Priscilla sat under one of the large umbrellas that decorated the burger joint, watching the crowd. She was supposed to meet a new girl here sometime soon, and she had spotted her a long time ago. She didn't, however, go over and say hello- she wanted to rest of the squad to meet her first. For now, she was practicing with a new form, getting all the quirks out. She had drawn the new alter ego and given her the name
Katie, but she hadn't gotten the personality.
The shifter's eyes followed the movements of a random girl in the crowd, watched as she jumped at the chance to have a thumb war with her friend over the last piece of pizza (or at least that was what Priscilla thought it was about), and then jotted down some notes in her sketch book, writing 'Competitive' as a trait this new ego would have. That was the way she made personalities sometimes- just look, pick a person, and write down the first trait they exhibit. It worked best for her. Slowly, she looked over to the new hero her team was thinking of recruiting. The girl, Alice, was munching on another burger.
I wonder how far she thinks Vee's hospitality goes?, Priscilla thought with a smirk as she munched on her own cheeseburger, the ketchup dropping onto her shirt.
"Not again," she said with a sigh before grabbing a few napkins and dabbing the spot on the red maxi dress. This stain was accompanied by a few others, and Priscilla dabbed at it until it faded before she flipped her book a few pages until she came upon a page that held a vibrant drawing of the dress. Fabric was a difficult thing for her, because it wasn't as big a part of her anatomy as say, her skin or hair color. Her true forms dress style was, thankfully, very recognizable as only her's and she used it as a base for all her outfits, so she still could shift it if she concentrated. She focused a moment on the drawing of the dress she wore before she felt the fabric shift over her skin, turning inside out and the stitches changing so the entire outfit was inside out without looking that way, and completely stain-free.
"This does have some perks," she smiled lightly before picking up her plate and throwing it away in a nearby trashcan and returning to her old seat for a moment and picking up her sketchbook before heading over to the seat that held the new recruit, deciding to not shift back to normal for the time being. She still had to practice Katie's people skills anyway.
"Hello!" Priscilla said brightly as she slid into the seat across from Alice and placing her sketch book in front of her. "I'm Katie. You?" she asked before turning as she heard another introduce herself just a few seconds after her. Priscilla turned and snorted when she saw Cameron there, even when Priscilla was sure from all her people-watching that she hadn't been moments ago. "Hey" she said with a wink and a wave before turning back to Alice, still smiling.
