ImageThe Essential Knowledge

Species
Mermaid "Oi! That's Merman to you!"
Age
26
Appearance
Brendan has beautiful, long, wavy orange thick hair. He's often mistaken for a female by some at first glance, although front on it is quite clear what gender he is. He has bright, dark blue eyes, soft sun-kissed flawless skin and rather sharp facial features. His long tail is the same colour as his eyes with hints of purple. Brendan is rather muscular though despite his rather feminine features with a toned torso and arms.
Personality
Brendan can be rather, oblivious, perhaps a bit ditsy and immature for his age. He tends to take things literally and seriously even though he's the type to joke around a lot and enjoys playing games and tricking others, he doesn't quite understand everyone around him all the time, he needs to work on his people skills. Although he is playful and happy, he is not like this at all times towards everyone. Only those he feels comfortable around other wise he can be quite distant and quiet around any random person including someone he might have know for a year or two, if he's not really close friends with them, the most you'll get out of him is a friendly wave. Brendan can get serious and angry if someone says something he does not like, whether or not he's intimidating is another story but he can get quite nasty. He's not afraid to hurt another living thing if he feels threatened and can be pretty stubborn and temperamental. Brendan has fallen in love countless times, although it isn't really love. When ever he finds someone of any race attractive or charming he grows attached to them without really knowing what they're actually like, sometimes he'll openly say to a close friend he loves a certain someone that he hasn't even spoken to once yet in his entire life. Yes he's a bit wishy washy, a day dreamer and sometimes a bit too positive, but he is the emotional kind of guy who can actually get offended quite easily and just as easily bite back without any explanations or apologies.

Your Opinion Matters
Image
Which side are you on?
Brendan is on neither side and is perhaps a little bit selfish to not choose a side and rather think about more unimportant things like what he'll be eating tomorrow. He's the type to help either side in all honesty, he is gullible and easily persuaded despite what his intuition might be telling him. Perhaps Brendan is far too trusting of others.

How do you see the war?
The war has been going on long enough and he thinks it's starting to get dull and boring. Brendan wishes that either side would hurry up and end it all. It wouldn't and doesn't matter much to him because he's always secluded himself from the mercity and would rather not be disturbed by anyone, a bit of a gypsy he is, moving from place to place a lot of the time. Of course he does go into town and meet new people and sometimes by chance a friend or too. But in conclusion, Brendan has no real opinion on the war apart from thinking it's stupid and boring.
Image

Image
What else should we know about you?
Sexuality
Unknown/Unsure. Brendan falls in and out of love easily with all kinds of people and races, so much so that it's pretty clear he is still unaware of what love really is and what it actually feels like.

Likes
✔ Strange, odd, different people, places and things.
✔ Pranks, Tricks and Jokes.
✔ His space, does not enjoy being involved with large groups of people, it makes him nervous and uncomfortable.
Dislikes
✖ Boring, typical, predictable, dull people.
✖ Too many questions.
✖ Kelp. To him, it's annoying and always gets in the way, it tends to get caught in his hair a lot.

Image
What's your position?
You could call him a gypsy of sorts, a traveling store as he does tend to sell things while he's on the move, a general goods/faulty goods person? He has no real position, he's a free spirit.
Whose in your family?
Brendan has no family left, not that he knows of anyway. He was an only child and his mother and father passed away quite some time ago, but not that long ago. His farther died in the war and his mother's death is unknown, one day she simply just did not return after she had gone out to get a few things. Brendan's been on his own ever since, not the type to want to linger in the past he tries to keep moving on with no real goal in life except to keep living,

What are your abilities?
♆ The Illusionist ♆ Brendan is great at using this ability the most, he's had lots of practice, trying it out on many people. Brendan can create any image he thinks up appear anywhere he chooses, although it takes a lot of concentration, skill and strong imagery to get it right. This can also allow him to make a certain object look like something it really isn't but even more difficult is to put the image into another's mind. Depending on how much willpower they may have, Brendan is able to make another think they saw something even when he's not around but this takes a huge amount of energy and strength to do and can possibly harm him critically. He can only do this when first meeting them though, once he feels he's got a lock on their mind, then he is free to continue the illusion while not around them. Still it is something he has to learn more of to safely do it right.
♆ Mocking Bird ♆ Brendan has the ability to mimic someone's voice. Of course it takes a bit of being around them a lot to get the voice right but by a lot we mean a few hours. That's a lot to Brendan.
♆ Fish Out of Water ♆ Only at night, Brendan can actually breathe out of water. This is when the moon is at its highest in the sky and the stars are the only lights. However, if put under stress, worry, or if injured this ability will play up and he will cut in and out of breathing. On a full moon would be the safest phase for him to come to the surface to breathe as no matter what the situation he can still manage to breathe out of the water. This is a bit hard to get used to though and is sometimes painful when transitioning from breathing in the water to out.

Tell us about your history
Brendan grew up a rather spoiled life, with a mum and a dad to raise their only son, so of course he got heaps of attention from them at all times and he was quite a needy child. They had always taken great care of him and raised him well. But as he got older and matured, he started to feel more and more lonely, but even now he was a bit too shy to actually approach people and make new friends. He didn't want to approach them or talk to them, but he still wanted someone to talk to and be friends with. Of course as the years went on he did make a few friends, some friends come and go, others moved away or moved on, but Brendan was always stuck in the same place. When his Dad died in the war, the family started to weaken with his mum left to take care of him, or rather, he take care of her. It was hard and she always smiled at him, tried her best to make things happy. But there was always something off about her, an odd emptiness. One day, she left a note telling him not to worry and that she would be back. It did not say where she went or when she'd return though. He waited, hours, days, weeks. There were search parties until all hope was lost and it was announced that she had either died or been captured and sold by the pirates. At first he didn't accept it. And so, he packed his things and left, searching for her. He traveled very far across the ocean, way too far to even know where home was anymore. After a year he gave up and accepted the sad truth she was gone. He made a living, gradually building up a small caravan of sorts that he kept supplies and goods in. Brendan still has the note she had left behind though, hidden in his precious box with other valuables such as family photos, currency etc. Now Brendan is still alone, but rather likes it that way, he's gotten used to it and simply enjoys fooling those who don't expect it and moving on with his life.

"Woops!" Brendan spoke out loud to himself as he fiddled with some strange object he wasn't familiar with. It was clearly from the surface, not necessarily Humans though, there were things that other species could use that the Humans could not. It seemed that they forgot this often. Nonetheless, some sort of cog flew out of the object as he turned a handle followed by a strange sound. He frowned at the object, then threw it over his shoulder. "How boring, stupid thing." He crossed his arms as he remained seated at the edge of his carriage of sorts. More like a small, poor quality shack/shop on wheels. Yes this was his home and he loved it. His tail smoothly swayed as he sat there, pouting like a child.

Suddenly, his surroundings became dark, puzzled and a bit on edge now, he looked around for the source before his eyes finally locked on to the waters above, a ship was going by and the greatness of it cast a large shadow bellow. Curiously, the merman tilted his head to the side to get a better look on a different angle. He wanted to get closer. Hopping off the carriage, locking it up and securing it he swam up towards the surface, but would simply look at it from the safety of the water for now. "Pirates." He muttered to himself, he forgot he was not too far from land, if he went to the surface of the waters now he would definitely see the shore. He did not pick this place on purpose thought but simply at random, moving from place to place and mapping out where he traveled was all he really did, selling a few things on the side. Anyway, following the ship, he remained just beneath it a little bit away from it, just in case.

Seraphim had recently finished her rather impromptu face off with the infamous Captain Dahnovin and had swam off, quickly making her way down into the deeper, safer part of the ocean. She was visibly shaken and clutched her spear tighter. Sighing with relief that the showdown ended... well not with her being in a net, she decided to swim further but spotted a familiar orange-haired merman. Why, it was Sir Fynn! She swam towards and decided to question the traveler.
"Sir Fynn, why are you here? ...Spying on pirates perhaps?" She asked curiously, voice in a hushed tone. She swam closer to the merman's position and had decided to settle beside him and wait for his answer..

As he continued to follow the ship, it was all that he paid any attention too. Until he heard a familiar voice coming his way. Blinking with a rather oblivious facial expression, like he had just been taken away from his little day dream, he turned to see Seraphim. Seeing her brought a smile to his face, there weren't many people that Brendan genuinely enjoyed the company of, they either bored him or annoyed him, or sometimes he just didn't like the look of them and felt no need to talk to them. That being said when he was interested in someone he was a nice guy. "Hey Seraphim!" He greeted her with a warm smile. "Of course haha you know me too well." Brendan was a bit more louder compared to Seraphim's rather quiet voice, she seemed much more, elegant to him, which was nice, he found that it added to her beauty. "What about you? What are you doing out here hm? Oh! Did you spot any attractive Pirates or something?" He grinned with a chuckle. Brendan continued to swim in the direction of the ship, then tilted his head to the side, something felt a bit off by the way she was held her spear so closely to her, "hey Seraphim, you alright? Did something happen?" He was being serious now, when it came to his friends he definitely showed a much more caring side compared to his playful ways. "If it was those Pirates I'm sure I can arrange a fun way to give them a run for their money." A most devious smile formed on his face as he had already started to think of ways to scare the crew or make them blame each other for a certain object going missing. What should he do, make them think they're eating maggots? Perhaps give off the illusion of the most fearsome Kraken! Oh the ideas that swam through his mind made him chuckle rather evilly to himself. Like a child about to pull a prank on a sibling.

Brendan was rambling on, he should probably shut up now and give the girl a chance to explain what happened before he- "come on let's go! It'll be fun. I'll make sure they don't do anything to you!" Oh, too late. He was off! Brendan began swimming towards the surface, excited and pumped to have some fun, he hadn't pulled any pranks on people in a while, his current location didn't exactly get too many Mermaids because it was so close to the shore. Brendan's eyes narrowed as his head slowly peered out of the water, the feel of the breeze of the surface was most relaxing, he loved the surface because of how much there was he hadn't seen. An explorer like himself would get bored of the same old Ocean, even if there was a whole heap of it to explore. Only half of his face would be seen on the surface of the water as he looked left and right with shifty eyes, trying to put on the whole, secret agent act on, dramatically sneaking around the ship. Cautiously he approached the ship, until he was just bellow the railing of the large ship before him. He looked up in awe, it was even bigger in person! He hadn't come across many ships as great as this! And he had been on many ships, his stupidity got him captured a lot. But what he was unaware of was the invisible Mermaid above him who watched the pirates closely.

Edmund almost frowned, but held back from it, keeping a straight face instead, "And what of you? Will you be joining us?" He was waiting, stalling until the rest of the crew and slaves were off the ship so he could ask what he needed to as the doctor of the crew. He needed to ask about the dreams, if they'd gotten better, worse, more or less frequent. But he'd wait patiently, as he did every two weeks or so. Meanwhile, he tried ignoring the wet patch they were near, and at how Nerida was obviously still there.

Edmund was right, Nerida was still in that exact spot, frozen, having rolled her eyes at Edmund's warning only moments before. She prepared to take flight, or a dive back down, especially when the Captain's expression became something fierce. in preparation, she looked down to see where she would land before turning to release... then did a double take. There was a mermaid down there. No, two mermaids! And the Captain was in a mood, provoked by certain thoughts. This was one of those moments that she wished she could manipulate emotions instead of dreams.

Finally, she calmed her self as best she could, her cause for diving back down more urgent. She wasn't able to keep the Mer-Soldiers from being captured without being noticed, she was hoping she could for these ones. Releasing her grip on the railing, she pushed off with her tail and twisted in the air into a swan dive. Once she hit the water, she curved her back so she didn't skid against the sea floor. Almost immediately she made herself visible, an urgent look in her eyes and tone in her voice as she swam to the male mermaid, "Hide. Now. Don't let him see you. He'll capture and sell you if he does!" She sped towards the very bottom of the boat where they wouldn't be able to be seen from above, "Follow me! Please!"

The blue mermaid, despite knowing Fynn for an acceptable amount time, is still not used to the man's rather interesting way of questioning things and running off and following the next thing his mind had come up with. She was fond of it, yes. But after facing the scary Captain, it left her in a scared mood of sorts and was trying her best to listen to the orange merman, whilst fighting off the horrendous thoughts her mind conjured up.

She was about to answer the multitude of questions Fynn had bombarded her until she saw him stop and acquired a peculiar look on his face. "..Sir Fynn?" She asked. The merman wasn't paying attention to her anymore and instead of looking at her, he was staring at something behind her. When she was about to open her mouth again, he sped off and went swimming to the direction she had just come from. Towards the direction of the ship!

Instead of telling him to stop, Seraphim immediately swam after him. Oh, she should have known Fynn would prank the pirates as means of revenge! While she was swimming after Fynn, she was already thinking of a million ways to tell him to stop. Which she knows, will end in vain. Once Fynn starts on something, he will have fun doing it and the possibility of him stopping is near to zero.

"Sir Fynn!" She whispered harshly once they both reached the surface. She saw Fynn looking at the ship in amazement. And she understood his fascination. Why, even she was enthralled once her eyes had spotted the floating, wooden thing.

She tugged on his arm and tried to get his attention. "Sir Fynn, while I admire your courage to exact revenge on these pirates, I suggest you to not do it alone! And without a plan! I'm fine, see? No need to anger them again. Come on." She nearly begged the merman. Going up to the surface, only mere minutes after being there and facing the Captain had nearly put her in a worried frenzy.

Seeing as the man's attention still on the ship, she sighed to herself, gathered her wilting courage and stared at her friend, then to the ship, then to her friend again. On the brighter side of things, she was curious as to how this 'prank' of his will go.

Edmund didn't hesitate to answer, knowing that if he did that his captain might believe something was amiss, "Aye, Captain. I'll inquire to your dreams later." He then walked walked away, almost sighing with how tiresome such a simple thing as keeping his good friend a secret could be. With this thought in mind, he found himself down below, checking the water hatch as he'd been ordered. It was still in good shape, so there'd be no need to exchange it for a new one or fix it up. Now, he wondered if Nerida had hidden.

Nerida was still ducking beneath the ship watching the other merpeople and hurriedly beckoning to them, "Please, try to stay out of his sight! I've seen him shoot several mermaids and leave them to die. He didn't care. Just please, hide!" That's when she saw the other mermaid approaching and was about to shout another warning when the mermaid.... fell asleep. She groaned and sped out to grab her, grasping her arms carefully to pull her to safety as quick as she could.

Brendan's attetion slipped away for a moment as suddenly another mermaid was visible as she dived over him and back into the water. She immediately turned to himself and Seraphim urging them to hide and follow her or else face the Captain wrath! But what she didn't understand was that he was a pro at this, he had stuffed around with the pirates many times, not out of spite but because they were so easy and sometimes more common than customers down bellow. It wasn't just pirates though, anything that traveled along the ocean by boat that he noticed he would amuse himself with some fun. He rolled his eyes as the mermaid swam off and Seraphim was trying to convince him not to go through with it. Perhaps he was getting too ahead of himself, this ship was much larger than the ones he had played pranks on, an experienced captain must be in charge. Even though he had been captured many times before for his rather rare features and what not, he had always escaped easily due to be far too cunning, but when the mermaid had mentioned she had seen the captain shoot and kill merpeople on sight, it did worry him a bit, what if these pirates weren't into the worth of merpeople or selling them and were in fact just killers? Still, that curiosity of his...
"Don't worry Seraphim, I'll take your advice for once." He replied to her with a chuckle, poking his tongue out playfully. "A most devious plan is needed! But first..." The most devilish grin of his formed on his face again "just a peak.." Brendan listened carefully to the voice and followed the direction. He stopped, then most hastily grabbed onto the ship and lifted himself up to get just a little peak inside to see what the people might look like, he should probably remember how much of a beacon his bright orange hair could be though.

When he finally looked on board, he saw only one male, he was checking things that Brendan wasn't familiar with, but he wasn't concentrating on that, he was far too busy staring at the dark haired pirate who was certainly very attractive. Suddenly, he saw another enter the room and his eyes widened with panic at how long he was staring out in the open, quickly he let go and dived back into the ocean. He inhaled deeply, then exhaled, his heart was racing, it was a wonderful thrill. He smiled faintly, laughing off how nervous he had gotten all of a sudden. However he would not forget that guys face, definitely not. He looked different to the other pirates he had usually seen on board ships, this guy looked much more neat and tidy and clean, others looked more rugged, brutish and intense. Not that he didn't mind that look either. He remained just under the water, still right near the boat as he let his hand fall on his heart, he hadn't felt his heart beat this fast in a while, it was fun. "Wooow." Brendan said to himself in awe. Maybe no one had actually entered that room and he was just paranoid, but he swore he thought he heard someone coming, and so he acted on that thought. It would suck if there was no one entering the room that whole time, he could have checked that guy out a bit longer.. God he was such a pervert, male or female, what ever species they may be he was always studying someone, checking them out one way or another.

Edmund had just gotten the hatch open, and could already hear his captain coming down. He kept calm as he could, unholstering his gun and pointing it at the water. Before shooting, he stood ver it, using his shadow as a warning to his sister, which he hoped she got and used to get to safety. Then he pulled the trigger several times, shooting in several somewhat different directions. He then shouted, pretending he hadn't heard his Captain coming down.

"Captain, I think it was mermaids! I didn't see them but it definitely wasn't sharks, they'd be coming back if they were!" He scanned the water with his eyes, looking for any signs of blood, a sign that would show he'd accidentally shot something, "Cap'n, these ones 'er smart, I don't think they're Mer-soldiers."

Nerida rolled her eyes and sighed in exasperation at the merman but... couldn't help but find him a bit amusing. This showed in the amused smile that formed on her lips. "Fine. Go crazy, let 'em at ya." She looked up to the hatch her brother was checking and saw his shadow, he had his gun pointed at the water to "shoot" whatever was there, most definitely as hhis captain had ordered him to. "Okay, actually, listen to me just once!" She continued to pull the sleeping mermaid, whom she had no clue was a princess, with her and swam past the merman, hooking her free arm with his as she did. Just as she touched him she became invisible, making the sleeping mermaid and the bright-haired merman invisible with her. And her timing was lucky, for right when her tail left the danger zone several bullets went through the water.

'Too, close. Way too close,' she thought, looking backto the hatch as she stopped pulling the other merpeople, but kept in contact with them to keep them hidden. Though she didn't know how much longer she could keep it up. And, despite the situation, she pointed an amused question toward the merman, "So, I have to ask, and be honest with me here... which one were you checking out? Because the only two that are on the ship at the moment are my brother and the Captain." She smirked, though the merman wouldn't be able to see it seeing as she was keeping them hidden. And Nerida whispered, because she could hear Edmund shouting above them.

"I Knew it was a sting, drop this into the water" Jack pulled out what looked like a bomb and handed it to him. "shoot to detonate, i have to warn the crew."

Jack sprinted up the stairs and began rining the alarm "All hands on deck!" he shouted. The town exploded with the sounds of footsteps and rattling cages as the crew horded back onto the ship with rum gold and ect. "To arms! prepare a clearing!"

Jack looked over the edge with a flintlock with a line of prepared muskets on either side...

The blue-haired mermaid noticed something flash in her peripheral vision and her begging faltered as she turned her head to carefully investigate the distraction. 'Was that the princess's hair she sees? What is she doing here?! She coughed again and stared at Fynn and tried to remember what she was trying to say. Her rattled nerves usually get the best of her and her already shy persona tends to get more tongue-tied as ever and the princess being close to that rude devil adds to her already rapidly beating heart.

Seraphim grimaced when she saw Fynn poked a tongue at her while she was speechless. She was serious! Something bad could happen if they were to unexpectedly show up in a pirate's ship. She huffed her cheeks as a retort and tried to calm her nerves as she saw her friend haul himself up and peek at the pirates that were on board.

Deciding that something might actually happen if they weren't on their guard, Seraphim took it upon herself to stand watch whilst her companion took his time above the surface. She also took this time to carefully watch the slumbering princess just in case, as well. It would do no good to the kingdom if something were to happen to her. And on her watch too. Her eyes are sharp for a reason.

After a couple of minutes, the orange merman caught her attention as he suddenly dived down and a hand fluttered its way to his chest.
'Were those sparkles in his eyes?!' She immediately thought and quickly hovered over her starstrucked friend. She heard him utter a word of astonishment and she blinked at him.

Wait a minute...

She had seen that look before. Before her parents had died. How her father gazed at her mother and the two would share a look that made the then young girl look away, blushing to the tips of her elven-like ears. That was the look of someone falling in love. Or at least she hoped in this merman's case.. adoration to say the least.

She worriedly waved a hand to his face and seeing him still dazed, sighed and went to the surface, curiosity striking her. To see who the lucky guy the merman had inevitably fallen for, of course. Just like her orange friend, her blue hair was an eye-catcher -something she sometimes loathes since it causes unwanted attention.

Pushing her head towards the surface, she gave herself a few seconds to get use to the air above. It was very different from underwater and her hidden gills at her neck slowly closed as her pathway in her throat dedicated to breathing air from outside the water opened up.

She slowly swam towards the ship and stretched her delicate neck to sneakily peek at the pirates. Nope, not that one. That one's too hairy. The other was all muscle and even the neck isn't seen. Oh! The other pirate doesn't even have teeth! And then there was the pirate she had come face-to-face with. She frowned and willed her head to turn to another direction and to search harder..... until her eyes landed on another man.

"Oh, fish guts." She cursed to herself. Oh, yes. Fynn is on his way to Love-Ville and there's no going back. She gasped rather loudly and was surprised at herself. She immediately dunked herself underwater, for fear someone had heard her and reached for Fynn's arms, he was still sporting a dreamy look on his face.

"Sir Fynn, we really have to get you out of here. Now. You can check on...him when everything's all calm, alright?" She coaxed her friend. She understands her friend's interest on the man. She was after all, a female herself. And a young guppy at that! But she respects her dear companion and will try her best in helping him in.. Uhh. In whatever he's planning. As long as she's with him. She worries over him like a mother, she knows. But he's almost like family and she doesn't want anything to happen to him.

Still in a daze, the voices around him were all muffled until he felt something grab his arm. Snapping out of his little day dream, which he seemed to be doing a lot of lately at the wrong times. One mermaid on his right arm, Seraphim on his left. Brendan looked at them with a puzzled expression on his face until suddenly they were invisible. His face lit up with fascination until the bullets just barely missed them. He pulled Seraphim in closer to him, worried that she might get hurt, he wouldn't be able to live with that as it would have been his fault. "Perhaps it is time to leave." Brendan spoke up with a short laugh, smiling sheepishly; that spray of bullets certainly made his heart race as adrenaline rushed through him.

Once they had moved a safe distance away, both females started asking questions- wait was that the Princess? Okay that's random, shaking his head he concentrated on one thing at a time. "Your brother and the Captain huh? Um, I'm assuming the dark haired neat and tidy looking one is your.. brother? Wait your brother?!" He wasn't sure why but he felt a bit embarrassed talking about it. Sure he joked about it with others and teased other merfolk when they might be attracted to someone but when it was him it was different, it was something he usually did alone, although it certainly made him happy to be around more people that he enjoyed the company of. Aside all that, he was confused as to how the human looking pirate could possible be related to a mermaid, unless it was a brother - sister relationship between the two. Perhaps they knew each other and saw each other this way. Oh hang on that was good news for him! He could ask all sorts of questions about him! While awaiting her reply all these thoughts ran through his mind and his face lit up with much happiness as a big smile formed on his face.

Brendan turned to Seraphim with a soft smile "thanks for looking out for me, and yeah you're right, it is best to come back later to check on him when we not trying to be hunted down by crazy pirates haha! I swear they're so paranoid, they need to live a little." Well maybe they were as wild as you Brendan, perhaps just not this one pirate. He hoped that if he ever got to speak with the pirate, he wouldn't try to shoot or capture him. Either way he knew there was a chance to escape, it would just be a shame.

Brendan turned to look back at the ship as all he could see now was the bottom of it from afar. He watched as a spray of bullets with released into the ocean, still trying to hit them it seemed. He sighed at how nasty that would have been if they were still lingering in that area. The Merman then just remembered, the Princess. He looked back at the mermaid he was unfamiliar with then looked at the sleeping Princess. "Uhh, why is the Princess asleep? Did you knock her out?" Brendan asked jokingly with a grin. "Also I didn't quite catch your name, I'm Brendan and this here is my friend Seraphim." He smiled as he pointed to Seraphim with his thumb. Where would he be without these girls? They certainly saved his ass far too many times, he was such a dreamer, off with the fairies.

Hana's eyes opened slowly, as she felt someone pillung her by the hand. She could see herself surrounded by several mermaids, including the ones she saw earlier. Hana felt tempted to fall asleep again, but rubbed her eyes and looked at the rest.
"Hey. What's up?" is all she said. Hana would ask where she was, why was she pulled away, were they under attack, for how long has she been asleep, but felt that a simple 'What's up' would get her a proper answer. Why did her father make her go somewhere and be productive when she was so tired?

"Let's hope Hana is useful right now." Ronan thought to himself. Soon he spotted a pirate ship. His blood rushed in his veins, his pulse raced and his desire to fight started burning from the inside. It was the crew with the captain who believed the mermaids took his treasure. The same one who kidnapped mermaids and sold them to humans like they're things. He wanted the whole crew dead, they were pirates after all. And this was war. Ronan pointed his trident at the ship and started swimming in that direction.

As the trident smashed into the ship, The three points bent offwards, but the ship shook to the side.

"Were under attack! Prepare bigger depth Charges!"

Even with a strong as Ronan was, his skin could not deflect bullets or with stand explosions. Jack looked down at the Merman, Only the king would know where his fathers treasure was. "Ronan!" He shouted while drawing a flintlock...
