of his grandparents and was also left in their care. With other words, she was his play mate from when they still wore diapers. He knew everything about her and she knew everything about him. They got along sweetly, almost like a pair of lovers which they'd be mistaken as everytime they went somewhere together. They may have fooled around due to teenager's curiosity, but never considered each other as love interest. Whichever way you look at it, they're still family.
From Kindergarten, grade school, middle school to high school; out of a miracle they were always in the same school, even in the same class. Hiro was always the lazy one, and his cousin was in charge to kick his bum and get him to work. Well, at least she got a reward that consist of him teaching her as she's quite a slow learner unlike Hiro who was always ranked high despite him slacking off all the time. Then, they had to go to that one school. It started with rumours; then those rumours could be proven by many things. More and more students witnessed the oddness, the whisper of the supernatural. His cousin, pulled by her curiosity started to investigate those strange incidents; and was killed in the process. She just layed there, blood everywhere; without any hint of what may have caused her death. It was strange, so strange... Hiro never liked it, never could accept it. That's why he was back at the school. Urging to know who... or what exactly caused those incidents no police nor doctor could explain. His cousine is considered to be the reason of why he could only be with a man.
