Emerald sighed; she finallu found a park, so hopefully she had found a spot to rest. She paused, glancing over the minds of the people in the park, to make sure no one would bother her. Instead, she found the second mind she had encountered before, andm oddly enough, another half-angel mind, as well as Laisin's. She shook her head. apparently Laisin had tld her that her mother was dead...but probably not that he had killed her. She waited a moment before walking towards them, putting on the most concerned look she was capable of. She paused when she noted that Laisin was still trying to talk to the girl, wondering what she might interrupt. But perhaps it was best if she at least tried to help him out. After all, humans would find it rather hard to trust someone that looked like him, as opposed to someone who looked human, like she did.

"What's wrong?" she asked, glancing between the pair of them. She pretended not to know what had happened to her mother, and let the girl think she knew nothing about either of them. "Is there anything that can be done to help out?" The girl before had been rather suspicious, although she couldn't be sure if that was her personality...or one of her other personalities...or if she just was wary after being told she was a half-angel. These half-breeds were going to irritate her beyond belief. Couldn't they have at least been older? Like closer to their twenties? Maybe then, for the male half-angels, all seh'd have to do was walk by, accidentally bump into one of them. But no; they were children, and things were much harder than that. "Is there anyone we should call?" For now, all she could do was play sympathetic, and hope the girl was too upset over her mother's death to find a stranger approaching her strange. Well, maybe not too strange; the other boy was a stranger to her, and he had approached her.

Nobody came in and Seiko changed back in to Evania and she said " Sorry mom, for some reason i thought i was being followed." She smiled. She put her bow and arrows down then sat down and started eating her dinner. As she only had a small portion it only took Evania minutes to eat it and she picked up her bow and arrow and said " Mother I'm going to the park, don't wait up 'kay, love you mom see you later." Evania smiled and then walked out, She was not lying, she was going to the park, but the reason she was going was to scout around and possibly get some practice.

When she got to the park she walked round it once, walking passed a boy leaning on a scythe and a girl both about the same age as her. They were close to the tree she used to get some extra practice after club hours. She walked passed them scanning both there faces but nothing about them raised alarm bells for her or Seiko. When Evania got back to the park entrance and as the park was empty apart for her and two other and as they were at her practice tree they were going to see her anyway. Evania took out her bow out and also took an arrow out as well. She walked with the bag on her back, an arrow in one hand and the bow in the other. when she go to the tree they were still there. She decided to continue with her plan for extra practice. Evania just walked passed the boy and girl, she was now standing just inches away from them when she put the arrow in the bow and took the shot. She did this for about three more shots before stopped and looked around. "Evania what are you doing" "Nothing Seiko, just looking". Evania continued to stare at where the entrance was. She was wanting to shot another arrow but she was sure she was looking strange shooting arrows at things so she stopped and just stared at the ground and continued to wounder how that woman knew what her mother had just told her. Evania rubbed her head. Evania suddenly sensed another presence, she looked up and there was that girl from earlier, Evania readied an arrow in the bow but Kept the point at the ground. She did not trust this girl she did not know what it was but there was something about her. She looked at the girl, she just looked at her, then Seiko did not even warn her that she was coming out, Evania felt an all to familiar pain run though her head, she winced, she was getting used to it. She opened her eyes and she was now Seiko. She continued to look at the girl and then at the other two muttered I wonder if they trust her or it might just be her. Seiko shrugged and then looked at Evania's handiwork on the tree and smiled. With the arrow still in the bow she walked over and Said "that girl is getting good" Seiko started to take the arrows out, somehow she felt like she might need them at some point.

Alex looked up to see the boy walking over to her, ''I'm fine..'' Alex said softly, that was when she heard the voice in her ear, He...He was one of them?! But...But he looked so innocent and he looked like someone that would be good and someone that would help her, She took a couple of steps back just in case. Then she felt another presence come up and she looked up to see a lady, who had a concerning face. ''Its fine, I'm fine, its nothing...'' Alex said to them both, feeling a little surrounded even though there was only two people there.

Alex looked at them both and had a weird feeling to go towards the boy and keep away from the girl, The girl gave her that same scared and disgusting feeling in her stomach just like that guy had done. Alex took a few steps towards the boy and kept her now dark blood red eyes on the lady. Not trusting her concerned face at all. She then looked over at the girl shooting arrows. She felt a kind of 'happy' feeling towards her, like that they would be friends.

Laisin looked to another one and then to Emerald she had obvious had even less success than he did and then to think that she had mind powers that would allow her to make them mindless puppets. He followed the shadow of the one that he had talked with she would be his target but he did take his time to make a slightly risky jump that let a small piece of shadow connect Emerald shadow and the hybrid's shadow because it was his but he did it quickly before settling in a shadow on Emerald's back whispering his plan "I will attack you and fail then they will believe you to be the good one then you will be free to do your job." Laisin quickly came back in the hybrids shadow and said a bit louder "She's one of them to, stay away from her. He's like you half and to stupid to follow reason. Don't go to her or I will rip out your heart as I did with that piece of meat you called your mother. Yes I killed her want to know why? Because I liked to kill her for her stupid choose. You in a way killed her because you lead me there your energy led me to her and I killed her to get to you understood that I will do the same with you if you dare to stay here?"

Emerald nodded to the girl as she walked away, saying she didn't need any help. So now how was she supposed to get anything done? Apparently the two half-angels she had talked with so far hadn't trusted her. Why, she wasn't sure; she hadn't ever really fit in with other demons before, so they shouldn't see her as a demon. But then, blood is blood, and her blood was demon. Children did have an annoying internal alarm system for things like that, anyway. This was really getting more and more frustrating. She paused as she heard Laisin's plan, and closed her eyes, shaking her head. 'A good plan,' she consented, replying mentally to keep the other children from hearing.

She waited until she was sure Laisin had told the child what she needed to hear, and hesitantly took a step towards the girl. "I know you said you didn't want any help...but at least take some advice?" She approached the girl; she wasn't going to be thwarted by foolish excuses. "It's getting late, and children shouldn't be out so late at night. You'd be safer at home, or a friends house, you know?" She would wait for Laisin to attack. Her minor control over shadows would let her hide a good deal of it, so that the children wouldn't catch on.

Laisin heard the thing's and acted before the girl could act "Wise advice angel!" His claws were in her shoulder's a second later as one of his claws grabbed a knife and put just at her neck. "Very wise indeed so called saint." He had his full being focused on faking rage as that was the hardest emotion for him to make. "You failed foolish being! You failed!" A knife flicked at the boy not really quick and a hybrid could easily grab it right out of the air but it was faster than a normal human could handle and his claw began to pull blood on her shoulder as he whispered in her ears "You will scream maggot, you will scream right before her eye's and she won't help you as one step will be her" He was int erupted by something and his stopped. "No! Not this day not again! I will not fade this time!" His entire being began to fade and his claws went right trough the girl without causing damage
and his dagger came trough her neck without doing anything as he used his powers. "I will get my revenge for my master and you girl will follow the fate of your mother I ripped out her hart! Die!" He jumped at her going right through her falling into the shadow shifting into the shadow slipping into Emerald's shadow settling in her entire shadow.

Seiko heard the commotion behind her, she looked around and before she knew it someone or something was on the girl that Evania was subconsciously protecting, Seiko on the other hand was only trying to protect Evania, but Evania was shouted SEIKO HELP HER NOW!!!!" "Why Evania?" Seiko was confused Evania has never tried to be courageous before and she has never ordered Seiko to be either. "JUST DO IT, IF YOU DON'T SHE'LL DIE. GO!".Like taking a command she readied an arrow and said "Let her go or your life is on the line" She fired a warning shot, deliberately missed but only by Centre-meters then said " The next one will not miss I promise you that." Seiko looked over to the boy with the Scythe and said "Are you going to help or are you going to just stand there looking pretty" Seiko looked back at the thing on the girl and she was ready to fire the arrow she had ready at any time. "Don't hit her Seiko" "Fayth what do you take me for, I will not hit her" Seiko looked at the thing and let the moon light hit her red eyes.

The feeling Chris got in her back wasn't a normal cramp or ache, it was something that she had never felt before. Chris bent over as the pain spread through out her body. "Mom, why the hell did you have to say anything? This hurt .... it hurts." Chris fell to the floor and cried out as the pain went to the max, but quickly disappeared. Her back felt heavier but, in a way, she felt lighter. As if ... she could fly. "Mom, what's going on," she said as she twisted around to look at her back. There were pure white wings coming from between her shoulder blades. "Okay ... now do you believe my story? Your father was an angel Chris. And this has to be proof enough for you." Chris looked p at her mother with a slightly shocked look.

Emerald frowned as Laisin charged at her, then vanished to hide in her shadow. She watched the child fire an arrow, then shook her head. "I don't think you can harm a being made of shadow from a normal arrow, child." She frowned at her shadow, where Laisin was hiding, and thought a brief apology as she separated her shadow for a second; not making it disappear, but making it look as though she was searching her own shadow with light. "...I think that's taken care of. Demons seem to have a hard time attacking angels, you know? Probably disappeared back into the pits of hell, where he came from..." She paused, looking thoughtfully back at the child. "But you're half-angel, right? I thought I sensed that. Have your wings yet? Or is it too soon?" Whether or not they knew they had wings, they were useless if they children didn't know that just flapping them up and down didn't work; they'd need practice, and help. Not that she'd be of much use.

"Now, maybe you should hurry home; at the very least, your parents...err...parent...might be able to protect you." She couldn't let on that she knew what had happened to her mother. That would lose all the trust she gained from this little experience...unless she could find a way that she could have found out without her abilities...no, no; this was best. "Or they could warn you if someone enters the house, or you could protect them. It's a lot harder for demons to attack in a house where a capable angel lives...perhaps the same is true for half-angels..." She shrugged. "In any case, it's not safe out here, where the demons can find you so easily."

Seiko just looked at Emerald, Seiko was a little irritated by what she said "I don't think you can harm a being made of shadow from a normal arrow, child." " Oh really" Seiko concentrated on the arrow she was about to fire. She could heat on the pointed part of the arrow. Seiko fired the arrow out of sheer frustration. When she looked up she saw then the had fire around it, was one of the very few things Seiko was surprise at. The arrow went passed Emerald not hitting her and then the arrow was embedded in the wall at the entrance. Seiko looked at the woman, there was something off about Emerald, Seiko looked at Emerald and she could sense an aura, Seiko said "If your on our side, then why are you not surprised by what you have seen here today and also how do you know we are half angels we could be you average 16 year olds ?" Seiko was not buying her I'm here to help act but Evania was on the fence about believing her and as always Fayth believed her.

Emerald winced as the arrow passed by her, then looked back at it. "I said a normal arrow, child; clearly that wasn't a normal arrow." She didn't like it when people, particularly humans, and especially humans, tried to prove her wrong. Still, that was an impressive bit of magic; if she had been able to do something like that back home, she might have lived with her parents and brother for quite a bit longer than a couple of years. She shook her head as she looked back to the child. "Now, as for the other questions, what do you mean? What is left to surprise an angel? If we watch this Earth, like God does, what are we really going to miss?" She shrugged. "We see almost as much as our master does, so there is little left to surprise us at all. "As for the half-angel part..." She hesitated, but sighed. "You didn't exactly bother hiding the fact. Normal humans can't change their eye color, even if they do have multiple personalities, like you do. You didn't bother to hide the sudden change in eye color, and so proved that you aren't a normal human."

She smiled, though without humor. "Besides, a normal human being can't light arrows on fire. You haven't bothered to hide that you are different, that you are unique, and so that makes it so much easier." This was so much easier than lying all the time. It was the truth, all of it...she only left out her own ability. She couldn't be accused of lying, especially when she wasn't really specifying who her master was, although insinuating that it was God. She tilted her head to one side curiously. "But you're going to need help learning to control your powers, aren't you? That arrow was only done in frustration. If you could control it, wouldn't it be so much more useful? And so much easier to hide what you really are?"

Alex eyes flickered to all there faces, she did not believe that this lady was here to help her, and Alex had now stopped being sad and whimpy she had gone back to her strong quiet self. She took a step forward. Looking at both the girl with the arrow then the one that that man had attacked. ''I think... i'll be safer here than anywhere else, my mother is.....gone..'' Alexandra choked on the last word, but kept herself looking brave and strong, and pressing her feelings down like she always did, Her blood red eyes shone, in a weird way. ''Powers?! I don't have powers....'' Alex voice trailed off, and went back to the time when she was a kid, when she had accidentally touched a kid on his arm and he had passed out in 5 seconds.. Alex thought it was just some weird thing that happened, but it was her....weird supernatural ability, it was her power.... and at that very moment, she had felt everything that the boy was feeling, and she knew all his memories just with a single touch, Thats when she decided she should wear gloves everywhere... So she did. She had also had this way of knowing how people felt.. But she thought that was normal... Was it? She didn't know anything else of any other power.

Emerald watched the other girl carefully, giving a concerned look. "Gone? But...well, it can't really be helped, can it? Perhaps you should stay with me, then; no demons will come after you while I'm there." Or, if they did, she could always threaten them. It was on their master's orders that she persuade them to join them. What better wa than to protect at least one of them? She glanced back at the other girl, with multiple personalities, then back to the other when she said she didn't have powers. She tilted her head to one side. "I'm sure you do. Your eye color isn't exactly normal, either, is it? I suppose that would mean you do have some sort of power. Perhaps I could help you figure it out? Maybe you could use some help controlling it, too...or have you figure out what it is you can do?" She had trailed off sos suddenly. She probably had figured something out.

"Well, it's up to you. Besides, all I really have is a small apartment; won't be much good except to keep the demons away. I won't push you...but I will say that it's probably a better idea than staying out here in the park. We don't want demons to show up and have you not know how to defend yourself...do we?" The small apartment was something she had done on a whim; she was almost never there to begin with. But it proved useful during the day, when she had spent too much energy at night. The children at the park didn't seem to want to leave her alone, and she needed somewhere to rest. She certainly couldn't afford the energy to get back to Hell to meditate after she had used so much powers. "I would suggest that you do come along...or that you stay with a friend. Better to have company than be on your own...although we don't want a friend to be 'gone', too, do we?"

Seiko just looked at the woman, when she said about hiding herself, Seiko said "I'm the personality Seiko, I do not hide from anybody, Evania is the one who hides no me I have no reason too." The woman then said about controlling her power, Seiko had to agree with her, Seiko said " Yes i may need to control it, but i don't want help from some on I don't trust, for all we knew you could be anybody, you could be someone trying to hurt us." Seiko just looked at the woman but at this moment she felt no threat and let Evania back though but said Mentally to her "Be careful of that one okay Evania

Evania looked around and she now had a headaches as Seiko had been in control twice today and she always had to come out so violently. She was trying to hide her face now as she could not believe Seiko fired an arrow at this woman, not only that this woman was unarmed. She looked over to the girl who had said about her mother being gone. Evania walked over to the girl and she suddenly felt a pang of sympathy for the girl but she did not know what the poor girl was going though, because if it was her she would not be able to do anything as she was so close to her mother that if she did she was sure a little bit of Evania would die too. As Evania go closer to the girl, Fayth came out as she was the caring personality.

Fayth put her hand on the girls shoulder as if to comfort her and she then said " I am sorry for you lose, I can not possibly think what you are going though, but if you do not want to stay on your own tonight you can come back to mine, that is if you like," Fayth felt like she could be friends with this girl or at least she hopped she could be friends with her but the woman opposite her gave her chills that ran down her spine. Fayth did not trust her but she did seem genuine so Fayth could not put her finger on what was off about her.

Alex ignored Emerald, She did not trust her and she wouldn't want some stranger helping her with her powers let alone goto their house, she looked at Emerald up and down, she had this off vibe about her like she had the look of some really sweet women you would see on the street but when you get close enough to her, you could have that sense of uncomfortable-ness about her and it made you feel scared and lonely. She looked over at Evania and saw the eye change, Alex thought it was pretty cool having multiple personality's but it would probably give you a big headache changing from one to another.

Alex was about to take a step back and defend herself when Evania aka. Fayth put her hand on her shoulder, but she felt like they we're going to be friends and that there was nothing to be scared of from her. ''It-Its alright.. If it is alright then yes please i would want to come to your place'' Alex said, feeling happy that she had asked her to stay, because she didn't want to be alone in her own place, desperately wanting her mother to come back or this to just be all a dream and she could not live out here in the park being there creepers and weirdo's out here that her mother always used to warn her about when going out alone, but other then that there could be those 'things' coming after her, the 'things' which we're called Demons by Emerald.

Emerald held in a sigh. Here she had stopped a demon from going after them; she would have been able to stop other demons from coming after them! She gave them a thoughtful look instead. "I should stay nearby, though. I've been given orders...and I haven't disobeyed an order before. I can't afford to be put through a punishment if I disobey for the first time. I have a job to do, you know. ...Perhaps just outside...or...are there are apartments of hotels anywhere near your house?" She couldn't be shaken off this easily. She did have a job to do, so she didn't have much of a choice, here. She'd just have to settle for anything second-best for now.

She shook her head. "You'd think you'd want the help, seeing as you're nothing more than experiments..." She shook her head again. Perhaps a bit of taunting was needed. "Thrown away experiments, nonetheless. Ah well; I suppose I should turn my attention to searching for more demons that might be hiding around here, or near your house..." Who knew who else had heard about the half-angels? There were always going to be a few renegade demons; they couldn't be allowed anywhere near the half-angels.
