Personality: Malila is a calm, patient girl. She doesn't have much of a temper and not much seems to tick her off to be perfectly honest. Mal can just be laid back and chill and have a good laugh, she's not high strung and picky about things but she does like her expensive things, she wont lie. Mal has a lot of charm, she puts it on and she will flirt with the boys, with any boy for that matter. She'll playfully hit them, bat her eyelashes at them, touch them like she's interested, compliment them, and altogether she's a rather playful person who flirts with guys for her best interest. Yes she likes guys but she also loves to deceive them from time to time and likes to twist them into doing things that she wants but that doesn't mean she's greedy, it means she's smart. Lil tends to be confident and patient. She is confident in what she does and she takes pride in it, she has wide shoulders and she can take on a burden of sorts, she just holds her head up high and pretends she knows what she's doing, people love a great leader and that's what she's doing.
One thing to know about Malila is that she's not very honest to people, she has to lie to get what she wants and it's just always has been better for her that way. She's also not very helpful when you need it, she will help her self and a few people as an exception but other than that you're on your own and she's doesn't give a damn. Also if your life was about to facce death, there is no way in hell that Mal will be jumping in to save your sorry ass so don't even think for a minute that she would. She's not much of a proper lady either, she doesn't have perfect manners and really Lil doesn't plan on it any time soon.
History: Mal was born to Ailyn and Felix Fox. Both parents were always rather big on the Games. They wanted their little Malila to be the perfect tribute and to win the Games. Unfortunately, that just wasn't Mal. Her parents tried everything. They made her go to training after training class. But, nothing changed. Mal's sister Britta on the other hand, was perfect. Britta was a natural fighter. Mal's parents would give Britta everything. Which was quite a bit considering how wealthy Mal's parents are. But, Mal would have none of that. She would go to training classes and come home saying, "Oh, it was wonderful!", "My instructor said I was one of the best in the class!", or sometimes "The instructor said I really didn't have to go because I already knew so much!". Mal's parents were very proud of her at first. It wasn't until Mal's instructor called asking why Mal had stopped showing up to class. Then they got extremely skeptical. Mal insisted that the instructor was lying and her parents believed her. So, they let Mal quit training. They thought that Mal really didn't even need it.
When Mal turned 14, she started to really flirt with boys. She would flirt with any cute guy she saw. She thought it was the greatest. Pretty soon, Al had 4 boyfriends all at one time. Meanwhile, her parents thought she was just going over to boy's houses so she could study. Then Mal's mother caught her kissing a boy and was very upset. Mal was grounded for weeks. Somehow, this made Mal want to flirt even more. She loved having to be secretive about it. It meant more lying and flirting, two of her favorite things. Then when Mal was 15 she met "the one", or at least who she thought was "the one". But, then she found him cheating. Mal was heartbroken. Being 15, it felt like the world was ending for Mal. This made Mal much more patient and a bit more cautious. But, she was still Mal. She had to spend all her time with others. Her parents didn't like this. They started forbidding Mal from seeing anyone. But, this just made things worse. Now, Mal wanted to flirt even more than she ever had. It wasn't until Mal's father caught her kissing a boy that Mal figured she should probably be flirting less. That didn't mean that Mal stopped entirely, but she saved it as more of a special occasion sort of thing.
But, the fact that Mal's father had seen her kissing a boy came with consequences. Mal's father sentenced her to a summer working at their family business. The family business was a huge factory that made furniture for the Capitol. This meant Mal would have to work in a factory packaging goods. Mal had complained, saying "But you have machines for that!". "Yes, but you're much a cheaper." her father had replied. So, Mal worked in the factory all summer long. At first, she hated it. But, that was before she met Mila. Mila worked at the factory as well. Mila was one of the few dirt poor citizens of District 1. Mal instantly liked something about Mila. Maybe it was her flame red hair, or her sly smile, or maybe it was the fact that Mila was poor, but happy. Even Mal couldn't tell you what it was. But, Mila and Mal became best friends. They shared lost zero interests though. Mila liked reading, Mal liked boys. Mila like the outdoors, Mal like the indoors. Then came the last day of the summer. Mila and Mal probably wouldn't see each other again. It was a bittersweet sort of day. Mal is much different since she met Mila. Mila was what made her much smarter, and less reckless. Now, Mal still disobeys her parents but she doesn't get caught.
Anything else?: She's allergic to pollen and she can't stand any stupid or ignorant people it just pisses her off to no point. Also she secretly has a teddy bear that's been her best friend forever but no one knows about it and no one ever will. She doesn't even have it with her when going to the games.
Your reaction to being chosen for the Hunger Games: Expression. Mal has grown to accept that she was in the games, she wasn't happy about it but she nodded and took it. She dislikes the games.
