Description

Image

Name: Kallin Harper

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Role: Vice President (Student Council)

Weapon: Handgun- Glock41 Gen4 with tactical light

Image

Appearance: Her black hair is typically kept in a ponytail. Her toned muscles are easily seen through her hugging black tank top, black combat pants, and the black suspenders she wears. Kal also wears black fingerless gloves and combat boots. Her black trench coat completes her outfit and conceals the shoulder holsters for her handguns. She hardly wears a smirk, and nearly never actually smiles. She has grey, steely eyes.

Personality: Cold, calculating, loyal, extremely protective over her friends and civilians. Kal doesn't flinch from gore or combat and understands the hard choices and decisions that have to be made. She'd rather fight a thousand zombies to the death than have to discuss her emotions to others. Even though she's seen as tough and serious, Kal is very sarcastic and actually wants the people she has vowed to protect to see her as more than just a killing machine. She has a deep seeded fear about becoming the monster most see her as because of her callous personality.

Hobby: Target practice, and guitar.

Rank: Frontier (//>)--ZScout

Background: Kallin's dad was a ZScout before he got promoted to a General. Ever since she could hold a gun, her dad was teaching her how to hold it. Her mother was killed by a zombie when Kal was two. After that, her dad was completely consumed by the need for revenge and to destroy as many zombies as possible. It wasn't until eleven years later when Kallin was thirteen did her father go on a mission that he never returned from. Kal remembers waiting for her father to return from the special mission only to have his second in command, Clark Grey, inform her of his death. Grey was technically the guardian of Kallin now, but she never treated him as such. To her, he was a superior and he preferred it that way.

Kal didn't have many friends, focusing on her future as a protector of the people and an asset to the military. Growing up without a real role model for human emotions, Kallin closed herself off to people, solely concentrating on her skills. The academy was her favorite place, and she was thoroughly happy to be somewhere where others wanted to focus on the greater good of society. As the VP of the Student Council, Kallin knows she's on the fast track of following her father's footsteps.

So begins...

Fiacre was tired. Very, tired. Nevertheless, he had to start up the academy's new year, new start and new arc! He sighed as he positioned his dark, glossy officer cap onto his soft red hair. As he stood up, he patted the dust off the back of his pants, and walked up to his door. Pulling on the collar of his uniform, he watched as dust flew off, and looked at it, disgusted. Sighing, he said, "These old uniforms are disgusting...how long have they been sitting underneath the academy?". He looked at the picture of Chief Headmaster Erik Kreutzer (See "Z Academy"), and pouted at him. "An year younger than me....kid doesn't know how to treat his elders". Delicately, he picked up his white ceremonial gloves and started to pull them into place. Looking back at his room, he opened the door with a steady motion, and quickly closed it.

Almost immediately, a group of Slayers had arranged themselves into place. "We're here to take you to the auditorium, sir!", one of the soldiers in the front row declared. Nodding his head, Fiacre replied, "Yeah, yeah...I could've managed on my own, but if you insist". Following along with the large group, he headed towards the backdoor of the stage. In front of him, he could see that the auditorium was large, yet only half the seats were filled. Grimacing at the sight, he asked the closest guard, "This is it?". The guard, looking back at the sheet in front of him, he nodded. "That's all sir". Letting out a big puff of breath, he quietly noted, "That brat has got to be kidding me...only sending me like, 800 units. I'd require at least 2000 so it could run smoothly". Looking back at the thought, he restated, "And then again...I should thank him for sending me that much. It's probably not the least, but the most I can get".

Fiacre slowly walked up to the stand, and looked at the large pool and litter of freshman and students. He carefully tapped the mic to make sure it was working, and placed a sheet in front of him. "Welcome to Sector Two! This is another institute and academy nearby the main Z Academy. In here, we will be learning exactly what we learn in the main facility; Survival, Slaying, Intelligence, etc. All these subjects will lead you on your path to survival and resistance against the undead. Now, I know and can see that we have a few soldiers, but I like that. You guys will all be expected to study to your hardest and never forget anything important!". Pacing back, he raised his hand towards a buff, tough looking woman. "I am honored. I'd like to introduce to you all, General Katrina Milan. We are lucky, to have such a dedicated, excellent teacher in this facility! And as of now by the order of the Chief Headmaster, General Katrina Milan will be promoted into a Marshal! Please, all of you, give her a round of applause!". The crowd applauded. Even if the facility held only 800 people, the cheering and applause was loud. Fiacre could've sworn they had just attracted a mass of DIOCs (Dead with Infection on Contact). Raising his hand to silence them, Fiacre moved on. "You will all be here for a total of 4 years! That's enough to teach you, pack you up, and get you out of this academy! Now, I'm pretty sure you're all wondering why we're going to kick you out? Well, if I had to give it a case, it's because we need space for more freshman, so that they can also learn and survive. Of course, if you graduate, you will also be given a choice to stay in the resistance corps. But be warned; your condition of living will be overcome with grief and stress. You will be forced to risk your life in combat, and even possibly die from orders". The crowd chattered at that. It definitely caught their attention. Having such danger after their years of learning? They didn't like it, but they agreed to it already, so it was too late. "Finally, I want to give you something to inspire you all. To be generous and also cautious at the same time, I have breached some of the codes of conducts, and have crossed an important law; Weapons will be prohibited on school grounds and must not be held by Recruits and Trainees. Well, to hell with that!". Fiacre gripped his desk. "Humanity doesn't have much time left! We all need to ensure that our species will survive against those...things. So, I will present to all of you, a weapon of your choice. No, no, no...we won't have bullshit like scythes or whatever the fuck your imagination will immediately go to. It's all standard and primary choices!. Relaxing his arms a bit, Fiacre dropped back a bit. "Now, your homeroom teachers will be explaining the system and all about the academy before we move onto the subjects. I expect a lot from you all, and will be expecting more". Turning back, Fiacre started to walk away. He quickly stopped, and turned. "Oh. By the way..". Grinning evilly at the next words that were about to come out, Fiacre said, "If I see any of you pulling guns or whatever shit on each other, I will find you, trap you, and pierce holes throughout your whole body". Turning back again, he chuckled. "La vie n'est pas juste".

Quickly arriving back at the office, he looked at the servant. "C-comment cela? Je ne croisais pas que je dois faire ca une autre fois....J'ai deja dit que je ne suis pas bon avec les groupes grandes et forts" ("H-how was that? I can't believe I have to go through that again...I already told you that I'm not good with large, loud groups"). The servant lifted his head. "You did great, sir Fiacre. Most honorable and amazing". Sighing. Fiacre sat down onto his leather chair. He turned it around once, and wondered how the students were doing.

Another 40 minutes have passed. As Fiacre predicted, the students were finished with the herd, yet, he still sighed. "The kids have lowered my expectations....". The butler looked up at him, unaware that the herd was almost done for. "It is over, sir?". Nudging his head towards the window, Fiacre replied, "Yeah...I guess it is...but they were way too slow. In fact, I haven't even received a report yet!". The butler looked out once again, and noticed Isaac walking around. "Well, we do have one who's dedicated". Turning back to the window and looking down, the corner of his lips curved quickly. "Yup. He's good to go. Might as well keep that one, he's plenty dedicated".

He quickly started smelling the burnt flesh. With a grinning face, he laughed. "This smell! Ah...I can already smell the glory and honor in the air!". The butler scrunched his face. "Um. Sir. All I can smell is the nasty stench of rotten cow meat that was overly burned and sprayed by skunk". Fiacre snorted a chuckle. "It's not something that you can smell. It's something that only people who have experienced probably more than a thousand victories can smell". He looked down and noticed that all the students were cleaning up. "Good to see that the kids finally know what to do. I hope they get better at this...or they're gonna get us all killed one day".

He sat up from his chair, slipped on his hat, and hung his headmaster uniform on his back. He quickly grabbed his weapons belt, and fastened it on. The butler looked up at him with a questioning look. Looking back at him as he noticed the look, Fiacre said, "No need to be worried. I'm merely checking up on the students. I'll see to them, and also give them a rank for elimination of the undead". He left the office, pushing open both doors. The arm sleeves of the uniform waved around as Fiacre made sharp turns, and his boots made loud "Clinks" as it hit the floor. Soldiers closeby, saluted as he walked past him. Every time it happened, before they couldn't hear him, Fiacre would reply, "At ease. Keep up the good work".

Finally, he arrived before the burnt corpses. He opened the door to the outside and took a deep breath. "......Ahhhh...the smell of victory indeed". He looked before the students, and awaited them for their first action when seeing an officer.

(GM; The following must start roleplaying and being active: Kallin Harper, Andreas Petrovic. Katrina Milan can start whenever she wants, there's been something bad going on in her life, sooo...yeah. Anyways, the two following must start roleplaying)

Kallin Harper strode crisply towards the squad. It was the first day and they'd already caused trouble. She had heard the gunshots and about the fire, but as she saw the Headmaster addressing the group of four--two girls, a guy, and of course Prince-- Kal fell into position next to Prince. Kallin addressed the Headmaster with a salute before positioning her hands behind her back and staring straight forwards. She should have been there, helping Prince keep this squad in line. Obviously she'd missed out on quite a bit after the Headmaster's speech. But this wasn't the time for the team's leadership to crumble, not on the first day. Kalling had too much respect for the student council president and the Headmaster to let this break ranks. Turning on the heel of her black combat boots, she addressed the guy who just kept talking. 'He really likes to talk, doesn't he...' Her cold stare was expressionless and distant.

"The officers of the squad are responsible for any acts of insubordination within the squad. The officers thus take this responsibility along with the consequences as seen fit by the Headmaster or other personnel of faculty. This is how it works. Structure is how we survive." Kallin's tone was icy as she addressed the guy who was apparently in her squad. Turning back on her heel, she faced forwards again. As much as she'd prefer the person who started the chaos to suffer for it, Kal strictly believed in this system. With her arms pin straight, her feet perfectly aligned, and her chin level with the ground with an air of confidence, Kallin prepared herself for whatever punishment the Headmaster would see fit for the crimes that she herself didn't even know the extent of. Hopefully Prince could fill her in later about what the hell was actually going on during the time she went to pick up her weapons from the armory.

Carrie blinked in confusion and turned to the new girl. So she's an officer? She began to speak, talking about responsibility and structure. Carrie didn't believe a word of it. Structure huh? Where were they when we almost died? If they wanted to take responsibility they'd help their students rather then just watch on wanting to know how we did.

Carrie rolled her eyes. She was tired of people getting in the way of their punishment. I just want to get this over with and never do it again. I could be reading right now instead of being grilled for killing zombies. Which is what we're trained for. Maybe these people should focus more on students then rules.

Yukito clear his throat looking at Carrie and gave her a look of let it go, He knew it wasn't the best to critized or step out of line in this academy he sight and look at the vice president the structure had not been enforced. He nod at the speech the vice president gave she seems annoyed at him what was wrong he was just trying to stand up for the squad he was active since the first day was that wrong that he got involved with his class mates talking to them. He pushed up his glasses the rule were rule like them or not he look back at Carrie and gave her a quick smile to ease her nerves a hot head lead to unsavory situations " You are right ma'am I apologize, oops sorry for speaking out of turn " He said as he bow and salute her.

Carrie stepped forward, taking a spot next to Yukito. 'If I may be so bold ma'am,' Shit, my voice is cracking again. 'Is it really just to take the fall for something you had no part of?' She addressed Kallin, her eyes narrowing. 'Officers should know when their trannies need to be punished without them.'

" Hey what are you doing you want to get into more trouble " he whisper to her ear " in this place is about what badge you sport and right now we sport the lowest our opinions don't matter" He said to her as he moved his gaze back at the vice president cold stare typical of those who had lost their free thinking to a military mind set while it kept order it was not the best away to think specially in the apocalypse marching wasn't going to impress the zombies. He pushed his glasses up and look at Carrie he was impressed she stood up for what she believe and he like it he would to but it normally meant others did so and he didn't want to be a leader to some revolution if he did he would had become the president of the student council.

Kallin heard the guy's apology, glad that he seemed to understand. But Kallin froze as the girl addressed her. As the girl's voice cracked, Kal turned around to face her, posture still rigid. "Officers should know when their trainnies need to be punished without them." Seeing the guy whisper to the girl caused Kallin to quirk an eyebrow, her jaw tightened as she took a measured breath. She knew this was their first day, and that she'd have to explain it to them eventually, but she at least thought it could be done within the squad, not in front of the Headmaster.

"No." Kallin spoke simply, her voice firm and full. "I am Vice President of Student Council Prince Sebastian's Freshman Squad: Kallin Harper. You don't know me yet, but soon you will become very aware of one fact." Kallin stepped closer to the two, her gaze narrowing at them and her voice lowering. "Your actions, whether Prince or I are aware of them, will affect the entire squad. Perhaps you don't see this as something to be particularly concerned about at the moment, but if it were your bodies that had to be cleaned up, I ensure you might care a bit more. I will endure any punishment necessary for this squad, because it will be my job and the President's to ensure that you live. Go ahead and hate me, resent me, I don't care how you feel about me. I will do everything I can to create a disciplined squad that will think clearly in the heat of battle. And I will do whatever it takes to make sure you will return home. That's why officers take the punishment for their squad, regardless of circumstances. A punishment reminds us of our purpose, and failure as leaders for the squad." Taking a step back, Kallin lifted her head tall again. "Besides, none of you'd get off the hook that easily. You have us to deal with for four years." Kal waited, to see if there were any further questions.

'Damn, this is starting off horribly wrong. She is right though, I should have been here. That's a mistake that will not happen again. They're my responsibility. And Prince's. I can't lose one of them so quickly, or easily. I just need to be tough. Hopefully Prince will have some ideas...' Kallin thought to herself, her eyebrows furrowing at her internal battle, though her posture did not unwind.

Carrie wanted to take a step back to get away from the girl who was coming closer. But she couldn't appear weak to her, especially when she spoke out to her. 'Weather or not you consider yourself responsible for action I chose to take, you considering that you must be punished when we have just met will not sit comfortably with me.'

Clinching her fist she took a step towards the girl. 'So I will argue for what I deem as unfair.' She let a little smirk cross her face. 'Even if it makes my superiors resent me for it.'

" You cant possible think that way ma'am, a squad must be inspired by their leader to follow an example if you are hate then the squad will fail and if this is part if the structure you believe in then I personally think is wrong a strong drive and relationship with the fellow students will ensure survival rates to go up " He said pushing up his glasses and straighten up his posture and walked over to the vice president side " Shigura Yukito, accepting my place and punishment with the rest of the squad " He smiled at the vice president " pleasure to meet you ma'am I hope I can make you see the point I made earlier and make this squad the best it can be working with you and the president " He smiled closing his eyes waited to see the result of the actions that transpire earlier " Oh yeah we have done the clean up so we can go straight to the next section of the punishment".

( also technically the fight was outside the wall not the hallway there was not infiltration fire danger was taken care of but we already clean the hallway so )

Prince stood in the group in silence and allowed the Headmaster to say his peace. To be honest he would have given at least a 40 to the group. But then again he was right, it placed all of them in danger. He looked down at the group and frowned at his squad. He knew they would be a little trouble to handle since they seemed to go with instinct rather than logic, but he was their squad. After a while he smirked seeing the female. "Someone came late for the party." He whispered momentarily before shutting his mouth once again. When the brunet spoke the Prisident took a step forward.

"And you will, be punished." He said for the first time after a while. He couldn't help but smirk as Kallin spoke up. "Because of your impulsive actions, Kallin and I shall discuss what form of punishment the squad take."[ The once easy and playful Prince was now replaced with the responsible, cold president. He then looked over at the girl and narrowed his gaze at her. "As leaders you are our responsibility, every action you take reflects on us and we suffer the consequences of your actions. If you really want to make our lives easier, don't do any thing stupid." He's said that phrase all too many times even for today and he means it.

The blond then turned his attention to the headmaster. "Sir, I take full responsibility of the squad." He said as stood up straight. "But with all due respect sir, I did approach earlier and you did give us permission to fight." For the first time the boy was reasoning with the headmaster. Again being such a fan boy it was out of the ordinary."I was just too late to instruct them, they just fought to save the school. But that does not excuse them for their stupidity, Sir. Please allow Kallin and I to handle their punishment, but please allow us to make up for it. I assure you this won't happen again." He lowered his head slightly and pressed his lips together.

He turned his eyes to the girl once more. "That mouth of yours is not making you look more noble." He said signalling her to keep her mouth shut. He didn't want to put anyone in any more trouble. A small smirk grew as he looked over at Yukito. The boy has showed that he was a promising soldier he definitely was going to keep his eye out.

Kallin nodded to Prince, appreciative at his diplomatic intervention. Kal wasn't the best to convey much on the emotional or verbal level, but she did her best. She had to. Prince was always been better at it than she had. Now they could only wait to see what the Headmaster would hand out. But Kal knew if Prince actually spoke out against the Headmaster slightly, then the group must have taken care of themselves. Perhaps the squad was a bit rough around the edges, but the Vice President didn't care. This was a group of people she'd give her life to protect, even if they are so freaking talkative. Holding in a sigh, Kal purposefully ignored the girl's comment, just wanting this to be over with. And Prince was right, this wouldn't happen again. 'This can't happen again.'

She opened her mouth to speak again but quickly snapped it shut. It'd do more harm then good now. This is why I don't like talking. It gets me in trouble and makes my throat hurt. She thought with a sigh. Carrie took a step back and bowed her head to show she was done arguing. So much for her plan of sticking to the shadows and not making ties with anyone. Not only did she feel a commitment to Yukito and Cathy, but the President and Vice president would no doubt be on their tails from now on.

Fiacre face-palmed. This was...a disgrace. A huge hole had just popped up on the face of Sector 2's reputation.
"Enough!", shouted Fiacre. "All of you should have known, that acting before an order would bring up such a terrible fate and tragedy". Fiacre turned to Yukito, as his pupils shrunk, and narrowed down onto him.
"And stop asking me to put the blame on you. I detest such people. It hurts my ears just to hear someone ask for all the blame. If that does happen, nobody will learn, neither the one who took all blame". He flipped through his pages.
"Now...I guess I'll call it squad 30. Yeah, we don't have a squad 30 anyways". He turned to them after he scribbled through his notebook with the fountain pen, and pointed it towards the vice president.
"And you shouldn't be late. I hope your not, the next time I assess this squad".

He quickly clamped his mini notebook and slipped it into his uniform pocket. Suddenly, a gust of wind passed by them. He quickly pulled off the uniform hung on his back. Covering his face from the fast current, Fiacre pulled on sleeves into his arms, and fitted himself nicely. As he buttoned up his headmaster uniform, he looked at the squad, and noticed something.
"I can tell your missing one member...possibly another". He sighed. It was the ruthless kid they had just taken in a few days ago....Although he hasn't even seen the girl himself, he had heard that this girl was somewhat...bizarre, in a way. He yawned, and a glistening tear quickly leaked out. Rubbing it off, he ordered, "I don't want any of this to happen again. If I say it once, I expect it to be done. Disappointing overall, squad 30". Fiacre turned a 180, then sneaked a peek on the student council president.
"Show me you can control these students, Prince. Show me your actually worth being the student council president without just some skills for show". He walked away towards the exit, and paused. "Oh, yeah. Don't worry about the bodies. I'll have the trainees clean them up for experience". His boots clamped loudly, as he walked away, once again.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fiare looked around the academy. The facility looked good...it looked like there was no damage done. He saluted to a couple soldiers, asked them about how the students were doing, and nodded at their answers.
"Good...no students neither soldiers have been harmed, neither infected. It looks like this undead raid was utter rubbish, nothing we should really have cared about". Some flashbacks appeared before his mind. A few dead corpses. A picture of an unknown woman with blood smeared on it. Faces. Smiling faces, then faces in despair. He shook his head in disappointment.
"I wonder how the family is doing...."
He noded and smile at Carrie she was brave but the president was right to avoid anymore trouble he look at the presiden he was a leader that the others could follow. His feeling about this squad was strong with all of them working together they would succeed. He looked over to the emty halfway what ever the punishment was he was going to make sure it wasn't a experience that would separate them instead he would try to make it a team building experience. He saw the head master walk way and continued to stand there till the president ordered something.
( I did and the post didn't seem to conflict with the last one but you are the boss so edited)
(GM: Umm....can you read the last post first before posting? If someone beats you to the clock, then you gotta follow up with what's next...It's kind of a cruel rule but it's to make the rp more organized.)
Once the headmaster had called on their attention, Prince stood upright and held his chin up. Squad 30, it doesn't actually have an amzing ring to it but it will have to do. He frowned a little when he said that they were missing someone. He wondered if that so call missing soldier was in hiding or just didn't bother to wake up. He has heard some rumors about her but again just rumors. Prince dropped his eyes once the headmaster addressed him. It was a hit to his ego, and felt a little smaller than before. He clenched his fist and nodded. "Yes, Sir." He said before watching the male make his leave.
He gave out a sigh, to be honest he hoped that he didn't have to act so up tight around his squad. He was hoping that they would just be a group of obedient soldiers, but that was all wishful thinking. He had to bring his act together. He then walked over to the front of the group and eyes each of them. He had a strong willed soldier, a girl who seemed to want to be a hero and another girl that acted on impulse and soon a ruthless girl. What a dynamic group, he thought to himself as he rolled his eyes.
He looked over at the corpses chard and burnt to a crisp. "You all heard the headmaster," Prince said looking down at each of them. "Next time shit goes down you will await orders. No one will act on impulse, understood? You're dismissed for now. Don't stick around here, it stinks and you've already caused trouble. I expect all of you in the training grounds in an hour."
He looked over at Kallin and jerked his head towards the entrance as if to signal to follow after him as he walked back into the school. "God, this is going to be a pain." He sighed as he relax his shoulders once Kallin had caught up with him.
Isaac had been eavesdropping ,like normal , from around the corner a ways. He smiled a little hearing the Headmaster get so fired up for once. 'I'll probably get my ass chewed later for not showing up 3 days ago but, it happens' he smiled finishing off the rest of his chow. His room wasn't far off so he made a quick bolt for it , the last thing he wanted was someone needing him to do something again. 'Last time someone asked a 'favor' of me I was crawling through spillways for a week' He shuddered at the thought... ' I'm just gonna go to my room, take a shower, shave, and pass the hell out' He thought with a smile. He would be in his room if anyone needed him for anything all they had to do was knock on the door and he'd bolt awake, that much had been ingrained in his very being since he was about the kids age. ' Least they have competent officers , and the balls to do something. If they could just work together it'd be fucking gold.' He pondered as he drifted off into an exhaustion fueled coma.
Kal nodded to the group, letting out a breath. Her posture relaxed slightly as she watched Prince walk away."I think expending energy would do us all some good." She muttered, her previous icy personality towards them seemed to thaw a bit. Kal followed Prince. "Next time at least send me an invite to the party." Kallin sighed when she reached him. With a glance back at the squad, Kal crossed her arms as she allowed a ghost of a smirk to cross her lips. "At least we know they'll stick together. They sure did make an impression though. Don't worry, Squad 30 will learn. Perhaps even get a passing grade next time." The quirk of an eyebrow was her only hint at teasing, since her expression didn't really change from the cold face. When a guy walked up, and started talking, Kallin nodded as he addressed her.
"Seems we have one person here that respects rank... or a good liar." The last jab was a sarcastic joke, and she nudge Prince with her elbow.
