Rorik can be found over stepping his place as "pet" sometimes, and indeed his more wolfish behaviors shine and though part of him defends his more wild outbursts with "what do you expect?", he feels bad afterward, though literally apologizing is beyond him. The way he sees it, his duty is honorable and important, and something the family ought to take pride in as he does.
Trouble seems to find him or its that he has a knack for trouble, but he truly does try to stay on his best professional performance, especially in public where he is at risk of reflecting on the Lacroix house. That is, until he eases into the environment and has the family's permission to show a few more colors other than placid. He can often adjust to anything House Lacroix needs of him, particularly for Abigail; a strict bodyguard, a friend, even a comforter or a means of warmth in his wolf form, and will make that his first priority. Yet at the same time, he would rather be a protective brother that can join the festivities and dance and talk with others rather than hover annoyingly over members of the House.
